I was there yesterday and Jordan was his name , he was the cashier this day , I really wanted to say they he was so nice , I also saw him on the floor working hard, I asked him if he was having a good day ? It was quite busy @2 pm, he said "yes" ma'am I am having a good day ! He seemed a bit overwhelmed but was handling it well as the lines kept growing . I did tell him I thought he was doing a great job , I appreciated his hard work and he smiled and said Thank you!! I just wanted to pass this on as it is nice to see people like where they work . Is this the friendliest Trader Joe's on the planet? Possibly. They also sell ginger shots at a lower price than ALDI and have a few lovely gluten free dips I'm always shocked by how low some of the prices are-- especially since my go-to is cherry-picking the marked down items at Sprouts. Maybe I'll just move to this neighborhood ... On the vibe: this location always has that small town energy where nobody seems rushed and random chitchat is part of the checkout. read more

I am a fan of Trader Joe's. That includes the Eastern at Coronado Center location that has been open since 2006. They sell hard to find food and drinks at reasonable prices. It is their frozen dinners that have been leading me here after hiking at the nearby parks and trails. The way I see it, the Trader Joe's frozen dinners are equally as good as some of the nearby restaurants that I debated taking out from. Lately my frozen dinners of choice have been their chicken chow mein, fettuccini, and frozen sweet white corn. When I look at their vast selection I ponder the next one I will try. I will usually compliment or proceed it with a Trader Joe's snack such as cheese puffs, bagel flavored chips, or potato chips. Not surprisingly this is a busy Trader Joe's that shares a busy parking lot with Seafood City and numerous businesses. I feel that the wide aisles accommodate the high volume of customers. At the checkout, there are a sufficient amount of registers manned by friendly cashiers. This is one of the few chains that I am aware of in southern Nevada that offers paper bags with handles. My one "not minusing a star complaint" with Trader Joe's is that it doesn't provide one-stop shopping. For example, preceding my last visit here, I stopped at Smith's across Eastern Avenue to pick up my flavored sparkling water and toothpaste. I am a fan of Trader Joe's. We love Trader Joe's and since we buy flowers frequently, it's a must stop in our book. The employees are always nice and helpful, the checkout process is usually seamless. For as busy as this location is, it's always pretty clean inside. We also find their food selections as fairly good especially some of the produce here. Parking can be hit or miss though as sometimes you can score a close spot while other times you're far away. Great store though. read more

My New Favorite Trader Joe's! I usually shop at the Green Valley Trader Joe's a couple of times a week, but since it's been under renovation lately (and hit or miss on essentials), I decided to give the South Eastern location a try. Just last week at Green Valley, the entire dairy fridge was shut down--no cheese, eggs, butter, yogurt, juice, or milk in sight. Well, let me tell you--what a pleasant surprise! This S. Eastern location is huge compared to Green Valley. I was immediately impressed by how spacious, well-lit, and welcoming it felt. The product selection is way more extensive, and I found so many exciting new items I can't wait to try. Bonus: everything is easy to find, and the store layout just makes sense. The staff? Absolutely wonderful. Super friendly, helpful, and even offered some great product suggestions for my next visit. It's that kind of personal touch that keeps me coming back. Now, one of the biggest reasons I love Trader Joe's in general is their commitment to clean, ethically sourced products. No GMOs, no steroids, no weird additives--just quality ingredients in their TJ-branded items. And the biggest win for me? Trader Joe's doesn't carry any produce treated with Apeel food coating. As a vegetarian, this is huge. Apeel can't be washed off, and it's used to extend the shelf life of fruits and veggies. After doing my own deep dive into it, I completely stopped buying produce from my local Kroger brand store once I realized they use Apeel-coated produce. Now, 100% of my fruits and veggies come from Trader Joe's. Big thank you to TJ's for sticking to clean, transparent sourcing! Okay, now for a couple fun product shout-outs: Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans - These are amazing! Not only delicious, but they pack a serious caffeine punch. Just a word of warning--eat one at a time. If you pop a bunch in your mouth, you'll be chewing straight coffee grounds, and it's... not cute. Ginger Mints - Lifesavers (literally) if you get motion sickness like I do. Plane, train, bus, or boat--these calm my stomach every time. I travel a lot and always keep these handy. Now, I'm not proud of this, but I can go through a whole tin of these in one sitting. They're that good. Totally addicted. Bottom line: I highly recommend this Trader Joe's location. I did my regular Trader Joe's shopping last week but "ran" in for a couple stocking stuffers and bought more than expected. Like most Trader Joe's this location is always pretty busy. Parking can be a pain but if you are willing to park further there are always spots available. With the holidays they have so many fun finds and gift ideas. Everything is well stocked and they were even putting out some of their Mini Tote Bags so I was able to snag a couple of those. Even with it being packed in the store, the aisles are clean and clear, and things are organized well. I had to grab more of the Jingle Jangle, so yummy! I believe all the check out lines were open, so although busy- I only waited a few minutes to purchase my items. Employees are very friendly and helpful, they always make small talk and check if I got what I needed. Always a great vibe in the store. read more

