I am a local Psychiatric NP who sends orders for patients to Flatirons pharmacy and I get compounded medication here myself. I engage with many pharmacies in my job and Flatirons is a cut above the rest. I love the old fashioned customer service I receive. I appreciate being able to communicate by text. I have the medication mailed to me which is also a great option. Very responsive to my patients and myself. Thank you Flatirons read more

Great local pharmacy. Clean store with a great staff. Casual friendly atmosphere and always welcoming. read more

Always reliable and dependable during the years that i got my compounded medication from them.

They recently implemented a new Text message Pre-payment system. This system feels cheap and not secure. It also can contribute to identity theft, as many scams are conducted through text messages that request payment, but in reality are stealing CC information. read more

Great pharmacdfor compounded products. I drive there from Boulder so clear. Communication is also appreciate. This is a small locally owned place where you feel like you're getting family service. Thanks for being there Jen. read more

The Storefront of the Pharmacy was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Service was rude and indifferent to the fact this was my first time in the Pharmacy. I even said, this is my First Time in your Pharmacy. No response. I asked if she heard me. She said, "What - that this is your first time in the pharmacy? OK - So." I said, Yes - and, how about, "Welcome to Flatirons Family Pharmacy?" She just stared at me and said nothing. Wow - ZERO customer service. It was also the first time for a prescription and I was starting with the lowest dosage. Ethically, I would expect a question around, " Do you have any questions about this drug or how to administer it?" NOTHING. So, If I were providing a grade, it would be a D for Does Not Care about New customers. NOw this could have been only a snapshot in time and only one employee who just wanted to leave the store (she was vacuuming with twenty minutes to go before the Pharmacy closed). So, I Will be looking for a new pharmacy. read more

just now New Don't bother them. They are busy. At least that what I got. Allot of sighing on the phone. I felt like I was bothering them so much when they said they can get the script by the end of the day i was afraid to tell them my dog was in allot of pain and if they could get it ready quicker. Probably would have mattered. When I was verifying my info she would shoot the info out all quick so I had to really listen. Or when I said the address she would cut me off and ask a question while I was almost done. Or she sounded all far away from the phone and when I told her I could not hear her she sounded annoyed. Kinda scary being new with them. And I would eventually have to meet them in person. Yikes. I really need to depend on them to help my loved one. Ugh. I probably should of tried the one further from my house read more

A problem I previously had with this company has been totally rectified. The owner contacted me and explained the situation which completely explained the problem. The new owner called and said she was not making excuses but I could understand happened. She was extremely apologetic and promised to overnight my presectiption and comp the whole oder. Sure enough, my prescription arrived this morning! Thank you, Jen, for taking care of the problem and delivering on your promise. Barbara read more

This pharmacy is different from all the others - they offer a wellness center that is unlike any other! Everyone is super helpful and kind (: And they offer a wonderful delivery service, which Connie is always on time and in contact with me. They have vitamin supplements that are third party tested that I can trust! Absolutely recommend this pharmacy to anyone that is tired of the big pharmacy corporations and looking for that personal and special touch! read more

Great service, selection and value. Prescriptions are always filled in a timely manner. I also receive regular reminders when it's getting close to needing my refill. Highly recommended! read more

The pharmacist at Flatirons is just awesome. He gave great advice even though that did not translate into any profit for him. I had my Shingrex shot and the symptoms is borderline between the Shingrex shot and Covid-19, so I arranged for a rapid Covid test at the pharmacy. The pharmacist listened to my descriptions of the symptoms and recommended not wasting the $100 for the rapid test. He was right. My PCR Covid test from Boulder county later came back negative. read more

I've been using FFP for a year or so now, and there seems to be a problem with just about every interaction. When I've raised questions and concerns, the staff has been weirdly arrogant, whiney, and generally unmotivated to help. I'm looking to change pharmacies asap. It's hard to believe places like this stay in business. read more

