So apparently Walgreens has taken on the Cigna customer load from King Soopers without any real capability to manage that amount of business. Here's a screenshot of my current hold time from a phone call I am ACTIVELY on with this pharmacy. *ANOTHER update! They hung up on me after answering the call and then putting me back on hold after 1 hour and 24 minutes! Absolutely abysmal! Take your money elsewhere!! **FINAL UPDATE: my second attempt tonight to ask the pharmacist a simple question ended after a TWO HOUR HOLD and someone picked up the phone and immediately hung it back up. Screenshot for receipts. read more

As soon as I can transfer my meds out of Walgreens (17th and Hover), I will. I don't feel like I can trust this business anymore. I picked up my pills yesterday. I was quickly reading through paperwork, when I saw the directions to "TAKE 2 TABLETS MY MOUTH 1 TIME EACH DAY." I thought, "Oh! My doctor increased the dosage." Before I took the second pill, I thought I should investigate more thoroughly. SO thankful I did! This paperwork was for someone else entirely! REALLY WALGREENS?!! Also, I found out today that Walgreens was charging me $100 for a med that I just transferred to a new pharmacy. The cost at the new pharmacy? $14.99! What is going on here??? read more

Horrible service. On two occasions 8+ months apart, I scheduled a vaccination appointment and waited for an hour past my appointment time. This time, I left after an hour with no end in sight. Don't make my mistake - go somewhere else for pharmacy needs. read more

We've been waiting at the photo counter 20 minutes for an easy pickup, and still no staff even after front cashier called for help 4 times. This is at 12:30, no other staff on the floor. Done with Walgreens. read more

A very bad pharmacy. I have been treated poorly here, but I don't think the pharmacy people care. And, I of course, don't think they care about any of their customers. Do better Walgreens. Get your clerks off of their power trip. They're clerks, not small gods... read more

Ever been tried to buy something at this Walgreens without it's being a problem? Me either. I had to miss a Covid booster due to an injured hand and trip to the ER. I called days later to apologize and re-schedule. Got there at the day/time I agreed with the person in the pharmacy who took my call. After waiting for 20 minutes where 2 other people had problems which the pharmacy staff seemed unable to resolve, I provided my name and the time agreed to with the person I had spoken to. Searching, searching, searching. The young woman who was "helping" me asked my name several times. I had not changed it. She took a poll of pharmacy staff and finally two other people joined her at the register behind which she stood. The three said nothing but they did stare at me for a while. Kinda reminded me of livestock standing at a fence along a road. I left. Some attitudes and incompetence are not worth the time and energy to try and fix. Should have expected no better from a chain that decided to not provide women's reproductive health care from their nationwide outlets. read more

The front staff are great at this Walgreens but the pharmacy is unimaginably terrible. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for years longer than I should have because it was accessible to me. They've messed up my prescriptions in so many ways they almost deserve points for creativity. read more

Hate this pharmacy. sucks it's the closest one to my house - 15 minutes away. They CONTINUOUSLY don't fill my prescription because they don't "have enough" yet it takes me driving there and talking to them in person to get a freaking answer. It's crazy! I just waited 20 minutes in the drive thru to be told 1. They ran out a couple days ago and it SHOULD be ready by 11am and also that they lost one of my medications. I always plan to switch to good day pharmacy but it's not as convenient but this time I'm done. I'm so done with this Walgreens. They are so inconsiderate it's pathetic. read more

I have never had a good experience at this location/pharmacy and will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere. Always waiting at 20-30 minutes both in the drive-thru and when I've gone inside; when you try to call no one answers and everytime I have been put on hold for more than 30 min and finally hang up when no one answers. If I could give 0 stars I would. UPDATE: Just switched to Walmart pharmacy down the road. I called the pharmacy, they picked up immediately, and said my prescription for my sick baby was already ready for pick up less than 20 minutes after I had my doctor switch pharmacies for me! read more

Horrible! Prescription delayed for a week and counting while pharmacist is supposedly "reviewing." When you call it rings forever and then hangs up. Transferring my prescription elsewhere. Abysmal! read more

Zero stars!!! The pharmacy staff at this location are rude, condescending and as unhelpful as they can possibly be. Please give serious thought before taking your prescriptions here - there are several other Walgreens locations in Longmont that have wonderful staff!! read more

