I turned away, took 3 steps toward the door but still is close eye sight of that clerk, then realized that the home test purchased was Covid only. I turned and approached that clerk, handed him that purchased test kit for exchange, and was directed to the rear of the store to the pharmacy where I found the 3 in 1 test kit. When I returned to pay the balance in that exchange ( about $2), the clerk discovered that the prior mistaken kit couldn't be returned or exchanged. He called the store manager. Both of us, the clerk and I, told her the mistake and that I had never left the store or the clerk's sight. I literally had the mistaken purchase for just 30 seconds in my hand. She adamantly refused to assist in correcting the mistake or refunding my money. She claimed "the CVS system will not allow it. There is nothing I can do." I purchased the second and correct test kit. My wife tested POSITIVE for influenza A. I won't be going back to any CVS if a soulless computer runs all customer service.

I didn't hear back for weeks and stopped by a few times to inquire about possible delays and was given different information by every employee I spoke with. I was finally able to speak with an associate on the phone who was extremely helpful and worked hard to inquire what happened to my photos. It turns out that the bag was not sealed and showed up to the photo facility empty. I'm very appreciative of her hard work getting to the bottom of what happened, but frustrated because my photos were lost due to an issue that I asked another employee about and was told would not be an issue. At this point I know there isn't anything that can be done, but I hope this prevents this loss from happening to anyone else, as these photos can never be replaced.

They then told me they couldn't service me because they were closed for lunch from 1:30-2pm. I told them I had been standing there for 3 minutes and I would appreciate it if they could get me my medications as I didn't want to wait a half hour. They then responded that they just didn't see me and that their registers were closed, yet no one had gone to the registers to close them during the time I was standing there. They were very unhelpful and I ended up leaving the store without my medication.

Doctor called in medicine two days ago...took us that long to get the medicine because the pharmacy closes earlier than when we get off from work. When I arrived, they were not busy but it took them 7 minutes to even address me. When they finally did they told me my medicine wasn't ready. Telling me I needed an override. I explained the circumstances that the medicine (eye drops) were misplaced which is why the doctor's office called it in again. Instead of being helpful, they told me to call my insurance myself to get an override. That makes no sense since I've worked in a pharmacy before. The PHARMACY can call the insurance to get an override especially if the doctor called in more than one Rx AND left notes as the reason for another Rx which my doctor's office did. Another gentleman came up to get a COVID test and the pharmacist acted like she had no clue where he could get one and told him to go to the front of the store. His response was, no one was at the front which I can confirm because when I walked in, didn't see anyone either. The parking is horrible for this location. If I can help it, based on the service received, I will NEVER come back here.

When I called today to check in the status of our medications, the pharmacy tech said as of 2025, Walgreens no longer accepts our secondary insurance! Would've been nice to get that information before March! Also, according to their website, Walgreens does accept our secondary insurance, which makes sense bec they've process rx for many months in 2025 for our family.
