My for real and favorite one-stop wellness store. This store is right in my neighborhood and easy to get in and out of. Most importantly, the staff recognizes you and greets you each and every time you go in. I like to keep my business here and do in-bulk buying on health, beauty and over the counter items-- about every 4-5 months. I even buy my dogs' absolute favorite treat here that, sure, I can get it on Chewy but Walgreens runs an occasional BOGO half off in this and I clear the shelf, no waiting in delivery. The best thing ever was that the assistant supervisor helped me get TP after I got back from Europe right in the height of the pandemic scare... when TP was flying out of stores. She got my name and phone no. and she held product for me including cleaning items. I was blown away by her kindness. Ask for Nicole!! read more

Pharmacy is a horrible mess of inefficiency. Going into hour two of waiting for COVID vaccine for 3 appointments booked ahead of time and paperwork filled out online. Staff is doing the best they can, but unfortunately their systems and procedures cripple them. Not to mention they are constantly shifting duties attempting to deal with the long customer lines and I wouldn't be at all surprised if medication mistakes happen. Really regretting coming here for service. Won't be returning to a Walgreens anytime in the foreseeable future. read more

Rude, from both clerks who were on at 3 pm Monday, March 6. My RX was already refused twice because I was prescribed paxlovid which I returned immediately when I was told they didn't fill my much needed RX because I was going to take paxlovid. They refused the unopened return and my RX. Iwas told to come back in5 days, I did I was told to come back in 4 more days, I did by this time I'm out of my RX and nearing a health crisis. I explained this to the clerks. Absolutely no response. Acted as if I said nothing. They informed me I had no RX. After much back and forth they found it. I watched them fill it. They said it would be ready at 4 I came back at 4 informed my insurance refused it. I had to pay$74.00for it. I paid. Went home, called my insurance they said submitted incorrectly, I've been taking this med for over 5 years. Insurance said call doctors office, closed, now after 5. Never never again, they have caused me to come close,very close to a major health crisis. And they were rude, appeared to have little to no medical knowledge and deliberately ignored me and made me return for an RX when it was ready-in front of me. terrible service and now they're refusing birth control. I like this location of Walgreens because it's easy to get to when I'm out doing errands, it's always clean and well stocked too.

I love Walgreen's. They have great deals on almonds. I try to eat a handful daily, they are a good source of healthy omega oils. Raj on Rinconada and the very helpful pharmacy people will make your visit a pleasant experience. read more

The pharmacy here is terrible. The pharmacist Nick H. was not helpful, made it more difficult than necessary after trying to pick up a prescription for my husband who just had back surgery. He had the nerve to mention that he wouldn't be able to fill the prescription without talking to the doctors office, which was closed. Thank goodness we had the doctors cell phone number, as he wasn't going to fill the prescription and we were going into the weekend. Extremely disappointed in this pharmacy, and will never come here again. read more

I had an appointment for COVID drive through testing- I arrived before my appointment and even called to assure I was to wait in the pharmacy drive through line. Though when I arrived there was a number of cars ahead of me. When it was my turn I was told they don't do the test at the time I was at the window. I explained I had an appointment and have been waiting in line. They said we will accommodate you this time but we don't take late appointments- I replied again I was on time and early and how do I have control over how fast you drive through line moves. Then when they gave me these, they didn't even confirm I did the steps right. Just gave me the material and we're ready to send me away. I have never been treated so rudely at this location ever. Staff are rude and unprofessional. Manager yelled after i asked a question on how to print photos. I walked in hoping to print photos. The photo dept is unstaffed. I waited over 10mins to be acknowledged as a customer by any staff members. I went to the self help photo machines to do it myself and found they do not work properly. After going to the cashier to request help, the manager came over who, after merely glancing at the machine, told me they can't help me. I asked if there is someone else here who did specialize in the photo dept and was met with an angry, raised voice telling me that "there is no one in the photo dept. and nothing i can do". Im shocked and from the looks of it so were onlooking shoppers. Seems the manager think it appropriate to take out job frustrations on customers. YIKES! read more

