When my daughter picked out a wig to try on, we were told we had to buy a wig cap for $1.09 (which we did, giving them a dollar). While we understood the policy, what was uncomfortable was how this woman continued to stand right next to us the entire time, watching every move as if we were going to steal something. It was humiliating and made both of us feel unwelcome. We were treated with suspicion for simply shopping -- something no customer should experience. I expected. One stylist started preparing for the eyebrow service, but the receptionist stopped her and said another employee would do it. Then we waited another 15 minutes with no one coming. Eventually, the hairstylist became concerned about how long the color had been sitting and immediately washed it out. After the appointment, there was significant scalp itching and irritation. The eyebrow service was also disappointing. I specifically asked for a soft, natural lamination because the eyebrows looked very dark, boxy, and bulky. I was reassured they would soften once dry, but the final result still looked bulky and didn't even look properly laminated. The billing was another issue. The $99 eyebrow package included lamination, tint, and shaping, but an additional $29 waxing charge was initially added. I questioned it and showed them the service description, yet I was still told it was separate. Another salon employee later confirmed that the additional charge should not have been added, and it was finally corrected. I also tried to bring a simple online-booking issue to the manager's attention. Instead of listening to the concern, I felt immediately dismissed and was told it wasn't an issue because nobody else had complained about it. The final result is nothing short of a disaster: Asymmetry & Messy Parting: One side is braided over and the other under. The parts are completely unclean, and the lines look sloppy and rushed. Amateur Workmanship: The back features four messy rows and three weave braids in the front that look as though a teenager was practicing on my head rather than a professional stylist. Complete Disregard for the Reference: It looks nothing like the clean, precise style I requested--it simply looks like she was tired and rushed through the job.
