had a solid dine-in experience at the Waffle House in Richardson, TX. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese hash brown bowl, and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. It came out quickly and was cooked just right. The service was good and efficient, which made the visit smooth and easy. The restaurant itself has an older, classic Waffle House feel, which is expected and part of the experience, so there's nothing to complain about there. I would definitely recommend this location, especially if you're looking for a nice, quick breakfast that's reliable and satisfying. read more

Sat down had a nice breakfast for lunch , food was great but then they had a shift change and this cook a black dude comes in and for literally non stop complained about the previous cook. He wouldn't shut the f_ __ _ up. For twenty minutes it was about wiping down, then about the guys hygiene, then the guys work ethic. I get it the guy probably sucks but if you know about Waffle House you hear everything. Very disturbing and almost like this guy was going to commit violence. Management better talk to this guy. Customers can't enjoy their meal read more

Waffle house is always a hit or miss in terms of service but I understand. It's 2 am so I can't be mad. Menu seems to be more limited than what I remembered (before COVID) but they may have less options that early in the morning. I got the plain waffle which was just okay. It's also 4.50 without tax. A little soggy than what I like. I also had half of my boyfriend's hash brown which I actually enjoyed a lot. It has a bigger potato stripes than other places but surprising I think I enjoy that more? Service was pretty good, very sweet and attentive which surprised me. read more

Waffle House - This is my friends and our favorite workers, Uzi and G - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Plano, Texas

In the land of Frito-Lay (Plano's where Frito-Lay is headquartered) stands a branch of one of my favorite diner chains in the world: Waffle House. Well, since there aren't any Waffle Houses where I live, you can bet your bottom dollar I jumped at the opportunity to patronize one so close to the hotel where I was staying on a cross-country trip with my buddy. This standalone restaurant is also across the parking lot from one of my bank branches, so I really couldn't ask for a better location to eat! :-D Walked right in to that famous Waffle House restaurant design, got seated right away, and had my drink and a Breakfast Grits Bowl faster than greased lightning. There's something magical about scarfing down one of these epicurean testaments to Midwestern diner cuisine. It was so good I should've ordered another one! This is now my go-to Waffle House whenever I'm in the area. read more

The service was so great Uzi really helped me out. He made the best possible and I'm so thankful for Uzi.

This is the best Waffle House I've been to and I've been to many! Everything was cooked to perfection! It's clean!! The cooks worked well with each other & the wait staff was on point too!! We sat at the bar and saw the care the hash brown cook took flipping & topping the potatoes instead of hurriedly smashing & mixing! read more

Can't go wrong with Waffle House. Quick service, friendly service and the food never disappoints

Best experiences at a Waffle House, actually makes me want to keep going! Mercedes and the team were on it and everything was so clean. If you're going to do a Waffle House, this is the one! read more

It's late 2am. I'm hungry. I stop by Jack in The Box, the lights are on, but no one's home. McDonalds, same thing. A Different McDonalds, SAME THING. I'm driving toward more food and I see there are people in Waffle House and they look to be eating!?! I pull in and walk in and, heavens to Betsy, people ARE eating! I sit down and the waitress starts taking my order. Eggs? Over medium Bacon or ham? Bacon What kind of waffle? Plain waffle Grits or hashed browns? .... What's better? She looks at the cook and says, "What's the grits look like?" I turned to the cook and said, "What do you recommend?" Waitress: "Depends on what the grits look like." Cook, lifts the lid, stirs the grits once, looks over at me, "Hashed browns" in the warmest southern accent you've heard. "I appreciate that. I'll go with the hashed browns." The food was spot on. I did take it to go so it lost some of the temperature. I like my food piping hot, but that's not Waffle house's fault. If it's late night, this isn't a bad option. I'll probably come here more often now. The service was fast, food was good and taste was above average. Sometimes that's all that matters. read more

We waited for half an hour. The waitress sat another table first. Cold food. Rude service. Not worth the way we were treated... and at a WAFFLE HOUSE of all places. Watch out if Courtney with the black framed glasses is working. read more

I finally had the chance to eat tonight after my gig. So Waffle House is the answer tonight on the way home. I pulled up, I am the only person in the parking lot and Waffle House. I took a quick photo and walked in, a few of the tables needed to be cleared. Floors looked to have been swept, had wet signs out but floors were dry. The lady took my order for the All Star. Hot Fresh Coffee and ice water to start. The waffle was real good. The main plate arrived hot and fresh, like it should be, I was the only one there. So a good hot filling breakfast read more

So I know Waffle House isn't generally thought of as a five star restaurant but... In context today the restaurant was just right today. Greeted as we walked in. Walked right in to open seat with my hubby. Smelled clean and also like good food cooking. Service was quick upon sitting. It was busy but clean. Bright clean silverware and glassware. Food came out fast and fresh. Order wasn't exactly right but they asked to be sure right away and fixed it with apologies in about 90 seconds. No worries!! Everything tasted great! Nothing was overly greasy or burnt, just cooked to perfection! Great breakfast today! read more

