Never been to a H Mart before so nothing to compare it to. I will say the store wasn't the cleanest. The floors were really gross and I was generally thrown off by that. They have a strict no photo/video recording in the store but best believe they have several cameras on you. The prices weren't too bad especially for imported goods. I didn't find much myself as we road-tripped here and I didn't want to struggle getting stuff back. They did have some of everything though. They charge for bags, so bring your own. My friend did say this is one was smaller than others she'd been too. She also said the others usually have a food court where you can get different foods. They did have some food situation going on in one of the corners but did not go out of my way to look. read more

Pretty big hmart location, alot bigger than what they have in new york. whole variety of seafood as well as a new built japanese bakery inside the market. Fresh produce and vegetables. Snacks and frozen varieties of any kind as well as a small food court inside with a decent selection of asian alcohol. We mostly come here to get the beef rib meat to use for our homemade galbi as well as the other ingredients needed. could be cleaner, but other than that great market to stop by to. read more

This H Mart is located in the same plaza as Mr. Bakery and Ebisu. My husband and I decided to make a visit to this market for some grocery shopping this late afternoon. We arrived a little after 4:35 pm. This H Mart does seem smaller than the ones I have shopped at back home in California. Also this H Mart does not really have a food count, but you are able to purchase premade foods and meals. As we were shopping and browsing areas of the store, we were actually pretty surprised to see that premade meals were already marked down by 30%, even though this was around 5 pm (and the store closes at 9 pm). Definitely a good deal, we ended up picking up a few meals and also some gimbap. I wished our local H Mart would discount their premade meals at the end of the day (as we will sometimes shop at our local store an hour before closing). Shopping at this H Mart does the basic job (we also ended up purchasing some vegetables and meat that we ended up cooking back at our Airbnb for dinner). But it did feel rather cramp in certain areas, as boxes were just stacked up, making the aisles narrow. Overall, this is just an okay H Mart, but would prefer to shop at the larger ones local to me. read more

Haven't been here in a while as I'm the only one who eats the Asian snacks and food now. I can't finish quantity so one shopping trip lasts me a while. They're busy but they keep up with stocking and always have interesting items. I really like the hot pot box with the different ingredients in it. And the kpop demon hunters ramen choices. Waiting to see what lunar new year goodies will be sold. The self checkout is better than the 15 items or less cash register lane. We only had two items so it was nice to have this option since the lines are long. read more

Love that this store exists. If you're looking for a wide selection of international foods this is your spot. Sometimes I just come here for their kimbap, it's that good, and I was pleasantly surprised that they recently started selling Latino desayunos/antojitos like popusas. Do not come here in a rush because there is so much to see and it is usually super busy. Also it is sometimes hard to find things and the staff is not always the most helpful, however, all of the yummy food makes up for it. read more

H Mart is the largest U.S.-based grocery store chain that specializes in Asian-style products and has various locations throughout the U.S. and internationally. They originally opened on the east coast in NYC back in 1982 and has expanded to nearly 100 locations. This store in Denver is the OG for me as it was my first introduction to the grocery chain in the early 2000s when I lived in Colorado. I recently visited again and surprisingly, not much has really changed. They are known for their Korean products, but they also carry a lot of other Asian products from Thai to Filipino and many more. It's really a one-stop shop for all the things. I love all the different banchans, cuts of meat for bbq, and the snackies. SO many snackies! My favorites are the Jaws Ice Bar by Lotte, sikhye, and the crispy grain rolls. I was also super excited to see the Korean convenience store coffee pouches that went viral last year. I didn't realize it was a thing when I was in Korea and missed out on the trend, lol. The coffee is in a plastic Capri Sun-style pouch that's filled with pre-made coffee and meant to be poured over ice. My husband and I tried some out and it was good! Wish I had the chance to go back for more and try more flavors. All in all, this is a great store for all your Asian grocery needs. They pretty much have everything you can think of, including household goods, fresh, live seafood, and random knick knacks. This is the best Asian grocery store. There is a ton of parking and shops around. They have a huge variety of produce, and have many options not found in regular grocery stores. They also have snacks, produce, liquor, clothing, pots and pans, and a food court. Literally everything you could ask. Their sushi grade fish is hit or miss and I've had both hits and misses but it depends on how picky you are with that. They also have rewards so make sure you sign up for that. read more

