This is the worst pharmacy in the area. The male pharmacist is an absolute jerk and clearly hates his job. He refused to take my Apple Pay in the drive through window forcing me and my sick one year old to come inside and get her prescription. Then argued with me at the counter before finally ringing up my prescription. Cvs it is I guess Avoid at all cost read more

MOST AMAZING PHOTO CENTER! This photo center is so amazing. The staff working, when I called and then went in, (Michelle) was spectacular! Over the phone he explained several options for me to consider for the type of paper, how to make the order (online), and that their photo center fulfills order extremely quickly. I knew I was cutting it close with their closing time, but went ahead and submit the order, so at minimum I would go pick it up first thing the next morning. After submitting my order online, I decided to drive there just in case it was done before closing. As I pulled into the parking lot, I received a text it was done! This was so helpful that it was completed asap, as I was on a serious time crunch! The staff works hard and completes the job accurately and quickly!! Thank you Michelle! read more

The pharmacist and pharmacy staff are wonderful people, but they are understaffed and don't answer the phone reliably. I have been on hold 1 hour and 25 minutes trying to have them fill a script. They are not out on a meal break.I already spoke to someone about the script a week ago, and then waited in line 45 minutes to pick it up only to find out they did not have it. It seems like you have to handle all communication in person to obtain your scripts. I also have requested it online via my Walgreens account. read more

I want to thank Emily in photos at the 620/El Salido store! OMG!! I could not have accomplished my Father's Day card without her expertise! Being introduced to doing it on the app was so much better than the kiosk and downloading a gazillion photos. She was so sweet, and cute and had a great personality. She had me out of there in 10 minutes or so. So grateful to her! read more

Pharmacy only: The level of incompetency and total lack of empathy by the pharmacy staff is frankly scary. I've seen serial killers who do a better job at trying to help people than the miscreants Walgreen's employs at this location. They make it feel like you are bothering them for making them do their jobs, which makes one wonder why they bothered taking all the training they must have slept through. Getting prescriptions at this location requires a giant effort and forget about helpfulness in your time of need! There's an HEB and CVS across the street, where actual humans with actual sensibilities work. Take your business there and save yourself some grief. read more

Pharmacy only: The level of incompetency and total lack of empathy by the pharmacy staff is frankly scary. I've seen serial killers who do a better job at trying to help people than the miscreants Walgreen's employs at this location. They cancel orders without notifying anyone. If you order delivery, they change it to pick up only without notifying anyone. They don't even offer condolences for their screw ups. They make it feel like you are bothering them for making them do their jobs, which makes one wonder why they bothered taking all the training they must have slept through. This is an okay, if unassuming Walgreens. It's right in line with the other drugstores of the area. The food/freezer area seems understocked, but the medicines are fine and the store is decently supplied with holidays specials. How easy it is to get into depends greatly on which direction you're coming from on the 2222 or the 620. I can't comment on the prescription drug portion of the establishment as my HMO makes me use the CVS that's diagonally across from this place. If you have a Walgreens-specific reason to use this facility, it's A-OK. Otherwise, you're just as well off going to the HEB, Target, or CVS within 1000 feet of this place. read more

Walgreens - The holiday bear display! I tell ya, it feels like someone's watching me when I shop here... - Drugstores Near Me - Austin, Texas

I had a mediocre experience with the pharmacy staff -- especially a thin young woman with dark pulled back hair and glasses. I was trying to find a foot care item and she kind of acted like it was an inconvenience for her. She did look up the product online but I could tell she didn't want to. She had a somewhat patronizing attitude - helpful but under duress. A real person rang it up which I give Walgreen's kudos for unlike CVS with their self service register. read more

I hate to leave even one star! Absolutely the worst pharmacy in my 66 years on this planet. No communication whatsoever, you have to call them to check on your prescription. It can take them over a week to fill your prescription without so much as a courtesy call or text. Don't risk your health or the health of your loved ones, drive a little further down the road to the next Walgreens. read more

Rude cashier and stocker ! Waited 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. Asked for help at the photo/FedEx counter and got a grunt from the female stock person . The cashier finally came over when I 'door' knocked on the counter because there was no bell to ring and asked again for help. They were not busy with customers . Not sure what the deal was . We don't usually get rude service at this store . A little acknowledgement goes a long way . Just someone saying ,"Hi, we'll be with you shortly " is way better than ignoring the customer . Shame on Walgreens! read more

