If you are management, I would suggest giving the job to the chick who was actually assisting. In order: 1. In and out of this location anytime of day is troublesome. 2. The Pharmacy - like all other Walgreens this one is plagued by an overwhelming number of customers. Two cashiers in the area is unacceptable at peak times inside. The drive-in is problematic at best with the slowest workers who have to ask others how to do things. Walgreens was a flagship operation across the country a few years ago, but nothing special now. I'm coming to the conclusion mail ordering would work best if youcan plan ahead. read more

Broke down BUST! Girl below must be hallucinating. Derelict store exterior not repaired since the last fierce building fire. Items all over the floor in the isles. No employees visible. Way too bright lights inside! Sticky, spittled counters. Drugs, pills, trash, prescriptions, cans and bags in a bummed out lot: broken-jack trash receptacle spewing its contents to the neighborhood. This review is for the lousy service received from the pharmacy. We had a prescription called in at 8am in the morning. Went over at 11am - did not pick up messages (wasted trip). We then called in at 1pm no such luck either plus the pharmacist is off to lunch. Went into the store in the afternoon and the pharmacist was not happy that we spoke to the manager about the lack of service. This is the second time using your pharmacy and the last. As for other locations in Lorton all we have is the CVS and their voicemail was full so you can't even leave an order. Walgreens please look into improving your service to your community. read more

I stopped in here on 5-21-2022 for a few items. Quick to enter and exit. No hindrances. A bit of trash swirling in the parking lot, which I didn't appreciate, but otherwise clean inside. This review is specifically regarding the pharmacy. I've been coming here at least monthly to pick up prescriptions for a year now. The team here is INCREDIBLY short staffed. Long lines, long wait times, regardless of what time of day you go at, or whether you use the drive-thru or go inside, and long waits if you call on the phone as well. There is one staff member in particular I always try to avoid (she is incredibly slow, gets annoyed if you ask questions, complains about the other staff, and generally always seems unhappy--50s-ish white lady). Fortunately all the other staff are very professional and helpful, and manage to be friendly even when they seem stressed, and they are the reason this place gets two stars instead of one, but there are never enough of them available. I also get the sense that the lack of personnel is exacerbated by disorganization behind the scenes. Walgreens is a $27 BILLION corporation...get the staff at this location some additional support!!! read more

I would like to start or by saying that every single time I have come to this Walgreens I have had a wonderful experience. They customer service is typically very nice but there is one customer service cashier or I'm not sure what you called them... anyways her name is "Bernice" and let me tell you it sure feels really nice to be treated and helped by her. She is very sweet and attentive! Don't get me wrong the other employees are nice too, but Bernice attitude towards customer service is immaculate and that's why I keep coming back because it's awesome to be treated friendly and kind from the 1 footstep in the store to the last! The ladies room toilet seat has been half attached and the paper towel dispenser has been broken for years. No one cares about the state of the restrooms as they look largely neglected and filthy. I only use their bathrooms out of sheer desperation because it's disgusting. On my most recent visit, I was in the mood for macaroni and cheese. So, I chose Cracker Barrel white cheddar. On the shelf, there were three boxes. The first two looked run over or stomped on with mangles boxes and one had split enough for two noodles to be wedged into the perforation in the cardboard. The last box looked much better, so I bought it. Only when I got home and started to look for the cooking instructions did I notice that it was 5 months out of date. Obviously, Walgreen's (at least at this location) is NOT in the habit of checking expiration dates to keep their customers safe. So, we need to do that work ourselves. Never again will I blindly trust that what I buy here is safe, in date, and suitable for human consumption. I was so grossed out! While I was in line to check out, there were at least 3 people in line behind me and another customer was waiting for a passport photo. Not once did it cross any staff member's mind to open another register or call for backup. Usually, they are better about customer service. The main reason I keep coming back to this mediocre location is that it is super close to my house and extremely convenient to stop at on my way home from work. read more

This review is only for the pharmacy of Walgreens. The single star is for the Walgreens in general, everyone I've experienced outside the pharmacy is delightful and helpful. Initially I loved filling prescriptions at this pharmacy. It had two redeeming qualities that I appreciate when running errands: proximity to my house and a drive thru pharmacy. However, in the past 6+ months the quality of service has dramatically declined that I am now searching for a new pharmacy. I have to fill a prescription every month and on average have to wait at least 20 minutes just to fill a prescription and at least 40-60 minutes to receive the prescription. I no longer even use the drive thru option because it takes twice as long to use it. My ultimate advice would be to use a different pharmacy unless you're in the mood for frustration and annoyance. read more