I don't know what I would do with myself without this HMART. No seriously there are many items I would have to pay either 5 times the price to get them online or go all the way to Westminsters HMART location! I've been familiar with Hmart for a while since they had them in the DC area where I used to live. This location is pretty good! They keep everything well stocked. This location also doesn't smell that bad. Sometimes with the live fish and all the seafood they have here these locations can get quite smelly but I think this location does a good job in cleanliness. My favorite grocery in the area. There is so few Asian markets around that this has become a default place to go and being closest but of lately we have a few complaints: 1. Always smells 2. Lines are way too long 3. Produce is all old.. they are clearly buying the oldest stock and not turning it fast enough.. to make it worst it's become expensive compared to other stores. I've been a loyal customer of H Mart Aurora for years, driving 30 minutes every two weeks to shop there. But today (June 8, around 3 PM), I experienced something deeply upsetting. I bought a box of kiwis and found one that was clearly moldy. I simply swapped it with a good one -- something any reasonable shopper would do. A security guard came over and told me, "You can't do that. Your child is watching," in a scolding tone. I showed him the spoiled kiwi and asked, "Would you eat this?" He responded, "Don't talk to me. Walk away." This happened right in front of my child. I wasn't being dishonest -- I was trying to protect my family from bad produce. What hurt most was the judgment and humiliation. Ironically, after I walked away, they quietly replaced the entire box of kiwi -- proving I was right. The store manager apologized politely, but the damage was done. Customers deserve respect, especially parents doing their best. I sincerely hope H Mart will train staff to handle situations with more understanding and professionalism. I attempted to file a formal complaint to H-Mart after the incident that occurred on June 8th, but discovered there is no working official email (emails to contact@hmart.com bounce back), and their website's customer service chat does not include Colorado as a location option -- meaning there's no formal channel to submit complaints for customers in Aurora. This raises serious concerns. As a long-time customer who drives 30 minutes to this store every two weeks, I expect to be treated with basic respect. The most disappointing part is that the security guard dismissed my valid concern in front of my child and told me to "just go complain if you want." I did bring the issue to the manager on duty, who apologized. However, there was no follow-up, no contact information offered, and no accountability. If a company blocks all paths of customer feedback, what does that say about how they value their shoppers? I'm sharing this experience not just for myself, but for others who may encounter similar treatment -- and find they have no voice. read more

H Mart is a great store for specialty foods ingredients, noodles, seafood & special Filipino seasoning & sauces. The store is always kept very clean & organized. Certain Filipino snacks, produce & canned / frozen foods are usually available. The staff is always nice & very courteous despite of the language barrier. OMG!! H Mart in Aurora, CO was an amazing experience. It was my first time shopping there and I couldn't believe the variety of produce and meets they had. That area could have been its own grocery store. It's huge. I went for ox tails and fish. The oxtails were pricey but they had meaty big bones and they weren't sawed in half with a small amount of meat. They definitely made a high pack of quality ox tails available. I didn't mind paying more for quality and size. I didn't come in for fish but when I saw a huge supply of fish choices I almost lost my mind. I couldn't believe how much fish they had. They must of had 25 choices of fish to choose from and they all looked fresh and healthy. Nice big size whole fish. It was unfortunate my dad couldn't come in. He would have been in fish heaven. The rest of the store was huge but unfortunately I was pressed for time. They have restaurants inside. I saw electrical kitchen products for sell such as a blender and coffee pot. I think they had a make up counter, they had alcohol for purchase, and much more from what I saw with a quick once over. After lunch I came here to look around since I like to go to international markets and peruse to see if there is anything interesting. As I walked in the front entrance I was hit with horrible rotting smell, it was quite displeasing but I was already in the store so I ventured forward. This store has probably the biggest produce section I have ever seen in any store I have ever been in. I found things here that I never seen in any other store, namely Durian fruit from Thailand. The rest of the store is set up like any other store with shelves stocked full of merchandise, some locally sourced and some imported. maybe when I have more time Ill stop back in and explore more deeply. read more

What's not to love about HMart? You can find almost anything you need if you look hard enough. Actually, I do know one thing about HMart that needs updating. I neeeeed it to be closer to me. They have the fresh produce (veggies, fruits, spices, kimchi), dry ingredients (dried herbs, mushrooms), fresh, frozen & dried meat and fish (frozen octopus, chicken gizzards, hearts, necks, dried salted fish like dried anchovies, jeprox, etc.). They have several canned food, condiments, every noodle/ramen imaginable. They also have a part of the store that sells kitchenware and other thingamajigs. Service was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide ice for the perishable meats/fish that you buy. Ambiance is like any regular Asian supermarket without the smell :). Parking is free and spacious.