I just had it and changed pharmacies - the staff is arrogant. They tell you when Rx will be ready and then don't contact you when they are out of something or they encounter an insurance or doctor delay. Supposed to offer medication program to synchronize all meds together. After 5 months, this never happened. They are not dependable, not interested in communicating, not interested in your business. Went to my Dr. On October 8, 2019 and was prescribed a compound medication, in which my regular pharmacy wasn't allowed to fill. The prescription was sent flatirons pharmacy, they called to inform me that they are waiting for authorization from my insurance company. I told them that 3 last times I filled this medication, my insurance didn't cover it. It's been a regular prescription and I have been calling it in when I had about 7 doses left. They called me and said my prescription was ready. The next day I went to pickup my meds. When I got there, they couldn't find it. After about 15 minutes they called to the counter and proceeded to tell me that the company no longer lets me have that prescription and I would have to see my doctor to get a new one. Now here its October 16, 2019, I have yet to hear from them to say my insurance won't cover the charges, in which the last time after I get my new prescription, it will be $10.00 every time, in which I would be happy to pay. The medication is 800 mg of ibuprofen and a stomach calming medication. When I seen my Dr. He asked me if I was still taking this medication, in which I said no, I've just been taking 600 milligrams of ibuprofen. He wanted to use this medication instead. I went to this pharmacy for the first time today to pick up a prescription. The entire time I was there I had to listen to a woman (manager?) behind the counter who was shouting and swearing at someone on the phone. This went on and on and the associate who was trying to help me kept asking me to repeat myself. She made no effort to quiet the woman on the phone. When she couldn't find any record of my prescriptions I told her she didn't need to call my doctor and that I didn't need to listen to all the yelling. I then called my doctor's office to tell them what had happened and to call my regular pharmacy instead. I've never seen such crude and unprofessional behavior. read more

We were told that our rapid Covid results would be available in 15 minutes. After getting the test, we were then told it would be 45 minutes. No problem. But now after waiting for 1.5 hours, we still do not have our results, the staff has been rude when we contacted them for an update, and the test administrator is not returning our calls. I would not suggest going here if you need a Covid test within a certain timeframe. read more

Honestly the WORST customer service by staff and owner alike. I'll opt for delivery only so as to stay far far away from the poor treatment they feel so free to dole out. Read the other negative reviews as my experience is fairly common at this business. read more

I scheduled a rapid covid test for my son, the cost was $99.00- outrageous but was in dire need of a test.. I called Uc health and was on hold for a long amount of time,  it was critical I could get him an appointment the next day because I had family from all of the country coming home for a new years celebration and my father's retirement. Months of planning! Uc health was able to get him in the morning, and they give FREE covid tests. I immediately emailed Flatirons to cancel the appointment, and was informed that I would still be charged  $50.00 for scheduling and canceling. I pleaded with the owner via email.. she was snarky and rude and refused to just refund. She told me good luck disputing the charges, and that I should have read the fine print. She lost my business, and recommendation. I will still try to dispute the charges and continue telling friends and family about this rip off and disservice. I could understand if I just didn't show up or called an hour before, but I immediately canceled. There was no loss on their end , but still took my $50. UPDATE!!!!! After disputing the charges- my bank awarded me the $50 back. I informed the pharmacy that I was being refunded and again Jen the owner was rude then accused me of stealing from a small business. YOU DIDN'T PROVIDE SERVICE! read more

Snobby belligerent and rude with no regard for peoples health.THE OWNER Blamed us for them not for filling or communicating about a prescription that they asked us to transfer to them because they could deliver unlike the pharmacy where we were at which was the only reason that we put transferred are very important life medications to my son and I are sick and take anti-malaria drugs along with high anabiotic's for stage III Lyme disease and have noImmune system and this is during Covid. She cut me off and talked over me every time I try to talk and even when I brought that to her attention and said you haven't let me finish a sentence to let you know what I'm asking you she continue to cut me off and talk over me I asked her to transfer everybody in my family's prescriptions to Walgreens because she claims she couldn't feel them. She transferred mine which WALGREENS had no problem filling and withheld my sons life important medications when I called back the next day to try to tell them I needed it transferred right away they continue to hang up on me holding my son's medications hostage to where I had to threaten to call the police department for them to release my sons medication to Walgreens . I am a business owner of a very successful business and I can't even imagine treating a customer like this and my customers aren't getting life saving medications during the middle of a deathly pandemic.I would say if this is how the owner acts you couldn't expect much more from anyone else there nor can you rely that your health concerns are safe if you irritate the owner she will withhold your medicine that sounds dangerous if you ask me plenty of places you can go to without being treated this way shame on you read more

After suffering the chain pharmacy's inconsistency and incompetence I was thrilled to find a home-town, locally owned pharmacy! They go out of their way for us, including suggesting ways they can help my elder parents get the correct medications at the correct times. They also compound sizes so my dog gets the correct dosage! So happy with their service! read more

Amazing. Helped us with a rapid COVID test for my young son. The process was seem less. Worth the money. Would highly recommend.

