They hung up on me after answering the call and then putting me back on hold after 1 hour and 24 minutes! Absolutely abysmal! As soon as I can transfer my meds out of Walgreens (17th and Hover), I will. I don't feel like I can trust this business anymore. I picked up my pills yesterday. I was quickly reading through paperwork, when I saw the directions to "TAKE 2 TABLETS MY MOUTH 1 TIME EACH DAY." I thought, "Oh! My doctor increased the dosage." Ever been tried to buy something at this Walgreens without it's being a problem? Me either. I had to miss a Covid booster due to an injured hand and trip to the ER. I called days later to apologize and re-schedule. Got there at the day/time I agreed with the person in the pharmacy who took my call. After waiting for 20 minutes where 2 other people had problems which the pharmacy staff seemed unable to resolve, I provided my name and the time agreed to with the person I had spoken to. Searching, searching, searching. The young woman who was "helping" me asked my name several times. I had not changed it. She took a poll of pharmacy staff and finally two other people joined her at the register behind which she stood. The three said nothing but they did stare at me for a while. Kinda reminded me of livestock standing at a fence along a road. I left. Some attitudes and incompetence are not worth the time and energy to try and fix. Should have expected no better from a chain that decided to not provide women's reproductive health care from their nationwide outlets. read more

I have never had a good experience at this location/pharmacy and will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere. Always waiting at 20-30 minutes both in the drive-thru and when I've gone inside; when you try to call no one answers and everytime I have been put on hold for more than 30 min and finally hang up when no one answers. Hate this pharmacy. sucks it's the closest one to my house - 15 minutes away. They CONTINUOUSLY don't fill my prescription because they don't "have enough" yet it takes me driving there and talking to them in person to get a freaking answer. It's crazy! I just waited 20 minutes in the drive thru to be told 1. They ran out a couple days ago and it SHOULD be ready by 11am and also that they lost one of my medications. Zero stars to the pharmacy. Like the other reviewers have stated, the staff is rude, impatient, and incompetent. They didn't want to help anyone that was standing in line and avoided customers until the line was long. The heftier woman finally came over and was in a bad mood and combative. She didn't want to help anyone and was severely agitated. My husband was there for a third covid vaccine and is immunocompromised and also has severe asthma. She and another female pharmacist teamed up and caused a scene and actually told my husband that asthma isn't a big deal and that they couldn't even get their vaccinations. Wtf does this have to do with them? Smh. We ended up leaving and getting his vaccination elsewhere. Walgreens, get your staff in check. I call the Dr they are very very helpful, but walgreens staff is not only rude but completely incompetent and unprofessional!!!! There are few things in this world as frustrating as waiting on a prescription to be filled. I have been waiting over 24 hours to have one prescription filled. My app. has displayed "verifying prescription" for the past 2 hours. I have a laundry list of heart medications that I have sent to this store every month, or I would have stopped coming here a long time ago. The staff is rude, they consistently say one thing and then do another, and I've never felt even a tiny bit of compassion or empathy from any of them. They act as though everyone is inconveniencing them by needing their medication. I get that some people are impatient and annoying, but you can't take that out on everyone. read more

I no longer fill any prescriptions at this location even though it would be more convenient for pick up than most other places because they are terrible at them. They actually gave me the wrong insulin, had it not been gestational diabetes that was mild they could have killed someone. My husband is epileptic and they took so long to fill a scrip that we had the doc reissue it to another location because he needed it and couldn't wait a week. I agree with the other reviewers that this pharmacy did poorly meeting my needs. I had been getting a prescription at a Walgreens in Boulder for months without difficulty. I transferred my prescription to Longmont to shorten my travel and regret that I did this. Three weeks go by after I order the Rx and I discover that the order has still not been placed. Then there is a delay when the order finally arrives and I try to pick it up. I know the pharmacist feels she is following protocol--but it doesn't work well for me, and I will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Nothing like a good long wait and staff who just can't even put any effort in. Such apathy.

The pharmacy is terrible. First month on a med, they gave me the right brand. The next moth, they gave me a different brand & said it was the same as before. The third month, they had another brand change & gave me that one. They said they buy in bulk whichever brand is available & cheapest at that point. The inconsistencies in the brands gave me a bad reaction & I had to go back to the doctor. The fourth time of filling the prescription, they did not have the name brand & didn't know when they would get it in. It is a daily prescription that one can not miss. They did not offer to search other Walgreens & basically said it was the doctors fault for prescribing a name brand. Every time I have dealt with them, they have had an attitude & have been rude. Especially if you ask questions. I had to contact a completely different pharmacy company to get the prescription transferred & filled. read more

I have used Walgreens pharmacy in Denver for years for my monthly ADHD prescription with no problem. Recently moved and started going to Walgreens on Hover St in Longmont in July. It has been a challenge dealing with them each month and is getting worse. Carol B. (as listed on Walgreens..com) or Caroline (according to what she said her name was last night) was disrespectful, condescending, judgmental, and patronizing. This is not about Walgreens policy or practices. This is about Caroline's attitude and behaviors. I left the store feeling infantilized, looked down upon, humiliated,, and very frustrated to be the recipient of this treatment from someone who works in the healing professions. It is important to also note the negative energy and gloomy feeling throughout the store. The interaction with the cashier was weird. Just not a pleasant place to be. Typically, that comes from the top down. The profitability and success of a business is correlated with the social and emotion well-being of its leadership (I.e., managers, supervisors, pharmacy managers). Emotions and attitudes are contagious too. Needless to say, I will not return to that Walgreens. read more

one star is one to many. today i called this store to utilize their curb side pickup. i spoke with a manager about getting my products put together to be paid for and picked up at the pharmacy drive through. the manager said the items would be ready. upon arrival at the pharmacy the pharmacist knew nothing about my order. we went to the front of the store and called the manager again, however the person who answered the phone, placed me on hold and after 15 minutes it was clearly obvious that no one was going to pickup my call so i left without being able to purchase the products that i ordered and needed, basically the staff at this location sucks read more

We submitted the prescription with plenty of advanced notice to this pharmacy on 2 separate occasions to find that it wasn't ready on the agreed upon date. I have been a Walgreens customer for years and they have been my primary provider of prescription service. I had hoped that the slow service and random operating hours would stabilize for this particular store, but they havent and now I can add that they mixed different pills in my prescription, (apparently two different companies?).. There was no documentation or discussion with me about this, so now its my problem to go back and resolve... especially since they arent open the hours published in their ad. Carol Ann is so rude and has gone out of her way to inconvenience me and keep me from getting the prescriptions my doctor has called in. I'm going to complain to corporate because they need to know, specifically, about some of these encounters. I've also heard the pharmacists talking so rude and cold to patients on the phone. I would NEVER recommend this store as the manager isn't any help either. On the other hand, the Walgreens in Erie, where I used to get my prescriptions, is such a pleasure to do business with and I never had any type of problem getting my medicine from them in the year I lived in Erie.
