The people that you meet in the store are very friendly, both customers and shoppers. They have a bank in the store (US Bank) which I like using. The shelves are well stocked. If you live in Brighton your grocery store options are limited. King Soopers has served me quite well over the last 6 years. The service is alway friendly and the shelves are usually stocked. They also seem to be slowly making the transition to more natural foods, which is a plus. read more

I've used the delivery, goes through instacart, still this is regarding the quality of an Applewood smoked pork tenderloin on an order 10/25/20, this was absolutely terrible. The seasoning was terrible the pork was mushy from over marinading there is not one redeeming quality of this waste of our time and money. But speaking of instacart: they have substituted crap: canned corn beef in lieu of corned beef Hash! Unsalted cashews in lieu of salted cashews, the asparagus is growing twigs as it is being delivered. Im thinking ill try Target forget King Soopers their meat has never ever been good anyway. No way to give feed back, the receipts don't have transaction numbers or dates. read more

I do not have an issue with the store itself, the place is clean and we'll maintained. However, the customers are being more diligent about our current mask policy than the employees. Every department I went through had at least one mask on the chin instead of covering their nose and mouth. These people are restocking the shelves and touching the product whilst defying a state mandate during a pandemic, one they can refuse service to customers for doing exactly what they are practicing. This is a training and leadership opportunity for the store, I hope they take it read more

I stopped going to Safeway because I always had to bag my own groceries & was tired of the service. I switched to KS a few years ago & have always been happy. The management was visible, lots of carts around & very well stocked. Unfortunately, ever since the new KS in Brighton opened, this one had gone downhill. I feel KS moved all of their senior & friendly staff to the new building. Now I go in & don't recognize anyone. All clerks are standing around & chatting while I'm bagging my groceries. Employees talk about personal issues & when they go on break instead of paying attention to their customer. This absolutely makes me insane! I use the KS preloaded gift card because KS pays 14% to my daughter's soccer club. It's a great program & I kill 2 birds with one stone with a gas discount too. However, if this KS doesn't shape up, I'm going to have to spend my money elsewhere. Get it together guys!!! read more

I have been going to this King Soopers for 4 years now and I'm finally done. I live 5 min away and I will not mind driving 15 min more to a different Kings. The cashiers are consistently rude. I just left the store and I'm flabbergasted at the lack of customer service. They run out of carts/none in the coral often and when mentioned at the service desk, the response is also rude. The bakery took it upon themselves to change the size and color of a birthday cake I ordered. When I pointed out the mistakes, the bakery manager told me they thought the colors they chose were better. Lack of inventory is common place. It's a constant unpleasant experience. I wish I could give this store 0 stars. read more

I'm here once a week and am always satisfied. They have everything I need every time and the store is small enough that it doesn't feel like the rat race that some of their bigger stores are. My only gripe is that the front-end seems to be understaffed compared to other King Soopers stores that I've shopped at - it can take a while to get out the door. read more

The management team at this King Soopers does not care about their employees. They have an 84 year old man getting buggies outside right now in this blizzard. Why isn't there a younger person doing this. This gentleman doesnt even live in Brighton. He lives in Westminster. So he will have to drive home in this horrible weather! Why didnt they tell him to stay home or send him home early before the weather got so bad. How do they plan on getting him home safely?? Are they gonna pay for a hotel for him? The pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to. The staff is so rude I am going to start going to Walgreens (even though it is totally out of my way) The only one I have ever found to be pleasant is the young Spanish girl that wears glasses and the rudest is the guy that works there. I have always been under the impression that we are the customers but, here they treat you like you are always bothering them. Don't ever call them on the phone to ask a question if your lucky they will answer the phone but put you on hold for 20 min. or longer and when they do pick up they are the rudest people ever. I know I am not the only person that feels this way. Just stand in line with a couple other customer's and you hear the same complaints that I have. I think the staff at the pharmacy might need to get a clue that they are there to provide a service and quit treating people so rude. I love shopping here. The set up is a little confusing at first. But once you start shopping here regularly you get used to it. We often shop here when we just don't feel like going through the hassle of going to WM. The staff is friendly and courteous. I absolutely LOVE that I can finally buy my favorite organic teas here now. Good job King Soopers! read more

I worked in the grocery business in the MidWest for over thirty years. King Soopers are modeled on the same concept as most every other store in the middle of the country are. That's where it ends, however. I do not know when, exactly, these stores are stocked but nearly every time I go there, there are always u-boats (stocking carts) in the middle of the aisles. Most stores are stocked in the middle of the night by a "night crew". Apparently this concept is foreign to this market. Additionally, the meat department (at this particular store) is the worst I have EVER seen. Seriously, when you go to the store in the middle of the day and you can't find a chuck roast - something is NOT being done right. - Next - the parking lots are a total disaster. There are not enough cart corrals and nearly every time, I have to get out of the car, and move one of the hundred or so carts that liter the parking lot from customers who can't be bothered to walk the length of the parking lot to put the carts in the corrals. - Finally, and this is only an opinion, but King Soopers wouldn't last a month in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma. Competition would put them out of business in a month. When customers are paying the prices that they pay for groceries and then having to bag their own purchases - well, good luck with that. That sort of "customer service" ended 20 years ago. - However, I guess when your company is (basically) all that is out there, customer "service" is the last thing on your mind. Keep it up King Soopers....I hear that changes are on the horizon from HyVee, Price Chopper and Food Barn. We can all hope, can't we? read more
