We have never had any complaints or issues with this location, they have always been very friendly, and helpful with any prescription questions that we have had. Unfortunately, my wife came down with Covid 19 from over the weekend, and our Doc put in a prescription for Paxlovid (the common cure for Covid now days). Well, to my surprise, I go to pick up the prescription and the price is over $300.00, with insurance (no longer the government issue, commercial issue now). It wasn't that I didnt have the money to pay for it, I want my wife to get better. I would pay $1k if I had to, just so my wife could get rid of this crud. But it was the sticker shock of what the cost was before, compared to now. Janea "The pharmacist" must have seen the look on my face, and proceeded to tell me about a program that I could apply for, that could bring the cost of the medicine down in price and possibly save me a couple hundred dollars. She gave me the paper to call, which I texted to my wife, within a matter of few minutes she was approved, gave her a card to show to the pharmacist, which she emailed to me, and I kid you not, the bill for the Paxlovid came down from over $300.00 down to $0.00 out of pocket! Most employee's would not go out of their way to help their customers save money in this day in age. However, I do have to say that "Janea" (again, sorry if the spelling is wrong), deserves a big pat on her back, for her customer service, friendliness, and willing to step out of the box and go the extra mile and offer assistance, in a situation like this. Walgreens, you have a very valuable employee here, an asset to Walgreens. Make sure you treat her well, because she most defiantly looks out for her customers, and their needs. Plus with that attitude and willingness to help, she will go far! ! She was also nice enough to tell me, that she hoped that my wife started feeling better soon. :-) THANK YOU AGAIN JANEA! ! ! ! Security "checked" the cameras for a whole six minutes and came back with nothing useful--basically just brushed me off. The entire process felt dismissive and unhelpful. On top of that, the customer service staff were rude and clearly didn't care about actually helping resolve the issue. AVOID this provider! Major Medical's (MM) billing procedures are incorrect, misleading and…read moreoverbilled to insurance by hundreds of dollars. Thank goodness for the insurance company EOB's. If it weren't for them, not sure how we'd know to question MM's billings. Don't expect MM to answer phone calls, except for the recording to leave a message. And then, if you get a return call within three or so days, count yourself lucky! There is CONSIDERABLY MORE I could explain, but with all reviews being at ONE, you get the idea from all of us who have shared a few of our experiences that if you have a choice of DME providers, do NOT choose Major Medical Supply (or Rocky Mountain Medical Equipment).
