Hidden gem!!!!! What a treat, waitresses were so helpful and friendly and got us seated right away on a busy Saturday morning. The iced coffee was so sweet but I'm glad i tried it, could not have more than a couple sips lol. The food was HOT and fresh and plentiful! WOW.

Stop searching for breakfast!!! Get here now!! Even their "dessert" like breakfast wasn't overly sweet. We ordered the French toast sliders with sausage, French toast flight, Philly cheesesteak omelette, full order banana pudding pancakes and full order of cinnamon swirl pancakes (we're bodybuilders, don't judge) basic coffee was good too. Jasmine did an amazing job! We asked for our sliders and flights to come out first which didn't exactly happen, but she jumped on our order once she realized our stuff didn't come out as planned. Service was amazing and so friendly! It was a perfect breakfast and perfect experience! Thank you breakfast spot!

Great place to come get brunch. The service was great and the ambiance was cozy. They play music in the background. Everything was delicious. This is a great spot. I enjoyed everything

Had an amazing experience here this morning! Gia was a wonderful waitress and you'll be well taken care of! I had the Crack of Dawn with sausage, hash browns, and the waffle and it was amazing! My wife and her family had steak and eggs, the pancake flight, and the breakfast sandwich on a waffle!

This place is always busy so that is a good sign! We were seated right away though and didn't have to wait. I wanted to get the strawberry shortcake French toast. They were tasty but they definitely added way too much topping to it so it was a bit overwhelming to eat. The iced coffee is okay...they gave me the wrong flavor but I'm not big on complaining much...it was still good just overly sweet. Staff are friendly and food comes out pretty quickly. There were many birthdays the day we were there and I like the song that they used for the guest! Very live! It's still a new place so I see a lot of potential with food being prepared better!

I loved this spot. The service was superb. It's a nice restaurant with a chill vibe. The food was delicious. It came out quickly which I appreciated. Our server Trinity was great. I had the French toast flight (strawberry shortcake, cookie butter and blueberry), scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. I will definitely be back!

I was pooped and got pickled at the 10th Annual Picklesburgh, so my buddy's buddy took us here for a hearty breakfast before my nearly pulse-less body drove us back to where we came from. The Breakfast Spot's yinzer staff greeted us with no hesitation after we made our presence known in the dining area, and the ambience tickled me like what too much pickle juice does to my gag reflex - except pleasantly. I'd move to the Pittsburgh area in a heartbeat just to experience that hospitality again. The Western Omelette and home fries were fantabulous, and the Heinz Ketchup made me forget about the new name for the Stillers' home turf. I plan to be back before I pull a Kris Letang and miss most of my future pickle riding seasons due to a stroke.

This was such a cute spot for a breakfast/brunch date! My friend and I showed up around noon on a Saturday and there was only about a 10-15 min wait. There isn't much waiting room space which is a bit tough, but it's worth it! I highly suggest ordering off of their specials menu! My friend got the french toast sliders, which say bite size but they're a decent size for one person! I went with the breakfast tacos that have french toast as a shell, and I could've ate those all day! It all had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and tasted fresh. We both started out with the cinnamon swirl iced coffee that they were featuring. I was worried it was going to be overly sweet, but it was very refreshing, and the mini cinnamon roll was a nice little appetizer before the main meal! Keep in mind the space is pretty small and it doesn't seem to be air conditioned, but I don't think any of that is a deal breaker. They also have a cute little bar counter that you can eat at. Even if you don't want to eat inside, I suggest you at least order for pickup or delivery!

I absolutely love this place. The building is not very big and it's decorated beautifully. It's cozy, quaint, and cute. The staff is so friendly. The coffee was hot and fresh and so delicious. The food took a bit to come out but it was really good. I got a pancake flight and my only minor complaint was, they could have been warmer. My husband got a meat lovers omelet and it was one of the best he's had. We drove about 40 minutes to try this place, it's was worth it and we will definitely be back.

For once I finally remembered to take a photo instead of diving in face and fork first! The problem with breakfast places offering a variety of toppings usually leaves one with a crucial decision of what to get. Blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes, decisions decisions. Well The Breakfast Spot fixed that, you can get whichever flavors you want when you order the pancake or french toast flight. All of it was very delicious. I thought this place was going to be overhyped but they are the hype! That is REAL banana pudding on my French toast. The sausage patty, that is exactly what I want when I order a sausage patty, it should be SPICED. Also, while I didn't get grits, they sell grits. Barely anyone sells grits for breakfast in Pittsburgh. The music playing was lovely and upbeat but did not drown us out like some places. Also, your phone won't work in there, which is good. We should be eating, enjoying the meal, and if you come with someone(s) conversing with them. The staff, omg I believe her name is Maya. She was so nice and very attentive while also leaving us alone. All of the servers were nice and helping each other. Also when you walk in, you're greeted by the staff with this warmth. Okay so my final thoughts.... Food Staff Service Wait time OH, There is PLENTY of street parking.

