Its taken me almost 2 weeks to get blood pressure medication. The worst pharmacy ever. I need a new one.

Horrible, horrid service. Phoned in pharmacy at 3pm. Sat in drivetru from 715pm to 8pm. When at window, rude clerk said that medication would not be ready for another two hours. Employees that hate their jobs and people should be fired. Terrible. Shameful. read more

Michael is amazing he goes above and beyond his duties to help you out. I don't know about the rest of the staff but highly recommend Michael (Manager) to help you out with anything. We definitely need more people like him. read more

Came by here on the way to Lake Mead for some snacks. Some of the snacks were on sale so I was happy that we stopped here. I got great deals on candy and I refilled on aspirin just in case anyone got hurt at the lake. The service was good and the deals were even better! read more

Every single time I come to this pharmacy and my prescription is not ready for pick up. It is not even put into the system. We end up waiting for over half hour every single time I have come here. I am now changing pharmacies read more

Never would I ever go here! The pharmacist has no idea on what they're doing. They send messages saying they filled your script, then you get there and they say we don't have it but you're more than welcome to call around to other Walgreens and see if they can fill it for you and we will send it over to them so they can. This is also AFTER the pharmacist gets on the intercom on the drive-thru and says make sure you give both the scripts at the same time to prevent the nausea but they only give you the anti-nausea meds! This is AFTER their system sends messages saying the scripts are filled and then the pharmacist tells YOU that THEY don't have any control over the app you're using on your phone to check the prescription status! But then the tech interrupts the pharmacist who is calling other Walgreens to see if they have it (because apparently all the sudden they can see inventories in other stores when you raise hell about the situation) and the tech tells the pharmacist, "I need you to look at this order and see what's wrong with it." What makes it better besides the rude Tech is when the pharmacist hangs up the phone and starts to actually help with what the tech just asks for a different customer! Then to make it better, I get home and all the sudden when I'm at the actual store raising hell, they manage to go I. The system and update it to say "we can't fill this other script cause it's out of stock." read more

On this date, I experienced horrible customer service while requesting a passport size photo graph of myself. Additionally, the customer wait times are very long. The female associate with dark brown hair was very rude and condescending with her tonality towards me. She did not understand the process, how to operate the software, and took the photos incorrectly. When I asked her if I would have to endure the long wait time, she sarcastically stated yes, because I have to edit the photos. I noticed that she chose to take a photo of me with her personal phone. I was informed that the manager, Edgar instructed her to do so. I asked the manager to ensure that the employee delete the photos immediately from her personal phone. He did not follow through. I had to ensure this was completed on my own accord. Please note that I went to the Hampton store (first) and was instructed to go to the store "down the hill" because their camera was broken. Therefore, I proceeded to the Sunridge Heights store. I spent over 40 minutes in this store, and they could not produce a proper photo. Therefore, I wasted over an hour to obtain a passport photo to no avail. Moreover, the staff did not seem to care. I asked for the manager, I was informed that Matt, was not available until Monday. Their poor attitude and high level of incompetency should not be tolerated. I was highly inconvenienced with no formal apology. Mistakes with passports are very serious in nature. Finally, upon asking the female associate who took photos of me with her personal phone her name, she abruptly showed her her identification card, and then snatched it away quickly. Most important, employees should use authorized store equipment when handling customer transactions. This can lead to fraud. This is a very serious manner that I would like addressed with upper-management. read more

