The checkout was understaffed with only one cashier for self check out and one of the regular lines. This was midday on Thursday so not the busiest time. I bought a dozen roses with a little baby's breath for $19.99. No problem. The issue I have is that most are dying less than a week after even using plant food and having sufficient water. I'm so glad we have this market in our neighborhood! It has everything I need and more. One day I needed hot sausage for a ziti I was making, and I was thrilled to find out they make their sausage in-house -- and it's delicious. Clarks has that nostalgic, welcoming vibe I love in a local market. I'm not usually a fan of grocery shopping, but they make it genuinely enjoyable. The prices feel fair and affordable, and the staff is always pleasant and friendly. I also appreciate that they carry both unique specialty items you don't often find in a typical grocery store and all the regular essentials. They even offer prepared foods -- I haven't tried them yet, but if they're anything like the rest of their products, I'm sure they're great. It is an outstanding addition to Lowry and will be worth the drive from Central Park. It has a great vibe, an excellent selection, superb presentation, and outstanding customer service. Our entire shopping experience was very good. There is a huge free parking lot totally dedicated to Clark's customers, and the complex they're located in includes Target and other customer-service-oriented enterprises. They have a liquor store adjacent to the grocery store, and a quick look indicated they have everything that you would need from an alcohol standpoint. The well-lit interior is accompanied by excellent, upbeat music. This created a great atmosphere, further enhanced by the tremendous energy and customer service from the staff and a robust selection that includes brand names throughout in an easy layout. I was particularly impressed with their meat and seafood department and their pastries, fruit, and produce offerings. They're more expensive than Walmart and slightly above King Soopers' pricing, and the quality is terrific. Join their VIP club for information on sales and digital coupon specials, and I hope they add an app down the line for even more ease. They have seven locations in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. We grabbed a premade sandwich (which was tasty) and added a pasta bow-tie salad that was darn good. An array of refrigerated beverages is available near their food bar station (six seats with power outlets), and we appreciated being able to dine easily. Their pizza looked good, and I liked that slices were available (under $5/slice). Special thanks to staff member Charles, who helped me over the phone to locate whether the store carried a product and lured us inside the next day as a result. Their staff was abundant with personality and aid, as five members merit being pointed out for rocking it (Ashley, Taylor, Joseph, Dorothy, and Adeianna). I cannot say enough about the quality of their staff, which makes a big difference to me. This is my favorite grocery store in Denver I can't express how much we love having Clark's in the neighborhood. They have the freshest produce, the *best* seafood, topping Whole Foods for sure, and the friendliest people working there. They are always happy to stop what they're doing to help me track down something, and I often don't use self check because I love catching up with the checkers. They make an effort to stock local food as well, as well as healthier alternatives to things I normally stock at home. Go, enjoy, and skip the self check :) read more

When Lucky's pulled out of Lowry, it seemed we'd get stuck with something less to highlight the boxy new builds of Boulevard One. Nope. Of all the additions to Lowry over the last decade, Clark's is by far my favorite. I dread going to the big box stores, but come here 2-3x a week for little things because I enjoy the experience. Unless HEB Central Market comes to Colorado (probably never), we can revel in the choices of stores that carry sombunall things we need. TJ's for this. Soopers for that. Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc. With its unique mix of high-end and niche items, good produce, quality meats, and different brands of normie items than I see elsewhere. Clark's offers diversity of selection, quality, and price to fit many budgets--it's no discount store, but not unreasonable for most items considering price hikes everywhere nowadays. An item found elsewhere might be a little cheaper, might not. Not seeing the same old generic corporate stuff--Clark's carries smaller brands--is refreshing. The beer cooler provides a solid example. Clark's carries elite local brewers as well as mids and below. No need to stop at a liquor store after getting groceries, and they are open later. Their wall of beverages has far more than Pepsi/Coke and Starbucks, as well. Just a different level of quality offered. My son loves the gelato counter. Staff smile and offer to help. Win. Nit pick: Self-checkouts trumpet "We are not accepting cash at this time." They never have. Will they? I like their selection but the produce they sell seems old. I've brought home moldy fruit twice now. Also the girl bagging my groceries the other day was plastered. She was asking a lot of personal questions too. If you show up to work drunk maybe put on a face mask so you don't wreak of booze and try not to talk too much. That's my advice. read more