Zero stars to the pharmacy. Like the other reviewers have stated, the staff is rude, impatient, and incompetent. They didn't want to help anyone that was standing in line and avoided customers until the line was long. The heftier woman finally came over and was in a bad mood and combative. She didn't want to help anyone and was severely agitated. My husband was there for a third covid vaccine and is immunocompromised and also has severe asthma. She and another female pharmacist teamed up and caused a scene and actually told my husband that asthma isn't a big deal and that they couldn't even get their vaccinations. Wtf does this have to do with them? Smh. We ended up leaving and getting his vaccination elsewhere. Walgreens, get your staff in check. Clearly these people don't want to be there and customers aren't happy. I'll be writing corporate. Unacceptable. read more

If it was possible to give zero stars I would!!! They have been working on my.husband's prescription for a WEEK!!! I call the Dr they are very very helpful, but walgreens staff is not only rude but completely incompetent and unprofessional!!!! They have one plan and that's to "fax" request for instructions well you think after 5 days they might go to plan B or C or have one independent trouble shooting thought amongst the group!! read more

My thanks to Cuca in the pharmacy who went 'above and beyond' to help me get my two prescriptions today. I am deeply appreciative.

Some of their over the counter medication is twice the price as Target and Walmart. I give them

There are few things in this world as frustrating as waiting on a prescription to be filled. I have been waiting over 24 hours to have one prescription filled. My app. has displayed "verifying prescription" for the past 2 hours. I have a laundry list of heart medications that I have sent to this store every month, or I would have stopped coming here a long time ago. The staff is rude, they consistently say one thing and then do another, and I've never felt even a tiny bit of compassion or empathy from any of them. They act as though everyone is inconveniencing them by needing their medication. I get that some people are impatient and annoying, but you can't take that out on everyone. read more

I no longer fill any prescriptions at this location even though it would be more convenient for pick up than most other places because they are terrible at them. They actually gave me the wrong insulin, had it not been gestational diabetes that was mild they could have killed someone. My husband is epileptic and they took so long to fill a scrip that we had the doc reissue it to another location because he needed it and couldn't wait a week. If you just want a quick stop for junk or otc meds it's an ok store. read more

I have been given the run around by this pharmacy so many times, having to call multiple times every time to make sure scripts come though and are filled etc just awful and tonight I really needed a med filled and was again given the run around and said even tho they had it in since it was flu season they needed 24 hours to fill my meds wtf? Over it with them! read more

I rarely come here, but visit every year for flu shots. Just walk in, deal with insurance red-tape, get a shot and leave.

I agree with the other reviewers that this pharmacy did poorly meeting my needs. I had been getting a prescription at a Walgreens in Boulder for months without difficulty. I transferred my prescription to Longmont to shorten my travel and regret that I did this. Three weeks go by after I order the Rx and I discover that the order has still not been placed. Then there is a delay when the order finally arrives and I try to pick it up. I know the pharmacist feels she is following protocol--but it doesn't work well for me, and I will go elsewhere in the future. read more

I've stuck with Walgreens for a long time. I'm done. This pharmacy 1.) mistakenly told me to be there at a certain time to pick up my prescriptions. Both times the pharmacy tech told me to come. Both times I got there (after the 23 miles each way trip) to find out the prescriptions were not ready & that Walgreens would fill them a later day. They didn't seem to care that I wasted my time on Easter no less. The recent med was controlled but my Dr literally made the due date Sun but Walgreens still wouldn't fill it until today. I'm done with you Walgreens read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Nothing like a good long wait and staff who just can't even put any effort in. Such apathy.

The pharmacy is terrible. First month on a med, they gave me the right brand. The next moth, they gave me a different brand & said it was the same as before. The third month, they had another brand change & gave me that one. They said they buy in bulk whichever brand is available & cheapest at that point. The inconsistencies in the brands gave me a bad reaction & I had to go back to the doctor. The fourth time of filling the prescription, they did not have the name brand & didn't know when they would get it in. It is a daily prescription that one can not miss. They did not offer to search other Walgreens & basically said it was the doctors fault for prescribing a name brand. Every time I have dealt with them, they have had an attitude & have been rude. Especially if you ask questions. I had to contact a completely different pharmacy company to get the prescription transferred & filled. read more

Terrible!! Find another location where the techs actually give a damn about customer service.