I should add-to WARN others not vengeance-I could not due to length-I once came here Thursday evening-about 8:30pm-December 10th of 2020-I will not forget it. I could not drive to another walgreens I usually went to because my mother had died (and I watched her pass away over 4 hours) from a liver condition not of her own doing 2 days prior. I was so sleep deprived due to a nervous system condition I have (And the prior ordeal) that makes sleep almost impossible (I live close to this one in lake las vegas)-that I could not drive to the usual one I go to off S. Eastern (I now no longer use any walgreens or big block pharma certainly not walgreens much less this one)-as I had not slept in 5 nights and it would put me and others on the road in danger. I also did not have the energy and it was getting late. I needed to pick up a non-controlled med not that even if it was controlled they should have given me a hard time; it was a normal dose of gabapentin I take once/night to prevent chance or severity of massive seizures (that can kill) as a result of sleep deprivation combined with hyper-adrenalism. I had taken 800mg once/night rather not even nightly but AS NEEDED, at this time I did need it, much of my life. I recently started seeing a new NP as just moved here from the bay area. I did not tell him the dose I took-it was 800mg, so he guessed and RX'd 300mg. I went through that in 15 days because I only took 600mg as opposed to my usual 800. I went back and saw him to get 600mg because that seemed to suffice, the less the better. And he did of course....but I had run out of fills at this dose and had some of the 300mg left over. I went back 28 days after last picking it up, but that was actually 13 days later than my most recent dose....complicated. I was once RX'd this at 800mg 4X/day being 3200mg a day and I told my doc no way am I taking that (also for severe peripheral neuropathy)-the lady made me wait a LONG time as they always do and then told me they would not dispense it as I was "red flagged" as they thought I was abusing this non-abuseable drug that even if it was abuseable I would not be; because she told me she "PRESUMED" (Wrongfully) that the "doc"-NP really reduced my dose from 600 to 300 when in reality it was increased from 300 to 600-the 600mg was the MOST RECENT DOSE-so she was upset I was taking 600 instead of 300-even said "nobody should take more than 300mg" even though individual pills go up to 600 and people take over 1000; VERY opinionated feminists here....the most rude, presumptuous, paranoid and condescending people ever-as many-but they are the worst here-I told her I could have seizures (big ones) and she gave me a nasty look with rolled eyeballs and said she doubted that and if so she could care less-she even said "nobody should give you any of your medications"-as if she was GOD and knew what I needed and did not and I only take what I absolutely need to live nothing more or less (they forget they are dispensers not the prescriber-and I happen to be a doctor myself BTW-well, PhD-a lot more education especially regarding MYSELF and pharmacology than them (they know NOTHING), but they judge you by a list of meds or a certain med they find to be not politically correct)-these ladies do NOT care-and they will end up with licenses gone, sued, and even maybe in jail for medical negligence; and they will not believe ANYTHING you say because they think EVERYONE is a drug seeker but regardless they come up with ANY REASON to not give your your meds OR run your insurance....They are so nasty and so afraid to do their jobs they refuse to do their jobs and I bet they DO NOT dispense more meds than they do (some justifiably-in my case NOT)-I have been here many times ALL bad however those there on the night of December 10th 2020 ought to all be FIRED (I did have a massive seizure as a result and almost bit my tongue off BTW)-and am considering (albeit I am not a litigious person) suing albeit I do not hold grudges albeit I am not sure about the statute of limitations-but yeah, they could care less about you-even if you suffer or DIE....and corporate ought to do something although walgreens in general sucks-these people treat you like a NOBODY and they know everything.... My fiancé had surgery, he was prescribed antibiotics and pain killers like after any surgery. We went to this location. The girls told us it would be ready by 3:00 pm. We dropped it off at 1! I called at 2:30 to see if it was ready because he was in pain. It said it was still processing. So, I didn't hear anything about 3:45. I called this location. They told me that they were out of stock of the two medications we needed! When we they going to tell us this?! The lady who was the dispenser, was very nice. She said I could drive through and pick up my hardcopies of the prescriptions. I drove through the drive thru. The gentlemen who was talking to me asked me all these personal questions about my fiancé, which is fine for his prescription but, I just needed to pick up the papers so I could get him out of pain! Finally, after answering all the unnecessary questions, he replies with your meds aren't ready and we are out of stock. YES!! Thank you for telling me something I already know. I told him I just needed the papers that the dispenser had left for me. He then replies with, you could've just told me that!! Well I tried but you kept interrupting me! I will never come again to deal with this. I hope If any of these pharmacist had this problem, no one would treat them that way! Learn customer service!! read more