I placed a online order on February 22 to pickup in store. Yesterday I went to the Photo dept to pick it up and was told "the order had timed out" so I needed to reorder and he would give it to me when the order was received. While I was standing there placing the order online the person in the Photo dept went into a office then came out with his personal items and left the store. I was flabbergasted that he left me standing. I asked one of the staff to called a manager to assist me. I explained what happened and he did not even seem to be fazed over it. He gave me my order and that was it. It will be my first and last time I place an order online to pickup in store. Maybe I will be contacted by a district manager who cares!! read more

Part I This review is strictly for the pharmacy. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. They are disorganized, incompetent and rude. They never fill my husband's prescription right. They transferred my prescriptions to another Walgreens without notifying us or providing a reason. I understand dealing with the public can be an absolute nightmare. However, in this case they are the nightmare. Do yourself a favor and go to any other of the several pharmacies in the area: CVS, HEB or even the other Walgreens near Anderson Mill. PartII Well, I stupidly gave this place another chance. Even paid online in advance and got a code for pickup. Got there just to be told they put my prescription in storage which voided my online payment and after 50 minutes (30 in the drive-thru/20 inside) was quoted $15 more without reason. They refused to make an adjustment. I have no one to blame but myself, because I went against my own better judgment and gave them another chance. I won't make that mistake again. read more

Location always has tons of staff who are barely trained and not customer service oriented at all. Walgreen's Four Points. This is only for this store at Four Points. A business is only as good as its people. Re: The blonde pharmacist that had a baby recently. This pharmacist decided she did not like my wife. This situation has gone on for A while. Today, 7/19/2019, We have a prescription for an Epi pen. Today 11/1/2019 The pharmacist Shelley has a definite attitude. I have been with Walgreen's since 2000. I'm done with Walgreen's, though The four Points store is the absolute worst. She plays with the quanity prescribed as well as the pricing. Life is too short. I'm moving to another pharmacy. Too many problems, it is easier to no be aggravated. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. Their drive thru is never opened which is really inconvenient if you have sick small children you are trying to obtain Medicine for. They "change" their hours daily, which are not consistent with their posted hours, or recorded hours when you call. Pharmacist was rude, oblivious and unapologetic for their lack of professionalism. read more

I just moved out to this area, so I'm learning where everything is off 620. I had seen this Walgreens off 620 and 2222 and stopped for a couple of things. Let's start with my usual Walgreens experience: Park, run in, grab a few things, talk to no one, pay, leave. This Walgreens experience: Park, run in, got stopped by an employee who asks if I need help (wow), she suggests the sale items (score!), grab sale items, chat with employee while I'm paying, receive a 20% coupon for my next purchase. Best Walgreens experience ever =) read more

I'll probably never be able to give a drugstore a 5 star review, it's just one of those places I don't enjoy having to go to (until I can buy a soda in the pharmacy drive thru when picking up a prescription). BUT- I just switched to this Walgreens since it is on my way home from work and lets just say they have the best staff of any Walgreens I have EVER been in. They actually offer help and sound sincere! Very nice change. read more

I'm tiffed. First off, I think this place should be open until 11 or maybe even 12 on the weekend. But I'm ok with it not being this way. I'm sure the employees here would like to go home at a decent hour, and I can respect that. But this little corner is still pretty bustling late on a Saturday. Late on a Saturday (tonight) is when I went in. I had kind of lost track of time honestly, I did not realize it was almost 10. But I pulled into the store and when I walked in, I was greeted by a not so professionally dressed plump fellow (un-tucked button down shirt with undershirt hanging out) who I am assuming is a "manager". The first thing he says to me: "You realize we are closing in 2 minutes, right?".... Obviously not, dude. So I say, "I'm sorry, I'll be quick", only to receive an obvious look of dismay. Whatever. So I go and grab the pint of ice cream and drink I was going in for, which took about 3 minutes (scandalous! Oo la la!). Thankfully, the cashier did not seem to be as annoyed by my closing time shopping experience, and he was nice. So good job to that dude. Then when I get in my car, the time on my clock is 9:58, so I'm like WTF!?!? I check my phone to make sure my car clock is not just behind. NO! My phone says 9:56pm! So eff you dude at the Walgreens entrance at 9:53pm on a Saturday night. You obviously were having a bad night or don't know a thing about customer service in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. Be professional and courteous. You could have said "Hello sir. Just so you know, the store will be closing in 2 minutes, so please make your final purchases and bring them to the register". Except you were on lazy manager time. read more

Terrible pharmacy. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, anywhere other than this place. Trust me.

