I have never heard of a Smith's marketplace as we are new to the lake Las Vegas area. I was surprised to see on how appetizing everything looked. It was a breath of fresh air but the only other thing that surprised me that there was a bar in this grocery store! I was pleasantly surprised on the variety of everything including clothes, sundries, and cookware! I can make an assumption that this is a higher end version of Walmart which is amazing! read more

This is one of my favorite locations! It kind of reminds me of a super Walmart, except for that it's a Smith's. There are all kinds of deli items, bakery goods; there's even a clothing and makeup section. The store is really big, but my favorite part has to be the sushi section and they even have six dollar sushi on Wednesdays. I purchased a rib roast from here at a fairly reasonable price at $8.99 per pound. At 7 pounds that's one of the cheapest prices in town for a standing rib roast. Will, definitely be back! read more

This location offers a gas station, pharmacy, deli, sushi, an on-site bar, pizza, chicken, Starbucks, a good produce and liquor selection and more. The staff is helpful and the store is conveniently located for us with plentiful parking. One item of note: The vegan cold case was shrunk significantly the past few months, necessitating a trip to nearby Sprouts. This story is very busy on weekends so plan accordingly. This new store is huge. I love it. So much better and more selections. Very nice ambiance, nice lighting. It has a Starbucks and a BAR, lol along with a nice tiny casino inside. Quite the step up from the old days. The produce is fresh and the dept is pretty big. The deli selections have been slightly elevated. I have usually use pick up for my big orders. However it's easy to pop in for last minute items too. It's literally 3 blocks away. I should have pics , I'll take some next time! read more

I love the Smith in the Cadence shopping center. Convenient location and great prices. Starbucks is inside and the bar inside has amazing service always. Having drinks before or after shopping is very relaxing. The store has everything from grocery shopping, floral, home goods, clothing, toys, kids essentials and more. There's also a gaming area. Atmosphere - Again, the largest Smiths I have ever been to. See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 6am to midnight. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Easy in and out. Highly recommending Smith's Marketplace in Henderson. It's so clean and spacious -- makes grocery shopping a real joy. I really appreciate the staff too. The place is huge and pretty spread out. There are also tons of parking spots surrounding the store. They also do have different food trucks in the lot on the weekends, a drive thru pharmacy area, and a gas station close to the store. The aisles are well organized and were well stocked when I was shopping around. This location also has a beer bar and they had a tap takeover on that day (specifically for Voodoo Ranger where pints were $4 and you could get an additional pint of this craft beer brand for free during the time of the event). It was pretty nice to see some deals and specials at the store. And they were also doing some alcohol samplings during that time in the liquor department. It seemed like a pretty good amount of store employees out and about, so it wasn't too hard to find someone to help when I was having a hard time trying to locate some items. Honestly, love this store and that they have the additional housewares section too, for people that want to do one stop shopping. Pricing can be competitive, but isn't necessarily the best price vs. having good value compared to other stores that are in the area. If I'm in the area I will be stopping by again to take my time and shop their selections or grab a bit from the food truck. read more

She says hello to all the Caucasian people but us as black people she gives us a stare like we're going to steal. I really like the Australian older lady who actually talks to us and greet us. This is the grocery store of my dreams! Not only do they have a wide selection of food, but also skincare, makeup, clothes, vitamins, electronics, toys, alcohol, household supplies, and more. They even had a particular hair dye I was looking for that I couldn't find at a large Target. Whenever I've shopped here, the shelves have always been well-stocked. The entire store is so clean, spacious, and organized. Even when I've come on busy holidays, there's so much room that I've never felt squished or claustrophobic despite the crowds. There's an abundance of self check-out machines, so even if there's a line, it goes pretty quickly. The workers have always been so nice and friendly whenever I asked for help or just passing by each other. Smith's always has everything I need and more when I come here. Deli: Boars head products and absolutely wonderful staff everyone that has helped us at the deli counter has been top notch. Frozen: Huge selection of everything you can desire to make quickly. We really enjoy the Raos pizzas and Kroger Neapolitan ice cream. Bakery: Incredible selection and delicious products. We enjoy the bagels. Dairy: Excellent selection of all dairy items! I had the utmost displeasure of getting Shannon as a customer service associate at the return desk at this Smith's location located on 835 E Lake Mead, Henderson, NV. It is befuddling to believe that Kroger would employ such a distasteful, rude and uncouth person representing their store brand. I had approached the return desk and asked if she was servicing still and while yes she answered me she prioritized using her cellphone. An employee that uses their personal device during working hours isn't unheard of but prioritizing personal devices over inquiring customers should surely be against company policy. She was rude from the moment I approached her. I needed a simple return but was met with hostility. I have never needed to return an item at Smith's before so of course I am not experienced in the handling of the return process. Shannon made it clear I was wasting her time as well as made it seem like I was the incompetent one for not knowing her job. She made the whole situation uncomfortable and ironically was incompetent for making me ask her questions about returning a singular item. After my unprofessional experience with her, I approached a supervising manager at the time named Jill. And although Jill was kind in her regard, she was not surprised of Shannon's unprofessional and rudeness towards customers. A manager knowing an employee's uncouth behavior towards customers yet nothing has been done to rectify this person's behavior? I was surprised at this admission and how odd it was. This makes me question management as a whole. Why are they allowing this behavior and enabling employees that act unprofessionally towards customers? After speaking with Jill, I doubt my complaint will change Shannon's rude behavior and attitude yet I am hopeful that someday HR or upper management will see this review and consider doing something about it. Until then, there's a grinch at the customer help desk using her phone and disliking helping customers. read more

Super sized Smithers grocery store! They have everything you need and sales running weekly!!!