I have used this pharmacy for some time but recently their service has declined to the point where I no longer feel I can rely on Flatirons for safe and professional management of my prescriptions. This is unfortunate because I favor supporting local businesses, but managing medications is a no-compromise task. read more

I am a single mother of two very young children, during this scary time the last thing I want to do is bring myself and my children to a pharmacy to pick up our medications. Jen and her wonderful staff offered me FREE delivery , not only that they had hand sanitizer that is made in house , gloves and face masks, things I couldn't find anywhere, and offered FREE delivery for those items as well. And I didn't even have to have a prescription delivered with them. Jen and her staff care very deeply for their customers and always go above and beyond for them, you really know they care not the fake smiles you get at Walgreens ! I will never use another pharmacy again. read more

Very professional and courteous and kind on the phone with my new medication order. Thank you

You won't find a more professional or customer service savvy pharmacy in town. Smaller staff means they get to know you and that's important. The level of personal service here is out of the park. And they sure know their stuff too. read more

I have never been to a pharmacy where I have felt like the pharmacist actually cares about me or knows who I am. I am always greeted by name and Jen, the owner, is knowledgeable and friendly. Not only Jen the owner, but the entire staff at FFP are awesome. I have a special needs daughter that unfortunately requires a lot of medication and the prescriptions change often due to her changing needs. Jen and Co are on top of the ever changing needs, and go the extra mile in making sure the rx changes are updated in their system so I don't have to worry about it. Personalized service that you simply don't receive at other local pharmacies. Great job folks, and a big thank you! Also, it's great that they have some very cool and unique gifts, cards and all kinds of neat stuff in the store. -kyle read more

When I first discovered Flatirons Family Pharmacy, I thought I had found the solution to many of my prescription issues. I am on several medications for a seizure disorder, migraines, fibromyalgia and chronic pain, short and long-term memory problems, among others. Due to the seizures, I am not legally able to drive and have found the free delivery service to be very helpful. However, I recently found myself apologizing each time I called with a question. Most of the time my questions were about due dates for refills, and on occasion could very well be a repeated question from earlier in time. I know how annoying having to answer the same question multiple times can be. However, it is also annoying and humiliating, to be the one asking those questions over and over. I have discussed this with my physician and friends and there seems to be a consensus that ultimately pharmacies fall into the customer service industry. The difference being that pharmacies have access to very private and sensitive information about their clients. It seems as though since they do have this access, they could take a client's diagnoses into account and show some level of understanding and compassion, rather than impatience and judgement. Maybe I am asking too much, but hope this is helpful to someone considering using this pharmacy. read more

I don't usually think of a pharmacy as an enjoyable place to go but that is exactly how I would describe Flatirons Family Pharmacy. Jen and her entire team are very warm, understanding and welcoming. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, too! We have used the pharmacy for both our own needs as well as for the needs of our pets. I highly recommend Flatirons Family Pharmacy! read more

I started going there to support locally owned business, Jen is very nice. Made me feel respected. Some staff are rather rude and talked down to me. Would argue about refill dates then call and apalogize that they were mistaken. Some times having to go back on the bus to pick it up. They have a MFG that makes a medication I take really work for me thats why I tryed to stay with them but my Dr. Perscribed every 30 days, my insurance aproved every 30 days, but they would only fill every 31 days. It made it hard because I take my first dose at 6am and would have to wait till they open at 9am or miss it all togeather because of bus transportation . All the walgreens, walmarts, kingsoopers and target always fill every 30 days. It was to stressfull trying to stay with them just for the medication MFG I liked and can't find anywhere else yet. I would of dealed with the hours problem but I just couldnt do the 31 day refill on a 30 day perscription. I started dreading going there and never knowing how i was gona be treated so I quit going there about 3 months ago. read more

I love that they check if it would be better to pay out of pocket or through your insurance on prescriptions to save you the most money.

terrible experience. they wouldn't fill my prescription unless I transfer all of my prescriptions to them. why would I transfer prescriptions from my mail order pharmacy and pay more with them. I guess there's a reason there aren't many I dependent pharmacies left. go across the street to Walgreens for much better service. read more

Flatirons Family Pharmacy has great customer service and works to help you fill your prescriptions. I can't say enough good things about them. Initially, my veterinarian recommended them to me for help in finding hard-to-find drugs. They were so fantastic I have transferred my entire family's prescriptions to them from a chain drugstore and haven't been happier since. read more
