I've usually had good experiences with Erica, as you can see from my past 5-star reviews. However, things have changed over the last two appointments. I hesitated to go back after noticing some red flags during my previous visit, but I decided to give her another chance. Unfortunately, this last visit confirmed my concerns. After washing my hair a few days later, I realized how uneven and poorly done the cut was. When I expressed my disappointment and mentioned that I wouldn't be recommending her anymore, she became defensive. It was clear something was off, and I was right. The cut was so uneven that when I went to another salon to get it fixed, the stylist was shocked. Her supervisor even had to step in to correct it and mentioned she had never seen anything so bad before. Thankfully, they were able to fix it, but it was quite a crazy situation. My new stylist was also surprised and asked, "What happened?" It looked like someone had randomly hacked at my hair. read more

They never answer the phone. I left numerous messages asking to make an appointment for a haircut. No one bothered to call me back. After 3 straight days of calling and leaving messages with my phone number I gave up. I would not recommend Bridgewater-New Vision Salon on College Drive in Henderson. Called fairly desperate for a trim and Erica was able to get me in with in a few days. I have a lot of hair and Erica washed and dried and cut my hair so fast! I love to get in and out so I was pleased to learn she does dry cuts as well. I'm pleased with my trim, loved our conversation , and am happy to say I've found a new hair queen! My sister is visiting and she was kind enough to also fit her in while she is here. The salon is clean and adorable inside. Wow. I was torn, but now I'm not. Stephanie, you are a great person but your work "this time" did not show that. I'm wondering how the pictures I took seem "suspicious"? That's a pretty ballsy thing to say especially since you tried to fix that exact problem 3 separate times and YOU even pointed out that it didn't look right and that you would cut down the price BECAUSE of that. As far as "no hair stylist ever getting my hair right", I'm not sure who you heard that from, but it wasn't me. The charging too much was true, however, you charged me $100 for a job that WASN'T DONE. I would rather pay too much and have my hair perfect, than pay to leave with my roots still showing. And I'm wondering why you say that you, "always use bleach" when after the first round of treatment I asked you "Did you use bleach?" and you told me EXPLICITLY, "I DON'T USE BLEACH." !?!??!? I showed three different people the picture of my hair after I left your salon and ALL of them told me that I should not have paid. And they're right, I really shouldn't have. But I did because I know you tried and I liked you as a person. As far as a personal attack on me for being a "beauty school drop-out", I don't know how you think insulting me was warranted by my review, but let me just say that INSULTING past clientele is bad for business. Mindy did an super super amazing job on my hair. I've only gotten my hair done on holidays back in Pittsburgh and have been unhappy lately with my hair and I found this salon on yelp! I felt like a different person! We both agreed I could have walked out the door halfway through her drying it without her styling it and it would have looked awesome! Bridgett is the owner and a true artist! She is very sensitive to the customer's wants and gave me a cut with tips to keep it looking great! I was very skeptical about going to a salon because I have never been. A friend of mine had convinced me to try it out and referred me to Bridgett, which was not a mistake at all! She is very friendly and knows exactly what she is talking about. I decided to try out extensions since I had cut my hair, but had no idea how to put them in at all. Unfortunately I can not continue with a positive review of this location. It is sad because I received a great hair cut. I went in yesterday for another cut and some fun color added. When it was all done it looked like some one stuck a purple toupee on my head. Needless to say i only noticed a bit of an issue before leaving the shop and as always if you get home and there's any problems you call the salon and the stylist fixes them. Well it didn't even take getting home, when my husband picked me up I knew I had more problems. Went home looked it over and called to explane my unhappiness and get it fixed. The person who did this couldn't fit me in until FRIDAY! four days of looking like this, I don't think so. What really makes me sad, she is the professional and she let me walk out looking this way! The search is over for me. I have found my hairdresser. Stephanie is amazing. Very sweet and knows what she's doing. She listens to what you have to say and gives you the cut style and color you want. I love my new hair. She doesn't try to squeeze 3 other people while your color sets in either. She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. The salon is very clean and I love the way it's decorated. Manicure and pedicure is your thing- no problem. They do that there too. This review is long overdue but I can't say enough about Stephanie! I moved from Texas in December and was not able to make my very last appointment with my stylist of over 25 years. Needless to say, venturing out to find a stylist in a new city is daunting. I checked here on Yelp and read reviews and was impressed with what I read about Stephanie. I have been to her twice now and she is fabulous! I have highlights done and cover up gray. On the first she listened to me and talked me through what she was going to do. Fortunately she used the same products as my previous hairdresser so I was very comfortable. To be safe we did the same color and cut that I have had for years and it turned out great! The second visit I mentioned that I did not like a brassy tone, not that I had one but she changed it up a little and the result was fantastic. I highly recommend Stephanie and feel fortunate to have found her. read more

This is such a cute and very clean little salon. I have been looking for a stylist for a while and my friend recommended Mindee. She is seriously awesome! I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted and she helped me figure it out, and my hair came out better than I had envisioned. She trimmed and did a balayage and I love it. I did not have a positive experience at this salon. I made an appointment for a color to cover gray roots. Susie set an appointment with Bridgett, whom she said would best suit me. Unfortunately she did a less than acceptable job. I went into the salon to show the terrible job. Susie had Bridgett get in touch with me to correct the problem. I actually left the salon without letting her finish the job. Least not to mention it cost me $140 read more

Bridgett is amazing. She mixed my color perfectly just by eyeballing it. She fixed my layers after a little mishap at home, haha. & my bangs were perfect, which always seems like a pain for stylists elsewhere. I have been rocking my blow out she gave me for 4 days with the unite dry shampoo not even having to do any touch up styling (just brushing, of course). Taking a chance, I walked in, was greeted by Bridgett and explained what I was hoping to achieve with nothing more than a vague interpretation and a few Pinterest photos. She knew exactly what I was asking for and was confident in executing it. Upon returning for my appointment, she was punctual and prepared. She nailed it!
