Tucked away location makes easy to get in and out when dropping off and picking up. The did a great job grooming both of my medium size Golden Doodles. I was very impressed what a great job they did and I had gotten a Saturday appointment within a week of calling for an appointment. read more

Lovely Pet Salon - after grooming - Pet Groomers Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

We have been going to this place for past 2 years. Always giving a benefit of a doubt. My Yorkshire terrier always comes back with a super duper short hair cut looking like a cat. Hair grows so I didn't mind as long as she was happy getting groomed. Our dog stayed from 8/12-19 for boarding and grooming to be done when I was picking her up on 8/19. The front desk told me she moved her ears during grooming and her ear got cut so he won't charge for one day of boarding. After we got home we found multiple scratches on her body along with a choppy haircut on her paws and face. I called and sent the pictures to the owner. He apologized and told me a free grooming next time. But I don't think I'll be sending my dog here again. read more

Lovely Pet Salon is great! I'm so glad that I was able to find a groomer for my two dogs, Maltese-Shih Tzu mixes, who don't get groomed regularly. My dogs have high separation anxiety and get freaked out in new/unknown environments, but were able to adjust quickly at Lovely Pet Salon. We were able to get an appointment the same week that we called in. The owner is very kind and the prices are extremely fair for the quality of the services and what I've seen in this area. The shop is very clean and well-kept. We were able to choose what length we preferred and explain what kind of "look" we wanted for the two of them. The groom for the two dogs was fairly quick compared to our previous experiences with other groomers. When we went to pick up my two pups, they looked adorable with their Saint Patrick's Day bows/ribbons and smelled great. It usually takes me over 30 minutes to try and trim their nails at home, but now their nails are trimmed, cleaned and look better than ever. I was worried that they'd be stressed out, but they were happily hanging out and actually got the zoomies when they came home. Thank you Lovely Pet Salon for making our dogs' groom an awesome experience. We can't wait for their next visit. We're happy to have found our forever groomer :) read more

The team is actually great to work with. I brought my puppy here for his 1st grooming and it was a great experience. Puppy has been a few times under seven yet he shows no reluctancy. He actually goes to the back and he's very calm and I've seen him sit well for the service(s). Here's pictures so far so great! Puppy will definitely visit again and again. ***Thank you LPS. read more

Bristow location -- They rushed my dog's grooming appointment and damaged his cornea. They never told me about it or alerted me to any issues. My dog was rubbing his eye with his paw after the appointment, I ended up taking him to the vet and he had a scratched cornea. When I called Lovely Pet Salon to complain they told me he was very difficult but never communicated this to me until I called to report his eye was injured. I spent hundreds of dollars in vet bills and my dog was in pain and stressed out, he had to wear a cone for 3 weeks and was on eye drops. I would NOT trust taking your pet here. I will never go back. Stay away from this place!!! read more

Took our 1-year old goldendoodle for a bath and nail trim here. They did an excellent job and her fur is all nice and soft and clean and even smells good. At a reasonable price. Will definitely be taking her back here for a trim when the time comes. Highly recommend. read more

Went here on this past Wednesday 2/2/23 to pick up my puppy only to find out that her blood vessels bursted in her left eye to the point where she couldn't keep herefopen the next day bc it hurt so mu Alan, who I assume is the owners son, negligently handled my puppy. Alan claims that when he was trying to place my puppy in the table, she jerked the leash that Alan placed on her. Like WTF?!?? Alan claims that when "puppies get stressed anxious or excited, their eyes get red. This is not possible in this instance bc my puppy's eyes were not only red, there were blood vessels that BURSTED causing her eyes to bulge out and there is a deep red mark around her neck where the leash was on. This was done for an extended period of time or many times. I understand puppies can get antsy or move a lot but not to this degree at all where her eyes are shown like in the pics below. They claimed that I was "going too far" when I reached out to them. Now tell me why does my puppy's ENTIRE eyes not only were red, the vessels popped and her eyes bulged out of the socket. This place has clearly mishandled my puppy. I want to bring awareness to this and I don't want any pet owner to have to go through this. When I brought situation to their attention, they simply said "I was going too far" and NEVER apologized neither. There was no empathy at all coming from them. Please be advised. If you love your pet like I love mine. read more

Lovely Pet Salon is the best grooming I have been to so far. They put much more care compares to the big name pet stores and other local grooming salons. The price is also very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and quality is always high. Would highly recommend. Request for groomer Esther. read more

If I were to give them a rating, it would be 0 out of 10. I had posted a review in google before too but wanted to make sure this was on yelp so it has more visibility. My dog is a Maltese. We usually take him to petsmart, but my family wanted to see if we can take him to a private salon to see how they do there. So we went to Lovely Pet Salon which happens to be near our house. I told them what I needed to get done with my dog and they said they will do it. So, when I came back to pick him up, something didn't add up. First, he wasn't even smelling fresh. They didn't use any shampoo! Second, they plucked small hair from inside his ears, which i never ever asked them to do and they never asked me before doing that. This caused an ear infection and my dog was whining for two days straight. I give them a call and asked for a refund. They wouldn't even acknowledge or apologize. Instead, the guy told me I was disgusting for asking a refund. I will never go back there again and would recommend all you guys reading this comment not to go back there. I ended up paying 300 dollars to the Vet. No thanks, I will stick to PetsMart where they actually know what they are doing. read more