I attempted to get a flu shot as a walk in, due to the sign out front which said, 'flu shots-walk ins welcome'. I was told the sign was provided to all stores and that I needed to make an appointment yo get a flu shot at a Walgreens. Walgreens in Lorton. (the store, is a great place to shop, however, the PHARMACY needs huge improvements in efficiency. The wait time in the store and in the drive thru is extremely long. You can never walk in and out to get prescriptions that are already filled. There is never enough staff working in the pharmacy and they always seemed overwhelmed. I implore Walgreens to consider their pharmacy customers, as LONG wait times have become unbearable. read more

Smart and speedy service at the pharmacy. I hadn't normally filled my prescriptions here but from now on I will. The first time I brought my prescription here they caught and communicated to me that the pharmacy (another branch) that was filling my script before was filling it wrong (and my doctor confirmed). I came to this Walgreens Pharmacy when it first opened and encountered a pharmacist so rude that I never came back. However, after Walgreens bought and closed the Rite Ajd across the street they took over Rite Aid's prescriptions so I was left without a choice. Although the attitudes of the pharmacy staff has improved this is the slowest pharmacy in America. The overcrowding from the merger with Rite Aid has resulted in the fact that you can't pick up your prescription without at least a 30 minute wait even if you refill and prepay for your prescription ahead of time. read more

Walgreens is awesome! They have a fantastic frequent shopper program. This is an interesting store - it has a weird layout. It feels a little warehouse(y) - its not bad, just an observation. The cashier was friendly - I actually caused her line to get backed up with my unpreparedness. I felt bad but she was calm and cool. This is the only Walgreens close to me that has a personal shopper service. You order and pay online and you can pick up your order at the store. How fantastic is that? I give this store 4.5 but I round up, cause that is how I roll! So 5 stars! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They lost my COVID test - sort of a big deal! - and had no idea what to do about it. Just never made it into the bin for shipping to the lab! The staff is also rude and unaware. Everyone passes the buck to someone else. Store is also dirty and poorly stocked. Last time I go to this horrid store EVER. Drive to Springfield or Woodbridge. Any Walgreens I walk into never disappoints me. I really like that it's always clean and orderly (unlike rite aid and some CVS). The service is also always a cut above. This Walgreens Pharmacy is one of the best I've used. Currently I'm being treated for a chronic illness and therefore require many medications. I transferred my scripts from another pharmacy and this place has been wonderful. They are very friendly, helpful, quick, efficient, knowledgeable, convenient and the store is very clean. Crazy to think - but they actually follow through w what they say they will do and communicate effectively (unlike some others nearby). There is a convenient drive thru and you can sign up to be notified for when your script is ready. These guys are worth it, you won't be disappointed. read more

Cashiers and Manager are super friendly and helpful. The manager does not hesitate to jump in and help his staff. He once walked me over to an aisle when I told him he could just point and I'll find it. Not only did he show me where it was, he even recThe pharmacy staff are great as well. I noticed they have been slower then usual with filling prescriptions but then was informed from a convo with a cashier that they acquired all of Rite Aid's pharmacy customers and the transition has been a bit chaotic, so it's understandable. I am sure once they adjust, things will be back to normal. They won't lose me as a customer because I refuse to go back to CVS, which was the only other option. read more

This review is for the Walgreens on 9373 Richmond Hwy, Lorton VA . Be nice to all customers and share the same information with all. I shopped there from time to time, but had not used the pharmacy until my old pharmacy went out of business and transferred their accounts to this pharmacy. A few weeks ago, I went to fill a prescription in the afternoon. I went to the counter where two techs worked and there was no clear line. I was told about 15-20 minutes of waiting time. I waited for 15, 20, 25 minutes as I saw customer after customer come to the pharmacy and get help. After 37-40 minutes, I went to the counter, and a woman said someone had called over the PA which was not true. I recently turned in a prescription and waited for my order. A few customers had come and gone. It was not busy. The female tech, who said her name was Hussan helped me about 20 minutes later (which was fine). When I got to her at the register, she was impatient. I had questions, but she snapped. All she wanted was to get me to hit my phone number in to complete the order. I had been contacted by Walgreens about new orders, and wanted to verify what prescriptions were being filled (today's or old ones). She ignored my first questions and had a rude tone. I told her, and she denied it. As I was shopping, I asked a staff member if they had hand sanitizer, and he helped me, and showed me they had none (coronavirus in news, so it's in demand). He said the store was ordering some. A few minutes later, I was shopping and heard a woman ask about hand sanitizer, and a different staffer told her to come there at 1pm for the delivery, and also said he had told about 60 other people. Why is helpful information only given out to certain people? I was told they're ordering why another customer got the specifics. I've shopped at Walgreens for years. read more

I have never experienced any issues with the ship to store purchases I have made online.
