It's a run of the mill Walgreens and it's very close to my house, so it's the reason I continue to come back. Sometimes lines move quickly; sometimes they don't. Almost everything under the sun (razorblades, certain expensive OTC medications, etc.) seems to be locked up requiring an employee to help you, and this is usually where I hit a snag. Sometimes it's easy to find someone and others I walk around like a chicken without a head. I haven't always received the best attitude from one of the female pharmacists, but who knows if she's even still there. I'm annoyed by their rewards system because, somewhere along the way, my husband and I both signed up separately with the same phone number and they can't just "merge" the two accounts. So we're never fully sure which one is racking up the points - mine or his - and we have to go through this whole song and dance to figure it out each time. The girl working the drive thru pharmacy window at 11am on 07/14/2015, does knot know what she is doing and is not intelligent enough to ask her supervisor. I get a script filled monthly, this place is near my work and I I also I also use the walgreens near my home. Today she tells me that since the address on my script is another walgreens that I cannot get it filled anywhere but the addresses walgreens. WRONG! I CALLED 3 OTHER WALGREENS AND THEY SAID SHE IS WRONG. The dr office only puts the address for their records incase they need to fax it to walgreens they have the infornation. But since I am PHYSICALLY dropping it off it does not matter. I even showed her that every few months I pick it up from her location and look in the system and you will see every script has another walgreens yet your location has filled. She then goes to give me her best reply which is to shrug her shoulders. Wow love the help read more

This may possibly be the worst pharmacy in Southern Nevada. I have never waited on hold so long to inquire about a simple refill, only to be disconnected after an hour or more on several occasions. I have never seen a drive thru so hopelessly backed up and unable to inch forward, only to go inside and find service within lacking any urgency. The staff do not seem to care. No one smiles. No one greets you warmly. Their lackadaisical shuffling from register to rack is uninspiring. We, as "consumers" (not patients), are simply expected to line up, wait patiently, say nothing of any inconvenience, and then go about our lives until our next batch of pills are necessary. Most disappointingly, I suspect that the persons working here are aware of the abysmal quality of their service. A young man once apologized to me, clearly having been yelled at by someone else, for what was a seemingly short wait. I had waited perhaps fifteen minutes for a prescription, so there was truly no inconvenience but I could sense sincere empathy from him. So if I'm not the one complaining on the regular, something must be fundamentally wrong with how this pharmacy is run, no? Hire more technicians? Train your existing ones better? I don't know, don't care, and after today, I will be taking my business elsewhere. You have absolutely no idea how some of your patients may be suffering and your treatment of them is callous and disrespectful. I feel sorry for anyone in this neighborhood that feels compelled to shop or refill a prescription at Walgreens due to "convenience." There are other options. read more

I actually enjoy going to this location, I mean sure the employee's don't look to thrilled to be there, but they have great deals, especially if you have a rewards card with Walgreens where you earn points and that turn in to cash to use toward purchases...ugh chyea that's awesome! read more

Came back on and said they did and to come down when ever I was ready. 15 mins later I come over and was told they can't do them because the camera is down. The store itself is fine, this review is meant for the pharmacy. I come here to get a couple of different prescriptions every month, and every month I find myself hating this place and having to come back here. With the exception of one really nice Asian gentleman in there (sorry dude, I forgot your name). Today while waiting in line for the drive through service, I pull in before they're closing time of 6pm. I'm the 3rd car in line and figure "ok, I should be fine." I couldn't leave my car and go inside because I had the dogs in there and didn't want to leave them in the sun to bake in the heat. Upon rolling up to the window for my turn, I notice that the technician had hurried to shut the blinds before I finished pulling up. I, of course voiced, "What the hell?" Techinician: I'm sorry ma'am but we close at 6pm Me: Well I'm sorry, and I know you'd like to go home but I've been in this line before that time and I'm the last person in line. Technician: Well I can't make the pharmacy re-open and I don't have the authority. Me: Well that's just rude. I'm the last person in line and my medication is ready, and again... I was here before the time. Technician: I'm sorry ma'am, there's nothing I can do. These people don't know or care what the medication for any patient is until they look it up but I assure you this is medication that is needed everyday (2 different pills) and the fact that no compassion was shown for a patient in need was just downright cruel and a million other choice words I can think of. This place is constantly showing me how I need to take my business elsewhere. Another example is the Walgreens text and phone call service that lets you know that your medication is ready. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten these notifications.... only to show up to be told, "It's not ready yet, but you're welcome to wait while I get it for you" WAIT.....WHAT?!?! I understand that things happen. I'm probably one of the people who can understand that the most, but C'MON WALGREENS! This location is beginning to be a joke, because at a certain point you just have to laugh at the situation. Today's experience was no laughing matter though and the way the technician chose to handle that was frustrating, upsetting, and unprofessional! I will never do business here again and I hope that if you are reading this, you won't waste your time by going to a place that will most likely upset you and let you down also. Pretty unorganized, I booked my 2nd COVID shot weeks ago. You think they would prepare for a appointment. Came here for my 1st shot... mind u I booked that weeks prior an they didn't even have the 1st dose... came today an the same thing like I booked my appointment they should already have it stock... and been prepared for my appointment.now I'm on the phone 20 mins trying to reach a pharmacist to see if that have the 2nd dose... like I'm glad I'm off today imagine if I wasn't an had my appointment at 930am... like come on Walgreens get it together.....if the windmill doesn't have it an I call the other stores I'm going to be on hold for 20 mins on each call till I find a store that has it... wow... so much for setting my appointments weeks in advance... now I may spend 1 hr or more trying to find a place... shit sakes........I'm already getting over a cold do you think I want to spend my morning looking for Dora... I go to this place a lot for small items. I have been here a few times for prescriptions and never really had any trouble. You can find some great deals from time to time on random items. Always a big fan of the clearance section. The store is very neat and tidy , always greeted when i walk in. There was one rude elderly woman but i think she got canned. All that aside it's good for a quick stop, if you don't like it you can take your business elsewhere. read more

