I've loved these burritos for as long as I can remember, and they're still my #1 spot for breakfast burritos. The staff is always so kind and greets you with a warm welcome as soon as you walk in. It does get pretty packed, so I usually order ahead on the app and just walk in for pickup. There's plenty of seating inside as well. Their menu has changed over the years, and the one thing I still think about is their bagels. They were SO good, and I really hope they bring them back someday! The burritos are a little smaller than some of the competition, and some might find them a bit pricey for the size. But what they lack in size, they definitely make up for in flavor. Still one of my favorites!
This is one of the best breakfast burritos in LA. First thing I noticed the tots were still really crispy. The bacon was flavorful and crunchy, the eggs were fluffy, the avocado added richness, and the cheese was nice and gooey. Overall, every bite was delicious and so satisfying. The sauce on the side added a nice zing.
Wake and Late has become my new go-to breakfast/lunch spot in Pasadena! I discovered Wake and Late about three weeks ago, and I've already been here about 6 or 7 times! I can honestly say I'm hooked. Their burritos have become a staple for me, especially because they're not overly filling and, unlike a lot of breakfast burritos I've had, they don't leave me feeling super bloated afterward. I keep my burrito pretty basic since I don't like meat in my burrito. I usually get egg, cheese, avocado, and tater tots, and it's SO good. I did try adding the refried beans once, and the first time they were delicious. Unfortunately, the second time they tasted a little off, so now I just stick with my usual order without the beans. And let's talk about the iced coffee! This is probably one of my favorite things here. I work in the area and parking in Pasadena can be a nightmare, so I usually walk about 15 minutes from work. By the time I get here, especially on a hot day, I'm completely overheated and that iced coffee hits the spot every single time. Definitely recommend getting one! The service has also been consistently great. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and friendly, and the whole operation is really efficient. I also love their app. If it's your first time and you download the app, you get $10 off, which I thought was a great incentive. You also earn rewards with your purchases that you can use toward future orders, and I really appreciate that. Those little perks go a long way! My only complaints are the prices for add-ons. I think $2.50 just to add refried beans is a little steep, especially when you're already purchasing a burrito. Bacon being $4 is also on the pricey side. I don't mind paying typical Pasadena prices, but I do think some of the add-on costs could be more reasonable. Overall, though, I really enjoy Wake and Late and it has quickly become my go-to breakfast/lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Great burritos, AMAZING iced coffee, friendly employees, and a really efficient operation. Their packaging/logo is very nice also. I definitely recommend checking them out and get the iced coffee!
I LOVE wake and late. This is my favorite place to get breakfast burritos! My favorite part is the tater tots, they're so crispy and add the perfect crunch to each bite. I also love how compact the burrito is. A lot of people say the size is too small for the price, but personally I think it's the perfect size and fills me up so I'm not too full or still hungry. I usually get it with the hot sauce & chipotle aioli too. I love having it with the iced vanilla bean latte which is not too sweet. I've also had their matcha latte which is pretty good too. The service is also great, the workers have always been kind to me. Good amount of seating inside but if you go during a busy time (weekends late morning) it can be a bit tough. Overall, great service and delicious food!
Went during lunch on Saturday. There was. Lot of people. The line was not obvious. There isn't a counter with a cash register. So I'm guessing no one pays cash?? The menu is at the register table so there isn't a place where people can see the menu. While they took our order, we prob waited 20 min for our food. The burrito is small for the price. For ~$15, I got the Burrito with Pickled jalapeño and chipotle aioli. I ate the whole burrito and was still hungry. I feel like it was an appetizer size. It is a really good burrito. The avocado, tater tots, cheese, and eggs blended so well with the pickled jalapeños. Flavorful and not salty. There are indoor seats but is limited. Parking is metered street parking.
Heard from several people that this place had one of the best breakfast burritos so had to check it out. Inside of the place is nice and service is welcoming, friendly, and helpful! We had their breakfast burrito, one with bacon and one with steak along with the cilantro crème sauce and the spicy sauce. Would definitely say the burrito itself is a 9/10. However, the size of the burrito and the price for it is the only downside. It's pricey! Other than that solid place!
I needed a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast before work, so I decided to stop by here. I ordered the steak breakfast burrito and a vanilla bean latte. The café is surprisingly spacious with plenty of tables for dining, hanging out, or even studying. The steak burrito with the cilantro sauce was the perfect combo. The worker recommended that sauce, and he was absolutely right--it paired perfectly. The burrito is on the smaller side, but it was delicious. The crunchy hash brown, avocado, and steak all worked really well together. My coffee was great too, and they offer different milk options, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
Cute little place right next to 24 hour fitness. It was like 1 min walk so if you're starving after a workout, this is the place. The food: Very limited option, it's for burrito only. However the burrito has everything I needed: eggs, potato totes, avocado, cheese and bacon. They also have 2 creamy sauces that I like: cilantro and chipotle. I had the Ice Caffe served frozen. It was quite small but strong and enough after the workout. It was delicious too! The vibe: It seems chill but not too much decor. They blocked out a lot of spaces behind the counter and there were limited seating spaces. It was also hard to hear when they call your name for the order. I think it's better if we can get a text message when the order is ready. Overall, it was nice and definitely will go back again.
I got the steak breakfast burrito 10/10. The tater tots crunch was perfect and all the flavors blended together perfectly. Both sauces on the side are amazing. Chipotle aioli is really good and so is the cilantro crema is super good as well. I've heard a lot about this burrito on TikTok and people say it's overrated but honestly it was really good. I know a lot of people complaint is about price for size but idk I think this is the perfect size for a good breakfast. The vanilla latte was good nothing special like a 8/10. The service was good the girl at the front was nice. The inside is huge it was pretty empty though. I like the interior simple.
We had delivery from this spot and it was simply amazing! The burritos are authentic Juarez style, so long and thin. We tried the steak burrito which was thicc and delicious. The bean and cheese was authentic and delicious but the chile verde was the award winner of the group! Can't wait to go in person and enjoy the atmosphere and the service!

