I made one call here and received a swift service. The tow truck was dispatched within minutes and fulfilled at a reasonable price. This business is customer centric and pays attention to the quality and satisfaction in service. Mike, the driver is lively and very accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone in the area! read more

Great experience-- highly recommend. Towed my car, which had been sitting idle for a year and was very difficult to get on the flat bed-- still managed to get it to the shop. Driver was super nice with a good sense of humor; was as good an experience as it could have been. Really appreciate their service read more

Friendly, efficient and reasonable. I highly recommend them. Try them. You won't be sorry,

2020 Pandemic Era Review We got a battery quote from AAA because we had recharged our battery twice ourselves and the car still wouldn't start. There was a pandemic going on so I wanted to figure out the safest (aka least exposure) route for my parents. The quote was reasonable, and AAA was able to send us someone in about an hour. Watertown Towing & Auto Repair checked the car out in our garage and confirmed it was the battery and not the alternator. Since it was 5.5 years old, that seemed rather reasonable. They changed our battery, tested it out, and hauled the old one away. We paid in cash, and the car is still running fine. Update: The car has required recharging several times since this 2020 AAA visit. Not sure why. If it is the battery, or the alternator. Dad suspects the alternator. We'll have to take the car in for a check up sometime... Leaving 4 stars for the service and convenience for now with the understanding that once this is posted, I will lose the ability to edit after a month. read more

Elisandro D. rescued me when my Audi refused to start. Arrived quickly and fixed the problem, which had to do with the light switch being on the wrong setting and running down the battery. Elisandro explained the system, how it worked, and did not make me feel like a moron. Thank you for turning a crisis into a feel-good moment. read more

I've actually used these guys a few times now and have been so happy with the quality of service on all occasions. Personable reasonably priced and always efficient read more

Watertown towing was fantastic! We had to move two vehicles in a rush, as we had a plan to bring the vehicles to a family home, and that plan fell through. We needed to bring the vehicles to a storage facility in a rush. Watertown towing was prompt and the drivers were kind. The drivers treated our older cars with respect even though the cars are a bit beat up. The owner, George, adjusted our bill, to an incredibly reasonable rate after the tow, because both cars came from and went to the same location (and he realized the same truck could have been used for both cars). George's honesty and kindness, along with the great service of the drivers, made a very stressful moment a painless experience. We are so grateful for their help and would recommend Watertown to everyone we know! read more

Thank you so much! Awesome work by a very kind driver. Showed up in a timely way, and the kindness was so helpful. Such a great experience after suffering a breakdown. Thank you so much! read more

Eric was great. He was incredibly quick and friendly. Having to get your vehicle towed is a very stressful thing but he made the experience go smoothly and did it all with a smile. Made me feel very confident that everything was going to work out. Can't thank them enough. read more

AAA referred my call to Watertown towing. Michael was great; he showed up right on time and suggested a few things to try to get the engine running but sadly ended up having to tow the car. He was very thorough and careful, and also had some good stories. Thanks! read more

The driver has a dismissive attitude as I told him I wanted my car towed to the dealer because the ignition immobilized the car and I needed a chip reset. He rolls the car out of the parking spot and into the travel area of the parking lot. He pops the hood to jump start it and I ask what he is doing. More attitude and he walks away will I am asking why he is popping the hood. I could have a new battery and the car still isn't going to start. The dealer is waiting for my car. The guy starts arguing like he is supposed to try and start the car first which is bullshit. He is an ass and leaves my car in the middle of the lot. The dealer closes and my car and I are stranded until Monday. POS. That's what Eric is and Watertown Towing. I will always make sure peeps avoid this racket. read more

A shout out to Christian C., who came in response to my AAA call. I've had some not-so-great experiences with other operators in the past, so I was delighted when he arrived quickly, was knowlegeable about my car (and showed me something I didn't know) and got me on the road in time to make it to my class. Many thanks! read more

Extremely bad service!!! Don't even bother working with them. They claim that you're the one that's giving them a hard time when all we need is to tow a car. Do you want to even make money? You're pushing customers away than even making customers. Anyways there's so much car towing places so there's no need to even bother with them even if they are the closets to your location. Already called up another place instead with a man that is willing to do business instead of picking up the phone and just yelling at you and giving people a hard time. No thanks! read more

Fast, courteous . William was so great to work with. Grateful to have unpleasant circumstances made more bearable because of good service, especially in times like these! read more

Sunday I had a flat tire and AAA sent them out to service. They were not only on time but beat the eta by a large margin. The service technician William was really fast, informative and very friendly. We discussed a number of options about buying tires and the local area. He is also went out of his way to provide support after the spare mounting. Will always keep them in mind for future business. read more

Dispatch said it may be awhile for service to show-up. The driver arrived before I even put the phone down. Excellent, fast service. Thank You, Watertown Towing. read more

