I got a promo code for free picture printing so I had to utilize it. Had it sent here and literally within the hour, the order was done and printed. Parking is plentiful and all around Walgreens. Came in and there was just one worker checking someone out. As I was waiting less than 2mins, another worker came up and helped me. I was in and out within 5mins. 8x10 photo prints were decent, and good as it's free. I was back in my car within minutes. Cannot beat that. read more

Regular pharmacy customer here, who can't show up during the workday so all my experiences are in the late afternoon to evening rush. Even if this wasn't the closest Walgreens to me, I'd still drive across town. This week I had dental surgery that needed an antibiotic filled for recovery. By the time I got here from my procedure, it was ready for pickup! I have yet to show up here without some massive in-person line for pickup, but they work quick and seem to have dedicated technicians for the separate drive through line folks. If I ever have questions for the pharmacist, they are kind and patient. As long as I'm in the Vegas area, I will continue to patronize this location. read more

Walgreens pharmacy sucks period, but this one is absolutely the worst one I've ever been to. They've sent me twice now that my prescriptions were ready for pickup, and when I get there they tell me that my insurance hasn't okayed it yet. This last time I sat there for 45 minutes in line to be told the same thing again. Not to mention they had some lady working the window they can barely speak any English at all and had the speaker turned almost all the way off so you couldn't even hear her. I pick up rx for clients all the time. Never had a problem til I came here. Client was in the hospital. Rx had been sent over 24 prior and it still wasn't ready and they wouldn't fill it while I waited. I'm hired and live 45 min from here and my client is senior and doesn't drive. Not only did they refuse to fill it but the pharmacist was the rudest and most argumentative lady I have dealt with in awhile. I can tell they are short staffed so corporate needs to help this store and give them some customer service training. Clearly people come here because they need things and sometimes urgently. Obvious pharmacy employees hate their job and I'm sure they get yelled at all day every day after reading the reviews. read more

It's because they're sick and then they prescribe medicine to you and you trust that Walgreens can fill it, and then they want to fill it the next day. Midday, the next day that's unacceptable. Avoid this place. They are rude, incompetent and arguementive. They phaarmisit decides what medications you can fill even if your doctor approves them and then argues with you and hangs up. They can't get anything right and delete refills on file. It's been 3 days and still can't get my rx transferred correctly out of there but now it's disappeared and has been deleted. I went to this location to get a prescription filled that the other local Walgreens could not fill. The pharmacy line was pretty backed up so I had to wait. Once I did get to the front of the line, things went pretty smoothly compared to my experience at the other location. The technician was friendly and engaging. I hope to continue with Walgreens pharmacy with ease going forward, but likely won't be back to this location since I was just passing through. I did not buy anything in the store so I cannot comment on the other services offered here. read more

This is a typical Walgreens, the 5 stars are for Brenton in the pharmacy. Had to go in person to order a refill after having issues ordering online and he noticed that I have no insurance, and got me signed up for their prescription savings program. This was one day after I dropped $200+ at the same pharmacy and no one told me about it then... if I still had the receipts he would've been able to adjust it for me, alas I'd already tossed them but at least I'm set for next time. He also went above and beyond by crediting me with some Walgreens rewards. Also... I'm sure it's a corporate issue since every WG seems to have an understaffed pharmacy, but it would be great if they could hire more folks... I've never seen it without several people in line AND backed up at the drive-through. read more

