The staff was very accommodating to our big party (over a dozen) while under-staffed, joking with us about it too. A great location, very unlike the stereotypes I heard about Waffle Houses before I ever went to one. Definitely recommend this location. All-Star Special - 7/10 Nice buttery toast, works well with the eggs and sausage. A little lackluster as compared with everything else, but the waffle makes it definitely worth it. Waffles - 8/10 Really sweet flavor, almost like birthday cake vanilla. It was quickly made and perfectly fluffy. Wonderful for the price. Best waffle I have ever had. Hash browns - 6.5/10 Nice and crispy, saltiness is perfect. Nice classic for sure. Ketchup pairs well. Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bowl - 9/10 Nice pillowy bits of hash brown w/ melted cheese that contrast well with the crispy hash brown bits. The egg and cheese work very well to give a great pillowy mouthfeel. Seasoned perfectly.

It's the middle of the night. You want hot, fresh, buttery waffles. Or a grilled cheese on buttered Texas toast. Or a steak sandwich on that same amazing Texas toast. Or Steak and Eggs. Or.... Hashbrowns! DUH! Covered. Smothered. Diced. Chunked. A jillion combinations of potaotey goodness. It's a Waffle House! It's an ICON. And for that, it deserves an iconic tribute. The Waffle House: A Haiku. It is One A.M. You have been drinking a lot. GO GET THOSE HASH BROWNS!

So Jenny, the 83 yr old hostess, keeps up the rep that Jenny's all over the world, their leader I'm quite certain being Jenny L., are the business. The baddest mothers around. She was friendly, and funny, and dancing, and joking, and zinging us with one liners. And anyone who points out me and my lover are twitterpated wins the big stuffed animal prize with me. Plus, she gave us cute little crocheted reindeer that give you a Hershey's kiss when you squeeze their cheeks. At this point I'm wanting to put her in the trunk and take her home with me. The waffles are suprimo, the hashbrowns with onions were yummly! The wheat toast could use some work but then again I'm a wheat toast snob and disregarding that we both had heartburn for a good rest of the day... this is still our new Central perk. Forrest said it best "But I love you Jen-aaaaaay"

Yes it is greasy. Yes it is now $7 instead of $5 for an All-Star breakfast, but still my favorite place to get breakfast anytime of day. You can see them cook your food. This was one of the last chains to accept credit cards, along with another favorite of mine ChickFilA. They are open 365 days a year so even on Thanksgiving or Christmas you can get your WH fix. *** any other time it would be 5 stars. Today I think the grillman is new because the ladies had to repeat the orders way too much. He burned my hubby & I's first waffles and then we had to wait an eternity (almost finished with our food) to get the new waffles. Again, great food and great service, everyone has an off day. Food was still great even if I had to wait for the waffle!

Let's be honest...you don't COME here for 5 star food! You come here for the old school diner, greasy spoon experience and this place delivers. This really should be a 3 star review, probably, except I know exactly what to expect from the Waffle House and they deliver consistently. It's an iconic highway diner experience and everybody needs to stop in at least once in their lives and get some loaded up hash browns and a pecan waffle. Maybe I'm biased but I love the quaint diner experience!

    Loaded hash browns! AWESOME!

A bit dry as well. Unfortunately none of the entrees was as hot as they should have been. Burrata was excellent and thanks for having Oysters. The wine selection was very disappointing. Not even a dozen wines. No one enjoyed the Tuscan Sella Antica we ordered. Two wines from Paso Robles which is odd given how small the list is. Service was excellent. (Female, dark hair, short).

A place for lunch, date night, and everything in between. Their seasonal drink menu was a hit! Muddled blueberry mojito, yes please - I enjoyed the non alcoholic spritzer. They have a bar separate from the dining area which offered its own cozy atmosphere. We saw the comfy booths and opted for the dining area since we were there to catch up and "be there awhile." The dining area was tidy and the tables (and booths!) were set with crisp, white tablecloths..... ours caught all my truffle fries crumbles, toppings that had a chance to escape, sorry Lucy! Food was delightful and exactly what we were ordered & were hoping for: den burger, well done; calamari and a side salad; fish and chips. We'll be back!

When we first came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3, the place was totally empty. Despite that,…read morethey said we could only sit at the bar or on the rooftop. I was a little irritated, as it was slightly breezy, but I got over that quick once I tried the food. We had the steak frites, the Thai pork tacos, an old fashioned, and the chocolate decadence for dessert. The steak frites were great- the truffle fries were seasoned with garlic, and served with a great cream sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. Super tender. But the tacos absolutely stole the show. Sweet and spicy with a touch of crunch, and the potato fries were stellar too! The old fashioned really let the whiskey shine, with just a touch of citrus. I think I would try a different dessert though- the decadence was good but didn't quite live up to the tacos. The interior was decorated very cute- mid century modern mixed with plants and some neon signs that said cute things. Our server was excellent- very friendly and on top of it. Overall, I would unquestionably come back next time I am in the area, and suggest you go there too. It's totally worth it.

I'm sure one of the crackheads walking and down main street would have given me better service. And 4 bucks to upgrade to fries!?!? What is going on at this place? Highly recommend do not come here. It's a rip off. Service is awful. Terrible attitude. No service, no tip.
