#5 Bacon & Cheese Whataburger Whatameal
Jack L.

I was excited to try the new Whataburger and know they just opened, so I'm willing to be patient. The experience was just okay, but definitely underwhelming for the price. The good part: the onion rings were great. They were crispy, flavorful, and not oily at all. However, the main event, the bacon cheeseburger, was a letdown. While I appreciate that it wasn't greasy, it was disappointingly dry and lukewarm. My iced tea was also very weak. It took about 15 minutes to get my food for a dine-in order, which seems a bit long. My #5 Bacon and Cheese Whataburger meal came in at $12.60. I'll give them a few months to get settled before I consider trying again.

The visit actually started out fairly well. When I walked in, the restaurant was not busy at all--there were only one or two people in line--so I opted to use the self-checkout kiosk. The kiosk itself was quick and easy to navigate for the most part; however, it immediately presented an issue. It required you to select a numbered cone to match your order, but there were no cones available to choose from. Since there was no clear instruction on what to do in that situation, I selected a random number and later had to explain the issue to the associate at the front counter. I placed a simple order: one burger, a half-and-half side of onion rings and French fries, and a milkshake. With such a small order and very few customers inside, I did not expect a long wait. Unfortunately, the wait time ended up being well over 30 minutes, which was surprising and disappointing given how quiet the restaurant was at the time. When the food finally arrived, the order was incorrect. Instead of receiving half onion rings and half fries, I was given only onion rings. Additionally, the burger bun was extremely hard, which further detracted from the meal. At that point, the experience had become frustrating. If this location hadn't been one of the only places open at the time, I likely would have left and gone elsewhere. I also overheard other customers inside expressing similar complaints about long wait times and incorrect orders, which suggests this may be an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. That said, I do want to give credit where it is due: the associate at the front counter was very polite, professional, and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a disconnect between what the front counter was communicating and what the kitchen was executing, which ultimately impacted the overall experience. On a positive note, the restaurant itself was clean, including the dining area and restrooms, which is always appreciated. Cleanliness was clearly not the problem here. Would I try this place again? Possibly--but not anytime soon. Based on this experience, I would not recommend visiting during the middle of the day when there are plenty of other dining options available. If you do decide to go, it may be best to visit during a very slow time or be prepared for potential delays and order inaccuracies. As of now, given the service issues encountered, I cannot confidently recommend this location.

I tried this new whataburger today for lunch. A new store that's got that new whataburger smell and very enthusiastic young servers. These servers were very courteous and took my order without any communication barriers. The grilled chicken is very good but get it with light mayo.Next, the onion rings are great! They ce out hot and fresh. In my humble opinion, a lot better than burger king's " frozen" cooked ones. They are not as greasy as the Varsity or Martin's but nonetheless taste just as good. I think this location will do good as it is on a highly traveled road. As of this typing, this whataburger is recommended.

New restaurant located at Duluth, great burger restaurant, my first visit in Georgia, american style ambience, nice music inside, parking lot is huge, restrooms were new and clean, food was great, we ordered a double beff burger with American cheese and bacon, fries were tasty, definitely i will be back, restaurant hours are extended than usual fast food places. Friendly and fast service in this location.

A super hero eating delicious French fries.

We were staying at the Sonesta across the street for Conjuration and couldn't resist hitting up Whataburger multiple times during our awesome four-day trip! Every single item we ordered was spot-on and absolutely mouthwatering. This place is a must-visit for anyone hungry for fantastic food--we can't recommend it enough!

Cheeseburger and fries. Delicious.!

Coretta was always so kind and cheerful, even during busy times. Her calm and friendly nature never waned.

Sauce Wing - Love the sauces here!

We came for iftar and left very happy I got the loaded fries and 6 pc boneless wings with hot honey. My husband and SIL were also very happy with their wings! Although there is pretty limited seating here, we were able to snag table and dine in! Our food came out a lot faster than we expected (very different than our last experience) and was delicious. Hope to be back

Superbly tasty in your mouth! I thoroughly enjoyed the food. And if I have a wowing moment then 5…read morestars it is. I also didn't know this place was halal. The Philly cheesesteak was flavorful but not overly salty. Though a sizable sandwich, it's at a perfect price point for its size. For my small appetite, it was the right amount of meat. The usual peppers and onions were perfectly caramelized and blended so well with the meat. The secret sauce on the side was nice to have an extra layer if I wanted it. The double burger fries was a wowing moment in your mouth. These crinkle fries were crispy. Though they could have been crispier, it was a nice compromise to how soggy crinkle fries can be. The meat was flavorful. The drizzle of sauce gave it a nice little kick of flavor. The pickles was a delightful sourness that puts a cherry on top. And the chives, well, just added nice colors. Because a chive garnishment is pretty but doesn't have a profound flavor.

We had absolutely no business ending up at Nando's... and yet here we are…read more The original plan? Matcha. Light. Peaceful. Maybe even a little classy. What actually happened? Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.

This was my first time. Half of the group had been here before. First of all I like the set up. The decor is top tier. I liked the fact that you order at a counter or code on the phone. No waiting for a server. Everything is paid for up front. You still get the feel of a sit down restaurant. They bring your food to the table. The dinnerware is heavy and colorful. Very festive. I ordered 1/4 Chicken Breast in Manho Lime flavor and Brussels Sprouts. We also had Chicken Thighs, Chicken Wings, Portuguese Rice Fries, Cauliflower, Sweet Potatoes and Garlic Bread on the table as well. The flavors absolutely bloom in your mouth as all of their meat was marinated. There was not one dish that I didn't enjoy. I will most definitely return.
