Here's my experience at this 7-Eleven location. I was working on Boulder Highway (pouring the red concrete.) I made my way to 7-Eleven to buy a drink and snacks. I also wanted to heat up a couple of pieces of meat that I brought from home. They denied me access to their microwave. She charged me for ice water in my own cup (which they are not supposed to do especially because I asked the other cashier on the way in if I could fill it up). I was the only person in the store wearing a mask despite the mandate. Someone walked in without their mask on and offered to go get the mask the female cashier with the mask around her neck said that it was ok not to get it...so even when offered an opening for a non confrontational enforcement of the mandate, she said nah screw it and everyone else in here. This is a classic 7-11 with gas pumps. It's busy, so it gets a little dirty but the staff tries hard to keep it clean. Compare this 7-11 against many others around the valley and you'll quickly understand. It's actually a little larger than some 7-11's so it's easier to get around inside. The parking lot is tight so getting to the gas pumps or parking up front can get a little interesting especially if people are not paying attention. As for the staff they have a mix of nationalities working there and while I've seen other customers give those staff members grief, they are some pretty friendly people if you're nice and smile with them. In short, I like this 7-11. Go in without an attitude and chances are you will like it too! On a personal note I don't buy 7-11 gas. That's not a slam on this 7-11, but I had such nightmarish experiences with 7-11 gas in Colorado that left me stranded on Vail Pass in a blizzard that I swore never, ever again no matter what 7-11 it is, anywhere in America. One last thing: in a pinch 2 Taquitos for $2.22 has been a godsend when nothing else is open and your stomach is screaming for something, anything to eat. Oh Thank Heaven indeed! read more

I have a Slurpee addiction, so I've hit up every 7-11 that is within a 5 mile radius of my house. This location is alright. Nothing spectacular about it. It seems like they are always having issues with their Slurpee machines, and some flavors are always shut down. Parking here is a bit rough as well - a lot of traffic seems to go by the area on Horizon, so if you don't time your stop just right, you will be waitin forever to turn left. I go here from time to time. As usual, your debit card won't work at the pump (probably because they want you come inside and buy something). So I go in. There appears to be two people working, both in the back, I guess getting pizza ready for the people in front of me. What's the purpose of a store? To make money isn't it? No one at the register, I wait for a really long time. People in front leave, clerk asks me how I'm doing, I said "I was fine till I came in here". That's all I said. Now he didn't even know what I was upset about because he didn't ask. Then he said "maybe you should learn some patience". I'm a 51 year old disabled veteran, I'm in a lot of pain having to stand there. And I get mouthed off to by a snotty sales boy. I told him maybe he should learn to be a salesman because he obviously doesn't know how to run a retail shop. Then he told me to not come back. I'm sure the owner loves his employees telling people to no shop there. I worked this type of job for many years, First get the money in the register, have someone there helping customers always, the other people will wait for the their food. Not really a fan of 7-eleven's here in the mainland. I'm so used to being spoiled w/ the 7-eleven's in Hawaii because of the REAL & FRESH FOOD you can get there. Here in the mainland, YUK! Anyways, I only go here for gas & if I REALLY need to get a quick drink or snack or maybe a slurpee, i'll come here. I've been inside several times @ this location. Not much though. Workers are alright. They're doing their jobs if anything. The only thing about going here to fill up for gas is that one morning after dropping off my daughter to school, was on my way home but needed to put some gas before getting home. I stopped by here & as usual, used my credit/debit card @ the pump. I put $20 in @ that time. I went home, & was actually checking up on some of my bank/credit card accounts online. I used my paypal debit card when I put gas that morning & when I checked my email, it stated that my paypal card declined an $80 purchase @ that same 7-11 @ that same time. WTH?!?! Freaked me out!!! FRAUD?!?! I was hesitant to go to that 7-eleven for gas for awhile but sometimes I have no choice since it's so close to my house. Later, I learned about fraud happening @ the gas pumps on the news all over the place. GEEZ!!! I've been getting receipts for every gas transaction I do every since & wait for the pumps to reset once i'm done before I drive away. Just in case. This was MY FAVORITE AND ONLY 7ELEVEN I would shop at and that's why I gave an extra star, otherwise I'd only give them one. I was visiting the store today to check and make sure that my kids had made it there safely since it was their first time walking there alone. When my friend and I walked in, we spotted my kids getting a slurpee,so we proceeded to walk up to them. There was a pretty long line, and we had to walk by a few guests in line, but when doing so, I felt someone's eyes on me.I then started walking faster to get by this man,and as I'm walking he's spinning around, and looking at me up and down.I first made a face at him which I thought would make him stop, but when he didn't, I yelled out "WOW!" I couldn't believe that anyone could be any more disrespectful to make someone feel so uncomfortable like this man did. My friend was upset and told the guy that he was rude, and that upset the guy. He immediately got defensive,and wanted to "take it outside" as he repeated more than twice. An employee finally noticed the commotion, and told my friend that he was "86'd" because he felt that he started everything, which was untrue. He was sticking up for me, and when I tried to tell the employee what really happened, he said that I was no longer allowed to shop there either. Meanwhile, my friend got a drink thrown at him, and his hat hit off of his head by this disrespectful man and his two friends and nobody told them a thing. I told my kids to put down their snacks, and to get to the car.But while making our way to the exit, we got split up and my kids were afraid to walk by the men to get to me.I told them to go ahead and walk past me and held the door, and while they walked by, one of the guys looked my son up and down.He then tried to fight my friend outside, and nobody did anything. I only heard one guy say to stop.There were even undercover officers who sat in their car, and didn't do anything right away like they should have. They got out of the car after a few minutes and flashed their badges. I can care less about not being able to shop there. There's another 7Eleven less than a mile away.I'm not the one losing anything except respect for people who allow perverts to get away with things like this. And now I've seen the incident has been posted on social media, which violates me even more. So, I don't mind taking my business elsewhere.
