This neighborhood King Soopers has ample parking. There is a Starbucks inside. They sell Krispie Kremes! It is somewhat unkempt. There is a decent selection of wine and some amazing cupcakes! It's open from 6 am to 11 pm. read more

I ordered a week's worth groceries for pickup and sent my husband to bring them home. He said that Dan was extremely helpful and friendly sorting out some of the requested organic items that King Soopers did not have at that time. When my husband returned, I noticed a few items were missing, so I called the store. Dan answered and immediately said he would make things right and as soon as my husband pulled back into the parking lot, Dan came out with the missing items. I've used grocery delivery/pickup from several grocery stores, and having missing/damaged items is a pretty common thing for any store. I appreciate the prompt service and correction to my order. The groceries and produce I ordered were high quality and exactly what I would have selected if I spend a few hours at the grocery store. read more

Someone said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I don't know if that's true but if it is then I am most certainly insane. Why? Because I keep going back to this KS and expecting it to actually have common food items! But NO!!! They don't. Ground pork??? NO. Pork shoulder roast?? NO!!!! I can't stand it anymore. I'm so tired of having to go to multiple grocery stores because this chain is so pathetic. And they're all bad... at least the ones in Longmont. The pharmacy at the South hover road King Soopers is the worst pharmacy in town. The service is non-existent it takes two days to get most prescriptions filled I have been going to King Sooper pharmacies for 30 years and I am done. I was very pleased when I had Nate M. helping me check out in line, and how he helped try to give me an appropriate sale price on TY beanie babies! Great deal right now for $5.99! I wasn't able to get it right then because I was having trouble paying for my food but a kind couple paid a dollar for me (bless them), I was so embarrassed But I was so happy to have all this fancy food on clearance that you normally wouldn't find anywhere which were not going to expire for months! Great store! Great employees! great customer service! Pharmacy is busy and very helpful if you call! And they have security which makes a women like myself feel better especially when they are kind to the shoppers and not following ppl around. can't wait to go back for flower sales! Racism live and well at this King Soopers. my Wife and I went there to purchase items for dinner. When I rang up the beer in the self checkout the clerk immediately hesitated and wanted to see both my Wife and my id. I presented my id but my Wife did not bring her ID. So we could not buy the beer. We are both in our 50's and Hispanic. I bet I know why we were not allowed to purchase the beer. read more

Ordered the ham meal for xmas. Do yourself a favor and go to Safeway. Way better. The ham was awful and so dry. Wont do that again.

This review is actually about "Longmont's #1 Florist | Avas Same Day Free Delivery | avasflowers.net", but as the flowers were delivered by King Soopers I have to assume that for Longmont this is who AVAS uses. 1/ On the AVAS web site you can only post a review if you select "good", they will not allow posting of public negative reviews through there web site. That should tell you something. 2/ I ordered 3 days before the delivery date. I wanted morning delivery. The web site looks like you have to pay $9 for next day morning delivery. This was confusing. I wrote a note in special instructions. Never heard back from them. $9 for morning delivery. Rip Off. 3/ Some of the flowers were already wilting when they did arrive at 3:00PM on the delivery day. (This was supposed to be a $80 order). 4/ Checked the full size card box, extra $4. What arrived was the size of a business card. Rip Off. 5/ Their web site actually makes it look like this is a real flower shop. 6/ I did complain to the company (all of the above). Had a note back saying sorry, we will try to do better in the future. read more

As far as King Soopers goes, this one is fairly standard. It's not the nicest location I've been to, but it is decently stocked and the staff is helpful, and there is sufficient parking out front. It does not have the nicer elements like a Murray cheese or salad bar, but it's a solid place to get groceries and gas. read more

I'm not as impressed. Compared to other KS stores, this one is overdue for a face lift. Something about the inside is just drab, starting with the claustrophobic narrow entrance. You can't see the produce section when you enter, it's way over there down a few aisles. There's something about being greeted by the fruits and veggies that keep you healthy. It's the produce that keeps the store looking alive and vibrant. I almost walked out to shop at my regular KS store, but convinced myself to stay. The meat department was small, but I found what I was looking for... I agree with La C. that the workers are friendly. BUT... The most frustrating part was the incline of the parking lot that kept my cart rolling. It was almost impossible to find "just the right spot" for the wheels so the cart wouldn't go careening into my car or worse (eeps!) into another car. read more

This is not the "nicest" King Soopers in town, but it has the best costumer service I've ever experienced. Every single time I go I'm impressed. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that the deli meat and cheese is a little limited and sometimes pre-sliced. Despite this, I always choose this location no matter where I am in town due to the amazing workers. read more

Typical grocery store well stocked and festively decorated for this time of year. My main comment is that the folks up in here are FRIENDLY, workers that say hello, how can I help you and gladly walk you to the section you're looking for. I'm jaded and come from rude California so this just shocks me and make me feel warm and fuzzy. read more

If you are a senior or have small children take great care in this store. They have placed chairs near the door that are under a shelf the same color as the wall. These chairs are often slightly under and back from the edge of the shelf, causing problems for seniors who have cataracts and will not notice and when they sit down get their back hit because of the protruding shelf. Likewise, a small child can hit their head against the shelf. The management is aware of this safety hazard and even though it is simple to fix, just drop a piece of plywood from the edge of the shelf to below the top of the chair back, they refuse to do anything. I have been in many King Soopers stores and never seen such a negligent set-up with the chairs as this one. And don't depend on King Soopers insurance company to pay for the damages - they have an in-house insurance company called Sedgwick that has over 600 complaints filed against it online for failure to responsibly handle complaints. read more

Customer service desk slow.two people fast as zombies working but one in training. Just watching mostly. Line gets pretty long. On the first week of the month alot of people paying bills and a lot of westerunion wires. I can see it takes at least 15 min. Being behind 3 people with wire transfers will keep you in line for an hour. Thats what customer service says. Why not let manager know training should never be on first second or third day of mo. Also need more cashiers. Real lack of comunicating between zombies and managment. Zombies getting to hear take customer comments unfair. Need a manager to help at customer service when training is going on, to see what they subject zombies to. read more
