My spouse and I went to Safeway Pharmacy on Sunday to get flu shots. I picked this location since…read morethey actually had Sunday hours and they're very close to where we live. We'd completed the consent forms online ahead of time (do recommend, makes the process easier) and we checked in after waiting in line for a little bit. The process was pretty typical but the reason why I'm giving 5 stars is their waiting room! Their waiting room is an actual ROOM! With full walls and a door (which has a passcode lock on it, I presume for securing the area after hours) and their treatment rooms are actual rooms with solid doors and walls too! I've never seen this in another pharmacy and I was really excited about it! The pharmacist was personable and professional. My spouse and I were in and out quickly enough and happy to have additional protection against the flu. We also got 10% off groceries coupons we can use any time until the end of the year which is cool.

We went here last week (September 28) to get flu shots. It took about 30 minutes to fill out all…read morethe paperwork (partially due to my insurance being ridiculous about approving it) but we knew it would likely take a while because we rolled in close to closing time. Overall, it was a great experience as far as getting a vaccine goes. I explained that I was nervous and shots scare me and the pharmacist, David, was great about it. We just chatted and he kept my mind off of it. It was over quickly and as painlessly as possible. I highly recommend seeing David if you're nervous because he was great with me. My spouse had a good experience too.

What can I say? It's Walmart. It's cheap, and usually everything is well stocked. I had no issues…read morefinding what I needed for the week. The store wasn't spotless, but given the amount of people shopping, it is what it is. Also, they did have some team apparel: Broncos, and Rockies. I didn't notice any Nuggets gear.

This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

On Sunday, my spouse and I went to this Safeway pharmacy to get our updated COVID and flu vaccines…read more I had to scramble to find vaccines for us because the pharmacy we'd originally planned on going to cancelled our appointments at the last minute but this Safeway location had appointments for the following day so I snatched them up. I wasn't sure what brand of COVID vaccine we were getting, I was just happy to get one at all, but it turns out it was our preferred brand. The waiting area is out in the open to the rest of the store and the treatment room is too small for 3 adults to fit in. I have a needle phobia and explained I needed my spouse there to keep me calm so the pharmacist offered to do it in the waiting area. I was fine with this and appreciated his willingness to work with me. The shots themselves were fine, pinch and some burning. The pharmacist was very friendly and personable while professional. My spouse opted to go into the treatment room. I debated whether to do 4 or 5 stars because the waiting area and treatment room isn't as nice as another location in town but the pharmacist more than made up for it. I'd definitely recommend this location for vaccines. They also offer things like strep treatment/testing and some other things.

This review is about Walmart's pharmacy, specifically their immunization program…read more Last week, I made my spouse and I made online appointments for today on Walmart's website. We became eligible for COVID-19 boosters and wanted to get them done before the holiday season started. We arrived and waited to check in. The staff checking us in was very nice and efficient. We turned over our CDC vaccination and insurance cards and filled out a quick form then we got back our insurance cards (they kept the vaccination cards to add further records) and we went to go wait since there were two people before us. The pharmacist giving us our vaccines was very nice, thorough and professional. Everything was explained to us before it was done and I found that to be refreshing because most pharmacists don't tell you step by step what they're going to be doing and when. I don't know if this is because I mentioned I was nervous but I really appreciated being told what was going to happen before it happened. Once we were done and had our updated vaccination cards, we headed on our way. It was a really fast, efficient, and positive experience.
