My second Waffle House experience ever, and it was pretty close to the first. I have discovered all Waffle Houses are kind of small but they run a tight ship, and it's turn and burn during the busy hours. We hit it at an off time, and they actually were cleaning their burners, and apologized for a little wait that really didn't seem like much of a wait at all. Service was great. The waitress was very nice, lots of smiles, and kept my honey's coffee full. I found the restaurant to be quite cold inside, and found that same climate in the other one I went to. I guess they must need it with all the hustle, but bring a jacket/sweater. I got my usual, the waffle. They bring a bottle of syrup to the table, which is great, so you can completely immerse your waffle in as much syrup as you want. This time, the waffle was a little crispier than I would have liked. The taste wasn't quite as good as the last time, but the syrup had that nice maple taste to it, although it's not true maple syrup. They do offer other things in addition to waffles, such as eggs, toast, hashbrowns, country ham...typical breakfast fare. Prices are good, waffles are hot, service is good and quick. Not a bad place to hit up for a fast breakfast. Sure it won't be my last time here. read more

This was possibly the worst experience at Waffle House. Keep driving passed this place, seriously. We visited this place on Friday am at 9:30 July 12. Waitress had to wipe up a place for us at the bar - and it wasn't busy. Then after sitting there for 10 minutes, We had to ask the waitress, Gina to take our order. The cook was great and the food was as expected. However the server, Gina, was absolutely aweful. I ordered dry toast, which was completely ignored. I have never experienced such bad customer service in life until visiting the Waffle House on Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross, Georgia. I am sure upper management has their hands full dealing with poor staff that do not want to work. Cooks were arguing with dish washers, and waitresses were arguing amongst each other, it was a complete mess! Staff did not want to seat customers. They did not want to serve or acknowledge waiting customers. I along with 3 other groups of hungry waiting customers walked out after witnessing such poor service. Attention to detail is everything, especially when dealing with foods that can get people sick. First time here, ordered the usual all star and the only two things that were off, the bacon and the eggs. The two biggest sources of protein for most breakfast meal. I say this bc protein source is the biggest cost to seller/consumer, so if it's bad, compared to having bad toast, it will cause for a worse experience. Bacon was burnt but the waitress noticed after the line cook put it on the plate. asked if I needed another. Bacon was cooked a little better the second time but still a little dark. Second, the eggs, tasted ok until I bit into an egg shell. Because it was relatively small I didn't mind and kept eating. Halfway though, I found a much larger piece that I had actually bit into and started to swallow. (Doesn't matter as much but the grits were a bit dry, chunky and you could tell the were pulling from the bottom of low pot. ) Asking for the check I informed both the waitress and manager about these issues. The rectification was to comp the eggs. I told them no, I wanted to pay in full, and I tipped $3. Which comes to the reason I'm making this review. Employees need to feel like their job is important for them to do their best, pay, time off and team environment, and work ethic affect the quality of everything. You can't blame an employee for all of the problems a restaurant has. It's on management and ownership to ensure success whatever it takes. Push your people to new heights, invest in your people even if they don't invest in themselves. I'll prob come back. But good luck to whoever reads this. read more

On top of that, another team member asked him to watch it and he responded that she should watch her mouth all the time too, of course with more explicit language. Why is this Waffle House still open?! It's only a mile from my condo but it's terrible! The first time I went they completely messed up my order! I ordered the all star breakfast with smothered & covered hash browns, but somehow I ended up with only plain hash browns & a waffle. The second time I called to order a take out but the lady that answered the phone said, 'I'm here by myself so no take outs at this time'. A few mins later I drove past & there were 5 workers in there with only 2-3 cars in the lot. This is a decent Waffle House. The food is exactly what I expect from WH: hot and fast. And service has always been adequate. The usual WH rule applies: you're gonna have to wait if you want breakfast on a weekend morning, especially on Sundays. Their busiest time of the week is post-church time on Sunday morning/early afternoon. The only thing I don't like about this particular location is not their fault. I have been to this location about twenty or so times over the course of three years. I will go ahead and tell you that 90%b of the reason it gets 5 full stars is because of Shamika. She should be the damn manager. She remembers ALL of her customers after only a few interactions, she's always smiling under pressure and stress (which, believe me, there's plenty of), she's super quick, and best of all, she NEVER forgets the tables she's waiting on, unlike other servers. She even dabbles in the cooking when they're too far behind, while she's also answering calls! Seriously, why is she not at least an assistant manager? We come to this Waffle House often. Sometimes it can be loud an chaotic. There is one young woman who stands out to me, her name tag says "Nesha" but the manager called her "Danetra" I think. Anyways she works the to go orders. She always does a great job handling the phones and the counter customers. She's fast and my orders are correct. The guy who was making my waffle made a waffle that was not up to her standards, she asked him to make her another one bc it was too dark. He refused to make it over, she showed it to me I really didn't want to hassle them so I said it was fine. I thought it was little on the dark side and sloppily made. Since he wouldn't make it over she had to do it herself while answering the phones and covering the counter. My hat goes off to her. I love WH but this location represents the Franchise in one of the most worst ways possible. When I first walked in, there were about 3 tables that needed to be cleaned which caused me to wait 10 minutes until someone realized it. Okay...so I'll admit it...I'm a Waffle House addict; but there are good Waffle Houses and bad Waffle Houses. This location is a HORRIBLE Waffle House. The food was not bad at all but the servers are SO loud and obnoxious as to completely ruin the meal. At one point the manager came over to several servers that were gathered behind our booth and asked them to "work with me" and quiet down; they did - maybe the manager heard us complaining to each other that the servers were so loud we could barely hear each other talk. read more

Never a bad experience when I visit this location. The place is always clean, customer service is great, and service is swift. My order is always correct (which in my experiences with Waffle House is always hit or miss). Shemika (I think that's her name) practically runs this place! She's usually my server. The worst location in the city of atlanta! I have been in atlanta for 10 years and recently moved to the Peachtree Corners area and have had nothing but the worst experiences. This location never answer phone calls , understaffed , and does not know professionalism even if it was their born nationality! Me and my friend called last night to pick up a order and no one ever answered a call (mind you i literally live around the corner.). Drive up and there is literally two cars in the parking lot and apparently the staff was more concerned about talking about the bad tables they had that night than serving guests and answering phones . Mind you i felt bad because of the sappy stories they were telling from that night and tipped over half my bill. I was acknowledged by the server of the good tip. Tonight same thing happened they never answered a phone call and get to the restaurant and they tell us our grill is down for. 30-45 minutes for them to clean the grill. It's a full house and prime time hours and their grill is shut down. I absolutely hate this location and wish i could pick up any near by locations and move them here. I drove down peachtree industrial to the location by home depot and absolutely love their customer service , food, and professionalism. Apparently if you are not a regular customer at this location one server in particular will pawn you off to another server. Never seen anything like that before. I walked in and was not acknowledged for at least 4 minutes, even though several of the employees made eye contact with me. Once I was seated, the server said she would be right with me. Next thing you know, two separate customers walk in and she takes their drink and food orders before even coming to introduce herself to me. She finally comes and asks what I want to drink?. I gave her my drink preference. Next thing you know another server comes to my table and says she wanted to take care of the other two customer instead so now he would be taking care of me.
