I was dismayed by my recent experience here. The flowers were nice, but the service interaction felt yucky to me. I called ahead to order a bouquet and spoke with someone on the phone. We had a pleasant interaction. I asked them to prepare a bouquet for pickup and communicated a very clear "not-to-exceed" budget number. When I arrived to pick up my bouquet, they first tried to ring me up without giving me a total. I asked for a total and they told me a number that was nearly 10% higher than the budget that I had communicated on the phone. When I reiterated the number that I had requested, they told me that the overage was from tax. It's likely that this was a simple miscommunication, which is totally understandable-- it was their reaction that dismayed me. They acted like I was out of line for even inquiring about the fact that they were charging significantly more than we had agreed. And they did not offer any type of apology or offer to modify my bouquet to make it fit within my budget. It would have been a simple gesture. Although this was not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, I seldom splurge on fancy flowers and the experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth on what was otherwise a cheerful day. read more

All of this stylemaking doesn't come cheap...but if you're in a mood to splurge on a well-deserved gift for yourself (go ahead, you're worth it!) or others, this is the place! Ordered a corsage and boutonnière for homecoming. Specified red flowers. Came to a whopping $90. When I went to pick them up, they were white. I asked for the red ones I ordered and was told that they decided to make these with white blooms. Aside from that, the corsage had one small flower, and the boutonnière was absurdly large. My son could not use it anyways because it clashed with the cream suit jacket. Total waste. I'm stunned. Avoid this nightmare. read more

I was curious to see what had replaced Euro flowers in the north boulder shopping center and I'm happy to say Fiori Flowers is a FANTASTIC, reasonably priced flower shop. I am very happy with this shop and am glad they have taken up the location as Euro flowers was about as bad as it gets. Fiori did a great job on an arrangement for me. Arrangements look modern and colorful, not staid and boring. I have also purchased some great candles from this store that actually burn with the smell they have in the box. They were a lot like those delicious but terribly overpriced Votive candles sold at West End Gardener, but for a third of the price. (I think one candle from the West End Gardener is close to $40-sort of hideous really.) I love this store and will be sure to stop by for gifts and flowers. Prices better than and flowers more fresh than Ideal/Whole Foods across the street. I hope they pick up business for people getting flowers for people in hospital. I'm very pleased.
