Yes, I wish they'd do a little remodeling-- the restaurant is definitely showing wear. But the food is always good! The portion sizes are large and the prices are still rather low. The atmosphere looked really cool and like a great place to relax, so we decided to sit outside. My only complaint about the outdoor area was the smell--it definitely gave us some New Orleans vibes, and not necessarily in a good way. When we went to say hello to the bartender, the first thing we were told was that we needed to order soon because the kitchen closed at 11. Then our server greeted us by going through everything they were out of, which unfortunately felt like half the menu. Our group still ordered and made the best of it, but the way the experience started definitely took away from it. I completely understand that we arrived late and they were getting ready to close, but maybe instead of starting with "here's what we don't have," it could be presented as, "Since it's late and we're getting close to closing, let me tell you what we still have available." Same situation, but a much more welcoming experience. Overall, the service was okay and the atmosphere inside looked fun. I might give it another try at a different time, but I personally wouldn't choose the outdoor seating again.

I would like to recognize an outstanding waitress (Trace) who consistently delivers exceptional…read moreservice, professionalism, and friendliness. No matter how busy the restaurant becomes, she always greets customers with a smile and makes everyone feel welcome. What makes her performance even more impressive is that she often has to work under extremely challenging conditions, including staff shortages, cooks not showing up, and being stretched far beyond what should be expected of one person. Despite these obstacles, she never lets it affect the quality of service she provides. She remains calm, organized, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring customers have a positive experience. Her work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to both her customers and coworkers are truly remarkable. Even when the restaurant is facing difficult circumstances, she always comes through and goes above and beyond. Employees like her are hard to find, and she deserves recognition for the incredible job she does every day.
