Keeping our dog clean and happy. Pet supplies plus has become his favorite place to go. They have a great healthy options for treats. The special baked treats we get to help with getting his ears medicated. They have great deals when you sign up for the reward program. We tried our hand at the self service wash today and it went pretty well. The staff are always really friendly to both us and our dog. The prices are really reasonable/affordable compared to big brand pet stores. This is definitely our go to when we need to re up on pet supplies. read more

Melek does a really fine job calming and grooming our dog, Rose, who can get quite nervous, but responded so well in this and her previous visit. Very pleased with Melek's professionalism and her rapport with animals -- as well as their owners. Also the store is excellent and we prefer it to the bigger name stores; good selection of just about everything we need, and the staff has a good attitude and spirit. I came here since someone recommended me that they offer $10 wash fee for your dog. Well I have two large dogs and that shed a lot. It's exhausting washing these two at home and well for $20 to use the facility was awesome! They provide you unlimited towels, shampoo, brushes, and a dryer. This was awesome since you can hook your dog in so they can't run away. Makes it go by faster and once your done your good to go. It's seriously the best when you have a dog that sheds. I also made a purchase of their dog food which I usually buy at petsmart. They are actually cheaper then petsmart and have coupons. Who would've thought? If I could give 0 stars I would. The employee Joshua Joo is so very rude! He wanted to argue with me because the store had a misleading sale price and I inquired about it. He then wanted to argue more and was so nasty to me, a customer who was there to spend money at their store. We use to go to this store once a week but after so many nasty encounters with their rude staff, we have switched to Petco. Petco also gives a discount and free food after buying so many bags. The Manassas pet supply plus sucks! Save your money and go to a Petco. It's way better!!! Even chewy.com is better than this PSP Manassas. Also- they had a dirty cookie container with cookies that looked old and barely had any stock of them. They also didn't have 2 items we came for and they had the duck feet mixed in with the chicken feet. Which are two different prices. You can tell the employees don't care at all about the store or the customer. read more

I'm impressed with the service, products and cleanliness of this shop. They really seem to care. All the fish were alive and swimming happily in the tanks. I usually cant even look at the fish wall in other chain stores (it's too heartbreaking) but this place had healthy animals. I was expecting it to be much more expensive than the other nearby box shop, but surprisingly much of the stuff was better and CHEAPER!! I appreciate the extra mile Carmen went to help me get my credit card back. I went shopping there and used my card and did not realize until the next day I did not have it. I called the store and asked if they had it there and the girl who answered could not find it. Then a few minutes later I got a call from your store and Carmen told me he would look at the camera to see what happened, so he found me on the video and saw I left the card in the machine. The customer behind me pointed to it and the cashier took it. Carmen did find it in the cash drawer and had it waiting for me to pick up. Went to this location a few weeks ago to bathe my dog Bruce at the "do it yourself dog wash". I have gone to the stone rd Centreville location in years past so I knew it would get the job done, but I wasn't expecting anything fancy per say. However I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with our experience and the staff at this location and will always go here now over other pet stores. Me and my significant other purchased a 3 bath package, but they were out of the 3 bath punch cards, so they gave us a 6 count card for the price of the 3. Very generous. Then when I went to the bathing area I was so impressed with how clean and dry it was. There was a cute little rolled towel on the tub with a heart-shaped treat on top... nice touch and very "spa-like" haha. There were cleaned brushes hanging on the wall free for us to use as well as nail clippers etc. There were aprons for us to wear so we could avoid getting wet and we also had access to unlimited towels so we put some on the floor as well to soak up what was inevitable (our dog Bruce is an 90 pound puppy, even though very good in the bath). They also provide free shampoo and conditioner, as well as a dryer to dry your pet before leaving. The water was a little cold was my only complaint but my dog didn't seem to care too much.... The groomer was in and there was a sign where it said to ask for help with anything and offered a la carte services but not sure on price. However she was awesome and let me borrow some kwik-stop when I nicked my dogs nails. I don't remember all of the employee names but Haiden was also a helpful employee, as well as the cashiers who checked us out. At the end you also get a baggie where you can fill it up with free treats. I think this is with any bath but not sure if just for package. Regardless, very nice touch. Overall thanks so much Pet Supplies Plus for a great experience and we will be back. Probably tomorrow for another of our baths! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place for dog self wash. Because they took all brushes away and saying it's due to COVID, doesn't make sense. Where you still can use nasty apron and towels and shampoo how about COVID for these items? But they offer to you to buy one. Also water hose is hard to open and close. Also dryer works half way. Better place to wash your dog in this area is in Centreville Pet Supplies plus same store, but better service. And to all of it they increased price to $14 to what??? We brought our dog here when every other pet shop in town was totally booked for grooming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and offered a bag to fill up with all the treats our doggy loved! Unfortunately the groomer was not available in store that day, but we quickly found out that we could wash our dog ourselves for a nominal fee! The experience was awesome and we were able to get his nails clipped by the associate. The process was smooth and fuss free. We will defintiely be back! read more

Let me start with a shout out - every single employee here is incredible. They're so friendly and very accommodating for my timid little pitty. One employee that truly stands out is Victoria. My little girl is always weary of new people and Victoria approached her slowly and got down on her level so my Marleigh could give her all her hugs. Definitely made my baby happier to be there. I take her there to do baths and the set up is awesome. They've got multiple types of shampoos that leave my girls coat looking fabulous and a dryer set up that isn't too loud for her. After her bath, we always pick out new treats in aisle 3 and a new toy! Our recent visit left my heart warm and my baby girl so excited and happy. The reason for 4 stars is just that the water is cold when bathing her and there's no way to adjust the temperature as far as I can tell. read more

