I should have known when I got a makeup appt last minute that there was a reason. I left with the worst makeup application I have ever had. The stylist did not know how to match foundation, didn't comb out my brows, and had ZERO idea how to put lashes on. I left with one lash falling off and the other halfway up my eye lid. I brought my own quality $30 MAC lashes for her to butcher them and then tried to charge me $11 for "strip lashes". She didn't finish blending my orange foundation and left my cheeks and forehead white. I wish I had read the reviews before coming. The only reason I did is because MAC closed. I literally left in tears having to rush home to fix my face. Oh and she used my own lipstick too because she was rushed to get me out of the chair. So please tell me what about this cost $70? I had a noon appointment to get my hair done and a 1pm appointment for make up application, when I called these were the times they booked me for. I was seen by Simone and she we NOT at all warm or welcoming and basically mute. No consult she just started throwing in curls-- slamming the curling iron down and hair spray down loud enough to make you feel like an inconvenience. My finished looked was very messy and unkept with tight banana looking curls. She printed the slip and gave it to me. Never asked if I liked it or anything it was a 12 minute appointment. I walked over to my make up application appointment to describe what happened and we both agreed the hair was not up to standard. She was in as much shock as I was and offered to start on my make up. The make up artist was so kind and did an amazing job and she even called the salon manager over. Luckily management came over and made it right, took me over to a new hair dresser who was so kind friendly and helped. She admitted that their was too much of the wrong product put in my hair and washed it and gave me the look I originally wanted. I'm grateful they fixed it but honestly the original hair dresser should not be treating clients like that and it put pressure on the hair dresser tasked with correcting to do it fast to keep up with their own appointments. read more

I had my wedding party get our makeup there in September and Cindi was amazing and took her time and made sure you left the chair satisfied. She even made up for the annoying experience we had. With the Mac makeup artist towards the end of our appointments. It says a lot when I would rather pay for the service then deal with the Mac person where you only had to pay for a product. when ever I need to do makeup I will always look for Cindy. I live in a nearby town and really appreciate having an Ulta Beauty store nearby. Lately, I find it uncomfortable to shop at this location due to the constant beeping of the theft prevention devices. I am all for having these devices if they are needed but why do they have to constantly beep. When I went to check out again , no pleasantries, and no question of I found everything ok . And the lady checking me kept giving me the weirdest looks almost condescending. I'm actually horrified!! I went to get my eyebrows waxed by Simone and she botched my eyebrows. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed by the way my eyebrows looked until she did them. It looks like a 5 year old did them. I've been to this location before to get my eyebrows waxed and the girl that did them last time was amazing. I honestly don't think Simone went to school to do eyebrows because they are so uneven and two different shapes. Not to mention that the arch is in the wrong place!!! They are way too thin which is not my style. I even told her to not make them thin and to leave them thick but to shape them. Clearly she couldn't do that. I will never go there again. If you want uneven eyebrows and it to look like someone who closed their eyes the whole time did them then ask for Simone. I highly recommend not using Simone if you want perfect eyebrows. read more

This Ulta is brand new and I stopped in for their opening weekend! I was in search of a specific eye liner from Urban Decay, once I tracked down the Urban Decay section I found the eyeliner but, the one I wanted was out of stock on the floor. I thought this was odd for an opening weekend since well, they just opened! I was able to track down an employee who unlocked a draw of excess product and located the one I wanted. I noticed she didn't stock the station back up which seems like something you would automatically do to ensure you sold product to interested patrons, I was not a big fan of that. The store is a bit smaller then the ones in Natick or Attleboro but, they do have a salon area. It would have been great if they had the Brow Bar but it seems like Natick is still the closest one who has that feature. They are really building up the Patriot Place South Marketplace area and I do think Ulta is a great addition! Hopefully after they are open for a few they can work out any stocking issues. read more

There was no one in there - so it's not like there was an influx of people needing help. Two girls who did work there were chatting amongst themselves across the store like they were at home with no cares in the world. Ended up going to target in plainville mass to get what I needed, because this store was out after we found the spot the makeup was supposed to be in. I have been going to this Ulta Beauty for years to get my brows done and after my experience on Sunday 2/28 I do not think I will ever be returning. I had an appointment with Simone and specifically told her I just wanted my brows cleaned up and wanted them to look as natural as possible. She then proceeded to not only make my eyebrows incredibly thin but also make them uneven. When I tried to tell her I was unhappy with my brows she dismissed me and then proceeded to go on her break and did not even apologize or offer to do anything to fix it. It seemed like she rushed through my entire appointment just to go on her break. I now have to stencil in my eyebrows just to make them look even. Over a week later, and Ulta took my $$ but my order is still awaiting the shipper. I subsequently ran out of things like shampoo and cleanser - got no help from the 800 # . I wanted to see what a gift box of perfumes contained before I purchased it and not only did they not have one open for people to view, they refused to open one so I could see what was inside (it included accessories in addition to the perfumes). Came here to get my brows done and exchange an item. When I arrived there was no one at the benefit brow bar and I stood around for 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before I ventured to find an employee to assist me. They told me the person doing who would be doing my brows was cutting hair and that it would be a few minutes. I said no problem I'll go exchange my item while I wait. The exchange took 10 minutes because only one person was behind the register working while the other employees and the manager stood around. Once that was done, I walked back to the brow bar. Stood there again for 10 minutes until I was waived back to the salon. I was prompted to sit in one of those hair washing chairs in the back and got my eyebrows done in all of 3 minutes. At that point it had been 40 minutes since my scheduled appointment time so I actually appreciated the quickness, the whole point of the price is that you do it at the benefit brow bar and they take time to walk you through your brows and best practices. Afterwards, it took them 10 minutes to print the ticket, then another 10 for me to wait in line again to pay. At that point the manager was right there and I just made her check me out. My brows turned out fine, but I could've saved a lot of time and paid half the price at any hair or nail salon. read more