The Walgreen store is simply useful and convenient. However the Pharmacy is not a delightful or useful source for obtaining your medicine. They take days to fill what a normal pharmacy will get to you in a hour. I've been using this Pharmacy for a little over 12 months total. With in this time they have managed to break my driver's license in half. Be disrespectful to my doctors nurse. Only provide me with some walgreen points in my account for their employe who broke my license. Each and every prescription has been late or simply not filled. They managed to short my prescription I was supposed to get 90 pills they only provided me with 30 total. They always tell me Mrs. Hubbert why don't you go down the street to our other location but this is after they had my prescription for 2 to 3 days already. And I got a text message saying my meds are ready for pick up. They keep a I dont know attitude. Why you text me to come get my meds if your out? I dont know. Why are some of my pills missing? I dont know. I need my shots I'm diabetic when will I be able to pick them up? I dont know. Ok let me speak to the pharmacist. Well I am the pharmacist. I'm sorry for your inconvenience just take the prescription to one of your other locations. Listen going to a different location is NEVER a issue. But you would think they would show some transparency and let you know they cant fill your meds day one. Why on earth is this day 12 and you just now are saying ok we out of this meds. When your dealing with a diabetic our meds are needed asap. I very well could die without my shot. Should I request or if I'm given my prescription back to indeed take it to another location. I am always baffled at how them employees have put graffiti all over my prescription. Or simple Walgreens stickers. See if your telling me take it to walmart why do they want to see your company logo all over it. Or the fact that your unable to do simple basic math. Who is adding 22 + 1 = on any paperwork. Wow.I just got asked to leave a Walgreens. I was like why.I thought there was a shooter or something.However, no one else was leaving.I said, "Can I pay for these first" the woman says, "No, just leave the store. Big kudos to Alex the pharmacist! I came to this pharmacy with my son, concerned about his high fever. I was put at ease by Alex's calm demeanor. He was very professional and listened intently to everything I had to say. The medication he suggested quickly alleviated my son's fever and pain. Not only that, but he made sure to ask me my son's age and weight and told me exactly how much of the medicine I should give him, acoording to those parameters. Alex appears to be a young man in his twenties. I'm sure that he will do amazing things with his life! read more

Pharmacy is awful. I have never had a good experience with this pharmacy. They are ALWAYS hours behind schedule so if they tell you your prescriptions will be ready at a certain time make sure to add at least two hours to that time. Also, if you have something that requires medication (like pneumonia) don't drop your prescriptions off with them. I made this mistake and when I called 30 hours later to check on them they told me that my scripts hadn't been put in to be filled ... So, why else would I have dropped them off if I didn't want them to be filled?? Seriously?! I have pneumonia! I'm supposed to be on antibiotics! Truly, go ANYWHERE else for prescriptions. read more

Worst visit to try to drop off and pick up a prescription ever! We sat in the drive thru for over half an hour to drop off a script. We were told by Martha that it would be 2 hours to fill once we finally got to the window. We returned at 10pm as that was the time we were told the prescription would be ready. Martha was super rude and informed me that the prescription and yet to be started and it would be later. I get you have scripts backing up but if the delivery was more personable with the slightest bit of compassion I would not be writing this review. We went inside to wait as my son needed this pain medication following his surgery. We watched people come up to the counter to pick up scripts that were not ready and then filled before we even got ours. We asked Martha why this happened and she replied that his medication was in the safe and was in the process of being filled. It would be a bit longer. Why did we even have to ask? Communication is not a priority here. As of this moment my family and I will no longer be filling outlet prescriptions at Walgreens. It's unfortunate because this has been our families preferred quick service and prescription go to. I'm beyond disappointed in the lack of care and compassion at this one location. read more

