This 4 stars is for Megan, the store manager here. I sent an order for photo cards and this is my 4th time doing to to CVS and Walgreens and all 4x, there's something wrong with the cards. It is quite frustrating. Once the color was very very off, the next time per recommendation I printed photo print and it cannot be double-sided. The last two times there was smudging on the prints. I stated I was very frustrated. I wanted to see the cards first before I paid. And this time, the cards had smacking on both sides. Megan stated that it is from their printer and not from what we sent in. I explained to her I cannot get this and will need to share with my daughter as these are her graduation invitations. I stood there for a good 5-6 minutes, exchanging with my daughter to decide not to purchase them. Making it totally understood my frustration. She actually offered to provide it to me for free so that I can show my daughter when I get home. This was so unexpected. I took the cards, knowing we will not use it, but wanting to show my daughter at home. I appreciate Megan's understanding of the situation. Definitely not my usual Walgreens, but may come back in the area for the great service. read more

I came into Walgreens to pick up a prescription as well as drop off a FedEx package. The lady behind the photo counter where the FedEx drop off is was tied up helping another gentleman and she told me she'd be with me in a minute so I took that time to go get my prescription filled. to my surprise she walked up to me while I was in line scanned my package and picked it up from me. that was exceptional customer service as she could have just waited for me to come back but provided an extra effort and extra customer service to come and take care of me instead of me having to come back to the counter. thank you for that amazing customer service experience. My insurance company contacted the pharmacist because I was in need of emergency medication. The RV I was living in was stolen with all my belongings including my meds. Insurance gave me a phone number for the pharmacist call to reject the order. After the clerk talked to the pharmacist, they refused to do anything to help me! Walgreens pharmacy sucks!!!! I had surgery that got infected, burst open and drained the most horrible stuff. Had surgery again and had the implanted device in my stomach removed and the infection washed out. It now requires yards of gauze packing into the ginormous hole in my gut!! I'm in pain management for a chronic issue in my back and was prescribed additional for my surgery. They filled it. After the second surgery I called to get a second prescription (on a Thursday). Today is Monday and I still can't get either medication. I have been through hell this weekend and Walgreens couldn't care less. If you have a choice...DON'T GO TO WALGREENS. A few years ago they almost killed me dispensing the wrong medication to me. I was so sick for months!!! If you don't have a choice, may God have mercy on you. Cynthia is very rude. Let's start off with her, eating and ringing people up with no sense of customer service skills. Seemed bothered when I approached her. I almost felt like there was a hidden camera somewhere and I was being pranked. Horrible attitude for absolutely no reason; if you hate your job so much perhaps you should look for a new one. The pharmacy is even worse, they have never had any of my prescriptions ready on time. They always tell me to come back in an hour and then when I do they're still working on them or they tell me they're out of the meds I'm waiting for. This pharmacy has a rule that only one person, the pharmacist, can fill opioid prescriptions. My spouse had surgery this morning and his prescription for pain was sent around 1030am. They still haven't filled it at 415 pm. I have them he'll and they said we can have it in a half hour. Ha we'll see. I am definitely moving my prescriptions from this place. They obviously couldn't care less if a person is suffering after surgery. read more

If I could give Walgreens Pharmacy ZERO STARS I would. Four prescriptions over two weeks and all not available because "we have to order it," then "our delivery's late," and after that "it won't be ready until tomorrow." All the employees at this location need some serious customer service training, they're so rude! I went in this morning to return an item I didn't end up needing. Brand new, not open, with receipt no indication for them to start treating me like a thief! I understand people steal and try to return things but I had a receipt. The cashier started making snark remarks about how I purchased it at a Walgreens location far from this one and how it was purchased more than 2 weeks ago. How is that any of her business? Walgreens is a chain I should be able to return anywhere I please and within the 30 days of purchase. After she processed the return back to my card she rips my original receipt in from of me! I asked her why she did that?!?! She asks me "well what do you need it for, you already returned." I don't think it's any of her business, I had other things on that receipt and I gave her that replied and than she says well why didn't you bring it to return if you plan to return it. This walgreens is terrible. I go to pick up a prescription and he says come back in an hour.now they were sent to pharmacy at 11 this morning. Ok so I leave and go back in 2 hours they say oh sorry we won't have it till tomorrow .. This is a breathing prescription.... The doctor said to start immediately or you will be in the hospital .made him an appointment to come back in 2 days to see if he is better or he would be in the hospital.... This Walgreens pharmacy is unbelievably incompetent. They never have my prescriptions ready when they are supposed to be and it is always due to their incompetence. Just tried to pick up a med that was supposed to be ready 2 days ago and was told it wasn't ready due to not having any refills and needing to contact dr. I knew this didn't sound right and when the pharmacy tech checked the system he found out some incompetent employee was looking at an old prescription and that I in fact did have refills available for my prescription. So, because of their screw up I had to be inconvenienced to either wait or go home and drive back again to get my med. The employee was rude about it and offered no apology for the inconvenience to me due to their f$$$ up! read more

