Horrible customer service in the pharmacy, especially the manager! Switched a few ago to another pharmacy after 35 years. My husband had a simple HABA question for them today, approx 7:35 P.M. Three if them behind the counter, including the manager. Couldn't be bothered to help him. Waved to the area it was in. My husband asked where, and they said again, it's over there. Wow! I get the 2 star rating on here. Scheduled a delivery for 6-7am this morning. Almost 8:30 and nothing. Not a text, call, or anything. Called the store directly because customer service couldn't help (on with them for over 30 minutes), and they can't do anything at store level. I like king Soopers in general, but the delivery service is not reliable. We used the delivery because of busy schedules, but the whole process ended up costing more time. read more

Soopers is not so super anymore and there are other choices. The staff are wonderful and always try to help, but are overworked with all the extra work management puts on them. Plus, they have to maneuver down the same cluttered aisles we customers do. The food is stocked sometimes in 3 different locations and staff is often unsure of location to find an item. Parking is challenging enough year-round but in spring and summer they eliminate dozens of close in spaces to set up gardening. The atmosphere in the store is always rushed and crowded, what with several cardboard portable displays in every aisle. It's stressful shopping there and now that I've found a store that has eliminated all the nonsense, I'll only use King Soopers as a last resort. read more

Store is user friendly and laid out in a manner that makes sense. All of the employees encountered were extremely helpful and friendly and offered assistance even if not asked. While they didn't have everything I needed they were still well stocked. Not super busy and not long lines. Mostly very impressed with employees. read more

So me and my son came to king soopers to buy some AIRB&B Gift cards to pay my rent. So as I grab the cards and head to money services a man named garret greets us. As I'm paying for the cards which was a total of $2,000 (it's AIRB&B I'm paying rent for a house) garret says it's suspicious. I reacted as if it was a joke and my son tries to pay but he proceeds to say "I'm sorry I can't do it it's very suspicious" so without escalating the situation, I proceed to show him the AIRB&B app which shows my rent is $2,019. He then says that he can't help us and wants us to leave. So I ask to speak to the manager and supposedly he IS! The manager! So he did not sell us the gift cards and we left. It was a complete disgrace to the company and if I was his superior I would fire him 10/10. This whole situation was a disaster and I hope no one goes through the same thing. read more

So I guess there's a new law that was passed that I was unaware about. When purchasing alcohol, they ID everyone who is with you? This morning when shopping, my fiancé & 16 month old daughter were with me. I was checking out, I was paying but the old lady proceeded to ask for ID from my fiancé. He's well over 21 but left his wallet at home. So I guess she needed to ID my 16 month old as well??? So I wasn't allowed to purchase MY alcohol. I even offered to purchase the alcohol separately as a separate order. Nope! Wasn't allowed to! So I grabbed my alcohol & went to a diff cashier and was able to purchase my alcohol. For sure train your staff to not be incompetent. That is ridiculous & I've never heard of this nonsense. I'll take my business elsewhere where it won't be a hassle to buy some damn seltzer's. read more

unfortunately, I've had to make a decision to not shop here anymore. I had some problems in the past and was able to sort of overlook them or get past them. But now I'm done. Most recently they charged me twice for the same groceries. Could've been a problem in their system. It could've also been the bad attitude cashier, who didn't give a crap and was just ramming things through. This led two hours of wasted time, phone calls with my bank and the credit card people, and with King Soopers locally, and also with Kroger nationally. I finally gave up and the issue was still not resolved. Unfortunately, this latest episode is not the first time I've had problems at the store, and I'm just going to avoid it from now on. read more

Really disappointed in my last few visits here, today in particular. I came to the store 8 minutes before close. I also work retail, so it was the fastest I could get here. I walked up to the door in my work uniform and a man stopped me at the door and said "sorry, we're closed." I said "please, I really only need one thing and I know where it is." He very coldly said "nope, sorry, we stop people from coming in 10 minutes before close so we can go home at a reasonable time." I'm pretty shocked at that. Again, just coming from my own grocery+retail job at another chain, and having welcomed customers in up until the very minute we closed, and even ringing up full carts 20 minutes after close, turning away 1 person who wants 1 thing 8 minutes before close says to me that they don't value me or my business. A couple in a car parked next to mine witnessed the interaction and expressed their shock to me, saying things like "that's just wrong" and apologizing to me. Trust me, I know it can sometimes be frustrating to have people come in last minute, but you never know why someone had to do that and what a little kindness can do for them. Especially when your hours say you are open until a certain time. I would have been in and out before it was even 11:00pm. When I told him that last part, he said "sorry, too many other people ruined it for you." He then shut the door. I probably would have been fired for something like that. Turning me away when I wanted 1 item before they were even closed just turned away my business for life, because I'm not coming back here. read more

i do most of my shopping now at Walmart where shelves are full. King Soopers has been such a disappointment. Gave them a huge benefit of the doubt during and immediately after lockdown, but they they continue to have problems - a cycle of out of stock items, poor selection, discontinued items to push their own brands, salads that spoils before the expiration date, spoiled/damage produce in general. I now return food, which I've never had to do. read more

