I used to visit this location here and there when I lived in the area. Mainly because it was convenient after my Planet Fitness workout. Now, I do not get here often at all since I do not live nearby anymore. I visited again for the first time in years when my niece needed to pick up her prescriptions and only went through the drive thru. I will have to say that they had extreme patience with my niece considering one of her dogs would not shut up while they were trying to explain her meds to her. They remained very polite and professional. The last time I stepped foot in here was years upon years ago, but it was very well kept at that time. I will have to see if that is still the case here in 2026. I plan to move near here soon, so maybe I will post an update to this review, if I ever step foot here again? Well, of course I will. Amazing customer service and true human kindness is an understatement for the team working the CVS pharmacy located at Whitney Ranch in Henderson. Their team has always been wonderful and respectful every time I pick up prescriptions but today made me a little weepy. I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Abbee who went above and beyond for me. After daily headaches for ever eight years, I was finally prescribed a shot that is helping the pain in my head. You can imagine my sadness when I found out it was going to be $700 out-of-pocket just for one shot. I mentioned to her how stressful it not thinking much about it. To my astonishment she came back to the counter with the $700 medication in hand, saying "good news! I got it down to $35!". Variety and service with a smile! I can usually get my bathroom necessities and any last minute items like dog food,too. I like that this location is clean and organized. The staff is helpful. I have to ask for items like my deodorant ,because they are locked up. I understand they have to do it. I feel like all CVS pharmacy locations in town kind of suck. This one specifically the drive thru lines are ridiculous. I've waited over 30 minutes in line here before. Sometimes you have to push the "ring" button multiple times before anyone even comes to the window. If you go inside it's just about the same. The inside of this location isn't pretty, it's not somewhere I would WANT to go. As for the positives, they do return phone calls pretty quickly and will get meds filled same day when you need them so that's why my review is 3 stars. read more

I understand it's probably a crazy busy time right now, with the Holidays in full swing, but I wish CVS would hold customer service training for their employees. Heidi, the pharmacist, helped me out , and I am immensely grateful for that. However , she was incredibly rude and actually hung up on me. Someone should remind her that she deals with sick people and sometimes we have trouble hearing. She snapped at me and hung up on me as I was apologizing. Look, if you can't be a decent human, especially in a field like medicine, whether you had the chops to be a doctor, or was only able to rise to working in a pharmacy, then maybe it's time to find a place where you don't have to feel like striking out at cancer patients (like me). I do not know what has happened with the quality of service in the Pharmacy of this CVS. It has completely fallen apart. You call and speak to someone in the Pharmacy and are told your prescription will be ready. You go to pick it up and it was never filled. They never follow up with customers or doctors and just do not care about their customers' well being read more

Customer service is terrible and I told them so. I got a new insurance company on 1/1/25 and decided to use CVS pharmacy for the first time. I went in to ask them to transfer my 11 prescriptions from Walmart on 1/10/25. I was told by a male tech with long dark hair that it would take 2-3 days. No problem I could wait that long. I contacted them by phone which is another ridiculous matter because you can't call and talk to someone. You have to wait for a callback. I spent years with Walgreens pharmacy and the past year with Walmart Pharmacy, who is amazing and I was always able to call and speak to someone right away. I had to change pharmacies due to insurance. But the CVS lady said that they just got my prescriptions from Walmart almost a week later and they would process that day. I don't believe they just got them because Walmart is very efficient. However I said fine and let her know that a couple of my prescriptions are covered under a different insurance. She says yeah yeah we'll take care of it. I thought to myself here we go. Sure enough they didn't process the other two prescriptions and sent a text that they're not covered etc etc. I drove to the store and spoke with a pharmacy tech explaining that I told the previous tech about my coverage and she blew it off so now there's a problem. She asked for my DOB, brought my other prescriptions and rung them up. Not once did she say anything else to me. I asked her if there was a pharmacist. She says yes. I asked what she planned to do about my other two prescriptions that weren't filled. She said that she was going to send me over to the pharmacist when she got done ringing me up. Now