First time at Waffle House and I have to say we were impressed. Sat at the counter and was entertained by the amazing cooks!! The service was excellent . The food was even better than I expected, bacon cooked perfectly, eggs were yum and the has browns were crispy on the outside, didn't even have to add salt! Ordered a side of biscuits and gray and it was 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back. read more

Horrible experience! After food was brought to the table for 3 people, we tried to get the waiter's attention to tell him one order was not right, we were told, "Don't talk to me like that. Do you think I care about this f...ING job?" Then we said we were leaving, and he told us to "Get the f..k outta here" All we had said was, " Where's the toast" There was no manager on site.. We left and absolutely will never patronize this restaurant again read more

Awesome Waffle House. Was everything I expected. We got great service and the prices are amazing. I thought the food would be way too much, but it wasn't. It was perfect. The serving sizes were what I like. I am not a fan of gigantic portions. I like normal size human portions, not grizzly bear portions. The food tasted delicious. This place is great. A nice slice of American coffee shops. Would definitely come here again. Didn't give 5 stars because it's not a 5-Star kind of place. But for what it is, it's awesome. read more

Waffle House - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Plano, Texas

Wife was craving waffle House. Stop by this place, as the other one was typically having staffing issues. Was looking for a change, but this place looks like they had just taken on a bunch of new stuff. A lot of training going on. Looks like one lady was running the show and helping all the others out as they were progressing. She took my order and made sure everything was good. Had a couple of hiccups in the order. My bacon was missing and my eggs had no cheese on them, but she corrected them quickly for me. My son had the typical All-Star breakfast with patty sausage cheese eggs and toast, with hash browns, and a waffle. However, when we got home, we noticed that the waffle was not plain but had pecans in it. He was not happy. He peeled all the waffle that had pecans in it out and he probably had less than 50% of his waffle. Everything else was fine. I had four cheese eggs, egg whites, with hash browns all the way with chili and no gravy and no ham. My wife had a sausage and cheese omelette, with hash browns and a biscuit instead of the toast. My daughter had a slice of ham and some hash browns. If everybody sticks around at this location, they will begin to thrive. The crowd was in full effect that morning. read more

What can I say that hasn't already been said??? It's small and kinda like a "quickie" diner w all day breakfast (lunch and dinner too; I think). We only come for breakfast... No one seats you so it's kind of take whatever is open seating. We usually get ignored for a bit if they're busy but they'll come around... Food is decent. Our family of 4 with ojs and coffees and tons of bacon usually hit about $40 or less! Great deal to us. I don't expect stellar service but you get what you pay for. Staff is hustling but they can never seem to keep up with the traffic during peak hours. Overall; we love the cheap prices and good food. Kids go nuts over blue berry pancakes and hash browns. Most tables only seat 4, and if you're lucky to find a spare chair than you can make 5. read more

Half star for a jovial staff. Every other aspect of our visit was disappointing beyond compare. One of three total tables during our visit 7:20am. Order wrong, food wrong or half-assed. Waffle House is one of those restaurants that stand still during the test of time. It had been at least 20 years since I last stepped foot in a waffle house, but nothing has changed - except for an upgrade to the jukebox to a more modern electronic version. The menu was the same and if I remember correctly, so we're the prices. Or maybe I wasn't the starving college student anymore and didn't care how much coffee and eggs cost. When my Seattle born husband mentioned that he had never been to the W House, I knew we had to go. We grabbed the kiddos to expose them as every good parents should. Yes my kids are used to finer palates, but truth be told... they loved waffle house. The staff were awesome tending to our needs and was full of yes ma'ams and other manners that would have made their mothers proud. While the floors could have been cleaned a bit more and the menus made this germaphobe nervous, we will definitely be back! It brought back some great memories from a time when sticky floors didn't matter, but all that did was a good time. read more

Have not been here since before covid shut downs. Options on menu are very limited now and prices went way up. Not worth it for the mediocre food, and rude slow service we received. But not recommend unless maybe it's four in the morning you have no other options. Will go to IHOP or Denny's in the future not settled for this. read more

Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. I ordered their hashbrown bowl and chili - absolutely delicious. I have been to this place so many times but today I got the worst waitress! She got me the wrong drink and when I preceded to let her know she asked me if I was ok....Like wtf! then she ignore me and never brought my coffee while asking other tables if the would like more coffee. We just left. To bad I didn't catch this rudea&& girls name but I'll make sure I don't go to this location again read more

I've been here 3 times and that was 3 times too many. The wait staff is is rude. They literally will stare you down from the door to your table but yet it takes them 15 minutes to acknowledge you. I don't know if the waffle machine is broken, they have a certain amount of waffle mix to use or they're testing out waffles cookies because my waffle was flat, hard and crunchy..like tf? AVOID THIS WAFFLE HOUSE. read more

Honestly, worst service ever. Sat at counter for 20 minutes without ever being acknowledged.