It's pretty much your standard Walgreens. However, I think it deserves 4 stars because they carry what I need, and their pharmacy services is very efficient. They carry the things I usually buy at a Walgreens, cough medicine, candy, aspirin, greeting cards, etc. It's in a convenient location, since I use Stephanie & Horizon Ridge Pkwy a lot. Whenever I fill my prescription, it's always ready when promised. My last visit, they informed me that they were only able to fill a partial of my son's cough suppressant, and that they'll be getting more in. I was impressed that they contacted me promptly when they did. Fortunately, I had enough cough syrup to last me through my son's flu. I thought that was good and efficient on their part, nonetheless. Hopefully I won't be needing it anytime soon again, but I guess I'll have it ready. Thanks for the good service! read more

Second time they've messed up my very important (non narcotic) prescription. First they tell me I can't fill it, that it's too soon even though it's not and I've been filling it for years with no issues and then they make me suffer without for over a week to then apologize and say their mistake. So now this time they do the same but I call back and insist, they keep telling me no and then finally attempt to run it and say it went though (sooo why'd you say no for five minutes straight?) and then I check the status the following day and it says cancelled. So I call the nearest 24 hour pharmacy and the pharmacist tells me he can't transfer it because they already billed my insurance and then closed it out saying I never picked it up and that's why he can't transfer it and that's why my insurance won't cover it..because they already did. I'm so upset and so sick and now have to go spend god knows how long trying to explain this to them and get them to give me my medication. Pharmacies have become an absolute nightmare. They cancel prescriptions and don't tell you and do it for literally no reason and make you go without and cause all these complications with your insurance- all things you cannot fix on your own. I will never understand the power trip they have over people. They act like you're some sort of drug addict- I must be getting high off my non narcotic medications because why else would I be sooo desperate to have the medicine I need to function day to day, right? read more

Beshad, the pharmacy manager went out of her way for me last night. My doctor sent in an incomplete prescription and she made several calls before they closed to try and fix it. She gave me a one-day supply to get me through the night (blood thinner) and then called me first thing this morning to let me know she got it worked out and my prescription was ready. read more

