Online they say if you want an estimate to text that number and they'll give you an estimate. I texted them on a Saturday. I got a response on Sunday. I then texted them on Monday asking for an appointment on the same day or the following. I got no response. I did not realize that they are closed on Sundays/Mondays and that weekend was MLK day. Well a week later and nothing. The least they could have said was "sorry we don't have anything available until whatever date.. or I'm sorry we are closed but we'll get back to you during business hours".. Very disappointed. Well I guess they didn't want my money.. and I am not gonna beg for you to take it. I'll keep searching for a groomer.

I have two…read moredogs: an 8 year old mini schnauzer, that has been process groomed for years & a 2 year old 50 lb Bernedoodle that has been professionally groomed once. She doesn't like loud noises to include electric razors and blow dryers. I have tried to groom them myself but keeping them still is definitely not easy. Finding someone to groom a 50 lb dog is also not easy! I decided to try Ali's at home dog grooming service because it's super convenient (located here in Lorton) and she works one dog at a time, reducing the stress the dogs feel about being in a strange, loud place. I made an appointment for the big dog as a test run. I can't do her myself. It was easy to make an appointment. Drop off was convenient. Ali was super friendly and the dog was super happy. She's a good judge of character. I came back about 2 hours later to a clean and adorable and still happy dog. Brought her home and all agreed that Ali had done a great job. Loved the grooming report I received on the experience, including the attached picture s. Made the appointment for the little dog and had an even better experience. I highly recommend the Paw Wash!

For starters we have ALWAYS and PROMPTLY Zelled payment upon completion of services, and there was never an issue. For some reason with the new van, they now don't have good service / reception which is not the fault of the client. Being messaged that I have to show from my phone while I'm in my bank app that payment was sent is invasive. Even more ridiculous is being messaged that moving forward your dog won't be RELEASED from a van until they see your phone for proof, for an issue that is not even your fault. Secondly, the new receptionist has a tendency of sending snide and passive aggressive text messages. When I addressed my concerns with the owner, the justification was "because she's Korean" and I was made to seem like I just misinterpreted them. I left it alone, but even peers I shared the messages with (for unbiased feedback) shared my sentiments. The final straw was when I recently confirmed an appointment via text but had to cancel 24hrs. later due to an injury my dog sustained. (***THE CANCELLATIONS WERE DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION AND WELL IN ADVANCE OF THE APPOINTMENT***). The following appointment I also cancelled because my dog's injury still wasn't fully healed and it was cancelled within a couple hours of receiving the confirmation text. Instead, of asking how my dog is doing I get a passive aggressive text stating since I've cancelled a couple appointments they can just "go ahead and cancel my future appointments if I want". So you don't bother to inquire on one of your oldest clients well-being, but you can text a passive aggressive message like that.....What type of customer service is that?!?! Of course when I address this I essentially receive a "appointments cancelled", "good luck" and "sorry you took it personal" message. In the beginning they were more personable and geared towards providing great customer service. They have now made it abundantly clear that there is zero interest in customer service and fostering returning clients.

Jackie, the groomer was an extremely nice woman and so friendly, both over the phone and in person. Unfortunately their cuts were horrible, uneven and blotchy. My pomeranian who is normally fluffy with soft fur, was shaved down so short. Not at all like the picture given. He looks like a small lamb and I hope it grows back normally. My other dog is an English springer spaniel. While her cut was not as bad, it was still very uneven. Both dogs had no shine to their coats. To make matters even worse, I'm positive they were denied water the entire time. Both dogs came home and lapped up bowl after bowl after bowl of water. Plus, they were exhausted. Barely able to keep their eyes open on the ride home.

We took my Pomeranian-Yorkie mix here to be fully groomed including bath, blow dry, customized cut, and nails. We went here because their prices were so good, and they were so close to my house. When we got to the place we felt very comfortable because the lady was sooo nice, which is why I feel bad writing this review. We picked up our dog, and were traumatized. She was absolutely butchered, I wanted to cry. Her fur was limp, like she wasn't blow dried, and it looked dried out, like she took a bath in the salty ocean... and... I can't even find the words to describe the cut. It was terribly uneven, her neck was dramatically shorter than the rest of the body (which was not even close to being evenly cut), and then her head was just a mop of limp flopped over hair (& she's half Pomeraninan! With normally poofy hair). I would love to have a picture of proof, but we were so upset we didn't even take her home, we went straight to Petsmart in Stafford to see if there was anything they could do. After the sympathies for our dog and our experience at LCK, PETSMART miraculously fixed her cut, shined up her coat, and we left very happy. I do not believe LCK has a licensed groomer, because I am convinced it wouldn't be possible for her to have done that bad of a job. However, because the woman is so nice, I would think about bringing my dog back for nails and anal glands, which she did a great job on. But it will have to be in about a year once I'm over this trauma.