first time and it stood out in allll the ways. 1. "no tipping policy because the prices reflect accordingly" love the openness of it! and the bold choice in such intense tipping culture 2. FOOD: base burrito ($12) with others as add ons. I did the refried beans add-on and it was sooo good. They do a light like toast of the burrito and it....that first crunch bite (and then following ones) were SO GOOD! It looks small and my dumb american brain thought it was too teeny but it was REALLY filling. I wanted to stop halfway but...finished it and my partner that does eat more than I do said it wasn't HUGE but he felt FULL like he didn't crave or want other things which is solid- a fuullll meal. *healing from that american brain* 3. Ambience: it is HIIIGH ceilings, lit up, and I like the vibess of where you can hear the people and the cooking and all so liked it a lot. there was only one big table and I was glad that we got it, but a lot of little tables around. OVERALL: Soliddd spot and really love #1 for them : ) also... that tortilla and toasting of it!!
Vanilla bean latte - also nothing special but very sweet even though the coloring is good. Matcha latte with oat milk - good nothing special 7/10 Breakfast burrito - 8.2/10 small!!! Not too much egg you can actually finish it. Not too heavy or oily. It's really cute in here and tons of seating very clean and lots of natural light. Quick service and doesn't look like there's wifi here :/ no outlets to work from here also.

