Stopped by Deli Zone on way home for a couple sandwiches. Ordered the large Philly and the medium Turkey Club and both were full of flavor. Both are large enough for leftovers. The turkey club has a good ratio of meat to veggies. The Philly could use more cheese but I guess you could always ask for extra. There were two employees behind the counter helping customers and doing it in a timely manner as all the hot sandwiches are made fresh on the griddle you can see. Satisfying sandwich! read more

Says they close in 27 minutes. I went in ordered a sandwich and a drink. I sit down after they hand it to me and then the other guy rudely tells me they're closing at 2:30. (The door clearly says that they close at 3:00pm) Lists all hours. If you post your hours on the door, how about following it so your customers know what's happening. First off the guy who worked there was there by himself and it was a full house. He took our order and made our food. It was my coworkers and I first time there and we were on a lunch break. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, my sandwich was dry and the eggs were overcooked to the point of being inedible. They didn't have WiFi either, which is odd for a breakfast place. My biggest concern was a loud conversation between a customer and the girl behind the counter about a mouse problem they'd been dealing with. Yes to breakfast sandwiches! I came here twice for the baby Kona and loved it both times! I always order ahead of time and pick up. Usually about 20-25 mins after my call it's ready. Delizone has a lot of positives going for it, friendly staff, fresh local baked bread, meat sliced fresh daily onsite and fresh vegetables. It all adds up to one of the freshest Deli east of the Rocky Mountains, the portions are large and seasoned correctly. I ordered the Ham and cheese grilled, a hint of horseradish in my sandwich perked my taste buds. My granddaughter had a meaty meatball and cheese sandwich, my wife had a ungrilled grilled cheese sandwich, she had to send it back to be grilled. No doubt they make great sandwiches however correct making of the sandwich is sometimes required. Another thing is the conditions of the restrooms , if your wanting a 4 or 5 star rating it needs to include a clean establishment. The sandwich here is delicious with fresh bake breads. We came at the time when nobody there so the service was pretty fast. The hot sandwich with the thin bread really satisfied me. The ventilation system isn't strong enough to suck all the cooking smell out which makes the shop full smell of food. The server was friendly though. read more

I have only been to Deli Zone for breakfast, but the breakfast sandwiches I've gotten have been dee-licious. I've gotten the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich and then the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese. The sausage was particularly memorable, and I'm craving one right now. Each of these were pretty cheap, maybe 4 bucks a pop, but their larger and more elaborate sandwiches get a little pricier, although not unreasonable. I became so hooked on Snarf's that I would have never dreamed of straying, but now that I know Deli Zone's breakfast sandwiches are so good, I'll have to go back for a lunchtime sub. The atmosphere might be the biggest drawback for me. It is a pretty new building, and it is completely sterile. Sort of like a Chipotle's. Slick, but not at all warm or welcoming. But there's always plenty of seating and we haven't had to wait too long for our food. Apparently they now have bands play on weekend nights and serve beer. Deli Zone is your typical Sub Sandwich place that tries to mimic NYC deli places as closely as possible. The little-known fact about Deli Zone is that they have GREAT breakfast stuff! If you're an ex-New Yorker or miss the morning egg, ham and American cheese on a kaiser roll breakfast sandwich, Deli Zone is the place to go! Also, they have a breakfast burrito that can't be beat (ask for Frank's hot-sauce on it too). The Breakfast burrito isn't on the menu - it's advertised on the wall in the men's bathroom (of all places). Weird, I know, but hey that huge breakfast burrito is something that is worth taking the time out of my busy day and writing about on Yelp. :) read more

I ordered the F-train and all I can say was this sandwich was anorexic and slightly edible at best. All I kept thinking was F-this place. The bread was soaked with hot sauce so much that I though they had goofed and gave me a buffalo chicken sandwich until I was able to come across and Identify some of the meat they were calling steak. What a mess, it was so bad we tossed half of the 14'' sandwich. I dont think I will ever revisit the Longmont location due to the very poor quality of food & service. I will however give their Boulder or Lafayette locations a try again when I'm up that way, they have always been solid as far as quality. But then again who knows in this economy what this chain is trying to pull. read more

Just finished the best Philly Cheese Steak that I've had in 30 years! I've been all over the Denver area for years trying to find a good Cheese Steak made the way they make it in Philadelphia. I was very skeptical about giving the Deli Zone a try. I figured that it couldn't be any worse then Chili's. Wow, what a surprise! Finally, a great Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It's made correctly with (sliced) thin steak, onions, wee bit of bell pepper with the cheese cooked with the steak and very importantly on the right kind of bread. IF I COULD PUT LESS THAN 1 STAR. I totally would. We got there and put in our order with two drinks & there was no ice in the machine. They told us they would refill it. We sat down to wait for our order & the ice. I went up 3 times to ask about the ice and they told me "Yes we will one second". We ended up eating our sandwiches with STILL no ice & no drinks. We finished our meal and went up to get a refund and the girl was super rude about it. "Dude I'll get you ice right now". No, we finished our meal already so we asked for a refund instead and she got on the phone and just gave us $3. INSANELY RUDE. I had never heard of this place before so one day, when I was passing by, I decided to try it out. I wasn't familiar with their New York themed menu so I decided to try their F-Train, one of their steak subs as recommended by someone else in line. First of all, this sandwich was huge! Just the bread itself was bigger than any of Subway's sandwiches. Not only that, but the amount of meat and veggies piled on there was incredible! The sandwich was cooked very thoroughly and with a little bit of Frank's Hot Sauce, it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere there is very relaxed too. It seems like they always keep the tv on sports center and the place is thoroughly clean. When I visited, there were 2 other families there eating together and they seems very happy and comfortable. The sandwiches do take a little bit of time to make, so if you're expecting to get it in the same time subway would make a sandwich, this isn't quite the place for you. However, there is no doubt in the mind that it's worth the wait for these amazing subs! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new place to go during lunch or even just looking for a quality place to go out to eat with family or a couple of friends. Although It was my first time at this location, I used to live around the corner from the Valmont location where I fell in love with their amazing Baby Kong breakfast sandwich. It's a cheesy hash brown, sausage and fried egg piece of heaven. Great for hangover mornings but you'll need to run miles afterwards to burn it all off! This time I came in here for a quick sub for lunch. Menu options all look tasty - lots of hot sandwiches. We settled on a large Giuliani which is a reliable Italian sandwich with roasted peppers, banana peppers and good amount of lettuce topped w vinegar and oil. The wait here is longer than other sub shops (maybe 5 or 10 minutes from when you order) but it's definitely worth it. read more

They have concerts on occasion, they have a stage in the back. The breakfast are defiantly some of the best and their lunch sandwiches are great. They have a lot more variety than just cold cuts and the staff was really friendly. The smalls are only 4" but it was enough for lunch if you add a meal. read more

I love Deli Zone sandwiches. Seriously delicious. HOWEVER, the Longmont location is the filthiest, grubbiest restaurant I have ever eaten at. I've seen cleaner street food vendors in South America. Every surface is covered in dust and grime. The women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been truly cleaned in a month -- stuff was growing in the toilet bowl. The back splash of the fountain drink dispenser was covered in dried gooey old pop and the trash cans haven't been so much as wiped off since the place opened. This is one of the better places to get a relatively authentic NY style sub. They started out as an independent shop and recently started franchising. I've eaten only at the Longmont, Boulder, and broomfield locations, and all were great. If any sub shop should expand, I say it should be this one, as it's really hard to find a good NY style sub around. Heidi's claims to be the Brooklyn deli around this area, and while they're also a good place to eat, they aren't as authentic as Deli Zone in my opinion. read more