I have been bringing our dogs here for grooming about 6 months now and I love Meli, the groomer, and the store is excellent. I am greeted the instant I enter the store, parking is convenient and the store is well-stocked and spotless. Meli is patient, she asks questions so she knows just how I want my shaggy/moppy cavachon to look. Our 1 year old Dalmatian/mix rescue is terrified of water, and Meli bathed and groomed her yesterday for the first time. She was patient, and she really took her time and would soothe Rowan. I am sure that with Meli's patience, Rowan will get over her fear of water very soon. I drive about 45 minutes to this location because excellent groomers are practically impossible to find, and Meli is excellent! The store has an impressive inventory of every brand of dog food imaginable, as well as toys, and things for other pets (cats, fish). If you haven't shopped here, you will want to check it out. This is a great store. My mom has had a few great experiences coming from the manager (I think her name is Claire). They are generous. Double check to see if you have coupons, and if not, they will tell you where to go online to get it. Last time I was there, they had an upcoming event that was free for Valentine's Day. When you newly bought beta fish died, they replaced it for free. It's a good, friendly store. Pet groomer in the back did a great job on our 2 little dogs. We liked her better than the last place we went, so we will continue to use them. read more

Took my dog to Pet Supplies Plus to give her a bath using their self serve facilities. I wet her down and then soaped her up. The water was ice cold for the rinse. I could not leave her alone to find someone to ask about the water so I continued to rinse hoping the water would warm up, but it did not. I rinsed as quickly as I could and then reached for the towels Only to be disappointed again. The towels were thread bare and I had to use about 20 to get it so she wasn't dripping wet. Then I reached for the dryer - another huge disappointment. The dryer barely blew out air. I dried as best I could and then went to tell the attendant about the situation. All I got was a lame "sorry" from her. We will never go back. read more

Came to look at fish. Most of them had ich and in the "clean" tanks there were nothing but dead fish and living fish with missing eyes and chunks off of them. It was really gross and I have no desire to ever buy fish from this place. Sadly, someone suggested we check it out and I am unhappy that we made the drive over for no reason. Maybe this store is okay but they should not sell fish if they are planning on having fish in that condition. read more

This is by far my now favorite pet supply store! Today was my pups and I first visit and the staff graciously and promptly helped us out with all our questions and needs. I came in to use the dog wash station because I have lower back issues and it was so simple and painless! The facility is well designed, clean and organized. After I finished with my pups bath I went to the treats section and filled the bag for treats they gave us and went to pay and they said the entire first visit was on them and thanked us for choosing their facility! The hospitality they showed us today will forever be remembered and we will be a dedicated customer for life. I have never experienced better service from any other companies like we did today! We normally pay between $35-$45 to have our dog groomed here. Sunday my daughter took her and didn't bother telling me how much it cost when she returned home. I just noticed on my credit card statement they charged $75! I called the store and spoke to grooming and the girl said oh I guess you haven't been in here in a while and I didn't think to tell you when you made the appointment that we raised our prices to what everyone else in the area charges, sorry. The first thing that should have been said/asked when I made the appointment was to tell the customer that you have almost doubled your price for the same service and I definitely would not have booked an appointment that costs that much for a dog bath! read more

I love this pet store over any other. Although it's 30+ mins from my house, it is worth it whenever I need to buy supplies or treats for my Quaker Parrot. I've brought him in a few times to have him look at the birds and interact with the staff, and he even got a free little baggie of sunflower seeds one time. I absolutely love PSP. I had no idea what store was opening in the strip mall, and usually they are short lived. Eventually when this opened, I meandered in and I am glad that I did. I love that they have a section of a la carte baked dog chews/treats that you can pick from, as well as the loose treat aisle so you can bag your own. The fact that they also provide you with a goody bag for your pup when you come in is such a godsend, because I know my little devil (I love her, but let's be real) will start eating from the aisle if I don't move quickly enough. I also wandered in at Yappy Hour one Saturday and it was adorable. They really seem to enjoy being around animals and they make an effort to make chit chat with me when I come in, and give my pup some attention as well because she is just dying for it lol. I have not had a chance to do bathing there because my dog is pretty easy to bathe at home, but next time I need her really clean (beyond the "good enough" clean I seem to get her at home) I will definitely come here and give it a try. So far, no complaints about the service or location, and I like the variety and prices of their products! read more

I've shopped here a couple of times to get supplies for my newly adopted pair of rabbits. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional, and the store is clean and well-stocked. I do wish they would stock Oxbow Simple Rewards treats (they do sell Oxbow brand timothy hay and rabbit pellets), which are based on ground timothy hay meal and therefore much healthier than other treats; most of the small-animal treats they have in stock at this time contain various things such as seeds and grains that aren't good for bunnies. That being said, this is a very good store with very competitive prices for supplies. read more

Our dogs ripped a poor, innocent skunk to death late last night. We brought them into the Pet Supplies Plus for the 1st time today to the self-wash to scrub these two goofballs, and the folks there were great. They offered each doggy a bag of treats, and the self-wash area has everything you need to clean up your pup. Shampoo, towels, dryer, it's all there, along with rubber aprons so you stay dry. We were checked on to make sure we were doing okay as well. All in all, a far more pleasant experience than me washing the dogs in the shower last night. 100% recommend! read more
