    Happy girl going home

We have a 5 year old German shepherd/husky mix named Luna. She's a nervous Nelly and while we have tried keeping up with her grooming at home it isn't always easy as she's a big whiner and doesn't like for us to touch her feet too much. The team at Waggy baths did such a great job at her grooming appointment. She looks so beautiful and refreshed and ready for the spring weather. Really appreciate the love and care they had towards her. I would 100% recommend to others.

We love Waggy baths! Waggy baths is a small local business on the side of 28 and although it's seems like it's just a strip mall store, it's a cute grooming space that utilizes all its sq footage and allows an intimate groom for your precious pup. They take care of my pups treating them like their own which as any pet owner knows makes you feel comfortable leaving them. Your pups will get pets & love! I love how they know my dogs personalities and make sure to keep them together

Everything from start to beginning was amazing! It was my first time taking my Pup to get groomed. When booking an appointment they use a text system. Personally, I appreciate this System over getting emails or having to download an app to make appointment. It's convenient because it sends reminders, confirmations, updates, and your receipt if you opt for it. So brownie point for that! As far as the grooming, I am in love with the outcome. My puppy is 9 month old Irish wolfhound mix who sheds A LOT. So, I asked for a de shedding treatment and an all around trim to get a clean look. Because he is so long haired and shaggy, he naturally looks so much older than he is. But after his appointment, he looked Soooo cute and young! His fur was so so soft and he smelled so good. They also added a cute little touch, peep the before and after pictures We'll definitely be coming back.

Try waggy baths for the first time, and we love how cute and fluffy our boy is once we got him back. The groomers seem knowledgeable and caring for the pups there. There were three or four groomer there when I took my pup in and everyone seem busy and efficient. I really like that they would text and let me know when he almost done so we can pick him up right away rather then some place would leave our pup in there for hours without notifying us. Our pup finished in like two hours and half, which is great considering how big and how much hair he has. I do appreciate getting him back without any cut or redness on the razor line. Oh and have I mention they even clean his ears even when I forgot to mention it, I really do appreciate the detail of the grooming like shiny paw, clean ears, et al. Really wish this place can be closer to us, but with the quality of the grooming and how caring they are for our pup, it's definitely worth the drive. Definitely coming back again!

Lucky Dog practices cageless grooming which I thought was interesting and quite kind to pets. Setting appointments is easy - I either call or text for appointments and they respond almost right away. The prices are reasonable too and they do a really good job grooming our dogs. Our dogs always look happy and relaxed after their appointments which says a lot about this business. Highly recommended!

I usually groom my dogs myself, but I've been sick and unable to do it lately. I was hoping to find someone reliable to start handling their baths on a regular basis. I have back issues, which is why I stopped professionally grooming to begin with. The first thing they asked was if I'd been there before. I said no, I would be a new customer. Then they immediately asked what breed my dogs were. I told them the truth: they're purebred English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. The response? "Oh, you could've just said pit bulls -- it's okay." First of all, no -- they are not pit bulls. They are English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Pitbulls and Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not the same breed. Right after that, I was told, "Well, we're not taking new clients anyway." Interesting. Because if that were true, wouldn't you have said that the moment I said I was a new customer? It's obvious what really happened -- you heard the breed and assumed they were pitbulls. This is classic breed discrimination. You judged my dogs without knowing anything about them. The truth is, they're two of the sweetest, most well-behaved, trained dogs you could ever meet. They've been getting groomed since they were tiny puppies and love being pampered. But because of your prejudice, you turned away two perfect clients. Call it what it is: dog racism and ignorance. If you're going to work in this field, at least educate yourself on breeds.

Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. You won't regret going with this business for your furry friend's grooming needs. Highly recommended. ***In the post-grooming photo of my pup, he'd had a recent vet procedure that resulted in a stitch in his forehead and a partially shaved right leg. Most groomers do multiple dogs at once--and your dog sits in a cage in the meantime. Not great. Maria is working with just one dog --yours--from start to finish--so it's way less stress for your baby. I should also mention that Maria is the best, kindest, most competent dog groomer in the DMV. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Not only will your furbaby be gorgeously groomed, you will have the peace of mind of knowing he is being cared for by 1) someone who genuinely loves dogs, and 2) is also incredibly talented and experienced. Of course, I clearly asked for a schnauzer cut. When I came back to pick her up, they had once again cut her fur the same length all over. This isn't the first time this has happened, which is why it's especially frustrating. The only part they seemed to get right was leaving her beard, but the rest of the grooming completely ignored what I requested. I tried to be patient and gave them several opportunities to get it right, but at this point, I've lost confidence in their ability to follow simple instructions. Unfortunately, this was their last chance. That said, the staff is very friendly and they treated my pup well. But what's the point if they don't do what you have paid for? Maybe they just don't know how to do a Schnauzer cut.
