This is CVS, the store for health they say. It has medicine, band aids and all stuff for you. The problem is they have unhealthy foods. Then their prices are out of this world! Some snacks from other places cost $2.99 while CVS would be $3.99. I usually go there to buy candy or gum. It is pretty close to the middle of town where most people are. The parking lot is not that big but there are also not a lot of people that go there. If you don't like talking with other people, this place is your friend. It is small so it is easy to find things and then there are two self registers with even one that takes cash. I rate this place a 4.5 and would go there for a while until I move away. read more

I've been trying to fill a prescription for two weeks. I selected them to contact my Doc for a refill. I followed up online, and my acct said it was approved. I never heard from CVS, and I can no longer speak to a pharmacist because of their new automated phone system. So I drove there, only to be told it's no longer covered, and I need a new prescription. My Doc did that, and CVS site said prescribed, 3 refills left, so I went to pick it up, only to be told it wasn't filled because it's not covered. No communication regarding this...So now I call Medicare. The first med is in fact covered. CVS lied to Medicare and said Doc never prescribed. He prescribed the second one too, but the generic isn't covered...he didn't prescribe the generic. I'm now switching pharmacies. This not the first time I've had probs getting meds at CVS, and one time it was critical! We had to go back to the hospital to get meds after I had surgery. Goodbye CVS! read more

I asked about a 30% price variance between a posted sign and what showed on the (photo) screen. I got a condescending reply, attitude and a lie. Was told it was "tax". Said tax is not 33% in Mass. The female pharmacist at this location actually refused to fill a prescription from my physician because she thought the dose was too small. What?? The dosing was small but for a reason. Tried to explain it to her. She still wouldn't fill it. The doctors assistant called and spoke with her, she still wouldn't fill the prescription. I cannot believe a pharmacist is allowed to make medical decisions for a patient she doesn't know. I will be filing a formal complaint about her and transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for probably 20 years out of convenience. i live in Holliston. Over the past couple of years I have notice just short of rude behavior with a couple of pharmacy staff including the pharmacist. The exact opposite has been the case with the cashier staff in the front of the store. Taking both situations into consideration, I wonder if it isn't the management mindset of the pharmacist. So unbelievably incompetent and insensitive to senior needs. Each time my geriatic, immuno-compromised mother has tried to get a covid shot at this place they have turned her away without offering to help in any way. The first time she had an appointment early in covid and they refused to give it to her because she didn't check off the correct box. Then today she and my father went to get a covid shot because they cannot navigate the online sign up and they were simply turned away without any offer to help them sign up for a shot. The are also constantly running out of their medications. I mean, these people should be trained to help seniors not thwart seniors. This is consistently the most icompetent CVS of any CVS we or other drugstore we have gone to. read more

I made a quick stop at CVS for some water before heading home. Parking is a bit of a hassle at this location. The parking lot is extremely small, I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a parking spot. After the parking dilemma was over and done with I walked into CVS. The store itself wasn't full; it was their pharmacy that had a huge line. I found my water and wondered through the store. While walking the isles, I found some very cool gadgets at reasonable prices. The store was clean and had friendly employees stocking the shelves. The cashier was also great, friendly and attentive. This is by far the most unprofessional pharmacy staff I have even had the misfortune of encountering. The pharmacy staff are routinely rude and unfriendly. They are also extremely incompetent. I had to go back twice because they did not put the right number of pills in the bottles. Then this week they kept telling me the renewal I was waiting for was out of stock, only to find out today after a week that it was there all along but a pharmacist didn't log it in and put it on the wrong shelf. Then when I went to pick it up I had to wait over a half hour for them to process it, all while being treated rudely and unprofessionally by the pharmacist at the register. I can be very patient and understanding when the store is busy and the staff is overwhelmed, but rudeness, incompetence and unprofessional behavior should never have to be tolerated. They have lost this long-time customer and I would recommend anyone to steer as far away from this pharmacy as possible. read more

