I needed to purchase some Magnesium but I wasn't sure the actual type of Magnesium. I really didn't know that there were specific types. The employee behind the counter gave me a list of the various types of Magnesium so I took that list to figure out what I needed exactly. I was told that they have a whole range of Magnesium. So I did a little bit of research and came back about an hour later. The same friendly pharmacist was still there. She gave me advice about the Magnesium Citrate and how this can help my digestive tract. She also advised me about potential complications which was very helpful. I like the vibe here and it seems that they carry all of the medications as any other big box pharmacy chain.

The self-checkout area is a masterclass in frustration. There aren't enough lanes, the systems look like they were installed sometime during the Bush administration, and half of them are usually "temporarily out of service" with paper bags draped over the screens like little brown tombstones. The line regularly stretches toward the back of the store, so forget "quick trip." The few seasoned employees who work that area really do try, but most of the self-checkout staff have perfected the art of standing nearby while being remarkably unhelpful. Prices, of course, are sky high--which might be easier to swallow if the place didn't feel so out of control. Shoplifting is clearly a sport here; you can literally watch people grab cases of beer and stroll right out the door. Handheld baskets are scarce because those walk out too. Outside, the loading dock area frequently smells putrid, and the seating area that's supposed to be for paying customers is often taken over by loiterers and left dirty and uninviting. It's not exactly the relaxing neighborhood grocery vibe they're going for. And then there's the parking garage. The lighting is dim enough that you half expect a crime drama to be filming in the corner. It feels dingy, not safe or welcoming, and the escalators from the garage to the store are out of service so often they might as well be decorative art pieces. For a grocery store in the heart of Old Town, this place should feel clean, secure, and well-managed. Instead, it's giving "municipal chaos with luxury pricing."

I didn't hear back for weeks and stopped by a few times to inquire about possible delays and was given different information by every employee I spoke with. I was finally able to speak with an associate on the phone who was extremely helpful and worked hard to inquire what happened to my photos. It turns out that the bag was not sealed and showed up to the photo facility empty. I'm very appreciative of her hard work getting to the bottom of what happened, but frustrated because my photos were lost due to an issue that I asked another employee about and was told would not be an issue. At this point I know there isn't anything that can be done, but I hope this prevents this loss from happening to anyone else, as these photos can never be replaced.

Every time I go to pick up necessary prescriptions, they mess something up. The techs are all incredibly rude, and I have seen one woman there make multiple people cry as a result of her attitude. The pharmacist, Vela, is terrible at her job. The pharmacy constantly mixes up prescriptions, says they are ready then are confused why you are there to pick up prescriptions, and fill prescriptions without notice when they are not on auto fill. This has caused many problems, as they refuse to fill them when they are actioned, because they secretly filled it without notice. These people hurt people. They don't care that they hurt people. They lie about actions. They make sick and old customers cry. These people should lose their license. While I will not be returning, I will be reporting these people for the good for others. Whatever you do, go anywhere else.

Self checkout seemed to be the way to go here as it was not busy during my visit, and I really don't remember anyone at the other registers. Then that is when something had to go wrong. I scan all my items, put in my reward information, and then the register said I didn't bag an item. I can assure you I did put it in the bagging area robotic ma'am, but you just did not register it. Then I had to wait for the sole employee to make his way to me. I am very much an introvert, and I hate when I am being forced to talk with someone, so this was unneeded for me. As soon as he scanned his badge and got me going, I was on my way.