If ever a place earned a spot on my "Jackassery" list this Walgreens has locked it in. I've made 2 visits to this location today, and another one back on New Year's Day. On New Year's Day they were provided with my insurance info in full, but they couldn't communicate with the pharmacy benefits provider so I had to pay cash price or wait. Nice having to wait when you're sick. Fast forward to today.....I'm very sick, desperately need the antibiotic combo I was prescribed and when I go over there they are like it's not filled yet and we don't have your insurance info on file. So I go home, try to eat, get even worse, print up my proof of coverage info and head back to the store. I go in and when the pharmacist looks me up he's like this is the same info we had on file for you! But now we can't communicate with your pharmacy benefits company! ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME? If these jackasses had paid attention the first time I would have the antibiotics I need vs. sitting here banging out a Yelp review and getting sicker by the minute. I don't do stupid at all. I especially don't do stupid when I'm sick. And I dang sure don't do stupid when I'm paying out the nose for these benefits and I can't even get a simple antibiotic combo filled! I know that the awesome Jessie B. gave this place 5 Stars...but I sure as heck won't. But I guess I should have known I what I was in for when I noticed these jackasses don't even keep their probiotics in the cooler, they're on the shelf right outside the pharmacy which shows they really don't have a damn clue about what they're doing or about half the stuff they're selling. 1 Star, under protest, with a promise that Walgreens corporate HQ is going to get an earful soon enough. read more

This used to be a great pharmacy. Since converting to a non-24 hour store it has plummeted. In-store wait times typically exceed 40 minutes in line. Drive-thru lines often wrap around the store. Prescriptions are not ready when promised. Pharm techs would rather chat with customers than do their jobs. Kerry is the worst...he thinks he's a great comedian and questions customers. Charlie is too chatty and rude. Christine is THE best. ASM Linda asked us not to transfer to another store. They simply can't handle volume and need to assess peak demand. If things don't improve soon, we will find another pharmacy. read more

DONT EVER GET RX HERE!!! My doctor sent in a prescription for my daughter, and it was a sedative because she was undergoing a procedure. I picked up the prescription, and noticed immediately that the amount of dosage was very high for a small child. I talked to the actual pharmacist and he said that the amount of dose could put my daughter to sleep - forever. He had us take the prescription anyway. I immediately called my pediatrician on the way to the hospital, who had to inform the nurse of the CORRECT dose to give. Never again. read more

That's is such EFFING BULLSHIZ!!! I'm sitting here listening to my daughter struggle to breathe because this place is such a joke! I spend HOURS in the urgent care for my daughter who's EXTREMELY ILL and in need of medication so I go to this location to grab ALL the medications for three family members and they NEVER tell me WHILE I'M THERE about some discrepancy with her antibiotic so now she has to WAIT until morning for her medications. Mind you they are 20 minutes from my house and now they won't even fill it for her before they close so she doesn't suffer all NIGHT!! That's total liability on their part and for their sake she better be able to breathe tonight and NOT end up in the EMERGENCY department or GONE! Get It TOGETHER this is a child's health in your incompetent HANDS... JESUS!! read more