The breakfast burrito tasted great! I added bacon and chose the chipotle sauce, which gave it a nice kick. It costs around $18 and is about six inches long, so it does seem a little small for the price. Overall, I enjoyed it more than the breakfast burrito at Lucky Boy, although Lucky Boy's is much larger and less expensive. I would still highly recommend giving this one a try. read more

I tried the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was quite tasty and high quality! The perfect breakfast meal that could easily be split by two if you're trying to keep it light. I had these delivered so I am not sure about the service or interior but I want to swing by for dine-in one day. They offer bagels on Friday and Saturday which I heard good reviews about. The price is a bit high however, adding meat such as bacon or sausage pushes it over the 20 dollar range. A nice treat if you're planning to splurge. read more
As we walked in at 11:30 AM, the cashier was ready for us but we weren't ready. Shop have a lot of seating area. The food was actually super delicious. I loved it spicy and the juarez was full of birria meat!!!! This portion was still a bit small for my stomach though and it costed $12. The matcha latte was actually super delicious surprisingly. It was not overly sweet and the flavor of matcha was very strong. I just saw other pictures of Crossaint and did not find it anywhere on the menu but that might be a breakfast menu? read more
Came here on Friday with my partner. She has been dying to try this place. So we finally came here. The space is HUGE and the sound echos. The music was loud in the background and it was hard to hear our name when the food was ready. We had the corridor coffee and their burrito. Good on all fronts. Like others have said, the burrito is on the smaller side but I thought it was the perfect size for portion control. For the size and price, I thought it was a good price. Amazing ambience in this café. The building was formerly some sort of bank, so there are very high ceilings, lots of indoor seating and an overall beautiful atmosphere. We got there when they just opened to order some breakfast burritos. We got two vegetarian burritos and one with bacon. They were definitely pricey but even though they look small, they are filling. There was no wait because they had just opened and we were literally the first 3 orders placed. It did take a little bit to get our food though. The burritos themselves were DELICIOUS, very well balanced with amazing sauce. Highly recommend the cilantro crema, we got the chipotle aioli as well but liked the crema better. Nothing was too overpowering or stuffed in this burrito, where sometimes there's too much egg or potato or tortilla. The decor was very cute and the service was great. Parking was a little interesting in Pasadena, but we ended up parking down the street on a. free 2 hour street parking sign. It might be much harder to find at another time of day though, since it was early morning when we visited. read more

Bottom line: It's a breakfast burrito place. A little pricey for the size you get. It's a nice space to sit and enjoy the burrito. The burrito was tasty but not sure I'd be heading back except the Americano was one of the best I've had. read more
Let me say that the flavor of this burrito is 5 stars. Its just extremely f*cking tiny for price. $19.50 for a burrito that size is crazy, no matter how good it tastes. I even had beans added, but it seemed like there was many 5 beans in it. My daughter wanted a OGBB (OG Breakfast Burrito) so we went there as well. I included a Pic to show the size difference. Also, when I went to get the burrito, I was told I was in a locker, but when it opened, there was no burrito. The employee was holding it. But yeah, would I eat here again, maybe. It was really good. Overall really good ingredients! The steak is grass fed and the eggs are free range. The cilantro crème salsa was amazing! The portion sizes are on the smaller side but still filling. The building is gorgeous, spacious and the orange decor is absolutely adorable. Great ambiance with the music too, not too loud. Our cashier was friendly and answered our questions about the menu, they're efficient too because you don't have to wait long even though it can get pretty busy! read more

This was surprising a really good burrito. The burrito itself was $12 and if you wanted an extra protein that would be an extra $4-$5. It was a decent size burrito, definitely enough for one person. I would come back again. read more

