The staff at Acton Autobody were friendly and professional. They took the time to explain the repair process, provide a clear estimate, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is great. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. This was thru insurance so I can't really speak on the pricing, but they completed the job in a timely manner even though parts have been pretty hard to come by these days. They have earned my trust, and I will definitely return if I ever need their services again.

My covered most of this and I paid cash for some extra work. After seeing the terrible outcome, there was no way I was going to let them touch that car anymore. Two days later, the clearcoat started coming off the doors and the other section they painted. At some point, they tried to remove the backseat and breaking it and didn't notice for days. now the car is at another body shop that is reputable and they're struggling to fix it. There is no discussions I wanna have with the owner or any part of this establishment. They have cost me triple the money out-of-pocket than the cost of the original job. I brought my truck in on Monday morning at 8 am as agreed. No parts as of Wednesday. He had torn the motor apart and told me his supplier refused his credit card and did not send him the parts. He then made excuses for his lack of follow-up for not having the parts. When I questioned him on Wednesday why the delay, he told me I was "pressuring him". I told him to put the motor back together and not to do any more work on it after seeing how he did business. He got angry and claimed he would never work on another 2020. He told me they "had made changes" on the 6.2 motor. I would assume a guy who owns an auto repair business would be aware of any changes on vehicles three years old, but not Kenny. At no time was he apologetic about the delay and his lack of follow up to get the parts. He had assured me on Friday the parts would be there on Monday and that the job would be finished within three days. I picked up my Sierra Denali on Thursday afternoon just before he closed his shop. I was charged for tearing my engine apart and putting it back together again with no new parts for improvement like we had originally agreed upon. I would have been much better off taking my truck to the dealership in Oxford. Live and learn.

Before that I used to bring my vehicles for the past few decades to my uncle who lived nearby in Reading. He was one of the most knowledgeable mechanics you could ever meet. Not to mention being reliable, fair, and honest. He was known far and wide for his reputation. After he retired I started bringing my truck to Kenny's for repairs. I have to say, I never met anyone else besides these two guys that could compare to my now late uncle as far as their workmanship. They tell you what your vehicle's diagnosis is, and what you need done. Period. No pushy add-ons that you don't need, no inflated repair bills because of this or that. After the work is all done they call you up and tell you over the phone exactly how much it's going to cost right down to the penny. If there's another issue concerning your vehicle they might find, they'll let you know and what your options are, there's no pressuring you like some other chain repair establishments I won't get into. I couldn't believe how fast they got around to fixing my vehicle, and how decent a price for parts and labor they charged me. These guys will treat you right, they don't talk down to you, and they won't give you the runaround. When you find a great mechanic as they say, stick with them.

I got a quote from them from them for around $1400 which included them dissembling the car, painting it, and then reconditioning it before picking it up. When I arrived the first time, my driver mirror was still unpainted. The front splitter was painted black not green, and the hood was painted extremely poorly. They also never cleaned my car even though I was charged for it. So I had to bring it back a second time, showed them my hood was still unpainted in some areas, the car was never even cleaned even though I paid for it and my mirror was still unpainted. What appeared to be the owner came out and realized how poor of a job they did he was very nice and stated they would correct the issues but I'd have to leave my car there again, which was fine. When I picked my car up for the final time it was cleaned, no sanding dust all over my interior and exterior. But the hood was touched up very poorly, instead of repainting the whole panel again they just touched up the areas they missed very poorly instead. My mirror cap was painted green, but they broke the mounting clips and instead of telling me they broke it or getting a new mirror they used double sided tape to stick it on since can't be secured with the clips they broke and it fell off on my way home. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I've been to 6 other shops in the area (all the highest rated…read morereview ones), and this is the only shop I'll ever go back to. Gino and his team are the most trustworthy mechanics I have ever met. They are accountable, and in situations where other shops would have passed blame or made a headache, they took care of me. They have never tried to upsell me or get me to do unnecessary repairs - in fact, they will even tell you not to do repairs that aren't immediately needed at the time. Ive left other shops feeling hustled, but I have never felt this way in my past 4 visits to this shop. I did my homework and sure, this shop might be ~$20 more expensive than the other local ones. But after having tried other shops, that small price difference is nothing compared to accountability and trust. Plus they offer AAA discounts. Trust is the biggest factor when looking for a mechanic, and Gino and his team go out of the way to build it. Give them a shot, and I'm sure they'll earn your trust too