It's a cool place to shop but Walmart is right across the street with a better selection and better prices. The only reason we used to come here is because they had beanie boos and my daughter loves them. But they don't have them anymore so I rarely come. One thing that's kind of annoying is there's always a tweaker at the front of the line trying to pay for a can of butane with nickels and dimes holding up the whole line. Also their ATM never seems to be functioning, and That's one of the few ATMs I can use without getting a charge to my account. Luckily Target right up the way is 5 minutes away and they have the same ATMs but they work. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, I have been going to Walgreens In California, Florida, now here in Henderson for 25 years. This is by far the most inept crew and nasty manager and pharmacy manager I have ever encountered in my 65 years. Just got on medicare this January, first time ever to the 101-lake mead pky Walgreens, asked for a pneumonia shot and a flu shot. Gave them my Humana gold card and driver's license and told them I am on Medicare Advantage, no charge for this vaccine. They handed me the usual bs paperwork to fill out and kept my card and license for twenty minutes or more. Finally they gave them back and I waited a bit longer and got my shot. This is February 5, April I get a letter from my prior insurance I had for only 4 months last year and never used anywhere that they paid the charge and I owed them $281. Once again it was gap insurance I cancelled December 31 and I never showed that card to anyone. Walgreens never entered my Humana card they had for 20 minutes and when I left just pulled up this prior insurance from some system the have and charged it. I called Walgreens immediately when I opened the letter from Health Plan of Nevada asking for repayment as I was not part of their insurance plan. They should never have paid it but fell through the cracks. Walgreens put me on hold for almost an hour. With my phone on speaker I drove down to the store and watched them continue to put me on hold without explanation. I just wanted to know how they screwed up the billing. Was told to come back tomorrow as the phamacy manager Alicia and store manager Toni Jo, were already out of the store. Next day I approach the manager and she had a really bad attitude and never really took ownership of the problem. It was if I was annoying her with my problem THEY CREATED. Finally and reluctantly she put in for a retro billing to correct. I also called corporate as I did not trust her at this point. I just got my second notice from Health Plan of Nevada looking for me to pay this as Walgreens still has not reversed this of yet, 6 to 8 weeks they said, now I have to stall HPN to not put me to collections and ruin my good credit. As I waited to speak to the manager I witnessed several customers yelling at the employees because of wrong prescriptions filled and one lady screamed you could have killed my daughter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION, NOT ALL WALGREENS ARE LIKE THIS. THEY NEED TO FIRE THE MANAGER AND PHARMACY MANAGER AND CLEAN HOUSE. They will never see me there again, lost my business forever, not even an apology for all my aggravation and time spent trying to undo the damage they caused. read more

Yes. It is slow. Yes. It is busy....... But remember, it is a pharmacy that is OPEN..... ALWAYS. Yes. That's right.... ALWAYS. 24/7. 365 a year. Keep that in mind. Not everyone gets sick during business hours. Like today, my 11 month old spiked a fever of 103, out of no where. After spending a trip to the emergency room across the street..... I found it convenient to drop off and pick up so close. This was around 10pm. The pharmacy technician was working alone, and I could see that she had a line.... At least 6 deep. Make sure you push the "call" button, or else they won't know you exist. She set me up efficiently, and quickly. Told me it would be shit an hour. At midnight, I come back. One car in front of me.... So, yes, always busy. There was another woman being helped inside, as well. Finally, it was my turn. All my questions were answered, the instructions that were given to me were clear. No complaints, really. Slow , yes. Busy, yes. But open, all the time... And that's some thing that my family and I are grateful for. read more

This Walgreens's is always busy the pharmacy is crazy busy with that being said their attitude is still in check, I would be insane but they handle it well even when customers don't have the right info or are just flat out confused. This review is for the pharmacy. No matter what time of day I come here, drive thru or walk in, the line is ridiculous. I tolerate it because it is the closest Walgreens to my residence. My prescription was up for renewal this month and my doctor faxed over the authorization on Feb. 5th. I went to Walgreens on Feb. 9 to pick up my prescription since I had to start the prescription again on Sunday and was heading out of town. They told me although they received the fax, the prescription was not authorized and I would have to contact my doctor. My doctor contacted the pharmacy directly about an hour later and the pharmacy tech told my doctor my prescription was ready. I returned to Walgreens the next day and was told my prescription did not have authorization and I would have to contact my doctor. I could feel my blood pressure instantly boiling. I explained that my doctor authorized it via fax and she personally called the pharmacy the day before. The snooty pharmacy tech stated she had no record of it. I asked her to check my file because I'm sure they would keep records of speaking to a doctor and the faxes they receive. She told me they had nothing on my account, not even a fax. I know this was a lie because the pharmacy tech the day before said she received a fax on the 5th. The pharmacy staff is completely incompetent, unprofessional, and untruthful. Luckily I was able to have my doctor call the Walgreens in the state I'm in for travel today. Not only did a pharmacy tech call me several minutes after my doctor called to confirm my information, the automated service call a few minutes after that to confirm my prescription was ready. That is how you do customer service. Take note Walgreens Lake Mead! Avoid Walgreens on Lake Mead if you want good service and to actually get your prescription. read more
