The store is small enough that it's easy to find what you are looking for and it's easy to pop in and out with some quick healthy options before venturing into the mountains or heading to your hotel. The hours are listed outside so be mindful that they don't open super early, so if you have a later start to your day this is a way better experience than the King Soopers or Walmart in the area. read more

I was helped out a ton by Nicholas during my first time ever being in Natural grocers since I recently moved to this part of the country. He was warm and friendly and even helped me out with setting up a rewards account. I'm happy to come back and shop here. Produce is fresh, the items are health conscious, and the prices are great. They even have a section where you can get homemade natural grocer energy balls! I got about 33 items for $165. So on average that's $5 per item. Amazing! read more

Much needed brand new location for healthy groceries around the GVR. Everything is organic and the company is based out of Colorado so they support local farmers. They also host education classes and use recycled boxes. Small selections here, and don't give them a 3 star just because you found something cheaper at Costco. Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocers manifesto entitled "What We Won't Sell and Why", which includes artificial colors and flavors, artificial preservatives, irradiated food and meat raised using artificial hormones and antibiotics, among others. I can't believe all the low reviews. I started living in Green Valley Ranch a couple years ago and was so excited that there was a health food store just in our neighborhood. I go 2-3 times a month for speciality items as the King Soopers in our neighborhood is terrible. I have found that the checkers are friendly. The employees are very helpful. Yes!!! I found a gem!! There aren't a lot of healthy organic markets in the area and I wasn't sure what to expect pulling into this market.....but I walked in and this health food but was at home!!! Not only did they have fantastic selections (fresh produce, vegan selection, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free selections, vitamins, etc.), but prices were great. Especially on the large organic avocados. They were like a dollar each. A dozen organic free range eggs for $2.50. Parking was a piece of cake. No lines. My favorite grocery store!!! Just like back home only out here people are so nice!!! Not as much Vegan pre packed food as back home but I still found some great dishes by Eat Gud!! I was very excited to finally see a Natural Grocers pop up in this area! It's hands down the best store in Green Valley Ranch. They offer lots of beautiful, fresh, organic produce, reliable brands of vitamins and supplements, quality health food products, and an excellent range of healthy snacks, especially gluten free products. The staff are very friendly and helpful, for the most part. My only gripe is that the store doesn't carry all of the stock that other NG stores have. The staff are very happy to take item requests, although they generally get one delivery of the product, but then stop carrying it again. All in all, I'm very grateful to have such a wonderful local store and I hope it flourishes in the area and attracts similar quality stores (Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc.). read more

Such a clean store and has a lot of variety. I like that I'm able to pick up fresh items and even find hard to finds items such as steel grits and Semolina flour. Staff are very helpful and friendly too. Prices are on point with Whole Foods but may be a little less. read more

There was an old favorite quote I liked, that summarized Natural Grocers: "You could stop at 5 or 6 stores, or just 1." I was tired of stopping by the Target Superstore 20 minutes away, and the cramped King Soopers across the street. There was also another Natural Grocers, I've shopped for years but a 30 minute commute? No way! Now, this Natural Grocers became my #1 because they built it right in my neighborhood. I support cruelty free in cosmetics, supplements and hair care products, and Natural Grocers supports that. I use Giovanni, because again: it's cruelty free and super affordable! Dermae is a good skin care product that I found available here, as well as Andalou!! Andalou has an oil free moisturizer that feels sooo good on my face. For anyone who is concerned about COVID-19, Natural Grocers will be your best friend and honor these well founded concerns. Probably the worst natural grocers location I've ever been to. The staff is extremely slow and take forever to do anything, holding up the lines for a long time usually. Also they have a "only two items you can return per receipt" policy which is stupid. Plus they won't refund certain items including marked down stuff even if unopened and within 10 days. Lady that was the cashier today was also super duper rude and had a serious attitude without even saying hello first. They also don't really have very much bread. Do not go here if you want to be followed and profiled by the employees. The moment I walked in, I was followed by an employee, isle by isle. As I was shopping, very rudely an employee asked, If I needed help finding anything and I nicely told her no. Upon arriving at the register, the item rang up at a different price than advertised. I asked why that was and the employee with a very nasty angry attitude told me that was the wrong item. I asked then why was it marked at that price. Then another employee chimed in with a nasty mean attitude not knowing what's going on blindly agreeing with her coworker. Employee told me very rudely that was the wrong item repeating her self even though I told her I understood. I left and told her not to have an attitude with me. I will never come back. If you're a person of color, take your money somewhere. This place profiles customers of color and makes them feel like a thief. 0/5 stars read more

I have been going to Natural Grocers since their grand opening, and I wanted to say I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am thankful that we have shopping options in our neighborhood, and they have not disappointed. The produce looks good all the time, and they are many options for the store to be quite small. The store is ideal for those who want fresh ingredients daily, and the prices are reasonable, but it's understood you do have to pay a little more for quality. I have been a resident of green valley ranch for years. I was excited to finally see a healthy alternative when Natural Grocers came to the area. I went in browsing, not looking for anything in particular. I noticed a young lady who worked there seemed to always end up on the isle I was in. I didn't think anything of at first, maybe she was going to greet me or offer assistance. She never said a word. She literally stood at the end of the isle staring at me. Then someone announced over the loud speaker, "Customer needs assistance in the vitamin isle" I was the only person looking at vitamins :-/ she still stood there watching me! Wow as a Black woman , I haven't been racially profiled in a while, thanks for the reminder that racism is alive and well in 2021 Natural Grocers!!!! read more

Okay, I have lived in GVR for 16 years. Glad to have a store that is calmer than our terrible King Soopers. I really like the cashier named Meardis, she's calm, nice, and greets hello almost always ( not that she has to, she just does ). That said, the manager and the body care manager could learn a lot from Meardis. They are often irritated, curt in their replies, and seem that they are frustrated with customers. I try, as a customer, to be calm and chill because I know that many are NOT. But this week when I came in, they were out of A LOT of items ( items they have had TONS of since the pandemic ). Never a problem until now. Then when the body care manager ( with her not cute red hair ) tried saying that I should try other items , not the same at all to what I wanted , then tried to check me on labels and ingredients I was like WHATTTT??? She has done this to me before, her lack of knowledge on items, but trying to sound like she has it. She needs to check herself, before she wrecks herself. The store manager will not really acknowledge you unless she gets to know you too..... read more