I have shopped at this store for many years but today will be my last visit! I was literally dressed down by store personnel in front of a parking lot full of customers! I'm over 60, grey haired and have had over 22 surgeries for CP. This women who it turns out was a manager is probably 20+ she's obviously drunk with power and has no business in any sort of customer service work! I'm still shaking from my experience. We live in Texas now but our daughter lives in Loveland, Colorado. This was the second time I ordered flowers for her over the phone on her birthday, through floral department in King Sooper on 253 E 29 St in Loveland. I love this service, it's easy and convenient and at a reasonable price. Not only I ordered flowers but I could add to her delivery a cake and sushi and the woman who was helping me, I wish i remembered her name, was very patient and helpful . My daughter was so happy and liked everything. All in all, I miss King Soopers so much and wish we had it here in San Antonio. Thank you for everything! read more

Pharmacy.... I've waited in drive up for 25 minutes and there was one car ahead of me. All I'm trying to do is drop off a script. I'm going to come back later to pick up. 25 min.. 20 of those minutes I wasn't even addressed with a , We'll be right with you. Then I was greeted with and attitude that I even asked if she was mad.. Walgreens, here I come! I was there again and watching people walk around and seem to be trying to look busy. You can't be in a 30 minute hurry to get scripts here. Just takes forever and the only person who seems happy is a nice guy named Corey. Very personable and fast. Doesn't make up for how SLOW THIS PLACE IS!!!!!!!! read more

So not depend on their pickup service. The past 2 times I have used them they missed items and I have them charged to my account. The first time they told me to come pick up the items but when I went I no one knew anything about it so I had a $12 loss, this time they "missed" $150 worth of groceries, when I called the I asked for someone in charge ans the woman was incredible rude to me (talking to other people while I was trying to talk to her) she passed me to a "manager" who was simply no help at all. She even told me she could give me the 800 number if I wanted to complain. Finally she passed me to the assistant manager (I thought she was the mamager) he was nice but told me they were too busy to help me today ans I would have to submit a new order and couldn't pick it up for 3 days. DANG! WISH IT WAS POSS TO GIVE A BIG FAT ZERO FOR STARS!! OH WELL, AFTER TODAY -I GOTTA VENT!!! Gosh, where do I start?! I should say we need to touch on the pharmacy first off. But we don't have all day! I can't possibly cover everything with them... So I'll trim it down to the latest fiasco. The pharmacy is unbelievably exhibiting great examples of pathetically poor customer service! Are not timely in any way shape or form! Doctor faxed a prescription at 3 PM on a Friday afternoon pharmacist - well the pharmacy wouldn't answer the phone so, I called corporate. They called Pharmacy and Pharmacy says, "we will have the prescription ready on Sunday." Holy cow! For real?! This has to be a flipping joke!They want to continuously cry that they're short staffed. Uh, EVERYBODY IS!!... I don't hear anybody else complaining! Booo-hooooo. Easiest remedy there? Take your business elsewhere! So a week ago Friday I go to get gas at King Soopers on 29th St. Pay $60 cash at the window, fill my car, come back to the kiosk where I'm greeted with a little note that says "I've gone on break, be back in 15 or 20 minutes"! I was in total disbelief to say the least! Well I had NO choice other than to wait 20 minutes for him to mosey back into the kiosk if I wanted my $18 change! You make a call to corporate and explain everything to them and then NOBODY bothers to get back with you. Eight days later, I go to get gas King Soopers 29th St. Want to use my points. Gas is very high price per gallon! Need to get to work tomorrow. Get to the window and I'm told "the computer system isn't working. It won't accept customer information in order to get your gas points for the discount on your gas." Really?! That's a first since I've ever gone there. OK, so I'll come back later. 2 1/2 hours later I called the store and I get some guy named LEE at the customer service desk. I inquire is the system working now? I couldn't get gas earlier. He says "yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not working yet." I said really? Gosh it's been 2 1/2 hours! Are you sure? He responds "Yeah we've been having trouble all day. I am pretty sure it's not working - it's still down." I said well could you please call out to the gas kiosk and check so I don't waste my time and gas (that I'm very low on) and come back to find out that it is not working? He says "well yeah I guess I can, but I still don't think it's working. (obviously trying to blow me off! They are shorthanded, does that mean they can't or DON'T want to do their job? It gives them an excuse to slack with customers?!). I'm on hold about 10 minutes... And then Lee comes back on the phone and says "yeah it's definitely not working. I can't even get an answer on the phone out there". That's what you call going the extra mile Baja ha ha Ha ha ha. ***AVOID THE PLACE AT ALL COST!!*** read more