Last night as we were leaving Smith's we realized we had been overcharged for some ice cream. This was traced back to the Smiths app and the digital coupons. When we brought this to the cashier's attention she said it was too late for her to help and we would need to go to customer service. We went to customer service where another customer was waiting but no one was there to help. When asking the closest worker, Shannon, if anyone was in customer service, she said it would be 10 minutes. We also mentioned the issue with app itself but she was giving us a stern 10 minutes. Shannon herself finally came and helped us. She made us feel like we were stupid as she was suggesting we had an issue with our use of the app. From what we have experienced and heard from others the app is pretty bad from a user interface experience and is difficult for older people. At any rate, due to Shannon's lack of customer service empathy, we requested a refund of all the melting ice cream. Shannon herself got confused and tried to refund all but 1 we finally got it refunded. Next Shannon was highly suggesting she can help us with the app and the digital coupons (which we had actually clipped correctly) but we declined as we had to get home to make dinner. In summary: Smith's customer service (Shannon) needs to improve. 2) Smith's app really sucks and is like a tax on older people. 3) kill the digital coupons and just give the discount to all. read more

This store was nice when it opened in early 2022. Unfortunately, like a lot of things in this area, it has quickly soured and become a place to avoid. Homeless people are hanging out in the parking lot/around the store every time I've visited lately. I don't like being around undesirable people, I'm scared they will break into my car while I'm shopping. The interior of the store has become hectic and junky. I liked coming here when it was first opened because it felt spacious and open. Now it feels very cramped. The floors are filthy. The aisles are narrow and it is a nightmare trying to navigate through the store. There are a lot of obese people/obese families who will block an entire aisleway with their presence. Shopping at this store in 2022 was great. Shopping at this store in 2024 sucks. It is a larger version of the Smith's south a little bit on Boulder Highway. read more

I shop there weekly. Produce department. They have the water spaying on the fresh and packaged produce all the time. All it does is make the product go bad even faster than it already does. Everything is drenched. half my lettuce was bad I bought today. Two weeks before cucumber wrapped in plastic cut into and it was mushy inside. Peppers inside slimy from moisture. This is one of the most amazing supermarkets in Henderson. As soon as you walk in, you are welcome to great customer service from all the attendance working. Make sure you log into the Wi-Fi just in case you have bad reception inside the store. The selection is vast the rest Rooms are clean and the store is immaculate. The meat seafood and produce section or second to none. They do have a Starbucks in there and they have a section where you can buy alcohol and relax with friends over a cocktail. SMITHS is stepping their game up with this concept of a "Smith's Market Place." The store, located at Cadence Village Center in Henderson, opened its doors to the public on Jan. 29. It is located at 845 E. Lake Mead Parkway near Warms Spring Road. (Near Lake Las Vegas) Once I stepped into the store I was all Googly eyes . I saw items that I have not seen before. There alcohol selecton is kept in a glass cuppard which they lock it after 10:00 pm ( unlock from 8:00 am to 10:00pm). I see that Home Chef has thier own section where you can pick up a meal kit. Huge Boars Head selection. Party dips you can purchase for your next gathering. You can make your own charcuterie and purchase the cheese plate right there and so much more! The Brand new 125,000-square-foot multi-department store featured food, apparel, housewares, decor, hardware, and gardening items. I also saw Murray's Cheese Shop, Starbucks kiosk, Pizza Romana Station, freshly made sushi ( $5.00 Sushi every Wednesdays which is made daily by a professional Sushi Chefs), floral department, Raider's and Knight's sports apparel, slot machines where you can play while you are waiting for someone, a wine and beer tasting station, pharmacy, and gas station. Every attempt to check for items in stock result in huge INSTACART popup requiring sign in --- I don't want to jump thru such nonsense hoops just to search for item availability. ...... TRIED SEVERAL STORES .. MY HOME STORE IS A FEW MILES AWAY AT 8800 BLOCK OF West Lake Mead. Can't call and can't access the website without the nuisance popup. I suspect there is a work around, but I'm not willing to spend ANOTHER 20 Minutes working the jigsaw puzzle of whether to SHOP AT MY PREFERRED STORE or just go on over to either of the 3 WMarts MUCH CLOSER TO HOME; but, where customers are NOT APPRECIATED. read more