This is a good Trader Joe's. The layout is great, with wide aisles (wider than my home location) and plenty of employees roaming around if you have any questions. The products are fresh and super organized. It's the one thing I'm jealous about, my location kind of has stuff everywhere (it's in a smaller footprint) and I just love how you can see everything lined up in this one. The staff here is just as great as other locations, helpful and friendly. The only reason I don't come to this one more often (other than it's farther from my house) is that I am not a huge fan of this shopping centers parking lot. read more

Trader Joe's or as my nonno used to call it "crazy joes" is now becoming one of my favorite grocery stores. I know I know I'm really late to the party. It's always pretty busy here but I've found the sweet spot time to go is weekdays around lunchtime. It's been fairly quiet around those times. We have been stopping in once a week to grab dough for pizza. They literally make the best dough ever and it's probably like $2 for each one? Can't beat that price! We've been grabbing them for pizza night at home every Friday and have really been enjoying it. This Trader Joe's has an excellent selection. The staff is also really nice, too. They are in the process of remodeling and I couldn't find the dough and a nice employee noticed I was kind of staring off into space and walked me over to where they moved it. Recently, I also tried their sushi and it's pretty darn good for grocery sushi. Honestly, this place is the best and I'm definitely going to shop here more when I'm in the area. read more

Trader Joe's is an icon in the grocery game. I remember seeing them in California for the first time and loving the concept. And, I still do. It was one of my requirements for a new place to live. I didn't get that this time but will drive the 80 miles to restaurants and shop-and this is always one of the stops. They're have great produce, excellent and a vast array of cheese, great frozen apps, delicious dinners, all the basic pantry needs and some tasty wines. The nice thing is that every store in the many places I've been are all basically the same. Great atmosphere, food, service and prices. I'd be happy to give them a 5 if they would just remove some of that plastic packaging in the produce department ... but you can usually get some without it so it's a 4.5 rounded to a 5 anyway. read more

This is a nice well stocked store. The employees here are very kind and helpful. The food selection is what you would normally expect at Trader Joe's. Today we sampled a pretzel with cheese and it was delicious! It was very crowded when we came on a Saturday around 2, but it makes sense since Trader Joe's is popular. Some berries and fruits were not as fresh as I usually can expect at my local Trader Joe's in Mira Mesa/Scripps area, but that was the only negative. I have to say that I am pretty fond of Trader Joes. There are so many ready to eat food options as well as frozen foods that can be readily heated up. City of Henderson has two Trader Joe's locations. I was just about done with an appointment at my favorite wellness clinic nearby and needed to pick up a few items from the store. When you're from out of town and always in search of goodies, necessities, essentials and all the odds and ends, you try to do it all in one store. I don't even know the name of this strip mall, but there is another grocery store on the other end of the shopping center along with lot's of free parking! Most Trader Joe's are located in the suburbs of a town or city. This one on Eastern Avenue just off of the 215. Price is always right, service from all clerks and cashiers are very consistent, efficient, and super outgoing whenever you visit any Trader Joe's in any state. What I use to like to buy was their 3-pack of Chapstick, they've totally discontinued this item. I was also trying to restock some Overnight Face Mask, it wasn't in stock at the moment, probably because it comes and goes by the seasons. BYOB (Bag) or purchase one on your way out rather than coming home with another paper bag. read more

This is the first Trader Joe's that we went to in Nevada. Nadine and Lyla told me that if I located Ralph the road runner in the store that I would get a lollipop. I had no idea what they were talking about until they showed me. I find it pretty interesting that each Trade Joe's has its own animal. I was picking up a whole bunch of items for people back home. I arrived with two suitcases and left with three, mostly for my Trader Joe snacks and my sneakers, lol. Anyway, I was so busy looking for everyone's goodies that I misplaced my phone somewhere in the store. Luckily, the manager spotted it on the shelf and held onto it for me. Thank you so much. Soon after filling our bellies at the Palace Station's Oyster Bar, we explored several Las Vegas neighborhoods. Fellow Elite Nadine C asked if we wanted to go to Trader Joe's since we don't have this market chain store in Hawai'i to shop, and she reminded me about TJ's in-store search challenge. Luckily, we had eaten before going to this market because we probably would've bought more snacks to eat while traveling or to bring home in our hand-carry bags. As we approached this location, I was temporarily distracted by La Tropezienne French Bakery or Boulangerie since it's one of my bookmarked locations. My husband noticed my eyes widen or maybe a slight drool form when I nudged him to check out the boulangerie instead of shopping at TJ. However, he got me to refocus my inner child curiosity at Trader Joe's when Nadine snagged a parking stall fronting the market. I was reminded of a previous visit at another Trader Joe's market in Henderson, NV, where I noticed a sign (directed towards children) announcing the search for the store's mascot, "Lemmy the Lobster, and if found, a prize would be awarded. Walking into the clean and bright market, I made a beeline for some of our favorite wafer cookies and roamed the store, taking photos while keeping my eyes peeled for Lemmy. Nadine approached me and said she found the mascot, but Lemmy" the Lobster was replaced by a road runner named "Ricky. She had already located Ricky the Road Runner and gave me hints to his location. After a while, I finally located the mascot and realized that it was "hidden in plain sight" in a photo that I had taken just a few minutes earlier. I took our cookies and other snacks to the cashier and presented the photo which showed the location of Ricky the Road Runner. A smiling and gregarious, TJ Crew Member, Dja'Afar, opened a drawer full of TJ's organically-flavored lollypops (strawberry, watermelon and lemon) to choose from as my prize for finding Ricky the Road Runner. He told me that Lemmy the Lobster had retired after 15 years and Ricky the Road Runner had replaced him just a few weeks ago. Ahhh, Happy Retirement to Lemmy! We found this store to be clean, bright and well-stocked. The store seemed to have a good variety of Trader Joe's branded items, fresh produce, and flowers, and we, of course, took advantage of the availability of our favorites while enjoying the lower price points. The employees were also friendly, welcoming and helpful which makes us eager to return. read more

