My thanks to Cuca in the pharmacy who went 'above and beyond' to help me get my two prescriptions today. I am deeply appreciative.

Worst pharmacy ever. Nothing like a good long wait and staff who just can't even put any effort in. Such apathy.

I dread having to pick up a prescription here. The wait time is ridiculous and the pharmacy staff are not customer service oriented.

Cons: Genuinely the worst pharmacy experience we've had in over 15 years of filling meds, and I think we kept trying only because of how absurd it was. My doctor had picked this pharmacy to send my meds as it was local and he saw it had the best ratings. First prescription that was sent it was no problem, super quick fill and the person my husband spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind and they were able to fill another one right then and there.  Third prescription that was sent in, we received a text that it was on back order with no ETA. It's a daily med but we're used to it being out of stock some months. I called to check if they knew if this would be a longer back order (if so, I could try elsewhere) or if they could tell me alternatives to try. Melanie said she didn't know when it would be available, very short, no concern or any helpful guidance. But ok, that's fine we can wait. 4 days go by and I call again to check if in stock or if I should try and transfer. Melanie again, did not ask my name or medication I needed, only cut me off to say any transfer has to be initiated by the other pharmacy. Alright. I call my other pharmacy and they very nicely explain that unfortunately it can't be transferred. They (CVS) are nice, understanding, express concern and overall helpful. At this point I'm just hoping I can either try an alternative or have a way of knowing my prescription will be filled, my doctor has been communicative and willing to send a substitute prescription. I call and get Melanie again. Very short and borderline rude at this point, I assume she remembers my last call and is annoyed. Fair, I'm annoyed as well. I explain the situation and ask if an alternative med is in stock, but only the brand is. It ends up being $400 for a 30 day supply which is insane as the usual price for my other med is around $35. You would think Melanie would mention the potential for such a high price discrepancy. Maybe I'm the problem though, so my husband volunteers to go in for me to ask them to return the other med to stock and make sure they will be able to fill either prescription for generic when they come in. At this point it's been over a week since I'm out of medication, which is rough. Melanie tells my husband, loudly and from behind the counter, before even saying hi or anything, "I already told her we only have Brand in." Wow. My husband accepts this and asks if they will let us know when they can fill medication, acknowledging it may be another week or more. Melanie tells him they have no way of tracking out of stock medication, that she would have to check my profile daily and they don't do that. She advises best bet is to fill at a chain store or call in every few days to check if it's in. At no point in any of these interactions with Melanie did she express any kind of understanding for missed doses, try and help find an alternative, offer to call any other branch of GoodDay or literally offer anything but annoyance at having to deal with me and my husband.

I got passport photos from here and needed the edited (zoomed-in face) digital copy to submit in the online application. When I went home and downloaded the digital copy to my computer, it was the original full-body photo. If the full-body version isn't acceptable for the physical copies, why on Earth would it be acceptable as a digital copy? Anyway, I end up driving all the way back to request the edited version, only to be told that "That's how the digital passport photos are, we don't send the edited version". I verbally called BS on that, explaining that my family just had their photos taken at Walgreens (different location though), and the digital copies they received were the correct edited version. That was met with a lot of "we can try, but...", "I've never seen it done that way..." and "the computer won't send it that way" comments from the service representative. Seeing that any further requests for correcting the issue would be met with more angsty teenage-level attitude and eyerolling from a fully grown adult, I just left. Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. I will never set foot in this Walgreens again. If you value your time, money, and sanity, then I highly recommend making the drive to another location to try your luck.

**This is an honest constructive criticism.**…read more I was researching to buy an electronic item online and Target has the item on sale but not carry at the Target where I live. The Target web said that Longmont store has the item in stock. I called and spoke to a Sale Associate in the Electronics Dept. to help me check before I've to drive over 20 miles to store. After about 10 seconds, he told me that they don't have the item in stock. In my mind I was like why information don't match? I thank him and hung up. My gut feeling that the store must have the item. So, I decided to take a chance and go to the store any way and if they don't have, I will just go to Best Buy next door. At the store, I look around for a minute and sure enough there is two of them in stock. But, the price in store and online don't match. I showed the Sale Associate the online price and no problem he adjusted for me. I, also, want to get a phone card but the one I want is emptied. I asked him if there is more in stock or somewhere else in store. He told me "No, we ran out." Just like my first gut feeling - they do have it at the store. More on this later on. I want pay for the product use a Target gift card which has enough to cover. He scanned the gift card a couple times and told me that the screen said "The gift card can't be used at this store." I was like what kind of gift card is this? I ended up paid for it used my credit card. Afterward, I went to the Customer Service just to have them check to see why Target gift card can't be used at the Longmont store and which store I'm suppose to go to be able to use the gift card. I explained to the lady and she knew exactly what I want and helped me fixed the whole thing and paid with the Target gift card right there! The register didn't print out the new receipt so she had to page another lady to get a print out from the back for me. I still gave her 5 stars for helping me out. So, I want to buy a phone card earlier and I was told that the store ran out. Well, I walked to the checkout line and guess what I found - a bunch of the phone card I want! I took one to the self checkout line and to find out that I can't buy the phone card with Target gift card. So, I put the card back. At this point I am fed up with the gift card and experience at Target. I decided to grab a few snacks so I can used up all of the remaining balance and don't have to deal with it again. Afterward, I went to another non Target and get a phone card instead. Improvements needed: - I understand that the store is in the process of hiring new staff but some Associates need to know the product locations in store - especially in the Department where they are responsible for. Also, be more active with customer, especially when they are ready to spend money at your store and help them get what they want and more! I've seen many Sales said, "How can I help you?" and when item is not on shelf simply say "Sorry, we ran out." They don't even bother to look in the system, in the back, near by areas or even near by store. Go above and beyond. - Need price check on items to match current sale prices. - Gift card needs clearly ID which bar code is for store use and which is for customer. Does it needed two bar coded? The Sale Associate scanned on a wrong bar coded that was why it kept saying that it can't be used at the Longmont store. Again back to the staff training. The Good: - Store looks bright, clean and spacious.

I called Berthoud Drug to check on prescription refills and got hung-up on by the owner. I could…read moreleave it at that, but I want to take my fair share of the blame. I was annoyed that the meds weren't ready (I had let my stock get lower than normal as I'd been out of town, so I was down to one pill and - of course - it was a Saturday) and my tone of voice and the questions I asked probably reflected that. However, I did not yell, scream or use foul language. The owner, Josh, very quickly reminded me that it's my responsibility to manage my health care, not the pharmacy's. He is correct. But, in my humble opinion, it's also a business owner's responsibility to provide good service to their clients and addressing a customer's concerns is part of running a successful business. Before I became a customer Berthoud Drug about 3 months ago, I used national pharmacies like Walmart, but I wanted to support a locally owned business. I knew a smaller business might not have all the fancy technology that national corporations have, but I expected to get that small community, home-town service. Didn't happen here. Maybe Josh and I were having a bad day but, as a small business owner, hanging the phone up on a client isn't the way to gain or keep a customer base. For what it's worth, I'd like to apologize to Josh if I got overly annoyed that my prescription refills had run out and agree it was my responsibility to keep track of that. But I won't continue to spend my hard-earned money at a business that basically dismissed me when I was concerned about running out of my medications. I'll be taking my future business elsewhere.
