Locally Owned, Mom-&-Pop Korean Grocery Stop on in and you won't be disappointed :) Wide selection of food with friendly service in a bright, open store. https://onhavanastreet.com/business/mmart/

I love this place!!! M-Mart always shows up for the community and I love shopping here because I know my money is supporting an amazing local family business.

As expected, this Yelp event was well organized by Matt and his helpful team. There were complimentary things such as shopping bags, hand held fans, small cups, visors, etc. passed out while waiting in line and listening to a DJ. The store is huge with a large variety of Korean food and products. Walking around the store were many items to sample. I had a fun time tasting authentic Korean food!

Food was delicious Korean based. A little spicy and delicious. It's the only Korean restaurant in Colorado. Owners are friendly and everyone was helpful.

First time stepping into M-Mart. Everything is in well organized rows and easily accessible. Great deals and tasty treats to be found everywhere. The fresh veggies was a small area at the entrance and we found an amazing deal on Shisito peppers, but not much else to be found. Definitly a great place for deals on seafood! Friendly staff too!

Ready to experience the market and music !

We were invited to tour this market as part of an event put on at least partially by the Havana Street group. And as somebody who shops at different Asian grocery stores fairly often this is probably the most accessible one I've ever been in there is plenty of accessible parking including two van accessible spaces right in the front and there's no barrier to entry at all. The aisles are actually fairly wide and most of the product is on lower shelves than in your traditional grocery store. The staff was super helpful and even noticed accessibility barriers before we got there moving things out of the way to make sure there was a clear path of travel. We also did some grocery shopping while we were there because why wouldn't we and the prices here were more than reasonable. We got a couple things we get habitually at other stores and the prices here were cheaper than what we're used to paying, including a massive bottle of soy sauce that if we had got it at our traditional grocery store would have cost more than our entire order. If you are in the aurora area anywhere close I really recommend trying this grocery store. The only accessibility feature we didn't have a chance to look at ourselves was the bathroom, but I'm sure that with how well thought out everything else was that they would have thought about that as well.

Am going to make mapo tofu so came by after lunch for tofu and mapo tofu sauce. They didn't have the sauce but I picked up some canned tuna in spicy sauce and original flavor. Didn't notice they have a bakery before but I did today. Cakes looked good. Might have to try them soon. Cashier was efficient and we were soon on our way.

For a long time, since its opening in 1983, before the arrival of HMart, Mmart on South Havana was the go-to place for most of Korean goodies in town. It has similar intimate feel as Pacific Mercantile in Sakura Square, the selection may not be as the bigger newcomer nearby, but its curated selection usually has everything you need and carries some brands not seen in other stores and the service is more dedicated and personable. As such, this neighborhood shop is still the go-to Korean grocery store for many locals.

M Mart was a lovely experience! I attended the Yelp event to promote this grocery store and I'm so happy I did! I had an absolute blast taste testing the many tables to get further ideas on what to purchase! I was a huge fan of the Korean pear! I will say, it's the best one I've had at any of our local groceries in a while. So, for that alone I'll be back! The bakery also had some really delicious items and I enjoyed the cream-filled breads! I would also return for that item! Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and it made for a great time! It's a smaller grocery store, so if they have your items and you like that quicker in&out style of shopping, this is the spot for you!

I'm a very adventurous eater and cook, so I loved wandering the aisles investigating all they have on the shelves. Huge selection of teas, noodles, Korean snacks, fishes, and meat!

Kimmmmbop! Big portions for cheap! I could grab one each week!

Ever since being introduced to M-Mart via two Yelp events I have been hooked. The only place I have been able to find tako chips, kim bop and a plethora of other Asian foods. Remember to look past the registers because they have a bakery hidden there! Supporting local has never been easier and everyone is so nice there too! M-Mart is your standard grocery store with a hometown touch. Havana is far more lively with M-Mart here!