There's a nearby public parking lot just up the street which is free on Sundays, and tends to have plenty of space. This restaurant is *small*, and that leads to some gnarly wait times and a packed entrance. You can pretty much expect to wait ~45 minutes to an hour. If you don't want to wait, they do seem to be on a delivery up, because I saw quite a few delivery orders piling up from the kitchen. When you are texted to come in, do make sure you get someone's attention. They can be *super* busy and sometimes the wait staff get focused on what they are doing. Despite them being pretty busy, their cooks work pretty hard and get food out pretty reasonably. All that said, I think the wait and hassle is worth it. There's a lot of diners in Pittsburgh, but tend to serve pretty similar things. Not only is the food just really good and filling, but they also have some unique and interesting menu items. I went for the french toast sliders. Really fun and tasty. Also I am the one that drenched it in syrup. Fortunately I can swim :D

Seemed like a very standard and budget friendly diner kind of place. I wanted to pick up something quick and cheap for breakfast, so I stopped by to try out their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a muffin, not really expecting much from them. Well, I was surprised by how good this was! This sandwich had everything going for it. The price was super reasonable and so was the portion. But, most importantly, it just tastes great. The bacon was perfectly crispy and salty. The muffin was fluffy and didn't overwhelm the sandwich. They include a very fair amount of egg and cheese, both cooked perfectly. So tasty, and very fluffy eggs as well. All in all, a wonderful sandwich and a very nice breakfast spot. Would like to try the sweet options next.

Pancake Flight- fruity pebble Pancakes, Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes, Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes
    Christina N.

This is a small location with a lot of heart! Please be mindful that there are no reservations, so on weekends you will probably wait about an hour. We checked in at 11 and were seated by 11:45. It took a bit for our waitress to come over, but she was literally back to back with tables. Once she came over she did apologize for the delay. I ordered the pancake flight and it was the absolute perfect way to try a little bit of everything. Most places up charge you if you want specialty pancakes and this was $10 for any 3 pancakes you want. My husband had the chicken and waffles and we shared a side of home fries. The chicken was juicy, crisp and the powdered sugar added a nice touch! The waffle was fluffy and cooked to perfection. My pancakes were cooked golden brown, the strawberry shortcake one was my absolute favorite! I would get those again for sure! I liked the Cinnamon roll one as well as the fruity pebble, it just like the cinnamon swirl was a little heavy. I do wish there was a menu or list of iced coffee or specialty drinks they offered. I only asked because I had previously seen a cookie dough latte on their IG. I had a salted caramel iced coffee, which was a little on the sweeter side, but over all good. Overall it was a great experience, the staff is attentive and amazing! We will absolutely be back!

Spicy, flavorful, hot, with a shot of flavor every time there's a banana pepper bite. The star of the meal tho was the potato salad. I had to stop into Fredo's after seeing photos from my daughter who had just spent two weeks in Bosnia. The interior of Fredo's is like stepping into a small shop you'd find in Bosnia. The yellow walls are welcoming, and cozy. There's a small variety of snacks, and beverages on one side of the shop, and a large counter where you'd place your order. There are a few tables for dining in, but I chose to take my order home. I ordered a small Cevapi and Sirnica, plus picked up some Croatian chocolate for dessert. The Cevapi were delicious skinless beef and veal sausages, that were nicely savory and well browned. A cup of chopped onions, and what I think was a yogurt sauce came with my Cevapi which added more flavor and an overall goodness to the Cevapi. A bread similar to a pita made eating Cevapi easy, and filling. The Sirnica was equally delicious. A wonderful mix of flaky, chewy phyllo pastry, and cheese baked inside the pastry. It definitely hit the spot with a nice balance of a light pastry and mild cheese. I ate the leftover half cold, and it was just as good! The lady at the counter was friendly, and patient with me. The Italian was also decent. I'm picky when it comes to hoagie rolls and this baguette was soft and fresh. I typically prefer more of a crisp exterior, but this was fine. The meat and toppings were fresh and the sandwich was served with a small bag of Lay's on the side.
