Whether in the beauty area, pharmacy, or check out, every single staff member has gone out of their way to assist me in any way possible when needed. I just wanted to get my passport photo done which is a big deal for me and I wanted a nice picture for, and Alicia said I couldn't take more than 3 pictures and if that was a problem I could just leave. Ive had multiple pictures taken before at another walgreens & I even offered to PAY for each set of photos I took, which I find reasonable so I'm not wasting your time & I'm paying for a service. She got mad, irritated, or simply impatient for whatever reason -- the store was completely dead mind you -- and had another employee come take my picture and turned around and was mocking me and laughing with the other employee before giving the camera over. I would have paid for more pictures to get the perfect one, which is productivity and sales for them but I simply won't be coming back here again because their negativity ruined the excitement of getting my passport photo taken completely. read more

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. My husband and I visited the ER yesterday and drove around town trying to find a pharmacy that would be able to fill his prescription within 24 hours. The only pharmacy that said it would be ready within 24 hours was this one. I called the pharmacy this morning to ask what time I could come in to pick up the prescription. The woman on the phone said that the prescription wouldn't be ready for another couple of days. I said that I wish we had been told that yesterday and the woman said that I was a liar. She claimed no one in the pharmacy had said that the prescription could be filled in 24 hours and that I should have known this. The pharmacy staff here are rude and unprofessional. Rather than owning up to their mistake, they would rather blame the customers for taking their staff at their word. If you need a prescription filled (emergency or not), I highly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I needed several things but they were out of some of the shampoo's I needed and I also needed Band-aids and they didn't have the bandaids that I needed which are the silicone type. It's very quiet in here but yet the people here are very nice and it does have potential. Also the store is tidy and clean which I really like they have very "nice fragrances if you need some, they have some here but they are locked up so there's reasons for security reasons, that is. They always approach you and ask you if you need help finding your items which is a plus. Store is orderly, but some items are hard to find since they move products. One is when I needed to check out, the prices are not in the register even though they have the sale items with a sale price tagged. So they do not check regularly. You have to let them know and a screen shot of sale items on the floor to prove it on sale. Pharmacist very helpful and knowledgable on medications. Good deals throughout store!! Checkout the dairy including Blue Bell ice cream!! Plenty of parking and drive through window at the Pharmacy. Treats for dogs and even when your checking out they even give a treats to your dog companion.!! read more

went there for a meningitis vaccine, last had one in 2017 and they asked me if i needed the B shot or the Booster. I had no clue, seeing as how i'm not a doctor. The woman working there practically screamed at me to call my mom and find out... she isn't a doctor either. I decided to just leave, and when i got home I googled it. I needed the booster. I got that answer with simple google research. The "doctor" should've been able to tell me what shot i needed based off my shot history. read more

The pharmacy service here is atrocious. You can be sitting in the drive thru and not one employee or pharmacist will acknowledge you. They'll let you sit there for fifteen minutes without a word. They will come to the window helping the customers on the inside but still won't acknowledge you. Other pharmacies will let you know that they'll be with you. Working for a pharmacy in the past, this would not be acceptable. I can understand it's busy but not the way you handle the drive thru. Also, doctor called in a script, they needed clarification but never called the doctor back so didn't fill it until we called and asked about it. Honestly, go somewhere else. read more

I am now ready to take our business elsewhere. We have been using the Walgreens close to Randalls by Lohmans Crossing for 2 years now and the wait times to get meds, the wait time on the phone and especially the fact that they never have things in stock when needed have finally just put us over the edge! I was diagnosed with a blood disorder and have a pretty specific medication routine. I am on auto refill but I always call about 3-4 days ahead of time just to make sure they have everything in stock. well, I have been waiting since January 1st for 3 of the meds as they are 'out of stock' and 2 of them were cancelled by the pharmacy. I have left a message for my doctors so I can get a back up written prescription as a just in case I need to go to a different pharmacy but the holidays have made that difficult. I also have screen shots from today's multiple attempts to talk to someone about all of this...2 calls being on hold for almost 30 minutes a piece just waiting and then one that lasted 12 minutes that started at 1:20.....it wasn't until the on hold music stopped that I was advised at 1:43 that the announcement changed and that they were at lunch and would be returning at 2;00. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They are always slow. They are often closed during hours that they shouldn't be. They overcharge more than most pharmacies. Last time I went they gave me someone else's adderall prescription by accident instead my own medication. Just an absolute joke of a pharmacy. If I worked at Walgreens corporate, I'd get rid of this pharmacist. Just the worst. read more

I'm pregnant and this is my local Walgreens that I always go to for photo services and general drug store needs. Tonight February 16th at about 10:30 I stopped here on my way home from work to rest for a few minutes as I was feeling sick. Not even 5 minutes later as I sat in my car minding my own business a woman came knocking on my window saying that they were closed and it was illegal for me to be "loitering" in the parking lot. She then proceeded to stalk me in her own car (which I'm pretty sure had other people in it) and made me feel so extremely fearful / uncomfortable that I had no choice but to leave despite not feeling as though I was ready to drive again. Sad that I chose Walgreens thinking it'd be my safest option. That woman should be ashamed of herself for harassing *any* woman for sitting alone in their car and doing absolutely nothing wrong. I'll never give this location my business again. read more

