I love it here! Closest thing I can find to an Erewhon (minus deli/juice bar). Love the selections, and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful. This month, ALL MONTH you get 10% off! For no particular reason at all! They don't sell alcohol, I no longer drink but just a heads up. Cheaper prices than Whole Foods and Sprouts on some things (without them being on sale), love the variety in the freezer, they have an app, there's sales and clearance, animal food, got the refrigerated one and picky pants loves it! One of my roommates, told me about this store. Whole paycheck is out of the question, and Sprouts isn't as affordable, as it used to be. This was DEFINITELY worth the drive. The app, emails, and coupons, are worth it. What made this day special for me, was Ruby. She was the young, pretty, knowledgeable woman, at the checkout. When I say phenomenal service, I mean it! I called the manager, Delena, who told me, she just hired her 3 days ago! What a gem! Great quality food, at a fair price, with excellent customer service. Always drove by this store, but would always ignore it, not until it showed up as one of the recommended places when I opened this Yelp app. It's a health/organic grocery store. Came in to pick up a couple of protein foods to incorporate with my meals. Something new would be nice. Seemed like a chill Saturday afternoon. Not as crowded as Trader Joe's on the weekends. I liked the plant-based protein in the deli section. Some vegan cheeses I didn't care for. Non-dairy milk and yogurt items were limited, but I was able to pick up a carton. This place has a lot more organic body/skin/hair care products and dietary supplements than other health grocery stores I've been to. They also have organic products for pets and mommy/baby needs. Parking: Plenty in the lot. Service: Each employee was attentive, they all seemed very happy. Price/Products: Kind of fairly priced for an organic store. Limited food options, I did like the meat-alternative section. They have a lot more stock of organic vitamins and other dietary/pills. Glad to give this place a try. Seems like it appeals more to customers who regularly purchase organic products that are non-food like shampoo, lip balm and soap. Don't shop here. The store manager is rude. The employees fight and 1 employee put his hands on a female employee and the store manager allowed it to happen. Never have seen such careless action at a location. This store is poorly ran I feel bad for the employees cause I've heard her yell at them in the demo kitchen and it's not pleasant. I decided to drastically change up my eating and shopping food habits by eating and buying organic foods since I had a preventive outpatient surgery that has happen two weeks ago. I always invested in my food but I decide to concentrate now more than ever to try make a habit of eating healthy and going organic. Since we are in a pandemic and in quarantine this would give me ample time to focus on just thatFirst time I saw this grocery store I was driving on sunset road and caught my eye so I decide to come here today instead of Sprouts. Once I came in the store they followed the social distance guidelines and signage that they sanitized the carts. As I entered produce section was to the sharp right. It was not a huge section but the they had variety of other items that I have not seen before. From Mango Organic spread to a huge section of probiotic vitamins in a refrigerated shelf and you can pretty buy everything here organic. The one thing I did not find was organic ground turkey. But Im pretty sure as a grocery store inventory changes. I like the fact it was not too crowded which gave me ample freedom to explore the store the way I want to and did not have to bump into people. Once I stood in line I notice that you have bring your own tote bag. I told the cashier it was my first time shopping with them and he said thank you and provided me a free tote bag. Whoop Whoop! The store does not provide any free plastic bags like the other grocery stores or you will end up using their small boxes like Costco. Just remember to bring your own tote bag. read more