Horrible pharmacy... I have the same prescriptions for the last year almost, and yet they always put a three day hold on them for the Drs approval!! Enjoy this pharmacy if you like receiving conflicting answers from three different pharmacy people. The guy who wears the rings and has a ponytail thinks he's god with your prescriptions and has an attitude like you've never dealt with... I'm done!!! Please make sure to do research on a business or to have a significant involvement to know what they are really about before you review because it is harmful to give false information to those looking for a safe Pharmacy live in San Diego and use Kaiser Pharmacy for my pharmaceutical needs. Was visiting my mom in Las Vegas, she had an emergency prescription that they made me wait in a 3 hour line after I had not slept and drove all the way from San Diego! I had explained to them the situation, my autism, my mom having a serious bladder infection and needing the medication urgently. They said it was not ready, made me wait another 5 hours before it was even filled and than made me wait in the 3 hour line all over again which by then I had a meltdown, their way of dealing with it was to call the police forcing me to get out for my safety. This place has no respect for any form of life what so ever and needs to be shut down. Please spread word to shut this entire corporation down. They are understaffed as well and Staff were extremely over worked on top of people with health problems. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! Staff is not helpful at all! I told them I was cash pay they said rx is $91.00 but to download a discount app. So I did that and through good rx it said $24.59. He came back to me and said that was for capsules not liquid. Since it was for my Grandson I needed liquid. Tried good rx again and he came back it's still saying that code was for capsules but it's going through at $39.34. This is ridiculous! First off why is there cash price $91.00 for an antibiotic! I will not return to this store and I do not recommend this location of Walgreens!! Friendly staff always someone there to help! Very friendly when it comes to returns pharmacy isn't bad the one pharmacist is a little short and can be rude but hey I have seen ppl screaming at her! Avoid this pharmacy at all costs SKETCHY LYING THIEFS!!!! Went in to pick up a prescription and first was told, I need a "paper copy" of My prescription when my doctor already put it in electronically, then I was told I no longer have insurance and I was going to have to pay the out of pocket cost for the medication, And that I need to contact my insurance company to verify. Keep in mind I've been coming here for over a year picking up the same medication and had no problems. I was frustrated at this point and just paid the out of pocket cost because I need my medication. Then they told ME to go ahead and call my insurance to verify, isn't that there job? But I went ahead and called my insurance to prove a point that I'm fully insuranced and long and behold they told me I'm still fully insured and shouldn't had to pay anything. The pharmacy tech there also told this to another guy that he didn't have insurance and that he would have to pay out of pocket as well, which I thought was a bit odd. BE AWARE of this pharmacy they will lie to you and try to steal money from you to keep for themselves and also charge your insurance. I will never be coming to this pharmacy again and will be filling a complaint to corporate. Also, they never answer the phone I've been trying to call them multiple times for the past week for a refill and never could get through. The pharmacy techs Josh and some other tech working and the blonde pharmacist named "Stella" Lack skill in customer service, let alone are uneducated about prescriptions/medications. Plus we've even been told that the other Walgreen's has what we need but they wouldn't transfer it bc they had already requested it there. Does that even make sense? She is the most knowledgeable of all the products, where to locate them, prices, the best deals, & will open up and help out when the front is slammed with people. It's your standard corner store. They carry some brand of what ever you're looking for. May it be makeup, general merchandise, food, wine, beer, smokes, and candy. The staff was polite and asked if you needed assistance regardless if you knew what you needed. It is obvious that this store is well kept as it was clean, well lit, grounds and parking lot were tidy, and the product was all faced properly. Everything about it is convenient except for the "convenience charge" on the prices. read more

The people running the pharmacy are extremely rude and unwilling to help there favorite line is "sorry I cant fill that"... not only happened to me but with several people I wait for in the slow lines. Secondly the cashiers are EXTREMLY rude. one in particular older woman looks in her older 50's wears glasses she is to busy talking to her friends in store or not even paying attention to you when you check out and acts like you are bothering HER. I try to let things like that slide because I know how working in retail is but since this is near where I live I have had to deal with her several times and she is just an out right lazy bitch. The worst pharmacy that I have ever used. Dr faxed a prescription that he wanted me to start right away. I got a txt saying there would be a delay cause the did not have medicine. Tried to call for update on eta , first call on hold for 14 mins without anyone picking up up. 2nd call, 20 mins same results no one picked up , 3 call another 10 mins - no one picked up. Went to store and waited on line to be told that they needed to order and would call me when it came in next day. So today I waited and waited and called and called to no avail. Went to store and waited a ridiculous amount of time only to be told that my insurance would not cover and maybe I should call Dr for something else. Hmm maybe if I was told that during day I could have. Response was I should have called them to check on my prescription. Ummm as I said, I called and called! No answer! So 150.00 later , I will never be back! read more

I have been getting automated calls about a prescription being ready for pick up and I have never even filled a prescription at Walgreens. When I called to let them know they must have the wrong number on someone's account they didn't seem concerned or appreciative. In fact, the man who I was speaking to practically hung up on me. I'm glad this is not my pharmacy. I hope whoever has my number on their account ends up getting the prescription that they need and I hope the calls don't start again next month. read more

Walgreens has slowly changed over the years and about a year and a half ago I switched to CVS at 60 N Valle Verde. I just got tired of being abused by pharmacists and store policies that make if difficult for older people to understand why I would have to wait weeks or my medication (after being stalled for days on end) and what is actually on sale on the floor and what is not. Since I switched I have never had any problems with my meds. At Walgreens there are a lot of fine print signs leading one to believe items are on sale when they are not - they are mixed together making the customer THINK the line of the product is on sale when in actuality only one color is on sale. Today it was lipstick and sorry to say I broke my own do not use Walgreen rule. At CVS I have never had a problem understanding what is a on sale and what is not. I am sorry I broke my rule of not using Walgreens today. It only led to frustration. read more

Terrible pharmacy. This is consistent. Once a month I have to have a prescription filled and go to this pharmacy because of location, certainly not because of the staff. On 3/12 at 3:30 I tried to call in for a refill, which requires me talking to the staff. I was placed on hold 4 times with no one ever saying anything at all. Not even a "please hold". After this happened 4 times (the call was 7:45 in duration) a woman from the pharmacy picked up. Before I told her the reason for my call I told her about being placed on hold 4 times without anyone saying as much. I told her I was in the process of calling from another phone wondering if I was even holding for the correct department, since no one said anything. Her response, "we're busy." In the end, I have to wait 2 more days for it to be refilled. I have to call back in 2 more days and I said I hope I'm not put on hold again without someone saying anything at all. Her response, "if we're not busy." Then click. Customer service at this Walgreens Pharmacy is not a priority. Convenient or not I will not go back. read more