This location deserves more than 5 stars. First, we have used the in-store lab and the tech is always so friendly and great service. Then today we had to get medicine for my child and we were trying to get to Walgreens ASAP before they closed.... we were at light and we're going to be a minute or so late, so I called the Pharmacist and asked if she could please wait.... she said "sure no problem I will wait," and she did. If it wasn't urgent we wouldn't have asked since it's Christmas Eve... but she went above and beyond and was so friendly waiting on us. Thank you to the Pharmacist and staff! read more

Very bad service. Can't believe fedex is parterning with such third rate stores with no idea about customer service! I had to post important documents and they didn't have envelope to post it. The rep told he is not sure if documents would be safe to post even! Fedex has NO full service store in Lakeway/TX 71 Hwy area while has UPS has 5/6 stores. What a shame! read more

After having numerous horrendously bad experiences with CVS in the Target in Bee Cave, I decided to go back to my "home towns" drug store, Walgreens. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The store is EXTREMELY well stocked, very clean and easy to find things. The pharmacy staff is very courteous as well. My only complaint is the wait time for checking out and the long lines at the drug counter. I think this issue could be solved with the addition of more staff during peak times read more

Pharmacy needs more help. They are very slow. There is always a long wait inside and at the drive-thru. I've been told a prescription is ready to be picked up, after waiting 45 minutes on drive-thru line, I'm told it was never filled because they are out of stock. I had to wait a week before medicine was in stock. I should have received a phone call from the pharmacy letting me know it was out of stock and it would take a week to come in. Love the ease these folks make getting prescriptions filled and delivered! They are wonderful at letting me know when rx needs any additional info or just letting me know when they are ready. My mom lives close by and we have her meds delivered to her. Even when I had my credit card cancelled due to fraud, unrelated to Walgreen's, they were wonderful at updating my information on file so we would not have an interruption in service. Hard work is happening there and I appreciate the level of quality they deliver. read more

Loved the Walgreens by my old house but moved out to Lakeway and have had nothing but trouble with the pharmacy department there. Staff are not helpful and the standard answer to any question is "talk to your doctor. Nothing we can do." Pharmacists are not willing to even try to help in complicated situations. The absolute worst customer service at a pharmacy I've ever experienced. On multiple occasions I've waited in a 6 plus car line for 45 min! One car held the entire line up! My last attempt to pick up my RX I decided I would go inside. Once I was inside I saw the pharmacy employees saying curse words to each other about a customer. I completely understand the stress of being in the medical industry especially at the beginning of the year with new insurance plans but there is no excuse to say inappropriate things about customers in front of other customers. If there is an issue with a customer in the car line they need to politely ask the customer to come inside so they can better serve them and attend to the line of cars waiting. This process is done inside so why not in the car line. Or maybe open the second drive through line ! It's not rocket science! I asked the employee that finally checked me out if she was aware there were about 6 or 7 cars in line outside and her response was "oh well , we don't care people will just have to deal with it." no sense of urgency at drive through. poor customer skills. everyone seems stressed. sent my last two prescriptions to a walgreens in new mexico. blamed it on my doctors office which was ridiculous. asked to speak to pharmacist. he was too busy. spoke to asst store manager who said she would have pharmacist call. never heard from him. sometimes takes 20 minutes or more to get through drive through. this location should go to nearby cvs to see how customer service should be. unfortunately, i am tied to walgreens due to my health insurance. read more

I was at this Walgreens last week and was very impressed that they had a table set up advertising that they prescribe pet medications in their pharmacy. With a a big sign "Dogs are Welcome Bring Your Dog Inside" with a barometer of how hot your car is per temperature outside. Thought I would share in case you find yourself needing to shop at Walgreens with your Pup in-tow. And the human customer service is always good here as well. read more

Went in to download some photos from my iPhone. The staff in the store was reorganizing inventory and behaved as if a customer was interfering with their "tasks". After finally getting minimal help from a grouchy woman in the photo department, it became apparent that I was bothering her unpacking and reorganizing. A co- worker nearby was equally rude not only to me but to other customers with questions. After three attempts and 45 minutes of unsuccessfully downloading my photos, I told the photo associate that I had never had trouble like this at other Walgreen locations. She asked me to give back the connecting cord which I did. No apology or referral to another location or call for a managers helped ever occurred. My plan was to buy several other items, but I walked out and went to the Walgreen's on Bee Cave Parkway. They were wonderful and I was out of there in 5 minutes! Great and friendly service were a welcome! Beware of the Walgreens near Randall's. I won't go back and I mentioned the rude treatment I had received to several other people that day. They thanked me for the heads up. That place has bad juju! Make the quick drive over to the Bee Cave Parkway location. One would think that customers at any pharmacy generally don't feel well. Well, we came in on Saturday to get pictures developed for a project for my daughter for Monday. They said they could get it done in minutes, had some technical difficulties and Said it would be another 20 min. Then with some more technical difficulties they said they needed more time but it would be minutes. We said no problem we can come Sunday to pick them up and they said it would def be done. After work on Sunday , I came by at 7pm and they said it will was having trouble. I asked them why they didn't call me they said "I don't know". Unreliable, unprofessional, and rude.
