Even though the line was relentless, the staff was friendly and efficient so all proceeded smoothly.  As the weather starts to get colder, I can see us returning more and more to try other waffle combinations.  Street parking is available out front.

The employees promptly and courteously served me, and I appreciated that several tables and chairs were available for dining in. The Cereal Thriller waffle was topped with Fruity Pebbles and vanilla-cream sauce (4.5 stars). The seasonal John Lemon waffle was topped with lemon cream drizzle and lemon sugar (4.5 stars). The waffle-of-the-month/Halloween Special had toppings of Count Chocula cereal and purple vanilla sweet cream (4 stars). The Smashed Browns were hash-brown bites (4.5 stars).

General Manager Sharon and Assistant Manager Kelsey were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to help. The owner Len was EXTREMELY responsive to my email & text inquiries (which honestly is rare these days.) As a small business owner myself, I notice and appreciate that kind of effort immediately!! This place is absolutely underrated. Plenty of seating inside & out. clean bathrooms, self-service kiosks but they also have a register if you are lazy like me. Parking can be a little challenging, but there are several nearby garages that make it manageable. 10/10 experience. So grateful we got the chance to try smashed waffles. Pittsburgh needed this spot.

His accent was heavier and harder to understand than my wife's. I'm Caucasian and was born in the US. I enjoy meeting and befriending people from around the world. However, when an immigrant such as this jerk treats my immigrant wife as somehow lower, yeah, he's going to hear it from me. The coward hid in the back but I yelled loudly that I'm a native-born American and that he has no more right to be in this country than anyone else. I tried a sample of the ice cream before his bigoted hissy fit and it wasn't bad but there's MUCH better ice cream in Pittsburgh. They have a limited selection, too. SAUSAGE & CHEESE OMELETTE + Lyonnaise potatoes (side) + whole wheat bread (toast) The sausage & cheese (we asked for Swiss instead of American) omelette itself wasn't anything worth raving about as it was pretty typical. However, the Lyonnaise potatoes were phenomenal. It's that in between "hash and mash" texture, and it was seasoned incredibly well. The potatoes were definitely the highlight here, and the omelette was good protein, I guess. Definitely forgot about the whole wheat bread. BLUEBERRY HOTCAKES Soft, crepe-like wrap (a bit thicker than crepe but thiner than pancake) wrapped around blueberries and whipped cream. This was not too sweet and quire savory.