I have used Walgreens pharmacy in Denver for years for my monthly ADHD prescription with no problem. Recently moved and started going to Walgreens on Hover St in Longmont in July. It has been a challenge dealing with them each month and is getting worse. Carol B. (as listed on Walgreens..com) or Caroline (according to what she said her name was last night) was disrespectful, condescending, judgmental, and patronizing. This is not about Walgreens policy or practices. This is about Caroline's attitude and behaviors. I left the store feeling infantilized, looked down upon, humiliated,, and very frustrated to be the recipient of this treatment from someone who works in the healing professions. It is important to also note the negative energy and gloomy feeling throughout the store. The interaction with the cashier was weird. Just not a pleasant place to be. Typically, that comes from the top down. The profitability and success of a business is correlated with the social and emotion well-being of its leadership (I.e., managers, supervisors, pharmacy managers). Emotions and attitudes are contagious too. Needless to say, I will not return to that Walgreens. read more

one star is one to many. today i called this store to utilize their curb side pickup. i spoke with a manager about getting my products put together to be paid for and picked up at the pharmacy drive through. the manager said the items would be ready. upon arrival at the pharmacy the pharmacist knew nothing about my order. we went to the front of the store and called the manager again, however the person who answered the phone, placed me on hold and after 15 minutes it was clearly obvious that no one was going to pickup my call so i left without being able to purchase the products that i ordered and needed, basically the staff at this location sucks read more

Terrible. Most times do not have drug available- has to order it. They say they will call when rx is ready, they don't. Not very friendly to customers. read more

The people in this pharmacy are always rude and wildly unhelpful. I get they're probably not treated nice considering the lady that seems to be the actual pharmacist is the meanest lady ever and talks down to them constantly in front costumers. Anyhow I still can't see why its just fine for them to be rude and make sick people wait for medicine..... read more

Avoid at all cost! My wife went by here for the first time, and the Pharmacy Technician verbally berated her while the Pharmacy Manager stood by and did nothing. I called back, and the Pharmacy Manager said that nothing wrong had taken place, and he thought everything was fine. Avoid!! read more

Love coming to this store but mostly just to look around, makeup is wayyy overpriced along with the rest of the products, might as well go to Walmart. read more

This is the worst pharmacy to go to. One of the pharmacists, Caroline, is so incredibly rude. Hung up on me twice, lied and said I called her multiple names and refused service to me on the night that I needed medication refilled. After that experience I will never go there again and highly recommend everyone to stay away! read more

A run-of-the-mill neighborhood drugstore; provides a variety of personal care items, household supplies, and a paltry selection of grocery items. read more

I will not have prescriptions filled at this location again. My child is on a prescription for ADHD. We submitted the prescription with plenty of advanced notice to this pharmacy on 2 separate occasions to find that it wasn't ready on the agreed upon date. I think they just forgot to place the order!! Being without a prescribed drug due to incompetence of the pharmacy is not something I can tolerate especially when it comes to my child. read more

I have been a Walgreens customer for years and they have been my primary provider of prescription service. I had hoped that the slow service and random operating hours would stabilize for this particular store, but they havent and now I can add that they mixed different pills in my prescription, (apparently two different companies?).. There was no documentation or discussion with me about this, so now its my problem to go back and resolve... especially since they arent open the hours published in their ad. Correcting this prescription will be the last time I enter this store. read more

I dread having to pick up a prescription here. The wait time is ridiculous and the pharmacy staff are not customer service oriented.

I'm giving this store two stars because Its usually alright, but the last time I went there the guy working in the photo department was extremely rude.He deserved one star. He seemed super irritated and was not pleasant at all. I don't usually mind if someone isn't very friendly, but I definitely didn't appreciate his bad attitude, especially when it was for no reason. read more

I have never in my life had experiences with pharmacists like I have at this store. Carol Ann is so rude and has gone out of her way to inconvenience me and keep me from getting the prescriptions my doctor has called in. I'm going to complain to corporate because they need to know, specifically, about some of these encounters. I've also heard the pharmacists talking so rude and cold to patients on the phone. I would NEVER recommend this store as the manager isn't any help either. On the other hand, the Walgreens in Erie, where I used to get my prescriptions, is such a pleasure to do business with and I never had any type of problem getting my medicine from them in the year I lived in Erie. They are superb! This is sad and really needs to be reported. read more
