The store itself is fine. It's what I always would expect from a Walgreens. The pharmacy, however, is garbage. Between myself and my family, we usually end up filling somewhere around 10-15 prescriptions a year. 100% of the time there is issues with the pharmacy. Either the medication is out of stock, or it's not ready on time, or the pharmacy is understaffed. Recently got sick of it and had my prescription sent to a pharmacy about 2 miles farther away from my house and they came through with flying colors. I would love to be able to give a good review, but the pharmacist at this location, which is literally across the street from us, is in desperate need of finding a job more suitable to her personality. Which my suggestion has already been, ANY JOB, that doesn't deal with the public. She is literally the worst excuse for a pharmacist ever presented to mankind. I went to get my passport photo taken. Worse experience ever. I wasn't greeted with a hello Or what can I help you with. I was stared at for a moment until I asked can I take my passport photo here. I wasn't given an answer. The gentlemen grab a camera and pulled a back drop down. Still no words spoken. I went to the back drop and didn't even know my photo was being taken.. my eyes are partial closed in my photo. I wish there was some consideration that this photograph will be on my passport for years. I will be getting my passport photo redone somewhere else. Just wasted $15. read more

Unbelievable! It's bad enough that the lines at the pharmacy, inside and out, are ridiculously long and most of the time only one person at the counter, but now it is CLOSED for lunch? Very Poor Management. The thing to do is staff appropriately and stagger the lunch breaks. Also....for months now the labels on my meds have shown 0 refills. I get notifications to pick up new refills and each time they say 0 refills. How am I supposed to know how many more I have left??? VERY POOR MANAGEMENT! read more

The pharmacy should be closed at this location. They are the most incompetent staff I have ever had to deal with. Besides being the slowest even when there are five or more working there, they can never retrieve your information, I've been going there well over two years and every time I go there my name can't be found. I use the other Walgreens location for my prescriptions, which I HATE (that place is horrible). After reading other reviews, I just may switch to this location and give it a try. I've only been in here to pick up odds and ends. We were 1 group of lights short for our Christmas tree and ran here to get more. The prices were a little outrageous and there wasn't much of a selection, so we ended up running over to K-Mart. I always feel like they are under staffed. I've had to wait in line for upwards of 15 minutes before. Seems strange, since nobody is really buying THAT much stuff. Overall, a pretty standard Walgreens. read more

I changed to this pharmacy out of convenience and due to the wonderful Kmart pharmacy closing down nearby. I went 5 different times to this pharmacy and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as each time there was some issue that occurred. EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to this pharmacy, no matter the day of the week or time, there was always a line. I'm sure it's mainly due to the volume of customers, but there have also been times when there was only one employee behind the counter. So, expect to wait in line. There have also been mistakes by the pharmacy. I dropped off 4 scripts one time and they filled 3. When I asked about the fourth, they didn't know there was one and apparently lost it. 3 out of the 5 times I went, the drugs I needed were out of stock. The convenience of text alerts, a drive through (which you'll wait in line for some time for), and the friendliness of the staff are the only acceptable things about this location. Walgreen's has pretty much become the king of the drug store industry in the last few years. And when you pay them a visit, it isn't hard to see at all why. It's literally a one-stop shop for just about all of your needs. This particular Walgreen's is the closest one to the house, and is located conveniently at the Boulder and Horizon/Racetrack intersection. It is right across the street from a K-Mart, and is far more convenient and useful, if you ask this reviewer. Walgreen's has a little bit of everything - groceries, candy, as-seen-on-TV products, beauty supplies, and a full-service pharmacy. Additionally, the place has several budget movies and gift cards for a wide variety of other retailers.The sheer variety of things offered here makes them an ideal one-stop shop for various needs you may have. This store even has a Redbox location right out front (though that is becoming increasingly more common with a number of businesses.) If you're into candy, pay this place a visit the day after a holiday (Christmas, Valentine's, Easter, etc.) They put all their candy from said holiday on clearance, and you can score some great deals. Quite honestly, I have no major complaints about this place, but there isn't quite anything that makes it overly stand out, either. Service is always good, but again, I haven't quite had the true five-star experience in here either. There are Walgreen's stores everywhere these days, so regardless of where in town you are, there is bound to be one near you. I have never gone into one and been overly disappointed in any way. This place got to be the premier drug store in America for a reason, and it shows with each visit. Any Walgreen's store in this town comes highly recommended. read more

This is our family Walgreens. I love this Walgreens along with my children and we love all of the employees. The store is clean, always stocked and following covid safety measures. Occasionally we go to another Walgreens if we are in another area and so far this is our favorite for reasons of stocked items, cleanliness, and employees. The pharmacy is the best around, employees are on it and work very hard and are always friendly and helpful even on a day when I was not so nice just due to my not understanding their express pay app. I won't use any other pharmacy around as our CVS on Horizon Pharmacy is a mess on many occasions and employees are not trained well and have made many errors on our prescription refills which is scary thinking about other errors they may have made and then they cannot explain the error or say one thing in the drive thru and then another if you call. read more

12 people in line at the pharmacy, 7 cars waiting outside. I asked the manager if he could send Someone back to help the single person working the register. His response was "no, I have no one that can work there" I look around and there is 3 staff standing around. I then ask if they can't do it can you come back and help. He says, "no, I'm busy watching the front of the store." I look around and there is 1 person being helped at register. He then pretends to look like he is doing something as I walk away. Took an hour to get served at pharmacy and only a few of my prescriptions were filled after putting in order 7 hours earlier. read more