Let me make this clear. The ONLY reason I am giving this place 5 stars is for the complete AMAZING service Linda provided my family this morning. My husband and two sons ages 12 and three went this morning after church to enjoy our meals at waffle house. Linda was so kind very attentive and such a joy to work with. But, there was a woman by the name of Destiny, which I only know her name because how many people kept telling her to knock it off. She was very combative with other employees as well as customers when they requested things like coffee and she would shoot them off telling them that she had to help someone else first in a rude way. Destiny along with another woman wearing a mumu of some sorts which I am assuming it's because of Halloween were both extremely rude to Linda, to the point where my 12 year old son and I both left in tears. Both of these women were making sure that Linda's orders would get called out after their's even if Linda was there first which made anyone she was serving get their orders late. Destiny was making comments like "shut the fu** up" and "get the he** over it" on multiple occasions. I refuse to ever be helped by either of them from here on out. I will say there is a nice cook with a dreads pony tail and he is always super kind and attentive and a woman named antionette as well who we enjoy. But destiny and that other woman are a complete disgrace to customer service and should be dealt with accordingly. I have already contacted corporate and will continue to support the good working customer service individuals at this Waffle House. read more

I know they're short staffed but we didn't even get a greeting walking in here. We seated ourselves and literally sat there 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff. We have a one and a half year old child they said they could not put his drink in a cup with a lid unless they charged us for it??? Seriously. Worst staff and Waffle House I've ever been to will not be back our normal WH was slammed so we thought we would try this one. Bad choice read more

After finding ourselves at a taco spot nearby that was closed for the day, we figured to eat at Waffle House across the street. We always ate Waffle House in the wee hours of the morning, and this was our first time having it around 11 AM on a Sunday. It was a packed house for sure but we were able to get two seats at the counter in 10 minutes. Like most Waffle Houses, this restaurant is outdated but classic. I've always encountered nice staff who act like family in my past WH experiences and here is no different. I got my usual All Star special with waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, has browns, and toast. My husband went all out with the pork chops, the chopped and smothered hash browns, and a pecan waffle. My meal was very good. My husband mentioned the pork chops were standard. I had a taste of his hash browns and pecan waffle and I got jealous. I will get those items again next time. As always, the prices are very reasonable, and you get so much food! Overall, this is another solid WH in our books. Looking forward to coming here again. Thanks! read more

Our waitress needed to be in a rest home. She was not able to keep up with what was given to her. The wait time from ordering to her actually giving it to the cook was unacceptable. She also seemed like she had no experience. When given our bill, she had to get 2 calculators to figure out the bill. She also stood over us to make sure she got a tip. That is unacceptable!!!! I will never again!!!! read more

I'm giving it 4 starts because it's waffle house. Don't expect the greatest. Last night, I decided to give the Spring Creek location a break (after waiting to be seated & no greeting at all) and I'm glad I did. This was the "cleanest" (its waffle house), quietest, friendliest waffle house I have been in. I was highly impressed. The ladies there got to business & know what they are doing. My food was received extremely fast and cooked thoroughly & my waiter was the sweetest. I'm definitely coming to this waffle house here on out. highly recommend. read more

This location is terrible. First of all I'm very visibly pregnant I received undercooked eggs that also had a hair in it. My choices were to remake it or have it taken off at that point I didn't want to eat. Surprisingly I was still charged for a drink and left to stare at my boyfriend as he ate. His hash browns were cold and waffle was cold and undercooked. We were one of three tables at the time. The servers were shouting about tip amounts back and fourth to each other and they antagonistically asked us if we had a good time to which we replied no and they said oh well you got a discount.... Let me end this with my boyfriend and I frequent other Waffle House location ALL the time it's a favorite of ours and this location is by far the worst. read more

Always good. My husband and I used to come here every weekend. We got busy with life and everything else and hadn't been here for a couple of years. Stopped in today to the same great atmosphere, nice people, quick service and the food was excellent. We like to set at the bar to watch them work. I was a waitress for 10 years back in my early days and they have a unique way all their own for remembering the orders. Another one of America's classics places to eat. I ordered Hashbrowns crispy on both sides smothered which means it has chopped onions, a couple eggs over medium, bacon floppy, and raisin toast. Yummy!! Cooked just the way I like it. read more

I can eat breakfast during lunch or dinner time and at the top of my most frequented breakfast spots is waffle house. It's just something about their food that makes it seem home cooked, I see them cracking eggs scrambeling and frying them, opposed to boxed eggs which are just wrong amd never come out tasting like fresh eggs so maybe it's the fact that they use all natural foods and ingredients whatever the case im hooked amd I take all my friends wjth me when I'm in the mood. This location,is actually a lot cleaner then other locations I've visited in the past which will remain nameless but if you havent already which im sure you have you must eat at waffle house at least once if not just for the experience. read more
