This is one of those really great local spots I bring any out of town friends to. The famous Italian is top notch and honestly still one of the best deals around in terms of bang for your buck. Quality has always been so good and prices are great considering. read more

Your Butcher, Frank - Beef tenderloin with Chef Matthew @ https://privatechef-events.com/ - Meat Shops Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

First, I wish they had seating somewhere, but just the same, our first experience with this butcher/deli was very good. My husband has lived in Longmont for two decades, and I've been here for 5 years, but neither of us had ever gone into the store. Since we were already in the shopping center to try a new place yesterday, we went to Frank's afterwards. Bottom line, we've finally found our favorite deli in the area. If it wasn't snowing today, we'd go back for a sandwich. Since we weren't immediately hungry, we instead looked over the meat selection and then zeroed in on the deli counter. I purchased just a few sample items. A bagel (they say it's a NY bagel, and it does have the right texture! Just wish they had whole wheat); whitefish salad (better than any others I've encountered in the area); cole slaw (perfectly blended - not too watery, not too dry); and a canoli, which was flaky and sweet. The deli items have an East Coast feel like no other in the area that I've encountered. Better than anything I found in Lakewood, where I lived before. And, since we just got back from a visit to my Dad in Florida, this was a welcome sight! The soup they had as a special, as well as the sandwich special descriptions sounded yummy, so we will go back, maybe this weekend. The meats also look good, so we will likely try some in the weeks to come. Again, I wish they could somehow create a place, even outside, where we could sit to eat. We could then eat right away instead of having to go home first. But even with that inconvenience, we look forward to more encounters. The young man who helped us doesn't know much yet about the choices, but I'm sure if he stays there, he'll learn. He was pleasant and helpful, asking another employee when he didn't know an answer. It's already busy there, but yes, I recommend going and waiting to try their goods! It's worth the wait. read more

Just love every cut that we get from Frank's! The team is amazing. It's the only place that I could get quality meat to make a Kibbeh nayyeh . Patrick you rock! read more

The sandwiches in this place are in another level. The portions you get for the price are amazing. They also have a very good selection of high quality meats and other food items. The staff is very quick to ask you if you need help and they do a really good job. It is a small space but they have done a good job with making it flow nicely. read more

I went to pick up a sandwich I ordered. It was busy, but no one helped me. They need a take a number system. People don't get helped and like me, they leave, and I'm not coming back. Hire some women maybe. Too many rude dudes Frank. read more

Great Italian sandwich. Meat behind counter looked wonderful. People very friendly. When in Longmont I'll go back.

Great service, friendly people! They were quite busy and are well staffed so plenty of workers to match the patrons in need of service. After visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, I did a quick peruse and decided to try this place with my partner. We ordered sandwiches and the ingredients are very fresh, the bread is soft and prices are extremely reasonable ! The prices are half of the price of what any major city would charge for. Definitely a must to stop by when you're in the area. read more

The best meat in town. I won't buy meat in the supermarkets. Great call in service or just walk in. Friendly help with any questions. Always a great Thank You when leaving the store. It's nice to be appreciated. Cindy read more

Called around to quite a few butchers in the area, this was the only one I found that had chicken liver! Which apparently is essential for my dogs homemade treats. Geez doggo. Anyway, I'm so glad they carry it - and they have deli subs too! Lovely store - will definitely be back read more

Easily one of the best if not, the best sandwich I have ever had we were traveling through and we're looking for a quick sandwich, but this was beyond good. It did not disappoint. I will definitely be going back. The service was great. I was able to call it in before we got there and they had the order perfect for 4 sandwiches. This is a deli and meat market like back in the old days where you could actually get real service behind the meat counter. You can also get other options of meat and specialty items. read more

Good sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Friendly and accommodating staff. Interesting place to visit.

Best quality meat in Longmont! We order one of package meat deals monthly to save money.

the last three times . I ordered sandwiches. they got my order wrong. Every time. I ask if a pickle comes with the sandwich. they say it dose. and no pickle. they ask what do I want on my sandwich. I say everything but NO , olives. every time I get olives. after specifically asking go none. and none of the rest of the topping I asked for. I say I want extra mayo. and very little mayo. It's like they don't listen. or don't care. Ever time I go in I tip them. Sorry. No more tip. and no more business. there are better sandwiches anywhere In town! read more

Kudos to whomever made the 5 Italians on wheat today. Totally crushed it, killer sandwiches. Perfect timing too, cause 4 of those were surprise lunch for Farmers Market friends. They loved them, great showing today. Thank you! read more

They've been so good, but this time, without explanation, would only sell me 1 and 1/2 lbs of tri tip. They didn't tell me until after they cut it. It was disappointing. read more

The service is great. The sandwich was even better. so when you're in Longmont, make sure you go by there it's worth a trip.

I've been coming here pretty much my entire life. It's very nostalgic and things don't change which is just fine with me for this particular business. The signage is reminiscent of the 1950s and they have all kinds of fresh meat. They even make the shape of a pig face in their Italian sausage. Christmas time they partner with Longmont dairy to have the best and most delicious eggnog in the tri-state area. There is no possible way to get a glass bottle of this quality of eggnog anywhere else unless you have it delivered to your home. read more

The sandwiches are the best I've ever had and at a great price! The butcher has great packaged deals. I wish I lived here. This would be my regular butcher/ sandwich shop. Also, a nice mini market with milk and condiments, etc. read more

Found this place with my Yelp app, after another close by "Cajun breakfast/lunch" establishment totally let us down. This place was awesome, super friendly staff, and my wife and I split a Franks's club which was huge, delicious, and a great price. In the area and was looking for a deli. Found this place and was well rated so we stopped by. Wife got the Italian sub sandwich and I ordered the BBQ beef. They were busy but seemed to move pretty fast with the orders. We were going to get our sandwiches and go to the local park not far away. I was asked if I wanted by BBQ sandwiches warmed up and I said yes. As it turned out it wasn't very warm. For this I only rated a 4. But seems like a great place to stop and enjoy a good deli sandwich. My wife really enjoy hers and we both would come back here. read more

Oh man, we got there around 11am for lunch and the place was packed with people waiting so they don't really need anymore great reviews! We got the Best Reuben Sandwich I Have Ever Had and it a Ham & Swiss on Rye. The Rueben filled us both up so I can't speak to the other which feels like it weighs over a pound. HUGE pickles. Did you know "Reuben" comes from a word meaning "Behold a son"? I didn't either till today. It's a far trek to get there but we will definitely return when we're in the neighborhood. PS there is also alot of meat for sale there, too. read more