I love Trader Joe's, especially this location. I have a bunch of favorite items I get here, their chicken eggrolls, veggie eggrolls, any of their Mac and cheese is delicious, the beef jerky is a nice price and portion and it's extremely tender. They have a great selection of flowers and succulents at an awesome price as well. Items sometimes come and go as the holidays and seasons change, right now Trader Joes has a phenomenal Apple crumb pie for the holiday season, you bake for 20- 30 minutes and pair it with some vanilla ice cream, delicious. We powered through... made a Trader Joe's stop on a Monday morning, thinking that it might be a little less traffic then on Saturday or Sunday afternoon... I was sorely mistaken... Lol. They were busy, but when is Trader Joe's really not busy? They always do a good business. There was two things I was looking for that I could not find which I will have to go elsewhere for... Ground lamb and just straight Romano cheese (not a blend). I'm making family sauce/gravy recipe for this weekend so I'll have to get those items elsewhere but that's OK because Trader Joe's has so many items that are nowhere else. That's never a problem. As always, staff was very friendly and as always got some cool finds. seems like I can't go in there without seeing several brand new items every time... Very cool. read more

I've been increasingly unhappy with Trader Joe's of late but today's experience checking out was so good that I decided to submit an updated Review with a higher score. Because of Heather. She was fast and pleasant. She did her job very well. We all agreed that the grape tomatoes would likely fall out of their box. She put a sticker over the gap to ensure they'll get home without spilling. That's something she does that I don't remember being done ever before by anyone else. The wine selection is half the size that it was. Literally. In the past, both sides of the last aisle were stocked with wine. Now, only the far wall has wine. I do think they are carrying more items but a smaller selection of the old items. Like, half as much wine. Lacey's used to come in both dark chocolate and milk chocolate; now they only carry the dark chocolate. Lots of changes that I don't like and the parking lot sucks but at least Heather did her job very well, making us actually enjoy today's shopping trip to Trader Joe's. read more

It was super busy here so it was often waiting in line to just get to things. There was a tasting station for truffle cheese that was delicious! Love they have so much more Belgian stuff now!! Nothing tastes as good as home!! I got lucky at check out and found a register that was open as soon as I got there. This place is SPOTLESS. The entire staff is WORLD CLASS. Hard to find a more friendlier store to shop at. Recently.....to my shock.....is that all my flare up from Krohns is tied directly to Trader Joe's and their poor quality of food (and additives). I will shop here for my fruits and vegetables. I will shop here for the imported foods. I will shop here for their non enriched breads. Have completely retired all their frozen foods and meats due to their high toxicity levels. I cut this out of my diet and my Krohns basically stop to exist. If you have dietary issues or Krohns I cannot state more emphatically to avoid all their meats and processed foods. I will continue to support this store for their vegetables, fruits and imported non toxic food. Two staff members I talked to about my feelings told me they removed these things from their personal diet and now have no issues. read more

What's not to love? Well parking is a bit of a pain at this location and that's really the only negative. They have all these interesting things that you won't find anywhere else. They are tasty and delicious and generally good for you without all the additives in nasty stuff you don't want. Also they have a pretty good booze section if you're into that. The blended Scotch is delicious as is the Vodka of the Gods. Their prices on produce are fair and they have good stuff. I wasn't sure if their apples were organic or not so I didn't purchase any. I would love to see better labeling with the produce. The employees are so much more helpful than any other grocery store they should all be given a medal. read more

My fav Trader Joe's location. Although it's in a bit of a congested shopping center, it's never too difficult to find a parking spot. The location is convenient because there is a Starbucks in the same shopping center, it's not uncommon for me to make a day of coffee+spending entirely too much money on random things at TJ's. LOOOL The employees are always cheerful and friendly, and so patient and engaging with my kids when we're in the checkout. They always come out of there with lollipops and stickers. And they love the tiny shopping carts! The store is kept stocked with all the favs, and it stays neat and clean despite the chaos during busy times. Sharing some of my absolute TJ's favs of the season: apple cider donuts, pumpkin bagels, pumpkin biscotti, pumpkin croissants, and my all time fav Honeymoon viognier.