Mood - Being healthy Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. I was asked if I had any questions or if I was apart of the saving club. I had questions re: items I needed to procure. The staff pointed me in the right direction and I found a wide selection of supplements that was needed. Interior is always in amazing shape, shelves fully stocked, produce abundant, and even a small clearance shelf with items that have been carefully selected. I love that this store is not overwhelming in size and the staff are very caring. Staff has always been wonderful answering all of my health questions, and if one member of the team didn't have an answer they found someone that did. Pricing is reasonable. There are always sales going on, and now with their newly updated point system for every dollar you spend it goes towards your account. I enjoy knowing that the produce is organic and it is not hiked up in price. Sometimes the goal of being healthy and eating healthy feels so unobtainable due to pricing. I'd heard about this new natural grocery through a friend, and finally made it over there. First impression was clean, nicely organized, loving the organic only produce. A friendly worker greeted me and asked if I needed anything, and told me how they specialize in vitamins and supplements, but also all organic produce only, all cage-free, organic eggs, grass-fed beef only. Walking around, I noticed the chicken and fish selection they have is extremely meager, like 3 products, organic and more expensive for Sprouts or Trader Joe's. They have a big frozen foods section with organic and natural foods. They have a huge bulk spices, flour, oats, seeds, nuts, etc. aisle. They have a lot of the same items and brands that Whole Foods or Sprouts has, but I noticed a few things significantly cheaper, like my Go Macro bars and the MyChelle face serum I get at Sprouts is $10 less there. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when purchasing supplements or that face serum, I'll return. They also have a few free demo classes on alternative health concepts. read more

I found Sambucus Elderberry Gummies $4 less & Alba Botanicals 24 oz lotion $6 less than what I normally pay elsewhere! As for the meat, I'm sure it's the most ethical & highest quality but personally I can't afford it for my family at this time. You can bet though when I can they'll have my loyalty! Update: Went in pick up some new tricks to supplement the family - I had 2 versions of 2 products I couldn't decide from on my own. That's when I found Carl! So happy to discover Vitamin Cottage here in Vegas! While living in Colorado, I would shop here every now and then, not realizing how lucky I was. As I shopped here today I did finally recognize what I had been missing. I would describe this as a combination of Sprouts, Trader Joes and Whole foods. It really has the look of a Whole Foods, but in a mini size. As we walked in we were greeted by happy, smiling people. We came here specifically for their vitamins and supplements. We were helped right away, and were even given paperwork regarding a supplement we were interested in. Now that is seriously awesome customer service. I checked out the natural shampoos and realized that they were quite a bit cheaper than Sprouts. Sweet! They had a great selection of everything we needed today. In the frozen section I found a bunch of the 'evol.' brand products that I didn't even know existed. Nice! I am definitely putting this place into my weekly grocery shopping rotation. Although it seems small inside, they seem to carry quite a bit of healthy/natural products for every aspect of your life. When you bring your own bag for your groceries (ANY bag) they will donate 5 cents to our local food bank! You can even make a donation to our local food bank while here, and they will match it dollar for dollar. Now that's pretty awesome. read more

Sometimes I still find myself grieving over Fresh&Easy and its glory days of wonderful affordable fresh fare, but I was still happy to see that Natural Grocers has taken over this old location in Henderson. It's not exactly a reincarnation, but it has its own appeal. I stopped in because I received a flyer in the mail for $10 off any purchase (no minimum) along with offers of free vitamins and a reusable bag. They had run out of their promo vitamins, but I was still able to score $10 worth of free merchandise and a reusable bag to carry it all in. Brilliant marketing to get people to come check out their store -- It worked, I was down! First impression: Very clean and tidy. As with all new businesses, it seemed overstaffed, with at least four employees asking me if I needed any help or was looking for anything in particular. No, I replied, just browsing, but thank you. I walked through and explored each aisle. You've got your small produce section, a few aisles solely devoted to vitamins and supplements, a center area for bath/oils/cosmetics, a book section hidden in one corner, and overall, a selection of healthy/organic/vegan items. It's comparable to Sprouts, I'd say. I wouldn't do my ordinary groceries here as some of the price points are a little marked up, but I'd come back for their sales and their selection of chocolates and beverages. This is a very good health food store hosting many of the specialty items that you can't find at Whole Foods/Trader Joes/Sprouts. For those of us who eat paleo, keto, vegan or gluten free, there were more selections of prepared food items and to prepare food items within these specialties than anywhere. I picked up some gluten free cookies, keto chips and lots of supplements. Other than the great selection, I was surprised by the good prices. They had whole organic chickens for $10 whereas other stores had them for $12-15. Pretty good deal. The employees were also very nice and friendly and willing to help if I needed it. Even though this store is out of the way for me, I did enjoy it and will come back for those specialty items that I need. read more