This store is too crowded! You can't get around for all of the merchandise in the aisle. Two carts cannot even get down one aisle due to bins sticking out in the aisle. The main aisle where you check out is so crowded you cannot line up in any checkout let alone pass through to another aisle. Stock what needs to be stocked, but don't put it in an aisle!, I absolutely hate this store, Safeway is much better. read more

If I could do a 0 stars I would. The store is great but the pharmacy..... the worse ever. I listened to an old man born in 1944 and had trouble walking be told he can't pick up his prescription until tomorrow after going 3 earlier times to pick up. They said it would be ready in an hour the last time he came to get it and was now turned away for the 4 th time.. not to mention my husband had surgery and couldn't have walked into the store and they told me the q put it in for tomorrow. It's pain medication! Stupid that's why I went to Walgreens!!! They can have 2 people working there and handle the window and drive through and consults and filling prescriptions. As it was explained to me the grocery store now has a main priority and that is beer. The grocery manager explained that is their main focus. I do believe one main goal at the grocery store is to get food not beer. My business now is focused on shopping at sprouts. Since their priority is food and not beer. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! They are rude, unorganized and unprofessional EVERY single time I visit. I transferred all my prescriptions from Walgreens because Kings is less expensive however, after my encounter today, I will be transferring all of them back to Walgreens first thing in the morning. I guess it's true what they say "you get what you pay for". I would rather over pay for a prescription then come back to this pharmacy again. read more

A follow-up on my previous review: The other day, I went there and I was not sure where an item was. I asked an employee where it was. He was very friendly and walked me over to where the item was. He asked me if I needed anything further and I said I wasn't sure where the grape leaves were. Today I accidentally dropped a quart of soup around 4:15 pm. The two ladies that worked there reassured me that it was okay even though I felt tremendously bad for making a mess in the first place. I called the store to make sure they got the recognition they deserve but he guy I spoke to, Lee I think his name was, was very abrupt and hung up before I could give my complete compliment. I'm sure it was very busy for him a I completely understand where he was coming from, however I really want to make sure the two ladies on the West end self check out get the props that they deserve! I absolutely despise this grocery store. I dont dislike King Soopers as a company, just this store. It is always super cramped, and with the drive up orders the staff always block the aisles. With your options for Grocery shopping in Loveland being Walmart, Safeway, or Sprouts...you kinda have to go here. Nice remodel and great lower prices. Used to shop here but it got bad, so I stopped shopping there. Now they have remodeled and the people are way more helpful then they used to be. No pricing is great and the produce is the best around. The only bad thing is the Deli, where thee people are rude and they seem to be the only store that cant be bothered to make the chicken wings that all the other King Soopers have. So if you can live with a bad deli the rest of the store is great!!! read more

This pharmacy is garbage. I will admit that there are lots of old people coming through here, so I'm guessing they are pretty busy. However, I have never had a prescription ready to pick up here. I understand if I come straight over from a doctors appointment, my meds might not be ready. Today, I came to pick up my kid's antibiotics, which were called in at 12. No excuses here. He is over 21 but never had that happen before and the to be told by the cashier, Lisa S according to the receipt at 12:36PM, that if i had a minor with me, I could not purchase beer. New Year's Eve I went about 11:30 to pick up medications my doctor faxed over on Friday and was told both would be ready in about 15 minutes. Well, the day got away from me and I finally thought of it around 5 PM. Didn't know if they were Close early because of Christmas Eve so I rushed over. Since I am scared to death of getting the flu I decided I would use the drive up window. There were four cars in front of me the first three went through in about 10 minutes and then I waited an additional 20 minutes behind the fourth car! When I drove up I was told my prescriptions will be ready on Thursday! I need my medications I told the clerk and I told him that I have been told earlier that day that it would be 15 minutes and they would be ready. He had no exclamation I did tell me to come back on Thursday! I understand the flu is running rampant right now and they are tired and they are busy but please don't tell me my prescriptions are going to be ready at a certain time and not have them ready and then be told I have to wait over 48 hours! If this was something new at King Sooper Pharmacy I might overlook it in spite of being extremely upset, but it is not new! I will attempt to find another pharmacy that takes champ VA benefits, it's hard to find pharmacies that take the VA plan. Hopefully I can find something by Thursday because I will pick up my prescriptions and change all my prescription somewhere else. Enough is enough! read more

