It's a great deal! It's way better than what I've been paying at Whole Foods or King Soopers for like four pieces! When I was at Konark last year there was not a restaurant but now you can order fresh cooked food at a counter and sit down too. I haven't ordered from it yet because I was in a hurry and trying to pick up a few things before I had to go back to work but I will try it soon. I do have to remember next time to bring my own reusable bag. They have bags but as most places in Colorado now they will charge which is understandable. It was a nice reusable bag with handles. I bought tea, shortbread cashew cookies, chocolate puff pastry rolls, Indian style sesame brittle, two different kinds of mango pickles in jars, tandoori paste for chicken, green tea, quick chai cardamom flavored mix, jackfruit chips snd sweet banana chips. Next time I should use a cart instead of a basket. I enjoyed my return trip a lot and will be back again a lot sooner than I was before.

I went to return these items to store, the lady at the counter was very misbehaved and refused to return the items. Any how I talked to the manager who returned the items with many ifs and buts. On my request that why you are refusing to return the items while the expiration date is till January 2027. He had no answer. He told me that we return the items with in a month. On my asking you have not displayed this anywhere in the store how the customer will know about it, he have no answer. There is no quality check and the store is selling infected products and if some one like me bring this to there notice they misbehave and refuse to return and make thousands of questions. Either they don't have refund policy as per government provisions or if the even have they have not displayed anywhere in the store. I requested him to show me the policy on this but he could not find it even after searching it for 10 minutes.I want to talk to the owner. The person I talked told me he is everything here manager and owner. I am visiting this store and making purchases since about last 5 years but this is the worst situation I find. They are running the business in monopolistic way and at the stake of the lives of customers. I request the authorities to have checks and balances on such businesses. Ravinder, Parker

I wanted to try this place because of the welcoming middle aged woman that showcases the market. Her inviting persona and knowledge of product viewed made me think that a place that does not just see you as a number, is worth visiting. I was hopeful in this approach that once walking in the market this would be my experience. Today after walking in around 10:45am, I was not greeted or even acknowledged. Usually if this happens I walk right out of the business. But I stayed because I wanted to give this place a chance. The first employee I saw looked at me, didn't say anything and continued to walk down the produce area where I was headed. If he had been in deep thought, fine so be it, but a simple "welcome in" or "hello" would have been fine. At this time there was no other customer in the area I was at in the store after walking in. I continued to the back where the deli, and restaurant area was and was not even acknowledged by the gentleman behind the counter working there, although I did hear him acknowledged a middle aged couple several minutes beforehand. Still searching through the market, I intentionally went down an isle where a worker was and decided, to look.for something in a puzzled way of frustration. But, also, nothing. I stated, okay, this cannot be this bad. Sure enough I was not acknowledged and the employee started to walk away. I gave one additional attempt to ask someone for help, but decided not to after experiencing what I did with the other employees. I'm not sure if it is a cultural thing or what, but it was as if I were invisible. Finally I completed my shopping, and waited about a minute to checkout. Another employee working the front after talking with another employee never acknowledged me either. I finally asked was this register open? The employee turned and walked over not saying much and stated yes. Now, long story short, I'm not upset, but more disappointed in the level of acknowledgment and customer service. Could I have pushed more, yes, but I should not have to. Acknowledge your customers, ask them are they finding things okay, or can I help you find something? Passing 3 different employees and nothing is not my ideal place to shop. I want small businesses to succeed not only with likes and views online, but with the very real people that enter your business. Please do better and fix your customer service because regardless of who you are, no one wants to be treated this way.