This has to be the worst location ever. So incredibly unsafe. I think a business this large could afford some security (other than cameras which are only useful after the fact if they even check them at all). I saw a guy with a heavy coat on and a back pack who was standing for a long time in front of the liquor area. Although I did not see him actually take anything, he did leave rather quickly and set the alarm off when he exited so, that tells me he did take something. Of course, the lady behind the register was one of only 3 people working; this was around 9:30 at night. One male employee was in the parking lot and another female was in the back area. It just sickens me that all this theft causes honest customers to pay more. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! ...or at least set aside 30-60 minutes every time you need to do anything though the pharmacy. Even if you the first person in line or in the drive through.. God forbid you have a few people ahead. Iv waited close to an hour at times when theres only 3 people ahead of me. If your closer to another one, go there, trust me. This is the closest Walgreens to my house for the past 3 years or so and every single time i go to pick up my meds it takes at lest 30 minutes and I just leave so pissed. All the workers move so slow, are unhappy, and just don't care about anyone in the least bit, it frustrates me and leaves me in a bad mood. Or i wait 30 minutes with one person ahead of me, it never fails. Iv never been so frustrated with workers as i am at this place. You would think after 3 years they would get their $#!+ together but instead its the same thing every time. Every. Single. Time. I wish I could give 0 stars, or negative. My husband and I have been going here for years. The staff is so rude and slow. The only reason we stayed was Mike on the night shift was super fast and nice. And my husband could go after work. Now mike is at another location. They are no longer 24/7 and it seems as though they are slower and even more disrespectful. We are switching to CVS. read more

Why he continues to use this pharmacy, I gave no idea as he complains about the wait every time he has to pick up scripts also. It really is ridiculous. I'm in disbelief with the pharmacy department. I was given 5 prescriptions to be filled a couple weeks before my surgery. I had dropped off the prescriptions (a 20 minute wait through the drive through) just to drop off and I had opted into the text message when ready. An hour and a half later I had received the text that it was ready. I began making my way there when I received the text that it was now delayed. A bit frustrating since I was almost there but no big deal. So, I ran some more errands and received the text message an hour later that it was ready again. I pulled up to the window, waited 25 minutes, was the second car in the right hand lane. Once I was helped I was told that one of my prescriptions was to large for the tubes so the lady told me to come in and she would take me immediately. That was nice. So jumped to the front, and she kept her promise. But arriving inside I still waited 15-20 minutes because one of the prescriptions wasn't ready and they were having issues with their computer system. So that whole time I was holding the line, while the lady ran around like a chicken with her head cut off. The drive through was being neglected- they didn't even get one customer on either line through while I was being helped. I was in no rush, so not a big deal for me. But you could see some people's pain in their faces, and besides the lady helping me there was no sense of urgency from any other workers.... Fast forward a couple weeks now. The day before surgery I was to start taking antibiotics and steroids for the healing. In the steroid package there was supposed to be 8 pills, upon opening there was only 4!!! I had opened up the package at 11:30 pm, so this particular Walgreens was closed. So I called the 24 hour one and they said just go back to this location whenever I could, since it's not a pain pill it shouldn't be an issue. Ok no worries. I took two of the pills. The next day I woke up and went straight to surgery, no time for the pharmacy, and no way I'm going into surgery and waiting at a pharmacy after. Now having completed the 4 pills, and with no time to pick up the remaining steroids I decided to wait till the next day. So the next day I HAD to have the meds to keep on track with the regiment. So when I woke up I went straight there and explained the mix up. I had brought the medicine bottle, paper that explained the drug with a refill paper and also my receipt. I went back to the drive through bc I'm still post surgery and don't want to walk inside. Shockingly, no wait! Score!!! So I pull up- explain the situation. Lady helping me, " nothing we can do because it's over a week. In order for us to do something with the missing pills we will have to look at the cameras." I asked, " how long will that take?" She replies, " no idea, the managers gotta do it." "Okay, no big deal, in the meantime I will go ahead and just get it refilled, (the paper clearly states one refill), while your manager reviews the tapes." You can't do that," she responds. I say, "What are you talking about? It clearly states there is a refill, I need the steroids. I just had surgery yesterday, and I need it." "Oh yeah there's a refill, I didn't see it. Well it's not ready!" "Obviously. I'm just now dropping it off. How long do you think?" "An hour". I leave. When I get the text message a couple hours later, I rush over. Drive thru has 4 cars in each line so J decide to suck up the pain and go inside because I also want to speak face to face with the manager... Once inside I'm at the pharmacy window, and who I presume to be the pharmacy manager is the one that actually is assisting me. I then explain the situation that I had explained to the cashier earlier. She brushes me off, " oh I heard something about that earlier, I'm the one that will review the tapes." "Ok, so when will you look at it?" "I don't know, I've been too busy today- and I was supposed to be off hours ago. My brain is off and I'm not going to soak in anything that's said. I've got to be here early in the morning tomorrow." I didn't say anything else after that. In disbelief I paid for my meds. $2.65 for the 8 pills. A different perspective... All of this over $1.33 for 4 pills. Still in shock with how this has all been handled, it's not the money, it's the principal. I'd be screwed if I didn't have a refill, and the pharmacy would care less if I didn't have my pills. I will never bring my business back here. read more