This is one of the WORST Ulta's ever. You would think it would be nice considering where it is. The staff is never around, and when you ask for help locating something and they don't have it, they will try to sell you something 10x more expensive. Plus when there are gifts that go with a purchase, they either never tell you, or they're out of them. And that's on the same day!! I've been to Utla's from here to Ct. I had an appointment at 10:45am, for a blow out and style. At 11:05a I asked how much longer I wound need to wait as I had a wedding to go to. I was then told Simone would take me now (20 minutes late). Well let me tell you this was the WORST experience I have ever had! She sat me in the chair to get washed and proceeded to use cold water which she got all over me (I had more water in my ear than on my hair) threw some shampoo in my hair and no conditioner. She was so rough and clearly angry (apparently HER being 20 minutes late for my appointment was my fault). I then sat in her chair, she said NOTHING to me at all. Brushed my hair ripping out half of it!. Blew dry using such high heat I swear she burned me. Not 15 minutes later she put down the hair dry and walked to the desk, printed a ticket and handed it to me and walked away. So I guess she was done, leaving me to look like I stuck my finger in a light socket. I was so angry I asked to speak to a manager. Well after waiting another 5 minutes the manager apologized and said I didn't have to pay the $40 - well right, I would not have paid 4 cents for the abuse I just endured! This was single handedly the worst experience I have ever had! This women should NOT be working with people - she was an angry, unpleasant person not to mention a really bad stylist! I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN ULTA FOXBOR AGAIN! read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. First of all, I NEVER write reviews. I don't have the time or energy and I simply don't care enough to take the time to write one BUT this haircut was SO BAD, I feel compelled to warn people about this place! The hair stylist's name was Maria and she's actually the salon manager. I know this because I saw her business card with her title on it as I was getting the cut. You would think that being the manager, she would be somewhat good at her job or at least professional, but that was not the case at all. The first thing that happened was she was late and I had to walk around the store for 15 minutes waiting for her but I'm not a diva so that really wasn't a huge deal for me. I just had somewhere to be at 1pm that day so it was a little annoying. Secondly I requested the signature cut which involves a deep conditioning treatment. Since she was late, we couldn't do that so I got a normal cut. I showed her a picture and it was a simple long bob (nothing spectacular). I've had this cut a few times before so I know what to expect. We went over the length I wanted and she said she would not make it too short. She lied. Midway through the cut, she gets a phone call and drops everything to take the call. She acted as if it was a life or death call but it was only a call regarding inventory which someone could have taken a message and she could have just returned the call. The reason this pissed me off was when she returned she forgot where she left off and kept cutting. And to this day I can still see the exact place on the right side of my head where she screwed up! Everyone knows what a bob looks like but I walked out of there with one side of my hair curled into my face and the other side of my hair curling the opposite direction AND it was not a LONG bob as I requested, it was short! On top of that, they charged me for the signature cut with the deep conditioning treatment which I did not get! I had to go and have them change it which took awhile on the register and I had somewhere to be at 1pm! She also asked me if I wanted some product in my hair and I said "sure" but then she put NO product in my hair. I don't even know why she asked me. I will never go back there and I strongly recommend against going there for a haircut. read more

This review is for the hair salon they have at Ulta Foxboro. At first, I was a little weary of getting my hair done at Ulta as I had never even knew they had a salon in there! But after my friend recommended me to the hair stylist Stephanie, I was so glad I made an appointment. She is an absolute sweetheart and a fabulous hairdresser. I have gotten my hair both cut and colored with her and I am so happy with the results. Most recently she did the balayage technique on my hair and I am so impressed! I first started going to Ulta when I looked at their prices and saw how reasonable they were. Rude. I've never gotten services done here but I stop in for beauty products now and then. The last time I was there the customer service was horrible to non-existent. No one asked if I needed help finding anything. When I asked an associate where an item was (an item that the website said was in stock and after searching the store by myself) I was rudely told it was on the other side of the store. Ok... well it wasn't. Not in stock. So a different sales associate sold me a "comparable" item, which cost almost 3 times as much as the item I was looking for. Never again. read more

Ulta is my go to CVS/Walgreens meets Sephora! This location is convenient next to Trader Joe's and has high end brands such as Clinique, Urban Decay, Too Faced but also has your drugstore lines such as Maybelline, L'Oreal, and Cover Girl. The best thing about Ulta is that the sale section has great finds from all the lines and even nail polishes such as OPI, Nicole, Essie, etc! You can also find hair & skin products here as well.