Holy smokes you would think that people in health care would be a little more kind!!! I've waited a few times before coming on to write a review on the pharmacy here because I was hoping that their customer service would get better BUT NO it has not!!!! Very rude most the time!! It's cringe worthy when I have to call there because they take forever to refill simple prescriptions and they are always so rude and short with you! This Walgreens kicks butt! The customer service is top notch. Aisles are wide enough. I also like how tall the aisles are, but then again I am tall, so I have no problem getting what I want from the top shelves. I was buying condoms. The checkout gal said "Good for you. Too many people, especially women are embarrassed to buy condoms. They make their guys do it." "What?" I exclaimed. "That's so sad. Do they think the clerk is judging them maybe?" I queried. "I guess, so.", she replied. "We even have a guy who works here who doesn't like to buy condoms here. If you're embarrassed to buy them, then you probably aren't mature enough to be using them. Plus a ton of guys always go for the Magnums." Well by this point I was cracking up-funny and true. I was there this morning trying to purchase some 'essential," items. i was told by the Cashier that I couldn't purchase 4 items due to the fact they were taking "inventory." I saw her counting and putting the totals on a piece of paper. Whats so hard about deducting 4 items off the tally?I put all my items away, and will go to Walmart or Target next time. My experience was in the pharmacy department. I normally use a Walgreens in Sac where I live and because they are always swamped you never get the type of service you should, nor be able to ask questions. I stopped here because my Dr is in Folsom and had new prescriptions that my insurance was having trouble covering the way the Dr had written it. It was a prescription I needed and so David did his best to answer my questions and possible solutions. Ultimately I had to speak to the pharmacist Scott. He was SO patient and heard everything I was saying and we came to a decision I was happy with. I did a Walgreens survey but I really wanted to shout their praises elsewhere too. If I could give no stars I would, this is far most the worst customer service, unprofessional, rudeness store I have ever walked in. I've had to complain to the corporate office twice, the employees know the corporate office is not going to do anything. My last experience I was purchasing Gatorade, which is not on the essential list, as I was approaching to check out the young lady that I complained on in the past approached the cashier and said something, when I got to the cashier I was told I could not purchase the amount that I had in the basket. I said I did not see a sign stating a limit, I had 10. I ask to speak with the manager and was told the manager of couse was not available. A very rude young lady came out and start to yell saying I could only purchase 2 per color, I was a little confused and said what if a person wanted all the same color. I ask her to bring her voice down. The clerk that I had complained about in the past was just standing there looking. I ask the so called manger why was it necessary for her to be standing there, she told her to leave The so called manager then says to me "Are you aware of coronavirus" at that point I told the young lady she was insulting my intelligence and that I was standing there with gloves and a mask as she stood there with no covering whatsoever. There was no sign posted on limits, I'm 64 years old and my husband is 63 and is peace officer risking his life every day, my grandson is a EMT risking his life, I own a essential business risking my life and she wants to stand there and insult me by asking such a stupid question. I purchase the Gatorade because both my husband and I have medical conditions that we must stay hydrated, I have not had a problem purchasing as much Gatorade as I want at any other stores. I left the store and went to another store, not a Walgreens and purchased 15 Gatorades with no problem and was actually much cheaper. I have my receipts. The next day my son-n-law went to this Walgreens and purchased 12 Gatorades with no problem. We have the receipt showing the purchase. I can't help but feel that it might have been because Im black and my son-n-law is white, this is definitely a ummmm moment. Needless to say I called corporate back to give them the updated information and have not heard from anyone. I can spend my money somewhere that doesn't see color. IM ABSOLUTELY DONE with Walgreens. One more thing, my husband had aslo filled a prescription there before and came home with another persons person's prescription, reported that and never heard from corporate. What corporate will do is have someone from the store call and you just tell them the problem and get into another argument. They are so busy being rude, which seems at this point is the makeup of Walgreens. read more