For the price point, their service is as good as it gets. Bryan was gentle and thorough with our long-haired Chihuahua. Don't let the past sour reviews dissuade you---we have been going here since opening and their grooming skills have greatly improved with practice. Check out the photos of our dog from today---no uneven or missed spots! For a dog as little as ours, haircut, nail clipping, and shampoo/blow-dry was $25 excluding tip. Upon completion, they fit each dog with a cute bandana. Something to consider when reading the negative reviews: it's difficult to trim a dog evenly when they fidget and fight the groomer. Our dog was calm and still throughout the process, and the results show that. If you know your dog hates visiting the groomer, stay with your dog and encourage him to behave. Don't leave them alone to panic, and then blame the groomer for a job not well done. read more

What a blessing to find Lovely Pet!! After a really bad experience with grooming of my rescue pup Dakota at a big chain place, I made an appointment to have him groomed here at Lovely Pet (just 1 week later) they were wonderful, Dakota was so happy when I picked him up! And he's half the size!!!! I will be a customer for life - I highly recommend them!!! read more

We have been taking our 16 year old Bischon to Lovely pet for the past 4 years. They are absolutely amazing and so caring and affectionate with the animals. Thank you Lovely Pet for taking such great care of Nahla! read more

This was our one point destination till now. Recently I found that there is change of owners and prices have doubled. They did a great job for a reasonable price but now I have to look for another groomer this time they gave a weird cut to my dog. Completely stripped off his fur, my dog looks naked! He looks nothing like a labradoodle, my 50 pounder looks terrible. Uneven cut on his face, which looks like a frown... I think even he is unhappy. First time I am not impressed. He has a clipper cut near his neck which has never happened before. I brought it up, to that, they said it was nothing. Other than that they were courteous as usual. read more

Horrible first time experience here with my golden retriever. They nicked his paw and refused to take responsibility. They did not apologize for the accident, told me they did not do it and charged me $125. Cost me another $100 at the vet to get him checked out. Do not recommend!! read more

Do not take your pet here. I took my dog here on the regular before this new management. The new management did not tell me there was a price increase until after they were finished, in which they gave me a measly $5 discount because of the inconvenience. In addition, my dog was totally spooked out as soon as we entered. I knew something wasn't right, but again, I didn't even realize it was under new management until I came back to pick my dog up and pay. My dog was acting very strange as though they did something to him. It was a terrible experience. I caution everyone not to take their loving pets here, even if the cost is a bit lower than other places. They Can't be trusted. read more

We called and set an appointment for our 2 large dogs- Aussie mix and husky- on a Wednesday and we were able to get an appointment for that same week Friday! This was my puppy's first time at the groomers. All I can say is that they did an amazing job! He looks great and he had a wonderful first experience. I brought my dog here for years. Last week was his last grooming here because later I noticed they cut my dog's skin in different places. I don't need a return or refund. At least tell the truth, say sorry and try to compensate your client. But instead they hide it, they don't tell you, unless you notice it and mention it to them. Very Sad! Price increase under new management. They don't even include teeth brushing like it used to be. It's now $10 extra. I don't recommend this place anymore. Will not be coming back. read more

Quick last minute appointments and they do a good job. Other groomers stopped taking our senior dog but they didn't.

This is my second time going to this location and I am just so happy to have stumbled upon this place. Again - great service! Happy staff that takes walk-ins and remembered my pup! Handled my aging old man with care, which is the most important thing. And really you just can't beat their prices!! read more

It was a lot better when Brian was there. The new owners only care about making a profit.

Amazing place! My dog always leaves happy and very well groomed. I was suspicious after reading the comments about the new management, but they did such a great job! Price is very reasonable, especially when comparing to big companies like Petsmart. They really take their time to get everything perfect instead of rushing. It's worth the $. Support places like this that care to do their best and aren't big engines such as Petco and Petsmart! read more

I tried and tried to like this salon. I went there probably 5-6 times. Why? It's very close to my house and the price, $55 is very reasonable. EVERY TIME I had to either have them redo his haircut or I did it myself due to it being EXTREMELY uneven. My haircuts are better then there's!! My poor dog is butchered once again. In this case you get what you pay for. Beware! read more

We took our dog to Lovely Pet Salon today for the first time and we were more than impressed! Lovely Pet Salon did a great job on my HIGH energy little guy. I can bathe him myself but trimming him is a wrestling challenge. LPS bathed, trimmed, cleaned ears and brushed teeth. The price was great in comparison to around here. If I couldn't pick him up right away (which wasn't the case this time) he goes to a waiting room not a cage, which is a HUGE deal. My dog looks nice and was treated well. I recommend Lovely Pet Salon and will use them exclusively. read more

I've taken my puppy to this groomer about 7 times so far and I've got to say so far so good. Brian is very friendly and the price is fair. I've taken my dog to other groomers before and while some places were great, the price left a big hole in my wallet. I like that Lovely Pet Salon does a decent job and the price is very reasonable. I will say, they don't do the "prettiest" job but my dog always comes home happy and pretty well groomed. I think that's most important to me. That my pup comes home without any signs of anxiety. It just goes to show you how attentive the employee(s) are over there. read more