maybe my expectations are too high but couldn't she have said ma'am I will ring up these prescriptions and you can speak to the pharmacist when I'm done? I was in disbelief. I told the pharmacist everything that had taken place and stated that their customer service isn't very good. She was so rude and said I heard you repeatedly what would you like me to do. I said fill my prescriptions. I wouldn't have to repeat myself if you all really listen and respond properly. She kept making excuses about everything. I told her that I don't need or want excuses just decent service. She was extremely rude and I told her that I would definitely be giving them a review and complaint. The words sorry or I apologize never came out of her or the technician's mouths. We can't apologize to customers anymore for inconveniences? What has happened to decency. The pharmacist was unable to fill my prescriptions due some technicality on their part yet no apology. I told her to transfer them back to Walmart to which she agreed to do right away. I contacted Walmart and the RXs had not arrived after several hours. I called my doctor to get new RXs and Walmart filled them within an hour. The saddest part about the whole situation is that CVS staff including the pharmacist never offered any apologies for anything only excuses for everything. I'm done with them. read more

I agree with the many negative reviews regarding the pharmacy here. I was just there today. My experience is the same as those who said the pharmacy staff is rude and non-caring. Has anyone noticed the high turn over rate in the pharmacy dept.? I always see new faces behind the counter as well as different pharmacists. There must be a reason for the turn over. Whoever manages the pharmacy needs to open their eyes and see what's going on there. CVS should have closed this store rather than the store that was about 1/2 mile west on Sunset and Arroyo Grande. Pharmacy is a joke. Waited 20 minutes behind a car with no service. 3 cars behind me backed out. I called the pharmacy on the phone and asked if anyone is working the drive tru. Girl responded that" we didn't know anyone was out there" I waited 15 more minutes and backed out and went inside to a third long line of people waiting, while employees including the Pharmacist was talking and yaking away. There's a reason why this pharmacy has a star and a half , nov17 2 pm clearly nobody was running the show . I spent 25 minutes waiting on hold , so I go thru the drive thru trying to fill a prescription (still while on the phone) guy can't help me, tells me to come In, okay , so I go in, the blonde with knuckle tattoos tells me to call the # on my prescription. I said no, just put in for it, tries to tell me something else and I literally repeat myself and she says ok. I asked for the manager, some young Asian guy who has been walking around aimlessly, I asked is it normal to wait on the phone for so long, he said "yup" so now I am asking him why it seems like nobody wants to do their job, he was pretty much the little emoji guy with his hands up . I chose this pharmacy because of its easy to get to location. It is also part of my insurance network, so I decided to give it a try. As I approached the drop off window at the pharmacy, I was greeted right away. However, the woman then looked at her coworker and said 'this is on you, I am out of here'. She proceeded to remove her smock and walk away. The young woman who greeted me next seemed to care less about anything as she snapped away with her gum. The woman who first spoke to me remained in the pharmacy, and continued to talk with the 5 coworkers. That was not a big deal, as the girl helping me continued to enter my information into the system. Continued snapping her gum, and acting as cold as ice. There was no one waiting at the pharmacy, 6 employees standing in the pharmacy chatting, so I was really surprised when I was told that it would be an hour wait. I do realize that it is more than a matter of putting pills into a bottle, as I used to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. That said, the tech had already keyed in my prescription, given me the cost through insurance, and walked back to get the medication. The only thing left was to count them, label the bottle and have the pharmacist check the original script against what was dispensed into the bottle for me. Maybe they had a backlog of prescriptions to fill? Sure, that could have been true. Then why were they all standing around talking? Where were all of the customers? I will give this pharmacy another chance, as I like the location. It would be nice if CVS would require their employees to not chew gum while face to face with the customers. I cannot stand watching someone chewing and snapping their gum, all while open mouthed, while assisting me. Gross. read more

I've used this CVS for about 2 1/2 years the store staff is friendly and always says hello. This review is for the pharmacy. This has to be the worst run pharmacy in southern Nevada. I've never had to deal with a pharmacy that gives such a hassle over filling a prescription. My experience is they're either too lazy or don't have the knowledge to do it. I've been pretty patient with them but they keep closing the drive-through window claiming that it's broken when when the next shift comes on it's ironically working again. I could see the window breaking from time to time but we have infants in the car that are sleeping , you can't just up and walk inside with them. read more