I just have to give a shout out to the pharmacist with long dark hair at the Four Points Walgreens (Nicole possibly?). Wow! I had a prescription that was complicated between insurance, another system, and the doctor's office. She worked so hard and made a gazillion phone calls on Thursday night to try to get it worked out since the prescription had a deadline on it. She couldn't get it to go through (needed the doctor to redo something) but she worked on it again Friday morning and the stars aligned with all of the systems and I was able to get it. I wouldn't be surprised if she made 15 phone calls to get this resolved, all while helping other customers. She truly cares. My son has a rare genetic syndrome and he needs so many medicines so we have been using this Walgreens for quite a while. We definitely do get frustrated at times but much of the frustration is due to insurance or the sheer volume of medicines they deal with here. Their employees in the pharmacy never have any down time and somehow they do all their work without getting frustrated at angry customers. Their jobs are definitely made more difficult due to the health insurance industry but they sure work hard to try to get issues resolved. Thanks again to the pharmacist who worked so hard on my prescription. You definitely went above and beyond! read more

Horrid customer service at drive up window. Brianna at windowcould care less. I told her about her associate trying to sell me a 69.00 thermometer and me arguing with them they had 11.00 ones until I asked for a manager. When I told Briana. She could care less. I told them I did not appreciate this and i would be changing pharmacies. She still didn't care. They offer horrible customer service. This isn't the only complaint I have had there. This Walgreens has been taking longer and longer to fill prescriptions. Especially when someone clearly ill come in, with the Flu, fever, nausea, doesn't it make sense to get that person out as soon as possible? There used to be a lot more empathy from the pharmacy dept. The pharmacy here SUCKS! They couldn't find my prescription in the system, different pharmacists told me different wait times, also assisted front customers before me even though I was sitting in the drive thru. And then when they called to tell me my prescription was ready, I came back up here after going home just for them to tell me they haven't even started to mix the solution yet. Just flat out unprofessional and such a waste of my evening. I've stuck with Walgreens for many years but I will either have to transfer to a different one or just change companies altogether. read more

I just want to send a big-shout out to Nicole who works in the pharmacy here. After about a week of miscommunication between this site and a Pflugerville location (may I say I hate when people give you an answer that they don't really have any idea about just so they don't have to say "I don't know, but let me check on that for you..."), plus a doctor's office that couldn't get the location right, she took the reins and actually sorted out the whole mess and called me to update me on the progress and ultimate solution to the problem. It seems lately when ever I post a review for poor service at one place or another. There are other bad reviews about the same subject. I wanted to purchase some niacin and for some reason I could not find it. I also wanted advice on what would be the best product to buy. This was not a extremely time consuming task that I wanted the pharmacy to help me. After they found out I was not picking up a prescription everyone had something else to do. This is pretty sad. I have owned business for ten years. Customer service is something I take pride in with my business. It is a lost art with this location. Walgreens at Hester's Crossing could give these people some lessons. I suggest they do so. read more

This particular location has a pharmacy tech who wears, for some reason, medical scrubs while working behind the counter. This tech has to be one of the rudest, unprofessional jerks I have ever encountered in a pharmacy. His co-worker, the actual pharmacist needs to step off the "rude horse" as well. They act flustered and agitated beyond belief during busy times. The guy wearing the scrubs needs a kick in the rear. There is absolutely no excuse to be talking down to people like he does. When you work in a pharmacy, you need to exercise patience with folks. There are a lot of elderly, sick people that go in there and sometimes they might not understand insurance, Medicare, co-pays, etc. These people don't have any patience or tolerance for questions or concerns. The staff at this Walgreens is a prime example of how bad healthcare has gotten in the United States. Two thumbs down to these boneheads! read more

Denied a pharma discount card, claiming the pharmaceutical company was responsible, when I just found out Walgreens didn't want to mess with it, forcing me to pay $150 out of pocket unnecessarily. I have lived in various neighborhoods in Austin for 17 years now (practically a native). The assistance, customer care and professionalism of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location is impeccable. Numerous times when I have sent in a prescription order (online or phone), the script has been ready - even earlier than requested each time. The pharmacist has called me several times now to let me know if there is an issue with this location having a specific med requested. And will let me know when she expects a different location to transfer over what I need, so I don't waste a trip trying to pick something up that is out of stock. The pharmacist has even called me to say, a renewed script request has gone over to the Dr office, but they have not received a response. So I would not waste a trip since they were still waiting for an authorization. Another example is they have offered a cheaper med, sometimes non-generic, that my insurance would cover if I would prefer (looking out for my options). I cannot say enough about the helpful, patience, thoroughness of the pharmacy staff at this location. Awesome! You guys are awesome - and are appreciated. read more