I REALLY wanted to love this place. I really don't though. It's shiny, pretty and very clean. The staff is friendly. I don't like it and won't make it part of my shopping routine because it's so damn expensive. Seriously, I shop at Whole Foods, which is cheaper and has a TON of organic produce, something this store lacks. Seriously, organic milk is like $10/gallon?!?! Freaking heck man, Whole Foods is $7.29, King Soopers is 6.29, Target is $8.39. This alone makes me not want to shop here. I would imagine the sentiment is shared because I stopped in last night (I was tired and my laziness got the better of me, since this is more convenient to get to than either Whole Foods I go to regularly) and it was dead during evening rush hour. The one time I stopped in before this and you were completely out of hamburger buns, not one in the entire store, so I put all my stuff back and went somewhere else. But honestly, the $10 for milk is ridiculous. Thats a lot. Listen I'm not cheap, but I need a value and this isn't hitting the mark for me. In response: $6.29 for "other offerings" is for a half gallon I believe. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am, which would make that MORE expensive than the $10 a gallon I mentioned above. The grocery store from the mountain resorts in Lowery. Great alternative to the usual chain supermarkets, including Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff, and just the right size -- not too big or small. All of this made for a good shopping experience. Many of the labels and brands at Clark's are familiar and ubiquitous, but they have a few items like breads and cheese that are harder to find and they have a good selection of pre made and made to order products ranging from pizza to sushi. I'm so incredibly excited that Clark's opened in our neighborhood! The selection is amazing! From locally sourced and supported items to a bountiful selection of imported and artesianal goods, Clark's has something for everyone. The price points are also fantastic. I enjoy the friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. It's also attached to a wine and liquor store, and the staff there is also terrific. I love that the staff are all friendly and attentive. Ben, the store manager, greeted us personally on our first visit, and ordered a special kind of cheese at our request! This kind of care and attention to detail are the kind of thing this neighborhood needs at its new go-to local market. So pleased! Clark's is my new happy place! read more

We flew into Denver from Sacramento before Memorial Day. Before we drove down to an Airbnb in Moffat, we loaded up on groceries at Safeway, then went to Clarks's for meat, wine and produce. What a fabulous market. First, it's beautiful and immaculately clean. Second, their selections are very high-end and the presentation is unparalleled. And third, but not least, their staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. In Sacramento, we have two higher end chains called Whole Foods and Nugget Markets, but Clark's is second to none. What other grocer provides the breadth of selections we find at Clark's. So many other types of produce fit this same model. Grocery shopping is fun at this store. Keep up the good work. Ever since it opened I just can't seem to make this Clark's my go-to store, as much as I would like to support a regional business in my neighborhood. Prices and selection were all over the place at the beginning, and I was hoping this was something they would work out over time. But it's still hit or miss, and the quality of the food just isn't necessarily miles ahead of other nearby grocery stores. Maybe it's nice for the occasional splurge on a high-priced piece of fish or something. But on my most recent "trying again", I was subjected to pretty snotty attitude from staff when I needed help locating produce and finding prices, and also got randomly overcharged at the self-checkout machine. I did get help, and was issued a refund, but it never came through. So, maybe in a few months or a year I'll try again, again, but for now I'm over it, again. It's just annoying that this store is trying to come across as high-end without actually delivering high-end quality or service. Stop pretending you're Dean & Deluca and maybe just try to serve the neighborhood better. read more

My girlfriend thinks I am having an affair with a man named Clark because I come here so often. I love their boxed items, their fresh produce, and especially love their little Asian and Italian mini isles. PJ is always super friendly and willing to provide recommendations. I got the same cake and ate it 3 times in one week. I'm not proud of that but it had to be eaten. I would agree with the other person about the no accepting cash, but it never bothers me. I really wish my Clark's number worked at self checkout. It seems that I have to put my number in 3 times for it to take, with no confirmation. Other than the POS system, love coming here. read more

I can't believe I just discovered Clark's and I live right up the street. The vibe is so elevated that I feel like I'm on vacation in Nantucket! The entire store is immaculate and expertly merchandised, and they are more than adequately staffed with friendly personnel. It's a little more expensive than the big chains but not as high as Whole Foods. Today I got a deli item that is SO GOOD...roasted yams with hatch chili (there's black beans and corn in the recipe, too). I'm sure it's a seasonal offering, so get some while it's available! read more

This place is the bomb. Their offerings are off the charts. Please note that they haven't even officially opened yet. They have done a soft opening, asking patrons to be patient while they work through the challenges of any new business opening. So to the judgy judgers showing up here to trash this new place, take pause. Clark's makes Whole Foods look sad, and nobody is fighting over parking spots which is a daily occurrence in Cherry Creek. Brick oven pizza, sushi, juice bar, smoothie bar, coffee/tea/pastry shop, gelato, and the produce and fish/meat is super high-quality. I like the layout off the store. It is easy to find what you are looking for. The food is fresh and they have some prepackaged items. The staff is helpful. It is less expensive than Whole Foods (which I also like) but just a little more expensive than Sprouts (which I also like). I just wanted to give some pricing info for comparison.