This is the most incompetent group of pharmacists I have ever dealt with. They are dishonest as well. Urgent care submitted a prescription electronically to them during my appointment as I was disgnosed with acute bronchitis. I waited several hours before I contacted the pharmacy to check the status of the script. They told me they needed to verify something with the doctor that prescribed the script and had not heard back from the doctor. I immediately contacted UC and they acknowledged they received the inquiry from the pharmacist and had responded to them. I called Walgreens back and they denied receiving the doctor's response. I called back UC and they assured me they responded to the pharmacy and had received a confirmation that the fax was sent. I was leaving the next day on a flight to Philadelphia so this was becoming urgent. I called back UC and they said they called the pharmacy also. My husband went to the pharmacy to get my prescription insisting this was ridiculous and insisted that UC responded and that the pharmacist should fill the prescription. It was close to closing time and they said they were not going to fill the prescription and pulled the screen down in front of him even after he told them I was leaving the next day before the store would be open. They were extremely rude and did not care. After I left for Philadelphia my husband went back to the store and told the pharmacist he was not leaving without the prescription. They again said they didn't get a response from UC and he told them they weren't being truthful. He called UC right in front of them and they again confirmed they did indeed respond. So finally they filled it. My husband had to spend $$$ to have it delivered to the hotel the next day. I have since changed to another Walgreens and they r just as bad. They cannot even follow common sense instructions from the doctors writing them w/o questioning something entirely minor. I will be changing plans once Open Enrollment starts but will have to wait till Jan 2023 to start. read more

So I was looking for Pharmacy hours and came across Yelp reviews. I am floored to see how many bad reviews this store has! I have been coming here for 15 years and have ALWAYS been treated with kindness with store staff and the pharmacy has always kicked ass. Sometimes they get busy and I need to help along a rx by calling my dr. This store is a busy one! The folks working here don't make much $ so cut them a little slack and try to be empathetic when they are doing there best to stay on top the work load. There are some real issues with this store. First I must say that the people in customer service are great but the company itself is the worst. This is a business that is supposed to help support the health of their customers. In this case it's quite the opposite. They are so consistently late on refilling the prescriptions that you practically have to live your life relative to when your prescriptions will be ready. I just called in checking two prescriptions for my wife. Today is Tuesday and the robot said that the prescriptions will be ready on Thursday after 1:00pm. This leaves one prescription with one dose left on Thursday and the other one with two doses left on Thursday. Both close to being out. Let's say that there was a four day weekend planned for some time away. The weekend plans would have to be changed due to the prescriptions running so late. If they were even ready one or two days earlier it would be no problem. This is the norm for this facility. Always running late! I have missed a dose of medication due to this store. I'm sure that missing a dose of medication would attract the attention of an Attorney. I was calling in and checking for my wife's prescriptions because I've already switched over to CVS. They're great! On time every time so far and with days to spare! I believe that Walgreens is just trying to get as many inventory turns as possible at the expense of their customers! It's all about the money as usual. They also have a high employee turn over and today they were advertising for jobs when I checked on the prescriptions. read more

Most disgusting customer service and lack of ethic of any pharmacy I've used. Not to mention I'm coming to this location after being laughed at when I said I was filling a prescription for my dog and left on hold until the line disconnected at the location near me. I waited over 6 hours for eye drops, not even pills needing to be counted and I had called before even dropping off the prescription to make sure it was available. After 6 hours and being told it will be a few MORE hours I called my vet who found a pharmacy near by that would have it ready for me at arrival as the drops were an attempt to save her eyes from being removed two days later. I did not have a few more hours, I did not have the 6 hours I had already waited but this is a horrible time for everyone so I was respectful and waited quietly until they lied to my husband that tried to check on the medication, again 6 hours later, and blamed my vets office unknowing I was on the phone with one receptionist 25 minutes prior while another vet receptionist was ON THE PHONE WITH THE PHARMACIST. Now I was furious as clearly they were intentionally delaying the medication. This was made even more clear when my husband asked for the prescription itself back so we could have it filled but somehow the prescription was now ready before she could get the piece of paper, although 5 minutes prior Rhonda (their awful cashier) estimated 2-3 more HOURS. She also proceeded to start crying about her own aging dog. My dog is 3 and could have regained full vision if they weren't trying to play god. read more

This pharmacy has a communication problem internally among technicians and pharmacists. Often, the pharmacists don't communicate with their pharmacy technicians and vice-versa which results in poor patient care. Patients are not adequately informed if there is a problem with their prescription fills. No follow-up with any problems. When you call, the hold can last as long as ten minutes sometimes. Pharmacist break times are not posted other than lunch during fixed lunch time. So, if you have a new script, you show up after any other time than the lunch time, and your script has been filled, you won't get it dispensed if the pharmacist is on a break. You wait 30 minutes for the pharmacist to return from a break or come back later. Did I say, they don't have a posted sign when the pharmacist go on a break? Also, I believe that they need more training to become proficient. Someday, this pharmacy will be great. That day has yet to arrive. read more