Was driving on 210 to Vegas and craved a burrito. Had this save on my Yelp cause burritos looked good, so stopped here. Did a DoorDash pick up order. Perfect timing. It was ready when we pulled up. You scan your DoorDash app and the a locker door opens up with your order in it. Ordered the bacon burrito. Yes it's on the smaller size. But it has soo much in it and the the cilantro cream adds more to it. It was yummy and would come here again. read more
I like places with small menus cuz it just means they specialize in the food they serve . Tbh I'd like to say I'd give this a 4.5 stars . To start off with I've had churros in Spain and ceviche in Mexico and tacos from ave 26. The palette here is different from most places that serve burritos. This place has a vibe of like urth cafe and probably the same audience as urth cafe If you're coming in for a big burrito , you'll probably be left with wanting more . I will say the ingredients tasted like good quality ingredients . It doesn't have that oily greasy fatty taste in burritos . To my palette this is one of the best burritos I've had. The sauces tasted good too but I felt like I didn't need any sauce with mine. I also love that the service is amazing. MJ was very kind and welcoming . As I continue to search the top breakfast burritos in So Cal, a friend recommended Wake and Late. With other locations, I chose the Pasadena location since it was the quickest to get to and I know I wouldn't have to deal with the DTLA traffic. I knew going in that it was going to be expensive. Let's be real...tortilla, eggs, potatoes and meat don't always = $18 burrito. Unfortunately this is the case, well, both cases as we got two burritos - Bacon and Steak. The service was fine as they were training a new cashier. We also ordered the matcha, but forgot to take a picture of it. Anyways, it wasn't that good and tasted like pineapple was added... Onto the burritos...for the price I was expecting something spectacular, but that wasn't the case. In all fairness, it was a good breakfast burrito but not $18 and $19. The bacon burrito had bacon bits, literally bacon bits. The potatoes were just chopped up, double-fried hash brown patties. Usually the sauce will make up for some of the losses, but it was just a hot sauce with a small kick. The steak burrito was similar with small pieces of beef, nothing special or flavorful. Lastly, the size of the burrito was not what I expected, especially for the price. If you were to ask me, the size of the burrito should be about $9.75 My suggestion is to lower the price by saving on some of the heavy, paper packaging we got for the two burritos and we dined inside. With such a large inside space, no wonder the burritos were so much. I thought I was at LAX. But hey, try it yourself and make your own assessment. 3.5 stars and I'm rounding up for the nice service and helpful staff. I barraged them with questions, and they kindly guided my choices. Disclaimer: I judge every breakfast burrito against Lucky Boy, btw. That's my standard-bearer. I enjoyed: - the Steak breakfast burrito @ $19 - Iced Vanilla Bean Latte with organic Oat milk @ $7.50 (better than your corporate coffee) - Cilantro crema - Chipotle aioli (vegan) Both sauces were tasty and neither was too spicy. The steak burrito was the way to go, and I would like to come back and try the bacon for $1 less. The tater tots inside are good and sort of set this burrito apart from others. This place was busy and I was still served quickly. I enjoyed the high ceilings and the spacious, light, open and airy dining area. Free water was available, too. Unfortunately, the size is what really sets this apart from other breakfast burritos I've enjoyed recently. The value is not there at this price point. This review is based on my visit on 7/12/25. A former colleague clued me in on their breakfast burritos, and I'm so glad she did. They don't mess around when it comes to breakfast. These burritos are STUFFED with crispy tater tots, eggs, your protein of choice (mine was bacon), and cheesy goodness. They come with a choice of two sauces - I chose the cilantro and chipotle - which were a banging combo. They had lots of other interesting items too - including bagels made with fermented dough. Too much goodness. This place is definitely worthy of a repeat visit. read more
One of my fav breakfast burritos This location specifically, the Pasadena one, is located inside what looks like an old bank- super aesthetic! I'm obsessed with the orange theme they have going on too They have a rather simple menu, but delicious. We got the steak breakfast burrito and the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Both were reallyyyy good!! I loved the steak one especially. It was flavorful, and I also liked the textures in the burrito like the satisfying crunch of the tater tots with the softness of the eggs and slight crispiness with the tortilla. We ALSO got their Rip & Dip bagels! I reallyyyy wish I took a photo of these, but we ended up saving them for later because we were so full and I forgot. We got one sweet onion bagel and one parm bagel, along with two of their whipped spreads- scallion and honeycomb butter. I was OBSESSED. The bagels were like huge balls and so fluffy inside. Since the spreads were seperate, we ripped prices of the bagel and dipped it in the spreads. I loved them. The scallion one was delicious, as it always is at other places too. The honeycomb butter was unique, but I'm so glad we were recommended it. It added a subtle sweetness to the bagel. But pricy for small burritos but worth the try + Vegetarian burrito ($15 - $2 no avocado; cilantro crema and chipotle aioli): had avocado at home so saved $2! Didn't have it fresh so tots weren't crispy, but tortilla was doughy yet nicely toasted and everything was tightly wrapped, amazing with the cilantro crema. finally got to try this spot! the inside is very spacious, i was surprised on the interior. service was nice and they didn't take that long with my burrito. i got the steak with cilantro crema sauce and it was yummy!! the burrito comes in a cute box and the contents are pretty compact inside it. the tots inside were super crispy which was a nice touch :) the creama sauce was my fav !!! price is a bit hefty though read more