I have to given the Pharmacy 5/5 for a few reasons. I had been having back and abdominal pain for about 20 hours before going to the St. Rose ER and discovering I had a kidney stone. Pharmacies were not open upon my discharge, so I had to wait until morning to fill my prescriptions. Here is why 5/5: 1. They open at 7:00, not 10:00 like the others. 2. I was greeted by a very friendly, kind woman who could have sent me away or told me I had to pay cash for my 4 medications, but she didn't. She kept trying different solutions in the computer until she found my insurance information. 3. The pharmacist was as also kind and friendly. He not only gave me the required medication conference, but counseled me on how to prevent this condition in the future. I sure wish they were a 24 hour pharmacy, especially since I had been across the street the night before. Being located across the street from a hospital emergency room, and if they were the only pharmacy open in the area, would ensure a constant stream of customers. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. This location will now be my pharmacy of choice. read more

I have always used this Walgreens for all my photo prints but today was definitely the last time, my original order had to be canceled because nobody knew how to make it which was not the end of the world I know stores are short staffed and took that into consideration, so I reordered something that they would know how to make and was told it would be ready by the end of the day, called a few hours before closing and was told it wasn't going to be ready until the next day fast forward to the next day my husband went to pick the order up and was told it needed to be paid for even though it was already paid for, the manager was unprofessional and just flat out trashy in the way she handled the situation horrible customer service do yourself a favor and go elsewhere read more

24 hour pharmacy since it is located right across from St. Rose Dominican Hospital. This location stays pretty busy, but is just your typical Walgreen's. Nothing exciting or special. It is located at a pretty busy intersection of Lake Mead Pkwy and Boulder Hwy, and parking can be kind of tight in front of the store, so keep that in mind. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. Their incompetence almost matches their bad, nasty attitude. The first experience I said mistakes happen, and we all have bad days. The second time I still gave them the benefit of the doubt but the third time was it, three strikes your out. Whether over the phone, or in person, at least they're consistent with their nasty attitude and incompetence. How ironic the place I'm picking up high blood pressure meds, sent my blood pressure skyrocketing. I'll be taking my business down the street. Had to come to the MedExpress at Walgreens twice today, pretty good experience both times I give it five out of five

I went in to get a new prescription and the entire pharmacy department was terrible. They were hostile, unhelpful, and rude. Top it off , they ended up not filling my prescription yet leaving it in the system so I couldn't even get it filled at the cvs up the street... leaving me unable to get my prescription that I desperately needed.. the Walgreens on blue diamond and Decatur is much better and the staff is awesome, save your headache and go to that location. I will never use that Walgreens services again... read more

This review is for the pharmacy I will not be using Walgreens pharmacy any more. I have received nothing but horrible service from this location. I call in prescriptions and they are seldom ready when we get there. They attempted to overcharged me on 2 recent occasions forgetting to bill my insurance. This mistake could have cost me over a $100 each time. They announce my scripts so loud the whole pharmacy could hear. One is a narcotic for my mother and I don't feel like getting followed home and robbed. Very messy behind the counter, disorganized, and rude quite often. No longer a customer, I will drive out of my way to a competitor. read more