Just want people to be aware, that the last time I tried to get a prescription filled, they tried to rip me off. I got an RX from my doctor that was not covered by insurance. Did a little checking on price and Costco wanted somewhere around $29.00 for a 30 day supply of pills. Since the Walgreen's is closer to my home I stopped by this place and asked a lady in the pharmacy for a price. She quoted me $106.00 for a 30 day supply. Amazed, I mention the price at Costco and she replied with a smart a** tone in her voice "well, then go to Costco". I then moved all 4 of my prescriptions out of this Walgreen's to Costco and I've never been back. Just remember. The drug companies are not the cause all of the drug ripoff's we are faced with. We are traveling and needed to refill some prescriptions. I checked online and Walgreens has a good national program for their pharmacy. We stopped at this location because it was closest to where we were staying. We had to come back 4 times to complete the transaction to transfer 5 prescriptions to Walgreens from our hometown pharmacy. The staff seemed very busy and was quick to answer and send us on our way without listening to what we were asking. They finally ended up not filling all 5 and we had to go to a different Walgreens to get the last one before we left town. They took our insurance card, but didn't get the pharmacy info the first time and could not run our insurance without us coming back in. As far as the store shopping, we bought a few things and didn't have any issues. We also used the ATM at this location. read more

Walgreens is going downhill. It use to have EXCELLENT Customer service. The purple haired cashier is very rude. Never says "thank you" to the customer. As a matter of fact, we say thank you TO HER and she doe not even care to thank us for being a customer. Also, Each time you buy something on sale, there is a chance it will ring up as regular price, so BE SURE to check the prices before paying. Walgreens at several locations do this. Nic (the purple haired lady as referred to in previous reviews) was super helpful in getting me a third vaccine (booster for transplant) and helping me get a new vaccination card. I flat REFUSE to get my scripts filled here after the following experiences in the past 60 days. 1: Lost prescriptions. I turned in a script that I was not able to fill for a week. Granted the staff can put the item back into inventory. But in this case they didn't just put the item back into inventory they completely lost the script from their system. Which is weird because the Walgreens app showed the script, but since it wasn't in their system they couldn't help me. 2: I pick up a script for someone that has an injectible medication. As part of filling that script we pick up a supply of syringes. For the last two prescriptions instead of providing the correct syringe and needle combinations that competing pharmacies seem to have no problem getting right, they sent out insulin syringes. Which is great if that's what's being injected but in this case its not. On top of that the difference in the needle length has caused significant swelling at the injection site causing more pain and problems than are necessary. But the "trained professional pharmacy staff" doesn't seem to care and can't provide the correct syringes that again their competition can do without fuss. 3: Lines: Especially since K-Mart closed the peak time wait here at both the drive-up and walk-in lines has reached 20, even 30 minutes at times. And even with 3 staff members working the counter it's still painfully slow to get a script filled here. If you need a script filled in the SE part of Henderson, please be aware that there are other pharmacies without the excessive wait times. And the competition doesn't seem to lose scripts, and knows the details of the injectable products they're selling. 1 Star. We moved our prescriptions elsewhere. Unless I need something over the counter in a hurry, this place might as well not exist for my family. read more

There is never enough staff and they are constantly calling in people from all over the Walgreens store to constantly fill in but there is no true organization or knowledge at this location. On another note, I will be calling and filing a complaint with my insurance company and with Walgreens directly regarding the pharmacist on duty 4/13. When someone's emergency medication runs out be kind, instead of telling someone where the refill number is without even turning your head to make eye contact is not only rude and disrespectful but also spits in the eye of the Hippocratic oath. Sir if you are unhappy in your current profession might I recommend a new industry or a behind the scenes role instead of being condescending to customers and patients. You are in a double customer service role, I think perhaps there might be a role better suited to your lack of a bedside manner. read more

Not the best neighborhood or a store I frequent, but I've stopped here a few times when in the area. I found the employees to be helpful and willing to help me find things when necessary. They have a pretty good clearance section too, this store seems to have a little better selection in their clearance than most of the stores I've checked for clearance stuff recently. That helps when you have 20 Register Rewards to redeem! The parking lot is a little goofy too. read more

This pharmacy is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. One person to serve a long line of in store shoppers and a drive through. The ridiculousness of the sloth-like speed of the sole clerk only exacerbates the problem. I have to pick up prescriptions for my elderly parents here, otherwise I would rather pay more at another location.