After having a bad experience at this store I wrote several letters to the management of this store about it and got absolutely no response. Walgreens does not seem to care about their customers. I think the biggest problem with this pharmacy is that it is just too busy. They should limit the amount of people they service at their pharmacy because they cannot adequately service everyone that shows up. I think there should be a law that pharmacies can only accept so many customers depending on the amount of employees they have to service them. I know many more people are using this store than in the past because many insurance companies will no longer let their customers use mail order services. This is very inconvenient when you have 15 different scripts and half the time the pharmacy can't fill them all so you end up going back to the store at least five times in one month to pick up orders they couldn't fill the first time. Then all the prescriptions are ready on different days. What a waste of time. There is a CVS about two miles down the road from this store on Lake Mead Dr. that is never busy, and so far their customer service has been great. I hate to tell people about it because I really don't want this store to get busy. But it is well worth the extra 2 miles to not have to wait half an hour or to have to come back five times to get all your medications. read more

Had my doctor call in my prescriptions for early release. The pharmacist Alexandra O'Shea was very rude to my doctor and was questioning him about my meds. When I called her she said she would know longer be servicing me. Was also rude to me! Who does this lady think she is? I'm on this meds because I have to be. What gives her the right to question my doctor? I am boycotting all WALGREENS and turning her into the pharmacist board. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever used. In nine months, they have yet to fill my prescriptions correctly. Every time is something new or some new excuse and no one can answer why? I just got to the hospital and wanted to fill my pain prescription, over 2 hours before they could complete the prescription... I asked them if they fill pain prescriptions before allergy prescriptions. The pharmacy manager stated "yes but she had 30 other pain prescriptions in front of her"... I found that extremely hard to believe. I took my prescription to Savon, less than a quarter-mile away. They had me in and out in less than 20 minutes... If I could give 0 stars I would. Spent an hour and a half on hold to refill a script last night ended up driving to the store and sitting in line for more than half an hour while still on hold. All for a birth control script was told ready by 11am the next day. Low and behold showed up at the pharmacy stood in line for another half an hour after noon just to be told to have a seat it was not ready. This place is a joke. read more

I come here every month for refills on medication. This is the only pharmacy I get refills from. It's literally like down the street from where I live. Love their drive thru service! The other reason why I also do a walgreen's stop is for their over-the-counter makeup when I need it. I've had to do some downgrading on my makeup for the past year & the BOGO 50% off sales help quite a bit. Seasonal stuff is good as well. The cashiers i've come across are very very nice. The one thing that would make this walgreen's location much more awesome is if they sold Hawaiian products like some of the other walgreen's out here in Henderson. I'm from Hawaii so when I need certain ingredients or craving some hawaiian snacks, it would be nice if I can go to the one close to my house to get them. read more

My mother and I have been coming here for the past twenty years. It has always been our primary place for our prescriptions. In the last three years this place has gone downhill. We have experienced nothing but inconveniences- especially in this last year alone. They forget to fill our prescriptions, or lose them. On top of that, when I go to pickup my prescriptions I have to plan on being there for at least a half hour. The staff used to be so efficient and friendly- they would know us on a first name basis. however with the new staff they are nothing but rude and sour. While standing in line, I've noticed every other person in line feels the same way as we chat and wait to be called. I am writing this review while in line. In fact I was able to download the app create an account and write this while remaining number three in line. It hasn't moved for 20 minutes. It took 32 minutes to pick it up this afternoon. Even though it's convenient it looks like time to take any future prescriptions to Kmart across the street. this walgreens really sucks. i am a disabled from back injuries cause by a service related injury. every sense walgreen was busted and fined 80,000,000...yes 80 million for illegally selling opioids they have become real ahs about filling pain meds. i just went into walgreens on s. boulder...this pharmacist started questing me about a scrip that i just had fill on 1/17. she got upset when i told her that was bs. she continued to challenge me until she realized she was looking at a scrip from 2017. a year ago. by this time i was starting to trigger and shake. i tried to explain that i have ptsd from combat..but she assumed i was a druggie then refused me service. this is not the first time that ptsd is mistaken for drug withdraws...i hate it...its just like being accused of being a baby killer when i came back to the world 50 years ago....walgreens sucks. read more

This Walgreens location is a joke. Prescriptions take forever to be filled no reason why when I call in an rx in and a week later I'm told it will be just another 5 minutes. Drive thru lines are a mess...you wait a good amount of time and someone drives up to the outer lane and they are helped away. You go in and there is a huge line and even calling "I see 3" does nothing. Then 2 employees walk away past the huge line. Getting thru on the phone LOL I've been hung up in numerous times. It is hit and miss. The store itself I tend to like - decent selection and good clearance. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The pharmacy, however, must be terribly under-staffed. There is always a long wait no matter the size of the line, they need one person on the drive-up and two more inside at the very least (not including pharmacists). They are the only place around, after 4 other pharmacies, that had pain medication - with the new government restrictions, though, it can be very hard to get those now and that's not so much the pharmacy as it is the government making the mistake of thinking regulating pain meds will stop abuse - sorry, had to stop to laugh a second since the new regs only stop people who actually need the meds from getting them when they need them and don't stop any of the abusers of the meds from getting them but might make them more expensive on the black market, which will put more money in drug dealer pockets but that's about all the restrictions really do. read more