I've been a fan of the M Mart for a long time, that is, at least 10 years. They just celebrated their 40th anniversary. (Congrats!) I like to shop for fresh produce here, especially their glorious selection of exotic mushrooms. (Think trumpet, oyster, and enoki mushrooms.) I also like their excellent range of imported spices, sauces, and gluten free noodles, rice cakes, etc. If you love Korean food like I do, M Mart has all of the ingredients you need to make it for yourself at home! This place is chock full of great products and aisles full of fun items. By the way, the staff are all friendly here and ready to help in any way. Visit and see for yourself!

3rd for 2022 This grocery store has 5 things going on. 1st: fresh produce in open display and also refrigerated section. Bean sprouts, peeled garlic and also lots of fruits. Tofu and also banchan. Got most of made in Korea and Japan items and not too many ROC or other Asian countries. 2nd: excellent meat market. I always get meats from here for KBBQ. 3rd: to go only restaurant. You can get locally made kimchee and such plus take out food. 4th: sushi shop that makes specialty gim bap and also other dishes 5th: Honey Bakery. Freshly made baked goods and cakes There are no waiting like H mart. If you can't find it, employee is readily available.

After a frustrating experience at H Mart, I have decided that a smaller mom and pop M-Mart is a better place shop.

I've watched more than one car back into another trying to escape a space that was clearly designed for a smaller crowd than this place actually pulls in. If you're coming, budget an extra minute to ease out slowly and watch your mirrors. Once you're inside, though, it's a different story. This is where I go for halal ground beef, lamb, and chicken on a regular rotation, and the quality has never once let me down -- everything's fresh, well-trimmed, and clearly turned over fast enough that nothing sits. The market itself is easy to navigate, genuinely clean, no overwhelming meat-counter smell, no piped-in music competing with your thoughts -- just a well-organized space that gets out of your own way while you shop.

Meats and cheeses were abundant at the counter; there was a good variety of typical Middle Eastern products and some products I had not seen before. Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. The place was crowded and I was one of the few people there who did not speak Arabic. That's a good sign! It means that Arash fulfills a cultural need. I'll be sure to go back to Arash when I next come to Denver.

I walked into GW Supermarket looking for one thing -- mango puree -- and walked out having found…read moreeverything except that. That's the honest headline of this place: it's enormous, and it's stocked with sections for African, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean, and half a dozen other countries' pantries, and somehow the one basic thing I came in for wasn't on a shelf anywhere. I asked two different staff members if I was missing it, and both actually walked the aisle with me to check rather than just pointing and shrugging. No luck that day, but the effort mattered. Most of the packaging in here isn't in English, and if you're the type who needs to read every label before buying, budget extra time. But that's part of what makes it worth the trip -- this isn't a store dumbing itself down for anyone, it's a store built for the communities it actually serves, and the labels reflect that. If you get stuck, staff will come find the item with you instead of just gesturing toward an aisle number. Heads up walking past the seafood section: there's a real smell there, but it's the honest smell of fresh fish, not anything spoiled or off. If you've spent time in any proper seafood market, you'll recognize it immediately and it shouldn't put you off -- it's not a red flag, just a strong one. Prices are genuinely good for the volume and range of product you're getting, and the sheer scale of the place means you could shop here weekly and still find something new every time. It's a little chaotic in the best way -- more discovery than errand. Who it's for: anyone cooking outside the standard American grocery aisle, anyone who wants ingredients for a specific regional dish and is tired of substituting, and anyone who just likes wandering a store that clearly wasn't designed by committee. Go in with time to browse, not a tight list -- and maybe don't count on the mango puree. 4.5 stars, rounding to 4 -- knocked half a point for the miss on a pantry staple in a store this size, not for anything the staff did.

It's a little different how the store is organized. They have a section called 'international market' with among other things Mexican, Korean and Japanese food. Not my preferred store layout hence I don't shop here often. But they do have a lot of options.