I actually like this location, never had a problem until one day a coupon (extra bucks) didn't work. They told me the coupon was already used but that was not true, I got it 2 days before and save it for that day. I ended up talking to the manager and he told me in a very condescending voice that he was going to authorized that coupon, but it was going to be the first and last time he would do that for me. I was like... wtf??? You see me shopping here all the time, all the employees know me because of that, and now you are implying that I'm trying to scam you with a coupon? Farah is the worst pharmacist I have ever run across. I had 3 new to me medications, that all had difficult instructions so I asked for a consultation, and got Pharmacist Ratched. She practically threw the medication at me, and when I said I really didn't understand she said I should read the literature she gave me, and she was busy and had two doctors waiting on the phone for her. Are you kidding me? Unbelievable. I had to travel, and I'm very sick, to another CVS to get instructions. They were very nice to me. I plan to call corporate and cause as much trouble as I can for this woman. She shouldn't be in this position. She shouldn't be in any position. She shouldn't deal with human beings, since she isn't one. ...Had to go back in the next day, since this pharmacist messed up one of my prescriptions. A customer in drive-thru was asking one of the employees to speak to the pharmacist and she refused to go to the window. She told the employee to tell the man he was done (as if that's up to her). When the employee said he had another question she still wouldn't move to the window, she told the employee to ask him what he wanted. How long until this woman kills someone? Long live Long's drugs.... I really hated CVS when they bought out Hawaii's favorite drug store, and then they continue with the closing of the Stephanie/Warm Springs location. Heck, I even signed the petition to save the last Long's drugs in Las Vegas, but CVS decided to mess with the program. At least CVS didn't change the name in Hawaii, and Walgreen still haven't put dent into the island market, due to name recognition that Longs developed for decades of serving Hawaii. I have to give this location a high five, because of the Hawaiian section that stocked instore, and has better prices than the Walgreen down the street at the Mall perimeter. Anyplace that stocks Frank food's Portuguese sausage, Hurricane Popcorn, and POG is alright with me. Also, the number four video pokers machine payout like a ATM machine for me. There a little understaffed, but an extra minute won't kill me, because I usually look through the middle aisle at the closeout section, and scope out some cheap birthday present for the ones I really don't care for. read more

In the drive up you wait a minimum of 30 minutes, that's if you are the second car in line. I waited inside last time 40 minutes. I am not sure what they have done, but they need to undo it!! Zero stars if I could. Last night I bought my toddler a 6pk of the Horizon Organic Vanilla low fat milk and didn't realize it was expired until I got back to my hotel. So I called them to let them know they had expired milk on their shelves. The manager I spoke to that morning said he was sorry and was going to pull it and that I could come back and exchange or get my money back (didn't get his name but it was morning shift). Well I went back that afternoon (4p) and I was trying to exchange it and pay the difference for pediasure. Well they did not want to refund or exchange the expired product! The manager I believe his name is Ryan, he refused to give me my money back or even exchange the milk. He pretty much said we can't do anything for you it's not our fault you bought the milk. OMG! I asked him what am I supposed to do with this expired milk that you had on your shelf? He just shrugged his shoulders. Smdh . He said try a different cvs . I was furious. Thank you CVS. I went to this store to refill my water bottles at the little glacier machine. They have one parking spot up front available that isn't a handicapped spot that is right by it. As everyone knows 5 gallons of water if pretty heavy as well as awkward and not something you want to haul across the parking lot. I waited in my car for some other people to finish filling their bottles..... they got in a car parked several cars away?? I parked as close as I could. I filled my bottles. Still nobody came out and got in the car parked in that closest space?? I also noticed that it was backed in....hmmmm. So I figured that it was an employee. I walked inside and asked. Yep. The young man who was back in liquor kind of gave me an attitude about it and asked why? I explained. He told me that the lady that owns the vehicle is handicapped. OK? I asked why doesn't she park in one of the 4 spaces provided. He, with