I walked into GW Supermarket looking for one thing -- mango puree -- and walked out having found…read moreeverything except that. That's the honest headline of this place: it's enormous, and it's stocked with sections for African, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean, and half a dozen other countries' pantries, and somehow the one basic thing I came in for wasn't on a shelf anywhere. I asked two different staff members if I was missing it, and both actually walked the aisle with me to check rather than just pointing and shrugging. No luck that day, but the effort mattered. Most of the packaging in here isn't in English, and if you're the type who needs to read every label before buying, budget extra time. But that's part of what makes it worth the trip -- this isn't a store dumbing itself down for anyone, it's a store built for the communities it actually serves, and the labels reflect that. If you get stuck, staff will come find the item with you instead of just gesturing toward an aisle number. Heads up walking past the seafood section: there's a real smell there, but it's the honest smell of fresh fish, not anything spoiled or off. If you've spent time in any proper seafood market, you'll recognize it immediately and it shouldn't put you off -- it's not a red flag, just a strong one. Prices are genuinely good for the volume and range of product you're getting, and the sheer scale of the place means you could shop here weekly and still find something new every time. It's a little chaotic in the best way -- more discovery than errand. Who it's for: anyone cooking outside the standard American grocery aisle, anyone who wants ingredients for a specific regional dish and is tired of substituting, and anyone who just likes wandering a store that clearly wasn't designed by committee. Go in with time to browse, not a tight list -- and maybe don't count on the mango puree. 4.5 stars, rounding to 4 -- knocked half a point for the miss on a pantry staple in a store this size, not for anything the staff did.

As I was able to finally utilize this Eastern European/Central Asian store early afternoon on a beautiful Monday, I felt compelled to write about my experience. It's located in this quiet strip mall in the southeastern corner of E Smokey Hill Rd and Chambers, its existence is somewhat overshadowed by the sports bar next door. Had I not come to this mall to work my side gig shift at the very bar, I don't think I would have ever found this cute market/deli/café. Small markets such as this tend to sell the normal groceries with higher price tags. I think I at least saw a review left by one of the past users who said it. And yet, based on my shopping experience this afternoon, I somewhat disagree to that opinion. I didn't buy much. As my refrigerator still had good variety of foods left, I only wanted a few to several items: namely rare finds. When I try a business that I have never used before, I bring my authentic self with curiosity bigger than one of the 14ers in Colorado. Hence, I arrived to it with so much expectation and anticipation. The store looked quiet at 12:50pm. Instead of the workers, one of the patrons who said he lived across from the street said a pleasant hi to me. He was enjoying his little him time at one of the tables upfront. Inside is quite modern. And cute/adorable as well. After passing the café area where they can make drinks, I proceeded to what appeared to be the deli section. Then I immediately saw their "prepared" foods. After carefully investigating each one, I grabbed the attention of one of the ladies all the way to the meat section for assistance. I picked what appeared to be rolled cabbage meat (so no cabbage around it; it appeared to be chicken so chicken hamburger meat type thing), stirred fried veggies that included eggplant, cauliflower, red pepper etc. and grape leaves (and yet, per the lady, what's inside the leaves was ground beef.) She carefully placed all of them in two separate containers for me to take home. I had no clue how much the per pound price for the prepared foods was but I really didn't care to be freak. And for the next 15-20 minute or so, I walked slowly to browse each aisle. The items they carry at this store were quite unique where some of the packages are/were written (I believe) in Russian language. Quite intriguing indeed. As much as I wanted to immerse myself in the foods that I have never had before, I exercised discipline by not buying all those "unknown" items. It was hard though! Like I said, it was my uncontrollable curiosity that drove me nuts while walking around! I ended up with only 4 items in the basket. When the lady upfront rang them up, I realized that the per pound price for the prepared foods was only $5.99 so between the two containers, it was only $10 with some change. Wow! This was not expected. I thought each one would be easily $10 so I was expecting to pay close to $20 for both. As soon as I got home, I tried all the prepared foods. And all of them are/were well-seasoned/prepared/cooked in a family style cooking. As I got to savor the "Tradishn" of the cuisines they boast about at this shop, my happy tummy was literally smiling with joy. This place didn't disappoint. This somewhat tiny in size but mighty in quality market quietly exists in a little space in the city of Aurora. And as the store's name says it all, it does carry the authenticity with modern twists. I quite fancy this place!