Yeah, not my favorite CVS. I visit CVS often, and normally different ones (as I live near multiple locations). This is by far the smallest CVS I have ever been to, as well as it has the smallest parking lot EVER. So first, I walk in and the stench of this store was gross, which I will not describe, other than just gross and terrible. A complete first turnoff. Next turnoff, cashier staring at me like I'm supposed to know exactly where everything is. And another turnoff, the store is extremely old-styled, unlike nearby Ashland, Millis & Medway CVS stores (and every other CVS I've been to). Also, did I mention the 10 foot parking lot. It's tiny and super weird, super dangerous backing up into Central Street traffic from the front side. I was happy another staff member offered to and was able to help me find an item I couldn't locate (not the same one as at the register, she was annoying!). Also, keep in mind, the freezers in the back are not with any other the other food, which confused me completely. Plus the aisles were very tight and there was a long line at the pharmacy, clogging up the entire back aisles as well as the Halloween aisle. Only other redeeming factor is that there is a mailbox in the parking lot as well as they had a discontinued item I had been looking for, which made the day. Overall, 3 stars. If you can, go to the Medway, Millis or Ashland CVS store though, they are all much better. read more

Once again I live next to the local CVS. The workers can be sometimes in an ok mood and they help you and you're on your way. This past experience however left me leaving the store with a smile on my face and a great attitude. The cashier was extremely nice, but not in a creepy way. She asked us how our day was and what we did and we had an actual conversation with her. Because there was no one behind us we didn't have to be quick. We recommend an area to her to visit and we simply just had a great time. I have to say this was one of my favorite experiences that I have had at the store and it made my day. Be careful with this pharmacy. Last week I realized that they forgot to compound my infant son's medication. Apparently we'd been giving our baby the diluting liquid (sugar syrup) with no medication in it for a week. (We figured it out when we noticed the bottle with the actual medication was still sealed and full of powder.) When I called them about it, the head pharmacist apologized profusely and said he would look into it. I hope he does--he sounded sincere--but in the meantime, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else, especially if your meds are even slightly complex. read more

Happy to have a store so close. People who are moaning about the parking lot, wait lines etc are the reason all the mom and pop pharmacy's have been killed off. The people who want everything perfect, want it right now and need to have Mrs. Sally from Romper room and Mr. Rogers be the wait and greeting staff should probably get more coddling at home. Are a couple of the ladies behind the pharmacy counter less than "warm and fuzzy" Yep. Are some of the women there happily awesome? Yup. Does the store have everything you ever wanted and a heated parking lot with a valet squad and a cop stopping traffic to let you leave the parking lot without using you wits? NOPE! Is it an excellent spot to get medicine and some other stuff without driving far? Yup. I only wish it was not a corporate store but actually owned and operated by a Holliston citizen where the owner was in there often, but then I am a dreamer and like old time stuff. The parking lot is very small. The last time I stopped there (Jan 2012) for just 2 items, I was overcharged on one. It was a real hassle to get my money back. Good thing I paid with cash vs. my debit card. I had nothing but problems with their pharmacy every month . I needed a specific brand name on a prescription. They always said they had it in stock. When I went by to pick it up, I was told to they didn't have enough in stock and I would have to come back later for the balance of it. Return trip, more gas, trying to park in the small lot. A few months ago I switched my prescription to the new Medway CVS and have not had one issue. If it is not in stock they call me when it comes in. No return trips. And the Medway store is bigger. Parking lot is bigger. And overall the employees & pharmacists are very well informed and friendly! read more

I was reviewing some of the other complaints about this location and I'd agree that the parking is typically difficult but not the employees fault. The line for the pharmacy is always long but more so the customer service behind the pharmacy counter is atrocious! So much that I'd rather drive an extra 5 minutes to use Rite Aid. Every month I go in and leave annoyed with how rude or unfriendly they are. Not sometimes. EVERYTIME! This month I went back to Rite Aid and the woman said "I see you haven't filled with us in a while" so I tell her we had moved and CVS was closer but I just can't deal with this location anymore because ...and she finishes my sentence for me and says "so rude!" And I simply replied yes. My advice is to completely turn over the staff or spend some quality time retraining in customer service. Just because you've worked someplace for a long time doesn't give you entitlement. Rite Aid knows me by name. They see my face monthly. Their friendly, they acknowledge your presence and are always helpful and kind. Take a lesson from your competitor! read more