even more attitude now, told me that Management told her not to, to keep those available for the handicapped customers. I have been coming to this location for over a year and have NEVER seen more than one of those spots used at a time. I would NEVER want to prevent a handicapped person from being able to park on top of the door to make their life easier. I don't think that Management has the right to tell that employee that she can't park there if anyway..... I mean seriously people!!!!! If it that important to you ask Glacier to move their machine down a few spots. But between you treating your employees this way and your employee treating me this way, you have lost this customer. I went there one day two pick up some prescriptions and this lady named Jackie H who will not wear a name tag along with her other employee friend because of their actions towards the customers and the complaints that they get they prefer to not wear their name tags so I asked the pharmacist named Lauren what is the lady's name that was rude to me and would not help me while I was at the counter. Jackie H. Upset because I tried to explain to her the situation days before that had occurred and she would just Jackie thought that she knew what I was going to say. Zero stars. I go to pick up medication for my ill son. The pharmacist says there is nothing here. I ensured him that two prescriptions were dropped off and I was told that they would be ready at 5pm. It's now 6pm. He tells me to leave and he will call me when he gets ahold of the employee that has already left for the day. Really ? My son is sick and needs these meds. Now my son had to wait to feel any better while these guys find clues to what happened with these prescriptions. Finally find out where they were but had wrong date of birth so now they say they do not have the correct insurance info even though the card was given at the time of dropping off. This CVS is so conveniently located for me. The service in the store has always been good, no matter how busy the associates are, they always greet incoming customers. The pharmacy itself used to have a couple rude people back there, but I have not seen them in a few months, and everyone else has been fantastic. I've been going to this pharmacy since I moved here, and normally they are pretty decent. Pharmacies are always miserable, and they are a step above Walgreen's. However, I had three prescriptions to be filled today. They asked when I wanted to pick them up. I told them I would wait. They said it won't be ready until 11:15am (it was around 9:30am at the time). So, I told them I would be back then. I was almost a half hour late getting back over there, arriving at 11:40am. They still were not ready. They only had two pharmacists working this morning. They claimed they were overwhelmed today. They were not very apologetic. Customer service IS NOT a priority at this CVS...at least not in the main section. The pharmacy is adequate. I came in to buy a mascara. I chose one by Physician's Formula because the display case had a large banner reading, "$2.00 Off Instantly". This was actually on two sections of the display. I took my intended purchases to the check out and inquired about getting a CVS card. Cashier: You don't have one? Me: No, not yet. Cashier: *takes one out as an example* You don't have one of these? Me: No, but I'd like to sign up for one now, please. She was fine after that and did give me the rundown on the benefits of the card. Apparently those things are a hot commodity. (?) After she rang me up I checked the receipt and saw I'd been charged full price for the mascara. I told her about the instant discount and she asked me to show her the display. I did so and she said she didn't know how to ring it and would need the manager. No problem. Mr. Manager arrives on the scene and inspects the display. He then goes to the back of the store and returns moments later saying each individual box of mascara should have had a coupon on it, but someone removed them all and he knew who it was. (Kaiser Soze?) He asked if I'd still like the mascara. I said I would, but with the discount. He said he could not do that because there was no coupon. I pointed out that the display didn't indicate "$2.00 Off Instantly With Coupon". He replied that it was obvious that there should have been coupons on the boxes, indicating a piece of clear tape on the box. Evidently where there's tape, there's coupons. I told him I believed he was obligated by law to honor his display. ((has this law been changed??)) He refused and gave me my money back. Evidently it is better to lose a customer and a $10.00 sale than to honor what is posted and lose $2.00 and retain a customer. Taking my cash I said that I assumed he'd be removing the display now. "Oh, yes..to avoid any further confusion" Hmmm...who's confused? I have never written a review on yelp before but I feel compelled because of the horrible customer service I have experienced there. I have been going to their pharmacy for a year and they have never filled my prescription correctly, not once! Then when I call to tell them I wasn't given the appropriate amount of medication they act rude or frustrated with me.
