I don't usually shop at Wal-greens because I think they are pricey but after my recent experience I won't always drive by them as I had.
I had a small calendar made for a friend and the pages were sticking together and it was too tight to flip from month to month. It was only then that I realized they have a 100% Satisfaction guarantee which I thought was great. I didn't want my money back but instead I wanted it fixed. Let me stop to say, each time I have gone in it was always for photo work and 100% of the time the employees were kind and helpful. So much so, that I felt they truly valued my business and were happy I shopped there.
Anyway, when I went in, Bradly appeared to be in a store leadership role but he was working the counter. He was friendly and explained how the photos may bend due to the tightness of the paper roll that they are printed on. Bradly took my photo's out of the desk calendar and made up a gadget to try to bend the photos so they appeared more flat. All this while working the register. He then worked to manually make the spiral binder coils fit a little better. I was super impressed with his professionalism and helpfulness and he didn't have to do this but he openly wanted ot help.
You know, sometimes its ok to pay a "little more" for good service. I plan to shop more at Wal-greens........its in my neighborhood :) read more
