It's 7-Eleven, so it's not like your expectations should be very high. Here you can find typical convenience store fare, ranging from drinks to snacks, along with gas pumps outside. This particular location seems a bit dirtier than other nearby convenience stores, including the 7-Eleven down at Horizon and Pacific. On the plus side, this 7-Eleven resides in a pretty prime location, and it is the only gas station on this busy corner. It may not be the highest-end 7-Eleven, but it has the location and amenities to make it a vital part of the immediate neighborhood.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is thoughtfully decorated, spotless, and has a warm, welcoming feel that immediately makes you comfortable. The staff was exceptional--friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Our waters were never empty, our food arrived quickly, hot, and beautifully plated, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the Nico's Gyro with feta fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The gyro was packed with flavor, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the feta fries were the perfect indulgent side. One friend ordered the Theo Salad, which looked incredible, and another had the Souvlaki Platter. Everything that came to the table looked phenomenal, and the portions were impressively generous. You definitely get a lot of food for your money here. Beyond the food, I was also impressed by their beverage selection. While I didn't try any of the drinks this visit, they offer a variety of unique coffees, juices, and specialty beverages that looked fantastic. And then there were the desserts. Our server mentioned that many of them are imported, and they looked absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be making another trip back just to sample a few of them. It's hard to beat a family-owned restaurant that delivers on every level--fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an impressive selection of drinks and desserts. I live on the opposite side of Henderson, but Theo's is absolutely worth the drive. I'll definitely be back and will happily recommend it to friends and family. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

The workers well some of them were nice, but the one who took my order, seemed confused and told me wrong information and then she's like let me go ask and then she comes back with a different menu because she was giving me lunch specials and it was around 5 o'clock so I asked is this for now and then she's like let me go ask and then when they brought me my food, it was just covered and feta cheese and I am not a big feta person. If I had known they use that much I would've said no feta cheese. They did try to make it right by bringing me a dessert which I really didn't care for because it tasted a little bit stale however, when the lady brought me that I told her I would just keep it and pick the cheese up cause I was hungry. She said she would ask the chef I think most places would've just redone it but she said she had to ask plus it was getting late and I didn't wanna wait but it kind of turned me off that she said, let me go ask the chef so I was like no just forget it. Edited to say: Saying it was near closing is not true my daughter had a dress rehearsal and I could look up the exact time but I'm pretty sure I dropped her off before 5:30 PM and that is not your closing time and the waitress did say to me she had to ask you and I told her just forget it. I did not think it was OK for someone to say let me go ask the chef she should've just said that they would fix it but she didn't. She said they had to ask first and I am not lying about that which is another reason I will not return because now I had to see your response and go in here and edit it. And I just checked and her rehearsal started at 5:15 PM and I came in I would say maybe five or 10 minutes after that so that is not closing time.

Located in a small little shopping center, this place is definitely tucked away but super easy to find. Parking can be scarce so I would either recommend in getting there very early or a little bit later in the morning. When you open the door, the first thing you are greeted with is the pastry rack in front of you. I swear, I gained 10 lb. Just looking at it. So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. Really makes you feel at home and invited in to experience everything that they have. I opted for the tiramisu latte, and it was fantastic! Definitely had a perfect coffee flavor, and the terramisu flavoring was not overly sweet but actually was perfect. I had the bacon breakfast croissant with egg and it was wonderful. Perfectly balanced, the flavors were there, and the bacon was excellent! This is definitely one we are going to add for our go-to breakfast places when in Vegas. Super excited to try everything on the menu! Bottom line? If you have not gone to horizon shine, you are missing out. Top of your must-go places and I swear you will not be disappointed! You will probably see me there again! If so, feel free to buy me a pastry.

So they have a sign up that says if you give them 5 stars on Yelp and show them the review within 3…read moredays, they will give you a free coffee. But I have been here three times and every time I have tried to order, it took SO DAMN LONG to get my coffee, that I just can't in good faith, leave a 5 star review. Every time I have gone in, there's one person doing everything, taking the orders, making food and making coffees. That's certainly not fair to your staff for one, who probably don't make much money and it's STRESSFUL when you're working as fast as you can, but people are waiting who haven't had their coffee. I spent 25 minutes waiting the first time and almost 40 minutes the second time (40 minutes!!!) and the last time I walked in, saw a packed cafe and NO ONE had coffee in front of them - so I just walked out. The coffee was just okay too, it wasn't hot enough the second time I went and my friends coffee had the wrong milk in it and she couldn't drink it. You can be 2 of these things to be successful: if your coffee is expensive, you need fast service and delicious coffee. You can have slow service, but it needs to be well priced and tasty. But you CANNOT have high prices, mediocre coffee AND slow service. This explains the 'give us a 5* review and show us' trick they need to do, because otherwise people like myself aren't going to go back. There are so many other great coffee places around - if you're in a rush don't go here. The atomosphere is too quiet too, you can hear everyones conversation if anyone is having a conversation. There's no music/background lofi on or anything and it's a TINY cafe. It's a little uncomfortable actually, although it does look beautiful and whimsical and cute. I can't speak on the food, I never got to try and and based on my previous experiences - I won't be either.