My 2010 Chevy Malibu stopped performing on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Had it towed with a different company to my mechanic friend who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be fixed. Called Belmont Watertown Transmission, he gave me the number to Watertown Towing and I spoke with George. He was very helpful and made it hassle free. George said that I didn't have to go to the place that had the car, just to make sure to settle up any bill that I owe, and they will get it to Joey. Thank you, George, for making it hassle free and trusting someone that you only met by phone. I will be sure to stop in person to shake your hand when Joey has the car fixed up. You helped me get out of a bind. I didn't want to go through the same situation that I did on Saturday, which was calling around 20 different local tow companies who couldn't give you a straight answer as to when they could tow. With George, he literally was like, "Give me 2-hours." Super grateful, helpful and full appreciative. I won't take this for granted! read more

I swear the tow driver who got my utterly dead car (reversed cables during an episode of battery charging: ugh.) up onto the flatbed, to the garage, and unloaded in the midst of a bustling yard, must have been a mechanical engineer in another life. Unlike his colleagues who'd visited the scene earlier, he was diligent, undaunted, and skillful. Thanks to AAA for the connection, and to his employer for recognizing talent. Job well done. read more

I'm new to Mass currently living in Belmont and I wont take my car any where else, the team of mechanics are some of the nicest most honest people I've had the pleasure of working with. They are extremely dependable and helpful, not to mention fast. The other day I had to get my car towed and they gave me an estimate of about an hour and they were their within minutes and were able to start my car after we tried everything. I drive a very old car that often has to get repairs so I use their services quite frequently and have never been dissapointed or felt like I was being taken for a ride or charged extra fee's! Love this place! read more

Never thought I'd write a (good) review for a tow company... but they came out when I called AAA about a flat tire. The guy who changed my tire was very polite, quick, and thorough. He checked the tire for leak sites so I could know what needed to be done/where to take it to be fixed vs. replaced. A couple months ago I had another flat and the company that came out that day curt and and didn't take the time to look for anything, so it shows that they went above and beyond. Thanks for the hand! read more

The guy that did the tow was nice enough. The central office was unwilling to help me get AAA to pay for the tow. A tow less than a mile down the street cost $90. Use a different towing company. read more

I got a flat tire while in Cambridge, and Watertown Towing arrived quickly (within 15 minutes) via AAA. The tow driver, Jose, was friendly and professional, and had the flat fixed in less than 10 minutes. Thanks for making a tough night easier! read more

Very good towing company. I am an inexperienced driver happened to have a flat tire issue. I called them and they showed up within 30 mins, after checking my tire, they said it was not a big deal but a slow leaking problem and suggested me to pump my tire in the near gas station, which saved me hundred of bucks for towing service. Thank you! Impressive service. read more

They came because my car had Lost all power. I assumed it was the alternator. But instead of just towing it The tow truck driver Erik looked under the hood. Similar to others, I never thought I'd write a review for a towing company. But these guys (Alex and Steve in particular) helped us out of a huge bind when our cars were both trapped in our driveway due to road construction which left us with a 1 foot deep trench at the end of our driveway (thanks Mass DOT). They were super prompt, EXTREMELY pleasant and friendly and came up with a creative solution to get our cars out of our driveway so we could drive to work. We ended up with Watertown Towing because of AAA but I would call them directly in a heartbeat if I needed help.... read more

We needed our car towed to a repair shop on a Monday morning. Arranged through AAA, the tow truck driver brought a flatbed (the car lost steering capability), arrived well before the estimated arrival time, and was incredibly friendly, professional, and careful. I've experienced some pretty rough loading/unloading of my car by other tow companies, but he took time to make adjustments as needed. I only wish I'd caught his name to thank him specifically! He helped make a pretty stressful Monday morning much less so. Thanks! read more

I had a flat tire, called AAA, and Watertown Towing was here within 30 minutes. He was very professional, very quick, and even explained to me that I would just need a patch of my tire and not to let someone try and sell me a new tire. Excellent experience! read more

I love these guys, and Mike is the best. He came to tow my car this afternoon, when I thought I needed a new starter. Turned out, it was a dead battery. Not only did he jump-start my car -- no big deal, but big for me, as I thought the problem was elsewhere -- he also took the time to enlighten me as signs to look for to detect the problem. That's what educators do, and as a professional, Mike's an educator. The very best kind of professional, who empowers the customer. Bravo, Mike! Bravo, Watertown Towing! read more

Wow...such a pleasure! I was stranded in Wellsley, MA from southern VT...clutch went on my car. I needed a tow back to Vermont with AAA but was a little concerned about a long drive in a tow truck. The man who arrived (George, maybe?) was so friendly and polite and funny. Great service! read more