I ordered a plain bagel with honeycomb butter (SO good...oh my word!!!) and an iced latte. I placed the order in person and waited about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The staff member who took my order was absolutely lovely, I wish I got her name to give her a shoutout! The espresso is definitely a dark roast, which I LOVE! The latte was strong on the espresso flavor and not diluted at all with the milk. I love that! The space is humongous and has such a stunning interior. For the bagel and spread and latte, I spent $16 so it is definitely pricier. But from what I understand, they are very conscious about the ingredients they use. Honestly, I feel like the quality justifies the cost. Just be patient if you do order in person. read more
Heard great things about this being the best breakfast burrito in LA. I got the Steak and it was delicious - tender steak, crispy tater tots and scrambled eggs wrapped in a crispy tortilla. The thing that also completes this is the sauce - I got the Chipotle & Cilantro Crema. Both are amazing and fresh. The downside is the price being at $19 for a small portion small enough to fit my hand. Reason being 4/5 stars. The service was good, huge space although half of it was blocked off. read more

It's ridiculous how small the burritos are but how expensive they remain. The deliciousness doesn't outweigh the cost: one vegetarian and one steak burrito costs almost $40! Ridiculous. read more
This is my favorite spot in the LA area to grab a breakfast burrito!! It's a little more expensive than your typical spot, but the quality of the ingredients more than makes up for it in my opinion. My go-to order is the grass-fed carne asada burrito. It's flavorful, perfectly cooked tender beef, and made with real care. And don't even get me started on the sauces. I love all of them, but the cilantro crema is my absolute favorite! I usually order ahead, and pick up is a breeze in terms of service. But feel free to sit down and enjoy your burrito while it's still warm and fresh! Ambiance is casual. Wake And Late is the kind of place you'll crave once you've tried it, and it's always worth a stop for me. Highly recommend!! read more

Wake and Late has gone super downhill! I literally loved this place because the quality and taste of their food was amazing! The size of their burritos used to be perfect, a little on the small side (IMO), but I always justified it by the quality of their ingredients. Recently, I ordered delivery and it was terrible! First off, the food took almost 1.5 hours, which is unacceptable. After that, I noticed that their burritos have gotten even SMALLER than they were before. It literally felt like I was just eating a tortilla without anything inside of it. Disappointing! Finally, it cost about $85 for two burritos, two lattes and one additional item. No, thank you! I will not be recommending this place from now on, unless they increase their portion sizes. There are far better breakfast burrito shops in the city, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more
The good: the food is tasty, the green salsa was delicious, the inside has a great seating areas that is very spacious and doesn't feel stuffy. The bad: the size was pretty small. I don't typically finish my meals and usually have leftovers but here I didn't. I ate the whole thing and the burrito is about the size of my hand (which is small- like the size of an iPhone 16 pro). I got the vegetarian breakfast burrito but it seemed like all the burritos were that size. So if you want something filling, I don't think this would be a good option, however if you eat more than me and want a snack then this could be your spot! It took about 10-15 mins to get our food, which wasn't too bad bc we all ordered drinks and breakfast burritos. Steak Breakfast Burrito: overall this burrito was so good. The steak was seasoned and super tender and the crispy tater tots def added a great texture and balanced the egg and avocado. For a Sunday morning it was empty inside but getting my burrito super quick made up for that. For the price $18 it was on the small side but the flavor was amazing I didn't even care. 8.5/10 read more