My friends and I (all of us are about 20years old) came in last night to pick up food for a taco night. Went to the self check out and yes all workers were wearing masks and so were me and my two friends. We were trying to scan the cilantro (which was .50¢) and it wouldn't register the weight in our bags. We were obviously struggling and I saw someone come over thinking they were going to help. The man stood directly behind my friends. Not even a full foot of space during a pandemic and just watched the screen because he thought we were trying to steal it. My friends didn't even know he was behind them because he was so quiet. Finally I asked "are you going to help us???" And my friends jumped because they didn't know he was there and he invaded their personal space, said nothing, and started hitting a bunch of buttons on the screen in a really rude fashion. It was very disappointing to be treated like this but it was more so alarming to have an employee not recognize the 6 foot standard you give people during a PANDEMIC. Super rude. And gave me a glare on the way out. I gave him one too. read more

There are so many benefits of shopping here, customer discounts, discounts off your gas, coupons sent to you. I prefer this place over any other to shop at because the managers have always been kind to me, and say hi and are very friendly. As a customer, I love being acknowledged as an actual human rather than 'just another consumer.' My mom has also been a shopper here for a long time now and they always give her free flowers to bring home, and I think that's really sweet of King's to do. She has also compared prices between Walmart and here, and this place has always won, King's has always been much cheaper with much more items to show for it. Keep up the good work, the kinder you are the more I want to come here and bring others along as well! read more

King Soopers has been my favorite store to shop at for years.....today had the worst experience at the deli. There were 5 employees behind counter but no one wanted to help me. My teenage son wanted chicken tenders and after waiting to be helped quite some time. My son and I were the only customers at the counter. The employee seemed irritated that I was there asked what I wanted. Then she had to ask someone else if they had any chicken tenders. That employee seemed irritated that she was being asked. At this point I felt like the interaction was so negative I couldn't make the purchase. I left the counter without making the purchase. I shop King Soopers almost every week but if this rudeness and lack of customer service continues I will shop else where. read more

Complained the entire check out time that they were shorthanded, even though there was no one waiting in line at any of the checkout lines when I visited. She was downright rude and repeatedly complained about the size of my order/purchases...and I thought King Soopers liked making sales, business security and all. Never did I think I'd leave a review on a pharmacy but here I am, whether they see it or not. Love king soopers, absolutely loathe their pharmacy. Staff is not helpful, not pleasant, and doesn't seem to care about their jobs/customers. I've given many chances for them to redeem themselves, keep coming there because it's convenient where I live, but they continue causing problems so after today I'll find a new pharmacy. They always seem short-handed, so definitely avoid the drive-thru (I've once waited 20 min. with a line forming behind me while watching through the window at one staff member doing a balancing act on the counter while the other was standing around staring blankly, even after hitting the call button multiple times). Ended up going inside since no one would come to the window (not the first time this has happened where I've had to wait a length of time all while watching staff inside not even working on anything.) On multiple occasions they've messed up my prescription, where at one point they even gave me the WRONG prescription then tried to cover themselves saying the doctor prescribed that, to which I called them out since I work in the same clinic as my doctor and know she did not prescribe this rx. Today I needed my rx since it's due, waited in line for a bit, get to the window and she says it's on back order. I ask why no one called me since I told them yesterday I needed this today, and she says, oh we were busy. Not an excuse when it comes to someone's medication. She made no effort to help me or find somewhere that did have my rx or even the generic version of it since I can't miss it (and I informed her how important this medication is for me to take). It's a Sunday late afternoon so finding a pharmacy to fill this rx is impossible at this point. This pharmacy needs a new manager or a new staff altogether. read more

This store has poor customer service, and management is indifferent to the poor behavior of the employees. One of the cashiers had very bad acne and kept squeezing his pustules while he handled my purchase. In another instance I had to return strawberries that were bad (with my receipt from 24 hours previous) and the woman in customer service hassled me about it saying they weren't bad and "good enough". When I approached the floor manager about the shabby treatment he told me "just go get some more" and physically pushed me in the direction of the produce department. no apology and no follow up with the customer service woman with greasy mouse brown hair. They have remodeled the store but it was just lipstick on a pig. I'll be doing my shopping in Ft. Collins. read more
